We LOVE Cava!!! It's fresh! Delicious! Lots of variety with gluten free, dairy free, vegan and grain free options! Get a salad, a rice bowl or they even have smart rice made from chickpeas. The drinks are handcrafted and also yummy! This is a dine in or outside quick fast meal place. Not a ton of seating inside so big groups would need to be outside but still a great place for lunch or dinner! Service is great everyone is usually very nice, friendly and answers all our questions. My only complaint because we do go often is some of the things like the roasted veggies and potatoes get really done like charred. This is not an issue at other locations so maybe a little more quality control because this place is too great not to be perfect! read more

This was my first time visiting this CAVA, and I have to say the three gentlemen working the night shift absolutely made my experience. They went above and beyond--letting me sample different dips and sauces so I could find my favorites, and even providing a few courtesy items that made my meal even better. They were friendly, welcoming, and clearly cared about making customers feel appreciated. It's rare to see this level of service these days, especially late at night, and it definitely left a lasting impression. This is a great location, and these guys deserve recognition--and a raise--for the way they represent the brand. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

This is the newest location, taking over where Zoe's left off, maybe second time is the charm. Set up like a Moe's or Chipotle, you've got a great choice of made to order Mediterranean bowls and wraps. The falafel are a little small, but done well. Black lentils are tiny, looking more like caviar than lentils, but were decent. All the food was fresh, missing some flavor. Service was great, portions are great. Why did it take me so long?! I have a friend has been on Team Cava for a couple of years now, having gone several times when working in the DC area. Since they started to sprout up in metro Atlanta, I have been telling myself I've got to check it out. One magical day in mid-April, it finally happened. My husband and I got bowls, I got falafel and I believe he got lamb. Is that a choice? He would tell you he's not a big fan of Mediterranean food, but he loved it. The garlicky feta - girl, I had to get double. And the smoked eggplant couldn't be ignored. Everything looked and tasted so fresh & flavorful, I was sad when I couldn't eat another bite. I mixed a couple of their lemonades and found the combination so refreshing. I whole-heartedly look forward to going back. read more

It's good. I like the Moes style but with Mediterranean food. Do I think it's healthy? Not as much as it should be. It's a sodium bomb. I felt really great about eating there only to check nutrition info after and find the salt was 4 days worth and the protein was minimum. The bases are good, even the right rice. The mains are tasty. Last fall, we tried the Cava in Kennesaw and were pretty underwhelmed, so when this Cava replaced the former Zoe's Kitchen here in Woodstock a few months later, we took our time before checking it out. Well, we quickly realized that we had ignored this restaurant for way too long. Even though we've now ordered here several times, the options in person can be overwhelming, so I prefer ordering on the app. I also recommend custom building your food. Cava has the opposite problem of many restaurants -- many of their recommended combinations are too flavorful and need to be scaled back. My favorite food combination is starting with either a Grains Bowl with the Saffron Basmati Rice or a Grains and Greens Bowl with Arugula and Saffron Basmati Rice and topping both with Tzatziki and Traditional Hummus. (Order the rice if you think you may have leftovers so it reheats well.) Yes, it's an up charge, but you have to get the Braised Lamb -- so, so delicious. Then, I typically select the Fire Roasted Corn, Salt-Brined Pickles, Tomato + Onion, and Crumbled Feta. When it comes to Dressings, order either "light" or "on the side" as this is where the flavor can become overpowering. The Garlic Dressing and Greek Vinaigrette are my favorite options here. Don't forget the free side of Pita. I think the meals deliver a pretty good value but Cava loses me with the drinks. Charging $3 for a fountain drink and $2.50 for a Spindrift can feels pretty silly. Note that the kid's options are limited, especially if your kid is not an adventurous diner. (The kid's meal is just petite portion sizes of the adult food.) Unfortunately, my chicken-nugget-and-plain-hamburger-loving-daughter won't likely enjoy Cava for many years to come. The inside dining space is pretty limited, especially as it can get very busy even at off-times, but I'm looking forward to the spacious covered patio as the weather begins to cool. read more

My first time at Cava was disappointing. I had an early lunch - I ordered Falafel Crunch bowl. Nothing was crunchy in this bowl. The falafel was soggy and must have been leftover from yesterday (the store had just opened, felafel was not fresh). The crispy strips were also soggy and tough to chew. All for the price of $11.15. Since lettuce doesn't tend to keep well into the next day, I did eat all of that. Decided to the try the new Cava on Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock after months of seeing ads on Facebook about Cava. Before you go here, take a good look at the website at www.cava.com, paying attention to photos of their delectable bowls. One thing you'll notice right away are the two scoops of spreads that come with your bowl (or the spreads you choose when you build a bowl from scratch). They're right on top so you can smear them on the included side pita, so you'd think they'd be put on last. Nope. At this location, the workstation is configured such that you get your base of greens/grains/both first (which would be correct), then the spread scoops (incorrect), toppings, then whichever dressings. Whoever designed this layout was obviously an idiot because the spread scoops should go on last. I ordered a bowl with half brown rice and half black lentils, tzatziki and eggplant spreads, sweet potatoes, and roasted vegetables, plus the additional accoutrements like pickled onions, cucumbers, etc. To start with, I couldn't help but notice how small the caviar-like black lentils were. That's because they weren't cooked enough. Of course I found that out when I got my first bite of them. Secondly, the total amount of grains in my bowl counting the brown rice AND lentils was about a quarter to a third of a cup - hardly what I'd call a grain bowl. The employee building our bowls asked which spread scoops I desired, both of which he plopped opposite of each other right on top of the grains. somewhat off to the side. I immediately thought "Hmm, this isn't like the photo on the menu board above". Then he added the rest of the toppings, completely burying the spreads. The bowl was about halfway full when he was finished - see my photo. Keep in mind that this bowl is $10.95 without adding any premium toppings, like avocado. Eating this was interesting. The scoops of spread were no longer, completely dissipating into the other toppings and grains. I was able to salvage about a teaspoon of the eggplant to smear on my pita, but the rest was gone. My wife had the same problem with her tzatziki and hummus on the Greek Salad bowl she ordered, with both scoops now coating the lettuce in her salad. It turns out that the brown rice in my bowl was as undercooked as the lentils and chewing this was more of a chore than a pleasure. The sweet potatoes were also not cooked enough and were very crunchy. It was a horrible meal that I was unable to finish - and I'm fat, which means I clean my plate (Noom would say this is my parents' fault, but...). I decided to ask for a manager and mention the disordered build of my bowl as well as the uncooked items in it. I was presented with the manager on duty, a young lady of about 19 or 20 (if that). When I explained how the spread scoops should've been added last and why, she first blamed her GM and said that was the way they were trained, then she said it "is a corporate thing" (um, menu photos?), and then she said they actually lay the items out in a "V" shape. WHAT??? She offered to make another bowl for me, but I refused (no thanks - let's let this soon-to-be intestinal blockage come out first). She also told me that in the future, ask them to put the scoops on last. No, build the damn bowls like they are in the menu photos, kid. For upwards of $30.00 for both my wife and I, I can easily say we won't be back. She can get a great Greek salad at a fair number of places in Cherokee County. As for me, I'll just keep making my own bowls when the mood strikes or drive to Jerusalem Bakery. I give this Cava about a year and the ONLY reason why is because they are in a shopping center with a Sprouts where the vegans go. They'd probably love the food. I would've too, had it been cooked completely and the bowl built as advertised. Clearly, the franchise owner needs to take a hard look at the employee training and perhaps the layout of their assembly line, because undercooked, poorly-assembled food that looks NOTHING like photos will keep people from returning. read more

I wish I could remember names, but really every person I've interacted with has been very kind and attentive, made great conversations, even during the most recent time when my friend and I went in about 30-45 mins before close. Working food service at night is HARD y'all, but they made it look very easy and were happy to help, which is quite commendable.
