I've had lunch at Sidelines a couple of times in recent months. I found it to be really nice place to talk and visit, while enjoying good quality food. I had the club sandwich one visit and the California Chicken Salad another. Both delicious! We also came for wings and beer another evening visit. This used to be one of our favorite places, but the prices have gotten ridiculous. They charge $52 for a bottle or 14 Hands wine and $14 for a glass. The same bottle was $23-26 in 2024. This same bottle of wine is $10.20 at Publix. I understand markups on alcohol in restaurants, but this is not acceptable. We have actually found they charge more for a glass of wine than places like Stoney River. I do not think we will be going back. read more

First time eating at Sidelines. When we walked in, the first thing you notice is the plentiful tvs playing all the sporting events. Each booth has its own TV where you can request a specific game. The prices are very reasonable especially for kids. The kids meal is only $6 and it includes a side and a drink. The adult burger and sandwich were each around $12-13. We ordered the Tennessee whiskey burger, the cuban sandwich, kids cheeseburger, kids Mac n cheese, kids grilled cheese and the garlic fried cheese curds as a starter. My favorite item were the cheese curds. They were flavorful and hot. The rest of the food was okay but not great. We would definitely come back again for the atmosphere and great service. We ended up here by default. The Chinese restaurant in the same strip mall is still takeout only, and we figured 'we're here already.' So... hello Sidelines Grille! Some sports grills do a great job. Without mentioning names, I'm thinking of a place with great burgers down the road. But Sidelines -- if you're there to eat like we were -- is average at best. My husband deemed his burger merely okay. My shrimp fajitas were the same. Hot -- temperature-wise -- to the point of being ridiculous. Shrimp tails were left on -- you don't do that with fajitas -- and there was minimal if any seasoning. Nothin' with nothin'. Our friends -- one ordering a burger, the other a different shrimp dish -- thought the same. If you're coming to watch games with food being secondary, this could be your place. Many kinds of beer, and television monitors all over the place. On Friday, early evening, every table was filled. People who like this kind of place, indeed like this kind of place! It's seriously gone downhill. Our server was very nonchalant. He took a long time to take our order. And rarely came back to refill our drinks. The food itself wasn't good. My chicken finger plate was dry and overcooked. The Mac and cheese was cold. The wings never came out until I had to flag down someone (our server was nowhere to be found) Then they gave us the wrong wings. We had to wait some more. I've lived in this neighborhood for 8 years and frankly quit coming to Sidelines years ago due to so- so food and atmosphere. Not anymore! Stopped by on a whim and was surprised by remodeling. It's twice the old size and the patio is fantastic. Pretzel bites are hot and delicious and plentiful. Clam Chowder with lots of clam hit the spot on a dreary rainy afternoon. For these instances of hardly any vegetarian options, I've been including salmon into my diet so that i may still eat out with friends and family. I opted for the Caesar salad, no croutons, add red onion, and add blackened salmon fillet. My boyfriend ordered the Tennessee whisky sandwich NO BACON (THESE PEOPLE PUT BACON ON EVERYTHING!) Shortly after our food arrives, my salad had a large piece of tilapia... no salmon nor red onion. The manager only took off the wings that we did not get yet and charged us full price for the wings we did receive. The flavor was awful. Happy the tater tots were edible. Service was poor items placed on food request to be taken off burger were still on them (that happens). Overall the items we ordered were nothing worth repeating especially when there are a million other burger places within driving distance. Tv on table didn't even have an option to change it to what you want and if they did they didn't offer. Visit date: 7/4/2021 Our family had an enjoyable time during our first visit to Sidelines Grille today. There is plenty of seating, either around the bar or in the large dining area. The booths are large and each booth has a tv, where you can request your channel. It was really fun for Keno. The service was excellent, thanks Chloe! Between the four of us, we ordered the pretzel app (very good), lobster bisque, a cuban, a philly, and a reuben. Food came out quickly, and it was hot. The prices were reasonable (on average $11 per sandwich) and the food met expectations. I think the friendly staff, reasonable prices, and spacious dining area make this a great place to check out. Roaches. Stay away We have been coming to this location for years. We saw a roach on the straws sitting at the bar back in 2019. Then we went back bc we love the food and sat at the booth and saw another roach, we were done. Then covid hit, we stayed away for a long time. Tonight we went back august 31, 2021 hoping for a better experience and saw ANOTHER ROACH We spoke with the management hoping they'd fix the problem. Unfortunately they have not. 1 star means not only do I have no interest in ever returning, but I will actively dissuade people from considering this place as an option. Came for lunch on a weekend. Place was at 30-40% capacity. Instead of bringing drinks out on a tray, server makes two trips.. carrying 3 bunched up together and spilling, then comes back with the 4th person's drink. Took almost 30 minutes for fried pickle appetizer to come out and they were mediocre. Server directly inputs your order into a handheld device at the table, and yet somehow 2 of the 4 orders ended up being messed up with the wrong entrees and sides being brought to the table. The food was awful. The fries weren't fresh, the mac and cheese was soupy and cooler than room temperature, the patty melt was dry. Not going to list everyone's food, but no one finished more than half their meal and everyone felt bleh leaving. There are tv's everywhere. Place is probably only ok to have a couple beers and to watch a game, but would rather go to Guston's for that and they have decent food at least and a better atmosphere. read more

Sunday is my favorite day, always packed for a game of some sort, be it one of the sports on the wall TVs or Singo! (Song Bingo!) Pretty cool little place. I liked the fact they were open a little later which was nice after the two hour movie date I came from. The server was Abby was really nice. Pleasantly surprised by this spot. We stopped in after catching a movie and I must say on a football night I would enjoy hanging out here. Lots of tvs and lots of crowd interaction. The hostess and servers were pretty helpful and attentive as it was our first time stopping in. We ordered a southwest salad, it wasn't the best but for a bar it was decent, and a messy chili burger which my SO really enjoyed as well as a side of pasta salad. read more
