Decided to order a pizza for my birthday and wanted to try something other than a major chain. My online search led me to this restaurant, and I ordered an 18 inch pizza, figuring that it would not only be a nice birthday pizza, but also feed me for a couple of days. My experience was extremely disappointing. First, it was clear that no f**ks were given by the kitchen staff because the pie was too large for the box, so they just folded it over so it would fit. This, obviously, is less than ideal, because the toppings stuck to the part of the pizza it was folded over. Not a good start. Then...the taste. Either someone in the kitchen dumped a butt load of salt onto the pizza or the dough was made with too much salt, because all I could taste was SALT. The toppings, when peeled off, were quite edible with no salty taste, so I can only conclude that the pie was either sabotaged in the kitchen or the dough it was made from is garbage. Thank you, Saporitos, for ruining my birthday pie. I will not do business with this restaurant in the future and I recommend that anyone seeking an alternative from the major pizza places avoid this business unless you enjoy a pizza that just tastes like bloody SALT. read more

I was at Saporito's last year and somehow failed to write a review. But not this time. They're just to good! A small in size pizza parlor but they make up for it with big flavor pizzas. We had a big group so we went big with the pizzas and appetizers. lol Large traditional cheese, large pineapple (who ordered that) lol and a large sausage black olives and onions. Delicious sauce, good crust and the tasty toppings were a hit. And the appetizers were the bomb. Breaded and Fried Zucchini sticks disappeared quickly and the bacon and melted cheese fries were amazing. But their garlic knots were the hit of the table. So much butter, Parmesan and garlic you couldn't see the knots! And all paired well with a nice selection of ice cold beers. Don't forget to check the daily dinner specials. Thursday is my favorite. A large pizza for the price of a small (Plenty for leftovers the next day). And I don't know how they do the daily lunch special. All you can eat for 12.99. That's crazy. All that and an awesome server made Saporito's a fun and satisfying experience. read more

Not too bad! I give the pizza a 7.2. It's a good spot for decent pizza. I ordered takeout but seeing the inside I'll probably eat there next time. It seems like a cool little pizza joint with all the Italian decor you'd expect to see in a place like this. read more

Very disappointed. I ordered 2 pies and zeppoli's for delivery for my friends birthday since she said that she loved their pizza. I ordered a spinach, extra cheese and 1/2 the pie with onions but the entire pie was covered in onions so she wasn't able to eat it. She also informed me that the zeppolis tasted old and were chewy with little powdered sugar. I paid extra for extra sugar. The plain pie with extra cheese was supposedly good though. Just a shame that after paying $61 that only one pie was good. Because it was a gift she didn't want to call them and ask them to replace the spinach pie. read more

The restaurant came highly recommended from a friend. So, I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza to go and a dozen wings. Well, I got home (I live in Powder Springs) From Canton it's a 40 minute drive. I got home and flipped the lid on the pizza box and Behold!! I see a Cajun Style Pizza it was BLACKENED!! It is a little hole in the wall in a strip mall. It's clean and quaint. Although short-staffed, they were on top of our online order (you save 5% using the Slice app). Don't let the time on the app worry you. Although it said our order would be ready in an hour, they acknowledged the order as soon as it came up. They paced the apps and meal perfectly and didn't make us feel rushed. My husband, originally from the northeast, ordered the Mussels with red sauce said they were just like home: huge and tasty. My salad was basic but the housemade vinegarette was outstanding. My slice brought on nostalgia of my favorite pizzeria in NYC. Our daughter enjoyed her wings. The complimentary garlic knots were excellent, and enough seasoned garlic butter for dipping your pizza crust into as well. Their pizza has a nice thin crust and available by the slice. Good selection of toppings and they were flavorful and generous. I also had a medium garden salad, which was okay, but very large pieces that were challenging to eat. The ranch dressing had a good flavor. I may go for the Greek salad next time. Service excellent and the attentive staff proactively kept drinks refilled. We will definitely be back. read more

We came in for the first time on Saturday evening off of a recommendation from friends on Facebook. We weren't disappointed! We started our meal with the complimentary garlic knots, which were in the most amazing garlic butter. I highly recommend keeping that butter to dip your pizza crust in, as it is THAT good. Then, we noted that they had half priced appetizers on Saturday nights (there are different deals every night, so be sure to check them out!). Let me just tell y'all.... We got an order of cheese fries that could've fed at LEAST four seriously hungry people. They were so good. The only thing they were missing was a little ranch, but nobody came back to ask if we needed anything else until our food came. No big deal though! They were great on their own too. Our pizza came and it was very unique! We ordered the Smokehouse pizza with grilled chicken, bacon, fried onions, and BBQ sauce. My only complaint there was SO much bbq sauce and it was a little spicy, so we ended up scraping most all of it off onto another plate. We would certainly order again and just ask for light sauce! The crust is something to write home about though y'all... I'm a big pizza foodie and I'm very particular, but I can tell you, this is one of my most favorite crusts to a pizza I've ever had! As we were walking out we saw some pepperoni pizzas and chicken wings that smelled divine, so we will be trying those in the future as well! The inside of the building is beautiful and well planned out. The booths are also big enough to be comfortable, which we appreciated. They bring out complimentary fresh garlic knots when you arrive which were delicious and a nice surprise. We ordered a large pizza and it was hot, fresh and delicious. Service was fine. Everyone working was very kind but it was a bit slow on refills and we didn't have enough silverware. But overall not huge issues. I thought I reviewed this restaurant already. THIS IS MY FAVORITE ITALIAN PLACE period. The pizza is great, I have had all toppings except eggplant broccoli or mushrooms. I'm sure they're great as well though. Garlic cheese bread is great! Order extra meat sauce to make it great. To my surprise the chicken wings are GREAT. And I mean great!!!? Our go-to place for a quick dinner on grocery shopping night. LOL. I get pizza by the slice and my wife gets wings. Never any complaints. We also get a salad each. Salads are always fresh. Oh, and always look forward to the complimentary garlic knots appetizer. Dangerously good! Service is good as we are always greeted when walking in. They are quick to take your order. Doesn't look like much but it's a nice place & has good food! My personal favorites are their salads, either the Caesar, the Greek or the antipasto. As far as pizza, I usually stick to pepperoni, something simple but good from here. I tend to like other styles of pizza and more sophisticated options but it still is good here. The only issue I have is the service is sometimes horrible.. I once was with a a group and we were the only people in the restaurant and all of the staff stood behind the counter with their backs to us and on their phones. We had to go up to the counter to tell them we wanted to order even though it's a traditional service restaurant. The Caesar salad with chicken is probably my go to and it's nice that they give you complimentary garlic knots which are really delish. Worth a trip! read more

This place is a place that can be added to the list of great pizza places! It's got that authentic NYC feel and the service is great! I've only their cheese pizza but I thought the slices were generous and it had just enough grease to drip down your chin and the crust was thin enough to fold together and crunchy enough to give you a tiny crunch! Its good eats! I've had their chicken parmesan and it was pretty good. Not as good as their pizza but good. It's a place I'll be coming back to over and over again. We are on a quest to try many local places. Because my husband is a native New Englander, he loves New York pizza. Saporito's is the place. Pizza is perfect thickness and plenty of cheese and toppings. Good sauce with a hint of spicy flavor. Ordering is a little confusing for us newbies but food is worth it. I had a garden salad that was very fresh, crisp and cold. Whatever ranch dressing they are using is really really good. It was full of herb flavor. Service is average and could be better. They sat us down & served some of the best food & gratitude we have had @ a place that was prepping for closing. When you enter you're not sure if you need to wait to be seated or if you may seat yourself. We entered very early on a week night, about 5:15 and there were 2 other customers. When we were seated the server was very nice. They seem a little understaffed. Our server was answering phones, serving, ringing people out and helping with food which I guess is what needs to happen in a small business. Pizza was good. Crust is a little lack luster but not bad. A 14 inch meat will cost you about 16 bucks. They appear to have delivery as well. To be honest Holly Springs has nothing that is close to NY pizza so they should do well. Some specials or coupons would help. read more

Usually love the pizzas. Ordered Friday March 20. Said 45 mins. Ended up being over 1.5 hours. It was obvious the pizza was made a lengthy time before delivering. Cold and dough was gooey but the taste was still great! I updated the review stars because I do understand the impact of everything going on. I was at a friends house and they are the ones who placed the order for all of us so I left it to them to make that call. I think we are all understanding of the situation, especially for businesses like yours. I plan on continuing to order from you guys and especially during this time. The Stromboli dough was not cooked all the way through . The garlic knots are never cooked all the way through. The spinach lasagna was good with the meat sauce. The manager does not seem to care if his servers are even any good. There is one server that we have gotten 4 times and she truly needs to take her job seriously. This server is on a rush to get your order but not listen to the customer when they speak. The other server with the blonde hair is a great server. I wish the cook would cook the dough all the way through in his garlic breads, garlic knots and Stromboli. If the manager would take the time to speak with his servers about the importance of service it would be beneficial to all. This server has been deficient in her job on multiple occasions. It's sad that the servers and the rest of the team split their tips . This results is having poor tips from poor service which affects the rest of the team members that split tips. I love this place, but the only reason I rated a 3 is because they do not cook their wings long enough. I literally gag when I eat a wing and can taste the soft skin. If I wanted baked chicken, I would get that. We all know wings are suppose to be crispy crunchy, even when they are wet with a sauce. The kids wouldn't even eat them.
