We decided to try this american restaurant for brunch. First we ordered Orange Juice and Iced Tea. Orange juice was freshly made. For brunch we ordered Avocado Toast with Fruit Salad, Veggie Delite Omlette and Sausage skillets. Avocado Toast was okay not much to say. Veggie Delite Omlette was also okay. We liked Sausage skillet more as the contents were fresh and tasty. Orange Juice: 5/5 Avocado Toast: 3/5 Veggie Delite Omlette: 3/5 Sausage Skillet: 4/5 I will definitely try this restaurant again for other dishes too.

Egg white veggie omelette and potatoes were perfect as I recovered from a medical procedure nearby.

Came on a Sunday and the wait wasn't too terrible. It definitely felt like this place was understaffed the day I came since our server took a while to get us our drinks and orders. I got the market feast with 2 blueberry pancakes/crunchcakes. The crunchcakes are a must try here!

The Skinny: The pancakes are pretty good. I've tried the blueberry crunch and the chocolate chip and both were pretty tasty. The quesadilla they offer is one of the most flavorful things I've had here. It wasn't mine but I tasted someone else's and it was good. The Scoop: Honestly both times I've been here I haven't been that impressed. I feel like the food lacks flavor. It's just ok. I'd rather have Buttermilk or Cracker Barrel. The grits have nothing exciting about them. I had the biscuits and sausage gravy and nothing on the plate stood out. #nobueno The Deets: Friends and I went to Chastain park for exercise and wanted some breakfast afterwards. Buttermilk was packed as usual. The wait for Flying Biscuit was 40 minutes and we were deciding between this place and Ihop. Think we should've went with the latter. Nothing was bad but nothing was good either. Just an Ok experience both times I've been here.

Grabbed brunch here while in town for Music Midtown. We've visited others in the past. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. We will definitely eat here again. Party of 4 who ordered a variety of different menu items. I loved my blueberry crunch cake. So good.

I have been wanting to try this breakfast location for quite some time now, and unfortunately I was underwhelmed.... When I first arrived on a Saturday morning, I was expecting a long wait, to my surprise or was only 10 min. I specifically asked for sit on their patio, since the weather was nice and it looked scenic. When it was time for me to be seated, I was directed towards the back of the restaurant until I reminded her I requested the patio, which they obliged, but attention to detail means a lot. Once outside, the patio was perfect, this is where most of the stars for this review is attributed to! It was shaded, cool, picturesque, and just what I was looking for at my morning outing. This is where the good news ends.... Three other tables were seated after me, and all of them had a server greet them and take their order within minutes of them being seated. I waited and watched the 4 servers outside walk past me, delivering their drinks and taking their orders for out 10 minutes before flagging one of these servers down to ask for a cup of coffee and to place my order. The menu itself is pretty typical, nothing special outside the normal breakfast fare. The coffee was pretty good, my meal was average and the service was obviously poor. Once I did get my food, the server brought over my check with it. Needless to say, I did not feel welcome or attended to as a patron to this establishment and I would think twice, maybe even three times, before returning since the experience as a whole was very off putting.

We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.

Typically I research and take a peek at the menu, photos, etc. but I didn't this time. Peters Street has ample street parking and a few lots for a fee. Just check the signs before you leave your car. The entry is unassuming because there's so many little places on this street but once you enter you're in another time! The medieval theme is super cool - a Barron greeted us at the door. Seating is casual - find a spot to sit and then order from the digital menu at the door. Orders are taken at the counter but entrees and drinks are brought to your table. The owner Josh was extremely accommodating! He gave us some tastings of coffee, tea and the French toast. 10/10! I personally ordered the Blueberry Matcha and a Bowl (done keto). Everyone's meal looked amazing and not a crumb was left. We left with some of the canned whiskey drinks - Strawberry Whiskey Sour and Kentucky Mule made with bourbon. Josh said best enjoyed mixed together! The photo opps, food, drinks and aesthetics are so good here. Only comment is that the tables are pub or cafe style and best for small groups or just takeover a section like we did. Enjoy!

One thing I really loved was the photo booth outside in the parking garage--it was such a fun touch and made the visit even more memorable. The only downside was the parking. Unless you're lucky enough to find street parking, you'll have to park in the garage, which wasn't my favorite. Other than that, everything was great. The bartender was incredibly kind and patient, especially since I'm very picky about drinks. She helped me choose one that I ended up loving. The atmosphere inside was also really nice, with a fun and welcoming vibe. I'd definitely come back!

SUPER unimpressed with my visit here…read more Based on the decor, especially the photo area in the parking deck and the fake flower arch outside, my first impression was that this was going to be a "TikTok trap": a restaurant focused more on aesthetics than food or service. Unfortunately, that impression ended up being accurate. It took forever for our food to come out. The parties around us were clearly frustrated as well. I watched one table become visibly irritated, while another guest stopped a server to ask if the food being carried out was theirs because they had apparently been waiting over an hour. As the wait dragged on, I started paying closer attention to the decor, which I personally found tacky and gimmicky, especially the fake greenery hanging across the ceiling. The fried green tomatoes and sweet heat wings were really good, and I started to rethink my initial assessment of the restaurant. Everything went downhill from there. My "Rich Boy" sandwich itself was good, but it came with completely unseasoned fries. When I mentioned that I was supposed to have the "Rolex" fries, the server told me the plain fries were what I got. After clarifying with another server, they brought out the actual "Rolex" fries, which appeared to just be fries with a little parmesan and parsley on top. Supposedly they were truffle fries, but there wasn't even a hint of truffle flavor. My partner ordered the veggie sausage, which was overcooked and dry. Their eggs came out over easy instead of over medium, and the "signature grits" were more like cream cheese with a little bit of grits mixed in. We were told more grits would be brought out, but they never came. Another person in my party ordered the Southern seafood pasta, which had literally one piece of spinach in it. When she asked about it, the server responded that there was "more spinach coming." At that point, it became clear that Barney's is selling the illusion of luxury in order to justify premium prices for subpar food and service. It really was a TikTok trap after all. To make matters worse, when the check came, we were charged an additional $1.50 for eggs that already came with the meal. The explanation was that the eggs "came from the shell." Others in my party were also charged extra for liquor on top of the listed menu price for their drinks. Overall, I absolutely did not enjoy my experience here, and I will not be returning. Oh, and that other party that was visibly irritated with the wait had to wait even longer because there was a hair in their food.
