After a quick shopping trip at Town Center Mall, we decided to pop in and give this restaurant a try. We started with an appetizer- The BBQ nachos The portion was more than enough for two people. The nachos were delicious. The pork was so tender and the barbecue sauce has a nice flavor and taste.... We couldn't stop eating them. They offer brunch on Saturday & Sunday's from 11-3pm. They had a ton of TVs on the wall so you're bound to see your favorite team playing when you come in. Although they were a bit busy, our waitress was top tier. We've been going to 3$ for 39 years. Our two sons had 3$ for their wedding events. The staff and leadership of this establishment are the best!! These wings are truly the best wings and the only ones my husband will eat. He hates chicken but loves only 3$ chicken wings. We have to have them once a week. The servers are great at 3$ but it sure is wonderful when Kennedy is your server. We sit down and here she comes with our drinks and knows our order. She's the best server. She constantly checks on you and keeps your drink full. She gets to know several of the regulars. She's very friendly and it's evident she loves working at 3$. Go try the wings! This Three Dollar Cafe location is located in Kennesaw in a small shopping center across from Macy's Men Dept at Town Cente Mall. There is of course free parking. There's plenty of flat screen tvs to watch the current sports games. Friendly staff and crowd. Upon entering, we were immediately seated with option of table or booth. We got a booth with great view of tvs showing the GA game. Our waitress introduced herself and covered drinks. Water for both of us. Sports bar so when in Rome. We both ordered wings. You can substitute fries for the celery for $0.99. I got the 10 piece lemon pepper and my son 10 piece teriyaki. The food came out fairly quick. I would pay extra for flats. I had 2 out of 10 flats. My son had about half and half. The fries were thick cut steak potatoes. The wings came out hot and well seasoned. The fries were hot. Condiments are provided upon request. We were out shopping. This was first thing we both ate for the day. It did not sit well with us. We had to stop shopping and rush to find clean facilities. The food did not sit well. I felt fine while eating. While my God daughter shops in the mall. My best friend and I stroll into Three Dollar Cafe. It's early afternoon on a Friday. We walk up to a outdoor billboard with $4 margaritas...yes please sign us up. Walk in not crowded at All. Seated Immediately.. We already know we want wings and the $4 Margaritas.. sign stated with Free Chips and Salsa (which we didnt get)we inquired about the size of the drink..server stated about the size of a rocks glass.. ok no problem..or was it? We weren't asked our preference of salt or not on the rim. I don't like anything on my rim. Looks could be deceiving.. but we were the ones deceived. Margarita Tasted just like simple Margarita mix. Yuck.. what could help??? A shot of Tequila that seemed to be missing. We asked about the tequila shot prices.. $6.95.. it goes up from there. No thanks... we passed. Best bone in Chicken wings EVER!!!! Wings are not to small and not to big, they are the perfect size and I ask for extra crispy and the wings never disappoint. Normally, I don't really post reviews or anything like that here and there but the service here was so good I just had to as this is now definitely one of my favorite restaurants. I started going here around the time the new owners got it. I can say the wings and fish tacos. Here are amazing. Across-the-board the food is good, but those are my favorites and of course you can't go wrong with having a nice cold one alongside some good food my go to is Dos Equis Ambar that is priced very well also. We went in here with a group of 11 and were not disappointed. And loved the mango Habanero wings and the fried mushrooms. I didn't try anything else so I can't comment but other items on the menu. Everyone in my group seemed to be satisfied though. The restaurant was really busy while we were in their and our waiter still took care of us very nicely. Other people in our group said the fried mushrooms used to be better. They said that they used to be larger and have a better coating. I haven't had them so again I can't comment on that. A cold mug of beer is a great way to celebrate watching your team win. A cold mug of beer sure helps if your team is losing. I can't think of a much better place to watch a game and drink this cold mug of beer than $3 Cafe. $3 Cafe is literally wall to wall televisions. This Steeler fan wasn't thrilled that most of the tv's were turned to the Falcons game, but no worries, we did find one tv with our beloved football team. My dining partners all chose from the extensive draft beer list while I ventured to the "fishbowl" list. As advertised, my drink was served in a plastic fishbowl. I can't remember which I ordered but it was so potent that the rest of my afternoon was a little fuzzy anyway. There needs to be a limit on these puppies!!! The drinks here are great and so is the food. I had the cheese steak. Piles of chopped steak, onions and mushrooms (an additional 50 cents) were piled on top of a super fresh roll. Unfortunately the accompanying steak fries were a mushy, smashed pile of potatoes - the only real disappointment of the evening. Two of my fellow Steeler fans had the grilled grouper sandwich which they raved about. They wanted blackened but they were out of the seasoning. (Fried was also an option.) The final Steeler fan in our group had fish tacos. These, however, were not as much of a hit. The fried fish was dry and was almost drowned in sauce. The service was spot on as were the prices. Two meals, a 22oz draft and that ridiculous fishbowl was only $40. Even though our Steelers lost, it was still a great night out! read more

We've been a fan of Three Dollar wings since they opened in other locations all those decades ago. Best tasting wings by far, we feel. But last night's meal was anything but awesome. We ordered through Door Dash and here's our experience. I opened the box containing the wings and thought there must be some mistake. Instead of meaty, large wings, there were these tiny little brittle things. I wondered if I had misread the menu - have they switched from chicken wings to chickadee wings? See photos. These things were tiny. There wasn't a decent bite on any wing we got (12 total). Ridiculous, considering the inflated Door Dash price we paid. We also got buffalo shrimp - no complaints there - they were of normal size and quite tasty. I struggled with how many stars to rate this experience. I settled on two - the meal was tasty enough but hardly a value. Get it together, Three Dollar! We won't be back until you start serving wings that look like they're from a chicken instead of a parakeet. read more

I'm glad this location finally opened. I was impressed with the inside. Great bar feeling with plenty of TV's, ideal for going out solo to watch the games or going out with groups. Plenty of parking as well. I had the mushroom and swiss burger with a side of tots. The burger was cooked to perfection. The tots were your normal tots, so nothing extraordinary. At around $11 the combo was decently priced. The other items on the menu, mostly bar food, were reasonably priced as well. The long island I got was a little on the sweet side and lacked the normal strength that I usually want but it was a good sipper none the less. This is a new location so service was a bit slow. I expect service will get better and better though. Management was very attentive. Might become my new favorite spot in Kennesaw. read more

The hostess didn't even seat us they just pointed at a booth for us to sit at and almost forgot to give us menus. Took almost 15-20min to get our drinks, two out of the three drinks were just water. They seem to be short staffed, but they could do a better job at organizing while short staffed. Service was very poor. And the environment is pretty run down and old, the Covid screen blockers were dirty and looks like they haven't been cleaned. The music they played is also very dated, but I'm assuming it's for a "nostalgic" effect. However the food was not bad at all, I was expecting it it be bad due to the environment and service,but it was pretty good. I went with three friends on 11/19/20. I ordered the "Grouper" sandwich with blackened Grouper. What I received was Tilapia and I my three fishing buddies agreed with my assessment. When I informed the waitress she was a bit snippy. Meanwhile repeated requests to our server for condiments went unheeded so eventually I found a manager and requested our forgotten condiments and also for some warm fries as ours had sat for almost 20 minutes waiting on our condiments. There was no wait. All the servers and hosts were very pleasant. This place is not much to look at. It is a sports bar. However, we asked the waitress what is best and we each ordered her suggestion. I ordered the Buffalo Bleu and my wife ordered the Steak and cheese. Both were very good. The steak fries and onion rings were really good. We were shocked that a sports bar that didn't look that great would have such good food. We both agreed we would definitely return again in the future.
