    Raw oysters

I had an amazing experience. It was my first visit, and if I were to rate the food, portion sizes, and service, I would give it a solid 9 out of 10. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while but hadn't had the opportunity until now. When I finally did, I made sure to make a reservation. I enjoyed their raw oysters, which I would rate 7 out of 10, the Wagyu Bavette cooked medium well at 8 out of 10, and the shrimp toast, which was a perfect 10 out of 10. I would definitely love to return next time and sample more items from the menu. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the interior decor was stylishly executed. Thank you, Hamp & Harry's.

Hamp & Harry's is one of our favorite spots on the Marietta Square, especially for their unique pop-up restaurant experiences. We visited during their Harry Potter pop-up and more recently enjoyed the Nutcracker pop-up. The decorations and ambiance at both events were absolutely stunning. The food at Hamp & Harry's is consistently great, with our favorites being the smash burger and short rib dumplings. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the atmosphere makes it well worth it.

While visiting for a convention I stumbled across this restaurant that was highly recommended by other event goers. I was really amped up about their lamb meatballs and was told this is the spot to get a nice dinner. As you walk in you notice all the Whimsy and the restaurant, it's super cute very appropriate for influencers and brunch goers. Service was decent for sitting. Once my waiter Ian came around service improved. I ordered a drink that had Yuzu and egg foam which was very refreshing. I was really shocked that a salad could make so much impact I had the strawberry and goat cheese salad. It was very well balanced and the dressing was perfect for all the mix. I kept looking forward to my lamb meatballs that never came. The pork belly was exceptional, had a good caramelization to it and the Pickled vegetable confit was absolutely complimentary. I really didn't see much parking outside of garage parking near it so that might be a challenge. I may choose to come back and visit and just for the so-called lamb meatballs that were great, I have a bit of fomo.! Outside of that it was an okay experience, I'd like to see what they have to offer for brunch.

We went to Hamp and Harry's for the Harry Potter pop up and were not disappointed! They do a great job with the decorations, and incorporate the theming into their menu, so we were definitely feeling the Harry Potter vibes. The food was good, as were the drinks, and I particularly enjoyed the French Toast. If I were just paying for the food I'd say the prices were a little high, though not crazy, but I view the up-charge as paying for the theming. Service was solid, with helpful suggestions from our waiter.

We popped in on Friday for lunch, no reservation but were able to sit outside on such a beautiful day! We also brought a pup with us which was no problem at all. Our server was very friendly, gotta say a little slower than I'm accustomed but still good service overall. It was mostly just getting started that took a minute but once we got rolling everything was fine. All the food was good. We didn't get spirits but just water and tea. We were there during Harry Potter theme and look forward to checking out when they swap over to the Nutcracker; I'm excited about that.

Great place nestled In the heart of Marietta. I love the internal decor. Its a lot bigger on the inside than initially anticipated. Plenty of seating for any size party and even private seating for large parties. The food here is fantastic and the drinks are perfectly crafted. Ive been to both their Weekend Brunch service and their weekday dinner service. For brunch, I started with their Cafe Maxim (an espresso martini w/ Cognac!). We shared the deviled eggs as a started. I ordered the Avocado toast, which had perfect portion sizing and left me satisfied. My friend had the Egg and Cheese biscuit. That biscuit was huge and was freshly baked. We ordered 2 flat whites to-go rounding out our experience. For dinner, I brought another date and enjoyed two dirty martinis (which came with hand stuffed blue cheese olives) that were chefs kisses and a bottle of Albarino from the wine list. We shared all of our plates together so we split the Ahi Tuna Tostadas, Goat Cheese Fritters, Lamb Meatballs, Short Rib Dumplings, and finished with the Tableside Smores. Oh man it was crazy that everything was an absolute hit. This has become one of my favorite spots I will bring all my friends to experience.

Flowers we brought in made the room even more wedding-like.

We had a wonderful wedding dinner here in a private room for 18. The theme is "campy" so there is lots of casual ambiance. The prix fixe menu offered options but kept the service as simple as possible. Shane was an amazingly friendly and efficient waiter. The filet option was the most popular, but some guests complained that their filet tasted gamey or fishy. The grouper was good but a little salty for my taste. Everyone raved about the cheesecake but there was no gluten free option for me. Thanks for the great service and accommodations.

The Harry Potter pop-up is where it's at. Such a cute concept with the decor, special menu and delicious concoctions. We didn't have reservations but there was room at the bar. Reservations fill up fast at this establishment so book early is you have a firm time or larger party. Our server Ian was a delight - he looked like he jumped out of a Harry Potter book! The menu is on theme as well with clever named starters, entrees, cocktails and dessert. We were served the lightest puff pastry or bread to start. Then for starters we had the beef dumplings and lamb meatballs. To drink - an espresso martini and an interesting tequila cocktail that I'll get to later. Dinner was the chicken and my friend had the scallops. I won't repeat the names (you can read their menu) except for my drink. "Let The Brewing Commence" is an experience. You eat a magical flower bud first then let it do its magic. The drink is delightful but the bud takes your senses up a few notches! My highlight was the dessert. This chocolate dream was served in a small terra cotta flower pot. Very assuming but packed with flavor and sends you to heaven. Definitely a star to wrap up our meal. The service, atmosphere and food were outstanding. My only notes are the dumplings could have been a little softer. The chicken was on the dryer side but the sauce and veggies made up for it. Overall, I can't wait to come back for The Nutcracker theme!

Hamp & Harry's brunch menu (October)

I love discovering new restaurants in the Square, and Hamp + Harry's is a great find! There's a new theme each month -- the Harry Potter pop up in October has been the best so far IMO. My girls + I went for brunch and I ordered the brunch burger and Hufflepuff cocktail. The cocktail was... interesting lol. The more I sipped, the more it grew on me, so it was definitely an acquired taste. The burger was OK, but a little on the salty side. Overall, the menu is unique with lots of variety, depending on your palate. I found some items to be a bit pricey though, especially considering the portion sizes. Last bit of advice: This place gets crowded FAST, so I'd recommend booking ahead of time. On my most recent visit, my friend and I had to wait despite having a reservation and once seated, we learned there was a 2 hour-limit. In all, I'll be back to try something new since the menu changes pretty regularly.

If you had told me I'd be toasting my new husband in full Harry Potter regalia at a Marietta pub just minutes after saying "I solemnly swear I am up to no good" (also known as wedding vows at the Cobb County Courthouse), I might've laughed. But Hamp & Harry's turned out to be the perfect spot for two freshly minted muggles-turned-marrieds and their band of merry witches and wizards. The ambiance alone deserves a spell of its own, cozy, twinkly, and just enough old-world charm to make you think you've stepped straight into Hogsmeade. Honestly, if someone had popped out from behind the bar with a Butterbeer, I wouldn't have blinked. Every corner begged for a photo, and even our non-costumed friends were enchanted (pun absolutely intended). The staff were the real magic here. Warm, welcoming, and completely unbothered that a table of wand-wielding newlyweds had apparated into their restaurant. They leaned right into the fun, making us feel like VIPs at the Three Broomsticks. And the food and drinks? Let's just say every bite was a charm that worked perfectly. My taste buds were doing a happy dance, no Felix Felicis required. In a world full of ordinary taverns, Hamp & Harry's stands out as a truly magical experience. Whether you're celebrating a marriage, a mischief-managed moment, or just need a pint and some good company, this place delivers the kind of joy that even Dumbledore would toast to. 10/10 would get married again just to celebrate here (though my husband says maybe next time we skip the courthouse and go straight for the cocktails).

Fun Alice in wonderland pop up!
    Robin H.

Had a great dinner here! Four of us was a good sized group as it was a bit loud. Decor very fun-they were doing an Alice in Wonderland pop up. We split salads for appetizers. Two of us had the scallop risotto which was out of this world. And two of us had the duck which was awesome too. Great service, would definitely go back.

Only gone during the holiday season, but I loved all the bites and cocktails we had. Food was a nice surprise. Service was great. Need to go back for a real review on dinner.

We were a group of 5 and that was pushing it so I'd definitely say no more than 5-6 people. We sat outside and the weather was beautiful. Just a heads up--this restaurant seems to be dog friendly. As a dog owner myself that is something I'd like to know but I understand the hesitation when you're sitting and eating next to a dog. However, doesn't take away from the cleanliness or the service of the restaurant. We ordered the Mezze trio as an appetizer. Everyone loved the hummus however my favorite was the red beet root. I also loved that they can refill the pita bread which went by quickly. Most of the table ordered the lamb skewers which I thought was a good. I'd give it an 8/10. I thought the flavors paired nicely and it was a different taste than the skewers I've ordered before. My brother ordered the salmon and he really enjoyed that. The service was nice however it did take at least 45 minutes for us to get our food which was a bummer. Definitely could see this being a nice, chill lunch or dinner spot.

That is a uniquely American invention unheard of in Italy. Bread goes with the meal and if the olive oil is good, you just drizzle a little on the bread. You certainly don't mix it with Balsamic vinegar. The pasta dishes are large enough to feed an entire table as a first course, which is Italian, not as an entire meal. (American tradition) When you offer Sausage, chicken, shrimp etc. on your on your caccio e Peppe that's American not Italian. For heaven's sake, it's called Cacio e Peppe for a reason. Also, they proudly use Gran Padano, from Northern Italy, instead of the correct Pecorino Romano from Southern Italy. It's supposed to be a simple Roman Dish! They make it a cheese wheel, so if you are looking for an American/Italian/Benihana experience, this is for you. There was waaaaaay too much raw garlic in the Penne alla Vodka (American, NOT Italian). I don't mean minced or finely chopped. There were chunks of it. And if they used heavy cream in the sauce we couldn't find it. The affogato was ok, but it's supposed to be made with a shot of espresso, not regular American Coffee. It just melts the ice cream making a dessert soup. The food is no better than what you would expect at one of the "Italian Restaurant" Chains and if that's what you expect in a nicer atmosphere you're sure to be pleased. The Service was pretty good. The ambiance is nice. But please, don't bill yourself as Authentic Italian when you are most certainly not.

I asked our server why we didn't get that treatment, she stated because they had their cake stored in their kitchen. This was an unacceptable response. Our server was well aware of our table's birthday celebration as she commented on the cake when she first arrived and asked whose birthday it was. To receive no acknowledgment felt very disrespectful. To add insult to injury, the other party was an all-white crew, while my party was an all-black crew. The food and drinks were good.
