Nashville Wrap

Came across this local spot. Food was amazing service was friendly. Just a great spot for breakfast and lunch. The Nashville Breakfast was great. They have a good selection of food.

Tourist Trap, however food was good. I wouldn't call it as an "award winner" which I'm sure it won an award, but i've had chicken sandwiches and this was no different, like popeye's, chik fil A, etc... It was basic breaded chicken with a thinly sprinkled layer of cabbage (they called it a slaw) and 4 teeny tiny pickles served with either hand cut fries, like in n out but thicker $14...flavor was good i have to admit. Hubby got a salad with grilled chicken. My SIL got the hot chicken she said it was just ok. The place was small and you belly up to the counter to order and they give you a number and they bring you the food. This place is local and I like to support local business. BUT, charging $2 for bottled water, cuz they don't offer filtered tap water is just kinda wrong. And put me in a mood and side eyeing the soda dispenser. So, I cant recommended but for the price we paid, I think I would have gone to a real, sit down, full service, and bottomless refills on drinks. Even Denny's or other local diners will give you a basket of teas with unlimited hot water I didn't ask, but i'm sure they'll give you unlimited hot water for your tea. I shouldve asked for hot water and poured it over ice. I really felt the Allegiant airlines vibe in this place. PRos--good lunch chicken, great tasting fried apples not as mushy as cracker barrel Cons-- overpriced, no courtesy water

Stopped by for lunch and got their fried chicken and french toast and their fried chicken sandwich. Both meals were around $16 each. Overall, the chicken breading was thin and unseasoned for both dishes. The fried chicken and french toast: The batter of the chicken is not super crispy or thick. It's the thinner kind and we felt our fried chicken was underseasoned (maybe so that people can add their sauce/salt to preference). Mine came with syrup and apples, so I thought they underseasoned the chicken on purpose to compliment that at first but the sandwich chicken was the same. The french toast was soft and chewy. The apples were a nice touch, but the meal left more to be desired. The fried chicken sandwiches chicken was also on the plain side though. There wasn't that much cole slaw and it's flavor profile was very simple. It came with fries, which was nice. Overall, we had an okay experience but didn't think there was something flavor or texture wise that really stood out for fried chicken. It wasnt savory or crispy, but rather plain with thin batter. They had some cool soda and drink options that we didnt try. It's an order at the counter and food comes to your table set up. You can grab napkins on your own. Casual spot. Ordering was easy and the workers were nice. The food came out relatively quickly. Maybe 10 minutes. Parked in a lot down the street for $10 for the day.

Always a great spot to grab lunch. You can't go wrong with anything you try here. I've been dining here for almost a decade. I've enjoyed everything from the fried chicken with French toast to the my go to Nashville hot chicken wrap. Heck I even stop by just to grab a few of their fresh made daily YUGE chocolate chip cookies . I can't get enough of these cookies. Also my coworker and I enjoy their unique fountain drink machine. The customer service here is on point and very friendly, every time I pay them a visit. Make this spot your next lunch visit.

BLT and Grits

I wanted a water cup, but they only had bottled water. This is the only place I've been where they don't have water on tap with the soda foundation. I ended up getting an unsweetened tea for $4.00 which is overpriced. I got the BLT and grits which were good but nothing amazing. Also, no prices listed for drinks. I don't like when businesses do this. There should be price transparency. I wouldn't go here again and tbh wouldn't necessarily recommend.

Bacon egg and cheese biscuit Potatoes Iced vanilla latte

I picked this place for brunch and didn't realize it was owned by the same people that own base camp at Kennesaw Mountain but I loved this location more! The food was better but I'll admit vibes are better at base camp. It's fast casual which is great and they were super accommodating with our large group which I greatly appreciate. I got a similar meal from base camp so vanilla latte and a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and idk it was just better here! My iced latte was too sweet and the biscuit was delicious. Great spot in the square for some simple and easy breakfast!

Another great meal! Great day to sit outside and enjoy the fall weather. The Nashville Hot Breakfast was excellent and the grits were fantastic. My wife loved the grilled chicken(fais it tasted like fried chicken. Staff was duper friendly!

I got the North Georgia salad with fried Chicken. Delicious the dressing was so good.

We are visiting for Easter holiday and stopped by the Marietta Square for lunch. We enjoyed the lunch with our grandson. The soda fountain had great flavors. Nice atmosphere. We will definitely come back to try something else on the menu.

The Square Sunrise

The biscuits and gravy literally taste like the ones my grandmother used to make, and the fried chicken is delicious. The staff were all welcoming and professional. Would definitely come back.

Blue Devil Salad

A local fave in Marietta! You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. It's a small establishment so it's very homy feeling. The food came out super quick and we thought it was very tasty. The kids devoured their Nashville hot chicken. It was big enough to share. They also give you a TON of fries. The Blue Devil Salad was refreshing and hit the spot. I opted for grilled chicken instead of fried. They serve Stubborn sodas- that was a pleasant surprise. FYI- The bathroom is for customers only and you need a code. Parking can be a bit difficult, but we were able to snag spot a couple blocks down. Highly recommend!

I've been on the Marietta square and I've always passed this place but I've never been. Yesterday I was scrolling on TikTok and saw a young lady do a review. I highly recommend The Marietta local. From the moment we walked in the staff was nice and welcoming. When you first come in you can take a look at the menu if it's your first time then you can order when you are ready. After the order is placed they will be ting the food to you. The seating is open. You can choose inside or outside. The place is also lined with local art as well. I had the fried chicken and French toast. It was soooo good. I am definitely eating that again. The French toast was cut to perfection and the chicken was fried to perfection. Everything was literally made to order. The apples were even good. My partner order the breakfast skillet and it was good as well. I even loved the sweet tea. My only thing I wished the biscuit we ordered was a little more warm. Over all I highly recommend. The parking is free in the square. We did not have an issue because we went early on Sunday.

I did order a plethora of sauces since I'm a sauce girly. My favorite sauce had to be the dark beer mustard and the BBQ Ranch (this was really surprising for me but the dill in the ranch took the cake for me)... but honorable mentions go out to the garlic aioli, smoked paprika aioli. Our food on both days of our visit to Marietta were very good. If the southern eggs Benedict are available on their specials board, have at it! The Red Eyed Mule has been consistently recommended as a top-tier place to get a biscuit in the greater Atlanta area, so I figured I'd finally give it a go. I got the spicy chicken biscuit, along with another biscuit on the side with some cheesy scrambled eggs and a side of country sausage to build my own SEC biscuit. First of all, the biscuits are HUGE. They're the ultra-soft, buttery, pull-apart-but-not-in-a-flaky-way type biscuits, which I enjoy. The spicy fried chicken was good on its own, but nothing outstanding. The country sausage was good, too. Don't get me wrong--I liked everything I tried. That being said, I didn't find them to be anything that had a "wow" factor, so I am glad I ended up trying multiple items just in case I was underwhelmed. I overheard a local in line talking about their corned beef hash, which he said was not your typical dish straight out of a can and onto the flat top, which, for the record, I have no problem with. But man am I glad I gave it a go. The corned beef comes in large chunks of shredded pieces, clearly taken from a big corned beef brisket and then mixed in and cooked with small diced potatoes. This was my favorite dish, by far. I'd come back just for that. I also tried their cheese grits, which was better than usual at a diner style restaurant. The customer service was awesome, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere in general. Worth noting it backs up quickly. I got there at 9:02, 2 minutes after they opened, and there was already a line at the door. I'll be back with friends for a dish of corned beef hash and grits, and I'll probably get a biscuit on the side just to enjoy on its own or with butter and jam.

I've been wanting to try this place out since last year and my family and I finally decided to go…read moreon a random Friday night. It's located in a shopping center (there's a racetrac sharing the area as well) but it's easy to find with the standout signage. We could tell from the parking lot that it wasn't super busy and once we walked in, we were greeted and taken to our table. The waiting area has all sorts of license plates, merch, an area for local businesses to leave cards and kinda gives you a colorful glimpse into the restaurant itself. We were seated in the Front Yard and my kiddos immediately fell in love with the vibrant colors of the decor, the bus that they could see which is located behind the bar area, and they each got a pack of wikki stixs that kept them occupied throughout our time at the table. The decor makes the space super fun, there are plenty do tvs around, and this was just a really family friendly place. Our waiter was attentive and took great care of us. While I was stuck between getting the MMY Patty Melt, I decided to go with the Totally Tubular Turkey Club. My husband got the Buckin' Buffalo, one kiddo opted for a cheeseburger and the other kiddo wanted chicken tenders. It took about 15 mins for the food to come and when it did it looked sooooo delicious. My club was fresh and tasted really good. Bacon, turkey, white American cheese, lettuce, tomato and I guess their house sauce all on sourdough. I loved it and I opted for onion rings instead of tots or fries because I really wanted some and really enjoyed them. The onion rings were not greasy and tasty so good. Everyone enjoyed their food (the kiddos mentioned their fries being a bit salty and after I tried one I agreed) but we were near the pinball room soooo after they finished they were asking if they could go okay games. Before we left the table, I got a cookies n cream milkshake which was sooooo good and came with whipped cream, Oreo crumbles on top and gummy worms. We did visit the pinball room and the kids had a blast. Bring cash to play most of the games but it was fun to see everyone having fun playing games and enjoying their Friday night. Unfortunately, as someone who has eaten burgers all over the world the Trucker Burger was disappointing on many levels. First of all, it felt like a misleading description to describe the burger as having two "smash patties". These were definitely not smash patties under the traditional definition in my opinion. The bun was good, but the burger patties themselves were far too plump, lacked bounce, had no caramelization in the edges and were not juicy on the inside. It tasted like a burger you'd find at your neighbor's backyard BBQ with a general lack of flavor and course texture like the lean to fat ratio was off and the burger was cooked on too low a temperature. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the burger was a let down and extremely overpriced. You're better off going to a fast casual spot like Freddy's where you can get a great smash burger for much less.
