Tried their new salad Red White and Blueberry. It was delicious and had plenty of protein. I did change the cheese to cheddar but the rest was as advertised with strawberries, chicken, blueberries and pecans with plenty of lettuce. It comes with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing which tasted great but you can change it if you want. Great salad! read more

My favorite item to order is the Italian sandwich (sans some sauces). The service is usually pretty fast and the dining room hasn't been overly crowded when I visited. The food quality for mine has been pretty good but their food is a bit on the pricey side. read more

I like Newk's salads, so this was an easy choice for lunch. I decided to place an order on the Newk's website for takeout. I ordered the full Greek salad $7.59 with salmon $6.79. They give you an option of dry toss or having the dressing tossed in. I opted for dry toss. I also ordered a chicken bacon club for my son $8.79. The site said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later and it was ready. The staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. The food was packaged well. My salmon and my son's sandwich were still warm. The salad looked to be fresh. I tossed the salmon and Greek dressing in my salad immediately after getting it and started eating it while my husband drove the car. The full salad portion was generous and the salmon was a decent size. I ate greedily until my hunger was satiated. There's ongoing construction in this area. This Newk's isn't the most accessible, but hopefully once the construction is finished, it will be. Plenty of parking. read more

Ok - worked out this morning and was jonesing for an awesome freshly made salad. Ordered an Ultimate salad online and added parmesan and avocado along with the crab bisque. All sounded delicious from the description. The app said it would be ready for pickup in 15 minutes. I showed up about 45 minutes later and phoned the store for curbside pickup. They couldn't locate my order and said it wasn't made yet so I waited in the parking lot for another 10 minutes. I circled back home in anticipation of my freshly made salad and much to my surprise the lettuce was rottingly wilted and disgustingly orangey brown. The avocado were brownish black as well. This salad was either obviously pre-made weeks in advance or, theres a blind person with no regard for food safety and freshness working in the kitchen. Extremely disappointed and will not return to this or any other Newks restaurant. Overall a horrible dining experience. Save your money and look elsewhere for fresh food. read more

Second visit last night. First visit was takeout. I really, really like Newk's. The menu is very varied. There is something for everyone. It's a Fast Casual experience. But you can linger. One entrance is for to go orders. One is for dine in. Menu is well laid out. Once you make your decision, you place your order at the counter. They will give you a number that you place at the table of your choice. The condiment bar is amazing. I ordered the Mediterranean Pizza and Caesar salad pick two this time. I had never had either. Both were excellent but you should definitely try the pizza. I have had the mushroom soup there. Loved it. If there is a Newk's near you, you should give it a try. read more

Absolutely love this place. I normally always get the 1/2 and 1/2 so I can have a combination of different menu items. They have different soups on different days. So, I decided to get the lobster and crab bisque and the Newks Club. The soup was not too thick and well seasoned, but I did get a couple shells in my soup which was a hit disappointing. The sandwich is amazing and by far one of my favorites. I always love pairing my sandwich with a small side of pickles and my soup with shredded parmesan and croutons (which they offer at a table bar and you can just go grab what you want). Hubs ordered a whole steak sandwich and a cup of the chicken tortilla soup. I might have to get the chicken tortilla next time because it's one of the best tasting soups I have ever had!the portion size is amazing. We got the cup size soup and clearly as you can see in the picture, it's a bowl!! So, can you imagine ordering a bowl of soup? That bowl is the size of my head!! I finally found my local go to salad place. The salads are loaded with fresh ingredients and flavor. They are also huge so be prepared for that. I am also in love with their roasted garlic and pickles that can be found on the condiment table. I found the soup to be rather delicious although my large size bowl seemed to be filled less than the people next to us and was kind of pricy.They have a rotating selection depending on the day of the week. I do find that you get what you pay for.This seems to be one of those places that is straddling the line between upscale and fast food. Almost like Panera breads fancy cousin. Nope. I don't get it. If my chicken pesto sandwich had been like $6 maybe, just maybe. But no. Not for $10 for the meal. The chicken didn't taste fresh or even close to freshly cooked. Biggest issue.
