We usually enjoy visiting CAVA, but this particular location needs more attention when it comes to service quality and cleanliness. The staff seemed rushed, and the overall service felt sloppy and disorganized. Of all the CAVA locations we've visited, this one would benefit the most from additional training and a bit more care in how the food is handled. For example, the server slid the wrapped pita across the counter so quickly that it actually fell off. The ingredient selection process felt rushed, and when ingredients were ladled onto the pita, sauce dripped everywhere, leaving the wrapper wet and messy. By the time we were ready to eat, the pita was soaked and the wrapper noticeably damp, which made the meal unappealing. Small details in food handling and presentation make a big difference, and unfortunately, this experience fell short. We also had to wait significantly longer for the shawarma bowl. No one mentioned an expected wait time--we assumed it would be no more than five minutes. Ten minutes passed, and our entire group had already finished eating, yet the bowl still hadn't arrived. When we checked in, we were simply told it was "coming out." The team eventually pulled together to finish the bowl with extra urgency, but the delay had already impacted the experience. We hope management can address these issues, as CAVA typically delivers great food and service--but this location did not meet those expectations during our visit. read more

If you suffer from decision paralysis like I do - go with the predesigned bowls and pitas. You seriously cant go wrong. The employees are quite patient with me while I figure out what I want to add in or take away which I greatly appreciate. Now that I have been a few times I want to branch out but the comfort of having that predesigned meal on the board definitely helps as a fall back. The restaurant is typically clean. When it's busy it can get really loud and there is not a lot of seating. But its a good place for a quick meal with fresh food. read more

I like the concept of no lines, no waiting to order your food! You MUST download the CAVA app - the one with yellow letters, to order your food then have a seat until your name is called. Atmosphere: Very clean - from the entrance to the patio area. Resembles a Cafe vibe. Customer Service: Outstanding! They are not the same as the free side pita. It was amazing!!!!! All of the food was fresh. My bowl was delicious and was everything I needed it to be! I always start with lentils in the bottom of the bowl. Add super greens. Eggplant, harissa and red pepper hummus. 1/2 roasted veggie, 1/2 white sweet potatoes. Paid extra for full order of falafels. Topped with a bunch of goodness! I always get my sauces on the side, garlic and harissa. So yummy! Cucumber mint lime is my go to beverage. read more

CAVA is definitely the superior "bowl place" by FAR! My go-to is the Greek Salad, and a side order of pita chips which are the best. The Strawberry Citrus Lemonade is definitely the best beverage. The employees at this location aren't the best, so that's why I gave 4 instead of 5 but it's worth it for the phenomenal food. read more

I heard from co workers that cava is good.decided to give it a try! I was excited to see that they had cuztomizable options and a good selection to choose. I ordered a custom bowl with half lettuce half black lentil base. Half chicken half falafel. And all their toppings. One thing I love is a place that offers various Condiments which they have. Unfortunately, the order I got was missing the half portion of falafel. The lentil was extremely salty and overpowered everything else. So the whole bowl was unbalanced. Not much salad, chicken was tender though. The sauces were good but because the above, everything is just bland in comparison. I don't think this necessarily means I'll never have cava again though. This is my favorite of the salad bowl places in the vicinity. The food is fresh, you can substitute anything in-and-out, and the staff have always been friendly (although I did witness some great examples of "special" customer behavior and all of the staff incl management held their cool for problems that weren't problems). Big kudos - not everyone can handle that level of crazy. Funny enough - my only complaint is that there is very little seating for more than 2 people and the tables are bolted to the floor. My dad, complained about the lack of salt shakers/packets (although I personally think he's nuts for even thinking the food needed extra salt) For newbies - try the crazy feta. This new location of CAVA opened a week ago. They offer healthy options with a Mediterranean style. You can select a chef-curated bowl or build your own with a base of greens, grains or both. They also have pita wraps and kids meals. There is a great selection different greens / green mixes as well as grains for a base to build on. You can choose from six different proteins and then enhance your bowl with up to 3 dips/spreads and 15 different toppings before topping it off with a choice of 8 dressings. We had greens & grains bowls with roasted veggies & chicken on one and spicy lamb meatballs & Harissa honey chicken on the other. We customized each to our liking with dips, toppings & dressings. The results were fantastic! We were very satisfied with our bowls and will definitely be regular customers. Overall, the concept is similar to other "build your own" fast casual concepts like Mexican focused Chipotle or Willy's but the bold flavors that CAVA brings puts it at the front of the pack. read more

Food is tasty, fresh and can be pretty healthy. The housemade drinks are good (cucumber mint lime is my jam!) and the sauces are legit delish. Why 3 stars? They are so skimpy on servings - tiniest bit of arugula, tiniest bit of babaganouj. Seems like 2 ounces of meat (4oz I'd understand and would also understand if they ran out of food every night, but every time I've been in there it's coming out of the back nonstop and they seem to have plenty). I ordered 2 pitas (lamb & falafel) online at 6:08. When I arrived at the store and saw a long line of several people, I thought to myself, 'I'm glad I ordered ahead!' - but then the entire line went through, and then even a few others who had arrived after me, before I finally got my order at 6:45. On the other hand, I saw another review from last month that said they waited an hour for their online order, so maybe 40 minutes is technically an improvement. But why even bother with offering online ordering if it's going to be slower than just coming in & waiting? Still, maybe the food will end up being worth the wait, I tell myself. Their bags do say 'the proof is in the pita', after all. However, when I get home, I notice the lamb meatballs are pink inside. I know that lamb chops can be eaten rare, but this is ground meat, and it was concerning enough that I threw half of it out rather than risk eating more. The falafel wasn't awful, but I've definitely had way better from authentic Mediterranean places. Disappointing first impression & overall experience, and I doubt I'll try coming back. The only reason it's 2 stars instead of 1 is because someone eventually offered me a drink for my wait, and the falafel pita was of acceptable taste & size. Cava is a build-your-own mediterranean chain similar to Chipotle. This is a new location that opened up in East Cobb. There are a lot of different choices of grains, greens, meat, toppings, humuses, and sauces. I haven't tried all of them, but of the ones I've tried they've all tasted fresh and great. At least for this specific location, the wait time has been kind of long. I've done online orders a couple of times, and they've never been ready when I've arrived at the store (long after the expected pick-up time). Usually, you have to tell the person in the kitchen you're here for an online order and then they start making the order. Sometimes this takes a long time because there's a huge line of online order pick ups (sometimes I've waited is 30+ mins). They've always been nice and apologetic, my guess is that the kitchen is just understaffed with making orders and preparing ingredients? Either way, more staffing or fixing online system would make this an ever more popular joint in the neighborhood. read more

Tonight I ordered at 6:55pm I was told in the app that the order would be ready at 7pm. After over an hour, my husband was still at the store waiting for the order to be made... I understand that this location is new but I will drive 30min to another location that is dependable before ever stepping foot in this location again. The store was behind with 25 online orders, and he was left waiting in store with no real explanation and zero compensation or sense of urgency to rectify the situation. How can you let people wait an hour and then not offer a coupon, discount or anything?! If the location was not ready to open or not properly staffed it should close until people are trained and they can handle taking orders. And if you are going to stay open, at least enhance the focus on customer service/satisfaction throughout the process. We waited excitedly for this location to open, and with it being such a frustrating experience tonight I want to at least warn other patrons in East Cobb that for the immediate future they know what to expect. Update: Changing 1 star to 3 stars as Cava Corporate reached today to offer an apology and financial compensated for the meal last night. I am very happy with their fast-acting customer service at the HQ level. read more

The food was delicious, but the rather short line took a rather long time to get through. By the time we finished, the line was extremely long. The food is worth it if you aren't in a rush. I got probably the spiciest burrito I could've ordered, and it was a great level of spice. The juices are good too and worth the price. Came to this restaurant for the first time after my workout. The bowls here are great! They have healthy vegetables like spinach, and fresh chicken right in front of you.
