Boom Boom Shrimp! Miller's Ale House is a pretty standard place for bar food, but the service and cleanliness is above average for a bar! Their menu is full of so so many options. I went with the safe chicken tenders tossed in a wing sauce... it was more than enough food... very good portions for the price! I could've skipped the fries for a different side, but they weren't bad classic cut fries. The highlight of this meal was the appetizer... the Boom Boom Shrimp. As pictured below, these fried shrimp are smothered with a delicious sauce... I asked for the more of the sauce so that I could use it for my fries- addicting! Me and my family all agreed that the Boom Boom Shrimp was the best part of the meal, and we would come back just for that appetizer! Arrived at noon to boarded windows due to a break-in last night. No fault of the business and they cleaned up well. We were sat quickly and the waitress came by a few minutes later. Establishment was clean or orderly, minus the boarded up windows. Staff friendly as well. Food ordered. The menu has changed since we came last and my wife's favorite was no longer available. I had the fish and chips and wife ordered their cheese steak sandwich. The fish and chips were good. Fries could have been fresher (-.5). Wife's cheese steak was good but wished it had peppers (-.5). Miller's Ale House - A Disappointing Visit with a Side of Frustration I recently visited Miller's Ale House in Kennesaw hoping for a casual, enjoyable meal--but what I got instead was a masterclass in poor service and underwhelming food. To start, the restaurant was nearly empty, so I expected relatively quick seating and service. Instead, the hostess seemed unsure of what to do, awkwardly asking if I wanted to sit at the bar. I declined and asked for a booth, only to be seated in the bar area anyway. I waited nearly twenty minutes without a server stopping by. Eventually, I had to go find someone to ask who was assigned to my table. That's when Michaela--my server--finally showed up. She didn't offer much in the way of engagement or hospitality, but I placed my order anyway: the so-called "infamous Zingers," which turned out to be just average chicken fingers. They were drenched in a sauce that made them soggy and didn't do much for the flavor. The texture was off--mushy and unappetizing. There were no napkins on the table and the ketchup bottle was completely empty. I looked around for Michaela but she was nowhere to be found. The whole setup felt neglected and indifferent. One thing Michaela did do quickly was bring the check and collect payment. I guess that counts for something--if only the rest of the service had been that efficient. What really stood out, though, was the stark difference in service I witnessed. About thirty minutes into my visit, a Caucasian man was seated nearby. His server took his drink and food order almost immediately--before he'd even had time to settle in. I don't want to make assumptions, but the contrast was glaring. It's hard not to notice these things, especially in a place like Kennesaw where, let's be honest, that kind of dynamic isn't unfamiliar. Sigh. Kennesaw could benefit from more restaurant options, but more importantly, it needs better ones. If Miller's Ale House wants to survive, they'll have to start treating every guest like they matter. This was my first visit to the Kennesaw restaurant. This location looks a little newer and nicer than the one in Alpharetta, where I have dined frequently. I met a friend here for dinner, and we had an overall good experience. Our server Brayden was welcoming and attentive. He took the time to describe the specials as well as a number of the menu items. My friend had never been to the restaurant before, so Brayden gave good recommendations. My friend ordered the roasted chicken quesadilla. He asked for fresh jalapeños, and Brayden brought a large, fresh one and roasted it right at the table. My friend said everything tasted flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I ordered the full rack of ribs special with a loaded baked potato and side salad. I asked for an extra side of BBQ sauce because the ribs tasted very dry and a little too tough. I probably would not order the ribs again. Brayden's service was definitely the highlight of our experience. Based upon his service, we would definitely consider returning and recommending the restaurant, but I would probably order the Zingers or Pork Osso Bucco next time. Cheers read more

The food was good but man was the restaurant filthy. Outdoor eating area had a large table that hadn't been cleaned for the entire hour and a half that we were there. The floor beneath my feet was wet and sick. A sign was put out "wet floor" wow, just clean it hahaha. Todd was a good server but the manager needs a course in leadership. We had a party of nearly 30 and KEVON was the best server. He single handedly managed our entire party with no issues. The food was well prepared, especially the shrimp pasta bake. The Fried Shrimp came with 35 pieces and fries on the side. It was such a big platter, I had to take home leftovers. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and fried. The fries were also delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Mimi's Fiesta Chicken & Shrimp Bowl was absolutely delicious! The chicken and shrimp were seasoned and grilled to perfection! We had a long day traveling and were looking for a place near our hotel to get a quick meal - this place had good reviews so we thought we'd try it! It was crowded when we arrived (Friday night!) but hostess was able to get us seated in the bar area. Our waitress was excellent and took good care of us. It is a sports bar, lots of TVs going with multiple sports events. I ordered a glass of Cabernet. I ordered a cheeseburger and it came cooked as requested (and without as requested!) Fries were really good! Hubs ordered an 8-oz filet mignon. The manager-in-training came a few minutes later to let him know they were out of the filet and offered a 10-ounce sirloin instead - hubs was fine with that. He then came back a few minutes later to say that was also not available so hubs ended up with a 6-oz sirloin. The gentleman was very gracious and apologetic but it would have been good not to offer an item as a substitute when it was also not available (supply chain issues?). The food is fairly decent, I had the Cajun chicken pasta which was pretty good and my bf ordered the fish and chips but he wasn't too impressed. We also ordered the fried jalapeños which were really good. The two stars is due to service, we placed our order to go, and when we arrived there was no one at the front so we went to the bar to pick up our order. It was fairly empty inside and at least three server walked in our direction to serve others but no one stopped to ask if we had been helped, or to say someone will be with you shortly, nothing. The fries were boring, unseasoned fries, with a few sprinkles of cheddar...half of which was melted. I considered sending them back but that would have required someone to swing by. There was nothing 'fully loaded' on these fries and it is one of the easiest things to make in a kitchen. The bar tender Izzie started off well took drink order came out fast. They do card doesn't matter how old you are and if you don't have your physical ID they will not serve you. The service after the first drink pretty much went down hill. We orders appetizer when we ordered the drinks but she never put it in. So we were just sitting and waiting. Had to ask her to take our food order. When we asked about the original food she stated that we just ordered more food so it should be ok. All the food needed salt and pepper. I can say my steak was cooked perfect medium. The crab legs were over steamed so mushy. We also order burger and fries there was like 20 fries. The lobster ravioli not that good. We ordered the mozzarella sticks for our appetizer and they were excellent. The presentation was on point, and the taste was delicious. The chicken tenders were lacking in flavor. That was probably our fault. They tend to serve them tossed in different sauces, but we ordered them plain. The chicken was very tender and juicy, but had zero flavor. Almost like it had zero salt, and tasted like plain boiled chicken. Next time I will definitely get the chicken tossed in a sauce to add flavor. It seems to be a necessity.
