I've driven by this place a million times. It's one of the few original shops that survived the downturn when the area hit bottom.... One Friday evening I decided to come in after dinner because I saw that they had some empty cigar boxes for sale on the sidewalk. I had been looking for a few of them to stash all of my fountain pens and the thousands of Japanese gel pens that I keep buying non stop....they had about 15+ or so all in really good shape and nice sizes for $2 bucks each. I ended up getting a couple of them....the manager Harvey was there and turned out he knew a friend of mine so that was cool.... The decor of the place is just fantastic. I love the vibe of the whole scene. Big comfortable leather couches and a live blues band playing in the background. I almost expect Ella Fitzgerald to step out any minute and begin belting out one of her hits... What an awesome environment! First time here and definitely won't be my last. Walk through the front door and are pleasantly greeted by the staff and patrons. Even though they don't require you to wear a mask (it's a smoking joint), they do check yourself temperature upon entry. You know, just to make sure you have no COVID symptoms. Huge selection of different cigars in their humidifier. Vast beer list. And non alcoholic drinks to sip while you relax in their plush leather chairs. Tip to the newbys: if this becomes a favorite spot and you're eyeballing their lockers, make sure you get on the waitlist! Not sure about y'all, but I'm a sucker for a cigar bar. Rude.. My wife and I were anxious to visit this place after we had a nice dinner in the area. We walked in and a gentleman was sitting at the front table eating fast food. He asked if we needed help with anything while not taking his eyes off the tv. At first I didn't even think he worked there, but it turns out this gent was the manager. We walked into the humidor and started checking out the selection. The manager, still chewing his food, came in and asked us again if we needed help finding anything. I told him I was sort of new to cigars but wanted something nice. I was prepared to drop 50$ on some cigars. The manager suggested a couple of cigars and noted that he has tried them all - his voice crackling in between coughs. At this point, it seemed like he was just trying to shoo us off so he could go finish his fast food. I grabbed a cigar that looked nice and the manager told me that it was too strong. I said I didn't mind I just wanted to try it. That's when he mentioned that I would "probably throw up" if I tried it. I looked at him and said "well you talked me out of it". My wife and I left at that point. We won't be going back to this place. read more

Been here many times. Always friendly fellows and usually an interesting clientele.they always make me feel welcome to sit back and enjoy a cigar and a drink. Nice humidor with good selection, prices are more than fair for a lounge. They do serve beer, wine, soft drinks, and have a Kurig for coffee. They are not about pretense but about a relaxing time. Have not been there for the live music but have heard from others that it's a good time. Plenty of comfy leather chairs and a few flat screens to watch the news or a game. I was a little intimidated since I was and still am a cigar novice, but overall the staff helped me with "cigar 101", some above average beer selections, and made me feel like I fit in. FYI-don't wear anything into the place unless your ok with it smelling like smoke when you leave. But it's a cigar bar for crying out loud... What would you expect. Thanks for the good time. AWESOME, I'm a younger male, and have been to several cigar bars. These guys are great very down to earth and communicate very well. The building is amazing with some impressive art work. This a great neighborhood cigar lounge! Recent management changes now have solved a few earlier issues in other reviews. The new manager, Butch, is perfect for this place. An Irish (Notre Dame) guy with a handlebar mustache that knows how to create a fantastic environment to enjoy a wonderful cigar, cold beer or wine while sharing great camaraderie with other folks. Friday and Saturday nights feature live music! Check out their weekly schedule. Most Fridays feature a crooner, Sinatra style, who won the 2013 L.A. Music Awards Crooner of the Year! They also feature some of the best female vocalists and a few folk/rock groups too. They carry a very large selection of cigars and Butch and his staff will be glad to lead you though the maze of cigars. So if you are a cigar aficionado or a beginner, definitely give these folks a try! Come by Friday or Saturday evening and meet the owner, Harvey Burkin. Need a place to store cigars?
