They have a small parking lot behind the store, I drove past it and had to come back around but found it and easily found parking in the middle of the day. Inside is lovely and clean with earthy decor and some toys for children by the restrooms. They also have a portable changing table available on request. I sat outside on the patio and they put a fan on me since it was warm. Lovely seats on the lawn shaded by a large tree as well as some deck seating. They have a large menu loaded with goodies. I found about 5-6 things I actually wanted at once but settled not he Veggie bowl and added chicken sausage. My bowl had sweet potato hash, cheese, kale, red peppers, red onion and mushrooms sautéed, topped with two eggs and my added chicken. It was a huge portion and it was really delicious. Perfectly cooked and healthy and loaded - the hash was phenomenal. My waitress was the sweetest and I really just enjoyed a lovely quiet lunch with the patio entirely to myself on a lovely summer afternoon. Couldn't have been better. read more

I visited this restaurant inside of a cute cozy house built from the 1930's . They offer wraps, salads , hot bowls , burgers, coffee, juices, pancakes and not to mention their avocado nachos . They were out of this world delicious!! The owner had everyone in mind when it came to the food. There's a drink menu for kids and even something for the dogs . I ordered the coconut curry salmon . It was good . It lacked flavor, but I appreciated it for not being overly salty. My favorite meal was the avocado nachos. I have thought of them since my first time eating them. It is one of the most popular dishes on the menu. Ask long as it's offered I will always order it . The parking was a bit tight behind the house . When I arrived , I was very lucky to get the last spot . However , I noticed other patrons were parking next to the Root Canal office . It was an open area that appeared to be a makeshift parking area. There was outdoor seating, by which I saw quite a few people seating there . It looked cozy and no one seemed uncomfortable. As it was my first time there. I elected to eat inside. It wasn't a bad experience, but the home is very small . I can imagine it being congested . But I was there early on a Sunday . The food was good here & I enjoyed my matcha latte but I wasn't wow'd by anything in particular The food was ~$22 for entree and drink and I get that it's supposed to be very clean eating but it just felt like something I could've whipped up at home for much less but the ambiance was nice and service was fine. I ordered a bowl that had hash browns, egg, avocado, bacon and some micro greens. I didn't feel heavy after at all which is part of the point. Good for a January clean breakfast The parking is not the best. I parked across the street in front of the white house in the tiny lot but it was raining. Their lot was small and full already and really hard to get out of if you drive in the tiny driveway and there isn't a spot for you so beware. They do have a mirror to help you see It's a cute spot that is recommend going to for a small meal that'll have you feeling healthy after with your girlfriends for breakfast. I really enjoyed this place if you're looking for a healthier place to dine. Met my family here for breakfast and we sat outside. I will warn you though that it did get very buggy the longer we sat outside so keep that in mind. Our server was lovely, though service was a bit slow at times. I ordered a decaf latte with oat milk and to eat, the avocado bacon bowl with a side of their seasonal pancakes, which at that time was peaches and cream. The eggs in the bowl were fluffy though needed a little bit of salt, the cheese and bacon it came with helped with flavor. The peaches and cream on the pancake wasn't too sweet but it was served with a side of syrup. I did find it a bit too dry but perhaps because it was gluten free. They did forget to add extra sausage in my husband's bowl but didn't realize this after we were done paying. If you want light food and have nutrition in mind this is a good place for you. I tried the iced mint match latte, honey hot chicken sandwich, sweet potato hash and the egg roll in a bowl. My favorite was the matcha and the sandwich. I removed the onions. But the addition of blue cheese along with the size and soft brioche bun made the chicken sandwich great. The inside is small but cozy and quiet. The staff's warm helpful demeanors match the mood. They are open until 9:00pm which is not a time you can usually get a great cafe drink. That is such a plus. I'll be back when I am in the area to read health books and try more. The parking lot is a little tricky and small so be cautious when driving in and out. read more

We were doing some vintage shopping at the Square and I saw this place on yelp and wanted to give it a try since they had some healthy options. Five star experience once inside, but taking a star off for parking. As it's unclear where to park and the tiny lot behind the restaurant was full and impossible to even turn around. Once inside, we kicked off with a broth. It was cold and rainy out and we both had a little bit of allergies so the broth was a perfect starter. She got the regular and I got the one with added veggies and ginger and it was way too much ginger. I would stick with the regular broth next time. The hash was delicious and my friend really enjoyed what she ordered. We got a date latte to go. I'd definitely stop back in based on the menu and healthy options they offer. Love how fresh this food is! They have a great variety of healthy food options ranging from breakfast all the way to dinner. It's super cute out front with a deck and patio to enjoy. Fresh. Unique. Soothing. What an amazing little restaurant! I had so much fun looking over the menu. It's a fairly simple menu, but it comes with so many unique options and choices. Everything about Good Kitchen + Market is fresh. Not only is their entire menu full of words like "homemade", "grass-fed", or "freshly squeezed"... but their ideas are extremely fresh as well. The first thing we tried was the Butternut Squash Gruyere Dip. I would come back just for this seasonal appetizer! It was THE highlight. It was paired with perfectly roasted veggies for dipping: Brussel's sprouts, sweet potatoes, and (my favorite) mushrooms. When it came out for me and my party of 3, we were amazed at how much food it was for an appetizer... 100% worth it! My main course was delicious! I got the grass-fed smash burger with the sweet potato hash. The smash burger was put together with two 4oz grass-fed beef patties, topped with your choice of cheese, and it came with the fixin's. The bun was a beautiful, big, soft brioche bun... yum! The sweet potato hash was crispy, salty, and sweet, and it wayyyy way exceeded my expectations by the simplicity of it. The atmosphere and the environment and the culture that they've created is so soothing. The service of our waitress- paired with the warm welcome and fond farewell by the entire staff- played a huge part in this experience. They are all so sweet and friendly. Driving through Atlanta we are always looking for clean and local restaurants. We were a bit worried that we were headed in the wrong direction, but we followed gps and made it to a cute little house near the hospital where this restaurant is. The menu had a great variety which was nice. My husband had a breakfast bowl and pancakes and I had the egg roll in a bowl. Everything was delicious! We also had a lavender matcha and raspberry lime mimosa from their seasonal menu. We sat outside in June which was surprisingly pleasant. They brought a table fan to keep flies away and also had fans on the patio for a nice breeze. Our server was great and very helpful with the menu for our 1st visit. My 9 year old wasn't impressed which is partially because we don't always eat this clean and he would live off of fast food despite us rarely obliging. But he had also just had ham and cheese roll ups at his baseball game and wasn't overly hungry either. I will say, had he been hungry, the kids meal would NOT have been enough to fill him up. We've been coming here for a while and it's consistently delicious. Just tried their seasonal lemon Rosemary salad with grilled chicken and it was SO good. Please keep that on the menu permanently! I would get it every time! The waitresses are always very friendly and everyone has always been patient and helpful checking ingredients for me and confirming items are safe to eat with my various food allergies. The service was fast and efficient, and our server was great! And they serve breakfast all day! My friend got the veggie breakfast bowl. It was fresh and colorful and she really enjoyed it. I got a piece of avocado toast (so good!!), scrambled eggs (light and fluffy), and sweet potato hash (why have I never had this before?). Good place for a certain kind of person, I imagine, but not for others. It's pretty expensive (our dinner for two was $60 walking out the door), but the food is good; generous portion sizes. They're gracious about customizing the food for various dietary needs. My server was very pleasant, though he seemed to be waiting numerous tables, so his energies were split. Decor is a bit spare, but intentionally so; lots of green colors and branding. Tables inside are pretty close together, so don't come if you want to have an intimate conversation. Lots more seating outside. They have shelves of books and simply Cracker Barrel-like toys for small children. They have a changing table they can set up. Bathrooms are gender-specific single-seaters. Parking is fairly available. They have a few spaces in the back, and there's a dirt/gravel lot across the way. But it wouldn't surprise me if that was full at peak times and you needed to park somewhere else and hoof your way in. I daresay it's a place that's very typical of downtown Marietta: classy food, diverse people, "good, clean" food, good taste, higher price. If you go, hope you enjoy. read more

This was my first stop in GA, and it was highly recommended by a lot of my friends. The restaurant had such a cute and cozy touch to it, and I loved the rustic wooden look on the inside. The drinks were super pretty with the art on top, and I loved that they had seasonal drinks as well as fresh presses/juice shots. I could tell how much effort they put into their ingredients because every bite I had with my entrees were so refreshing. I felt like my whole soul was getting revitalized. Inside was cute; one side was more of a coffee shop and the other side was a more of a sit down restaurant. Loaded avocado toast was great. Hash brown didn't really have any flavor and were drenched in oil (not worth the $4 side). My friend loved the veggie breakfast bowl. It was not the cheapest place but mostly worth it for the ingredients used. Vegans -- their normal sweetener for the green tea has honey so if you ask they will bring you monk fruit sweetener. Also everything is fried in clarified butter but will switch everything to olive oil if you ask. They have an entire page of vegetarian/vegan plates on their menu. read more

I learned of The Good Kitchen in Smyrna Vinings Lifestyle magazine. My wife was aware of it for a while. We tried it after church today for brunch. It's a small spot. We made reservations and were seated immediately when we arrived. The waitress, Brianna, was excellent. I was impressed with the menu. The options are so plentiful and healthy. Parking is limited but decent. The bone broth was an excellent starter. You won't find this everywhere at restaurants. This is old school and so awesome. The Coconut Curry with Salmon was my entree. It was awesome but I would've loved a larger piece of salmon. The grits were watery. I would've loved a thicker consistency. I didn't see a dessert menu. read more
