    Tasting Breakfast

Now when I visit the ATL area, Season for brunch/lunch is a must. It's gotten more popular so reservations are a must. The staff is super friendly and hospitable. The cozy spot has added more outdoor seating with umbrellas (which work great in light rain btw). The tasting breakfast is fantastic (get the pancake), chicken and waffles are some of the best ever with the spicy sauce. Love the pork belly biscuit with perfectly cooked pork belly contrasting with the eggs and fluffy biscuit. Don't sleep on the hot chai lattes!

Came here specifically to try the matcha flight and they were sold out. I specifically wanted the milk and honey matcha but it wasn't available. The vanilla matcha that I did get was pretty good. I sat outside as this place is really small and parking can be a nightmare but once you get some of their food you will see why everyone is trying to get here. I had a hard time deciding what to get off the menu but landed on the pancake with some eggs and bacon. The pancake is not like any one I've had before think crispy edges but way more. I added a side of the whipped salted caramel which I'm glad I did because it paired perfectly with the pancake. I would definitely give this place another try.

FIVE STARS ALL ACROSS THE BOARD! Make your reservation here ASAP! This restaurant is a small space but packs a huge punch with flavor. Due to going viral on social media, this local gem is blowing up with crowds on the weekends. We got here on a Sunday around 12:30pm. With no reservation. There is limited street parking around so you might have to search a little. It didn't take us long to find a free parking spot across the street. We were told we had to wait for 1.25 hours but we were put on the waitlist and actually got seated in about 15-20 minutes. We ordered the chorizo biscuit, Maduro pancakes, scrambled eggs, duck ham and black coffee. All of it was fantastic and DELICIOUS! The portions and prices are quite generous. Every bite is so flavorful that you will try your best to clean your plate. The maduro pancakes were a perfect combo of being crispy on the edges and outside yet super fluffy and moist on the inside. All the plantains and toppings that come with it complement the pancake texture and flavor so well. You MUST treat yourself and someone you love to breakfast here. It was such a delightful experience for us after church. The staff was so pleasant and hospitable. Everyone working there checked up on our table and asked us about our experience. Phenomenal! They know what they're doing and they do it exceptionally WELL.

Season has hands down one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. We ordered the chilaquiles, pork belly biscuit, and an a la carte pancake. Everything was incredible. The pancake was sweet with crispy edges and kind of reminded me of a funnel cake. The Chilaquiles was our favorite dish with massive amounts of flavor and crispy tortilla chips in every bite. The restaurant is pretty small inside, so I'd definitely suggest making a reservation. We loved it and can't wait to come back!

Showed up first thing on Saturday with no reservation. Parking is VERY limited. Was told the wait would be about 15 minutes for a seat outside for two people. Only waited maybe 5 minutes for a table right next to the door. Ordered the pork belly biscuit that came with I think it was called a potato fritter, biscuits and gravy, and the Maduro pancakes. When ordering the pancakes I said we were going to split it- & they gave us each our own plate with one pancake and all the sauces on the side- I was really surprised and happy about it because it was so good! I didn't expect to love the bananas and the salted caramel with the pancakes but it was great. The pancakes are truly worth it! The biscuits were perfect! I didn't love the pork belly but would love to try the fried chicken biscuit next time. The biscuits and gravy were very good. The place is very small and I had to change my clothes when I got home because they smelled like kitchen grease. There's only one bathroom, but mostly clean. The server was great.

Hands down the best breakfast in the area! The food is incredibly fresh, and the service is top-tier. Israel and the rest of the team are absolutely awesome. They are attentive and multiple staff members asked me how the food was. I'm still dreaming about the 'Breakfast Tasting.' It's a platter where you get a little bit of everything and it's so worth it. Just keep in mind that the grits that the breakfast tasting comes with are just plain grits not the cheddar grits which I'm going to try next time. I added a waffle and a side pancake, and honestly, that pancake was a revelation. I don't know how they get it so light and fluffy while keeping the outside perfectly crispy. I have never had a pancake this good. I'm not even exaggerating. Every pancake I've ever had, I walk away from feeling really heavy and gross, but not this one. I ate half the pancake, which is a lot for me and even then I still felt light. Even the small details like the seasoned avocado and the divine in-house jams stand out. Just a heads-up: it's a cozy spot with limited seating, so even with a reservation, there might be a short wait. Trust me, it's worth every second. I've already booked my table for next weekend!

This hole in the wall is a hole in one! Stumbled upon this amazing tiny small breakfast/brunch spot that seems to be a favorite by many. Non stop customers in and out for dine in and/or take out! When the food arrived and after the first bite, I knew why it's so popular. Service was perfect and the staff were friendly and kind making sure your water and coffee is always full! Chicken and waffle is amazing and tasty. Love their spin on it with their top secret sauce which was spicy so be careful if you don't have a high tolerance for some heat. But it's an amazing combination of heat and sweetness and creaminess from the orange cream cheese that's pairs very well with the perfectly crispy chicken and waffles. Highlight of the meal was the biscuit and sausage gravy. The best biscuits I've ever had that's perfectly crispy on the outside with soft and fluffy and buttery and moist crumbling inside. Amazing and a must try item just with the gravy or building your own biscuit plate!

AMAZING!!! My husband found this little place for brunch and I'm so glad he did! It's a very small place with a few tables outside and a small inside. Our server, Israel was so so nice! He made dining there very lovely. It was our first time so we asked for recommendations. He was really great at guiding us! We came because we were craving chilaquiles and these were exquisite! Everything was well seasoned and it all paired very well together. We also tried the tamale huevos rancheros which were incredible! The tamale was stuffed with sausage and on a bed of refried lentils. I've never been a huge lentil person but these were literally so great! The grits were cheesy and creamy. The top was topped with cheese which created an almost crunching top. Very very good! Everything was very fresh and well balanced. They even brought us biscuits to take home since they had extras at the end of the day which was nice. We'll for sure be back! This is one that a reservation is very smart since it is small!

10/10. Worth the wait. Servers were so nice and checking in frequently to make sure everything was good and tasting as we wanted. The pancake is sooo good. I cannot wait to come back and try other things that were recommended. The milk & honey matcha from the flight were my favorite.

If I could give this place more stars, I would! We honestly haven't had food this good in a while. We decided to try something new for a quick lunch date, and this place did not disappoint. When we first got there, parking was limited, but we found a spot up front, and there were even a good bit of people already inside. We had made reservations for 11:15 and was seated immediately. The place is on the small side. You know, one of those cute holes in the wall, where you can't believe you didn't know about it sooner? It was super clean inside, and very inviting. Vanessa, our server, was amazing -- super attentive, so sweet, thorough, and full of great recommendations. Everyone else who came by our table to check on us or drop off food was just as helpful, which made the whole experience even better. We'd never had French press lattes before, so of course we had to try them. They were really good. I ordered the mocha and my husband got the regular with sugar on the side. The mocha was definitely on the sweeter side, so if you're not big on sweet drinks, keep that in mind -- but I'm sure they could adjust it if you ask. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of eggs. Now listen... we love spice, and Vanessa did warn us -- and lesson learned for next time. You might want that spice on the side. But SO worth it. The flavor was incredible, and the chicken actually had seasoning on it (LOL). He also said the eggs were probably the best he's ever had -- and that's saying something. Sorry, I didn't get a picture of those. I ordered the Chorizo con Huevos Biscuit, and because I thought it would be smaller, I also got a side of cheddar grits. Y'all... first of all, this biscuit is NOT your average biscuit. It's HUGE. And second, I don't think I've ever eaten a more delicious biscuit in my life. Every single flavor worked perfectly together -- absolutely delectable. We will 100% be back.

Season: A Chef's Kitchen absolutely delivered on brunch. Everything felt thoughtful, well-balanced, and made with real care. We ordered the Tamale Huevos Rancheros ($19) and it was outstanding. The handmade tamales were tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with the refried lentils and house-made salsa. The sunny-side-up eggs were cooked just right, with rich yolks that tied everything together. Add in the crema, fresh avocado, and crispy bacon, and every bite was comforting yet elevated. The Breakfast Tasting ($19) is a great option if you want a little bit of everything. We chose a pancake, which was golden and fluffy, and it came with two eggs, bacon, sausage, a buttermilk biscuit, creamy grits, colcannon, avocado, composed fruit, and yogurt with almond granola. The variety was impressive, and nothing felt like an afterthought--even the larder condiments were spot on. Portions were generous, presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were on point across the board. This is the kind of brunch that feels indulgent without being heavy, and clearly chef-driven. Highly recommend for a relaxed but elevated breakfast or brunch. We'll definitely be back.

A very small space with limited parking. We came in a group of five and were able to get a table outside, though it was wet and we had to request it to be wiped off. Service was slow and not welcoming. There was a lady inside giving orders to people, not sure if it was the owner or manager but she was not very friendly. We asked if there was seat inside or a wait list and she said not until 1pm. That was when I asked if we could have the table outside as there was another group also dining outside. Server didn't come till much later, and also didn't bring many items until requested, such as water. I got the breakfast sampler. My fruits and yogurt didn't come until much much later, and the yogurt was hot. Our syrups also didn't come out until we were half way done eating a waffle. I will say the biscuit was very good! Warm and buttery and fluffy. I would also recommend the chicken and waffles. It was a little spicy which I like and the chicken was juicy and crispy. The matcha latte was a miss, only tasted of milk and sweetener. We were also never checked up on once. I had to go inside to get some items and also pay for the check. Upon leaving we also noticed the table behind us got place mats but we didn't. We did not even get any type of service which was a bummer. I really wanted to like this place as it seems like a small friendly establishment.

I'd give this neighborhood gem more than 5 if I could. I enjoyed everything I tried, because it all tasted good. . I was all the more impressed to hear that majority of the ingredients are sourced locally which is hard to find these days. I gave the French toast entree a try and I really enjoyed the duck ham that came with it. It hits the spot. I also have a weakness for country fried steak, so I couldn't resist the steak and egg biscuit. That made from scratch biscuit is perfect for this dish and I hope you'll top it off with their fresh made blueberry jam. There's real whole pieces of blueberries in it. What a chill vibe this spot has, perfect for brunch. I also eyeballed someone else's great looking burger, I mean it was astonishing so now I have to come back for lunch

The sides wete quite good, the best part of our meals. The salad was okay though the dressing was on the more bland side and fresh ground pepper helped its flavor profile quite a bit. For a restaurant calling itself a "chophouse" and supposedly upscale, you would think they would know how to cook a steak or use a better quality steak. Our filets were cooked to proper temperature but lacked any taste of salt or seasoning and lacked any searing on the outside. The meat was chewy rather than tender and made us wonder "what's so special about this place" where parking availability is also a challenge!? So you would think dessert would be hard to mess up, but our cheesecake was nothing special at all. We've had better tasting Sara Lee cheesecake from the supermarket; definitely below expectation.
