I really enjoyed my visit to R & C Kitchen and am looking forward to going back. The ambiance was great and was very unique and nice. There is a library area which looked great and the rest of the restaurant didn't disappoint either. We were sitting at a table but the bar area was super nice as well. There is a separate sister restaurant above, but you would never know it and it definitely doesn't take away from the atmosphere of the downstairs restaurant. The service was definitely a highlight of our visit. We had Cassidy as our waitress and she was very informative and helpful with it being our first time visiting. We had the table side Caesar and that was also a fun experience with excellent service. I also really enjoyed my appetizers and meals. I thought that the Caesar salad was a great start and then they followed it up with complimentary bread. I really enjoyed the bread as they give you three different versions of bread and they were all delicious. The entree and sides were also delicious. I had the Mac and Cheese and smashburger with sweet potato fries. Both of the sides were perfect and the smashburger was good but I'd consider trying something else in the future. Overall, R and C made for a great meal and is a must visit spot if you're looking to avoid the Friday Atlanta traffic, but still wanting to have a really nice date night.

I dropped in to have a later evening catch up with my brother last night. I've seen this spot often but never had the chance to drop in for lunch, dinner, or brunch. Parking is fee. The menu is extensive and I had some asparagus and chicken which he already ordered as appetizers. I also had a couple of Ginger Ales. The waiter, Drew, was very kind and accommodating. My disclosure is that I haven't had a chance to sample the extensiveness of their menu but will return at a later date to do so. I enjoyed the great, albeit brief, experience.

This place has gone through a real transformation. The decor is contemporary and pleasing. I love the noise level is low on the lower level so you can have conversation. I ordered bourbon glaze salmon and it was really good. The friendly service was the best part of the experience. I will definitely be back.

I called and placed a to-go order with R & C during the lunch hour. I decided to go with the smash burger and fries accompanied it. The hostess stated, once I arrive, come to the bar area to pick up my food. When I arrived, I went to the bar to pick up my food and no one was present. No bartenders, no servers, no one. I tried to get a few servers attention and was brushed off. After about almost 10 minutes of waiting, the hostess finally appeared. She curtly asked if I had a to-go order and went to the back to get it. After I received my order and check, I handed her my card. She gave me the receipt to sign and walked away. I had to find someone to ask where I should leave it. I really want to like R & C because the food is pretty good, but the service is a bit lackluster. There are some major tweaks that need to happen and I hope they are able to make them. Maybe to-go orders aren't the way to go, if they can't handle the lunchtime rush. Also, the amount of fries that came with the order were laughable. Thankfully, the burger was decent and made up for the lack of fries, though it had an excessive amount of onions and lacked the pickles mentioned in the description. I'll try it again and maybe next time I'll dine in to see if the experience will be different. They have so much potential and will do great in the area, I just hope they improve their service!

The service was good. They even got us in early. Now the food was seasoned well and tasty!!

I truly cannot say enough good things about R&C Kitchen! I was recently there for my high school reunion, and we were blown away by every aspect. First, the space itself is absolutely gorgeous. Yet as stunning as it is, it still had this amazing cozy and warm ambiance. All the staff there had a great energy about them. The attentiveness of all the servers and bartenders was top notch. I have been to many events, and I have never seen so many passed hors d'oeuvres trays coming out...they were on top of it! The quality and presentation of the food and cocktails was second to none. Both the hors d'oeuvres and the dinner buffet were delicious and though dishes we all recognize, looked very upscale and well thought out as well. The bartenders worked so hard all evening. I tried the signature cocktail of the night, and it was perfectly done. As a venue to have a special event, big or small, you cannot go wrong with R&C Kitchen. Our photographs turned out gorgeous because of the decor and ambiance there. There is also a beautiful rooftop bar right upstairs as well. I personally cannot wait to go back and spend more time there. It is a unique place with a vibe all its own that should be experienced by all. I love the location as well...convenient to town and just a couple miles from the Battery! We will definitely be back!

Nice size venue, stopped in for their social hour. Hayden was a great bartender and provided great service. I would recommend the oyster Rockefeller and the prime rib sliders.

Double date night and we were excited! The location is beautiful and the bar area screams date night! Wait staff were good. Drinks were good and we ended the dinner with a bottle of Austin Hope Cab Sav delicious and actually the best thing all night! Food was subpar nothing to scream about and definitely wouldn't have me running back. I would do pre-dinner drinks here but they need to up their dishes. I sent my fish back as it was over cooked! Come on people....we gotta do better. Tuna crudo is typically amazing but not this crudo it was not fresh fish.

After skipping out on dinner from Rays on the River, we decided to celebrate my birthday at R&C kitchen. Before we went, I looked at the reviews and was feeling a bit discouraged because usually they don't lie. However, I am glad we gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and decided to try it out anyway. Jackson was our server and took excellent care of us. He answered any questions we had and even went as far as taking our photos for memories! The ambience was relaxed and aesthetically pleasing. They have 2 different restaurants! The bottom floor is more of fine dining and the rooftop is a bar so the food is different at both places. Reservations are recommended but not needed. The only thing I didn't like were the cocktails from the rooftop! We had the Q Melon & the triple play. They were bitter drinks. We will come check them out for brunch and more dinner dates!

Best service, best conversationalist.... really made this Friday afternoon better.

Lindsay's bartending and food service was well above the top exceeding expectations. It feels like we are all friends up in here.... Food was on point too! Love it here!

Is there any dress code? should i dress up or not do too much?

This is a great causal spot. Dress up not required and likely out of place. Business casual or resort casual is more than sufficient.

Since my good friend is visiting Atlanta from Washington D.C we decided to bring her here and for us to try this restaurant. Natalia greeted us at the entrance and took us to our table right away. The restaurant is simply beautiful and I who am a huge fan of Frida Kahlo loved the big portrait of hers at the main entrance. I must say Natalia was simply AMAZING!. She recommended some plates that are mostly famous by customers as well as some of her favorite ones. We ordered the Simmered Sunset drink that has Mezcal and it was sooo smoky and delicious, I just wished it tasted more like Guava though. I ordered the Carne Asada and 8 hour Brisket Tacos with a side of Black beans and white rice. The tacos were phenomenal in taste however I must say the black beans/rice combination though it didn't lack flavor, it was a bit salty. I feel like the cook put too much salt in either which perhaps they should be mindful of it. Also, I must also confess the music choices though it was classic Motown music didn't go much with the restaurant ambience and to my own personal preference was a bit too loud. I mentioned that to my partner and my friend several times so maybe they should be more mindful of the music volume and also music choices. We spoke to the manager before leaving to give him our feedback about Natalia who was the epitome of amazing customer service and what a waitress ought to be and he was very nice and approachable. We shall be back perhaps for Brunch and maybe next time around the experience will be even better!!!

We've talked about going to Mojave forever -- always "next weekend"... and then next weekend would come and go. But this time? The perfect occasion finally arrived. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt inviting and lively -- the kind of place that instantly puts you in a celebratory mood. Now let's talk about the service -- because it was truly above and beyond. Our server, Natalia, completely impressed me with her attentiveness and communication. My partner ordered two tacos and she asked what kind of tortilla he preferred. "Flour," he said. I jokingly chimed in, "Boring!" When she asked what I wanted, I said I wanted two different flavored tacos -- and she didn't even ask what kind of tortilla. When my dish arrived, I was SO excited -- she brought mine on corn tortillas without me having to say a word. She picked up on my energy and preference just from that playful moment. That attention to detail made the experience feel personal and memorable. I even spoke to the manager, Joel, to share how impressed I was. His response? He wasn't surprised at all -- which says everything about the standard they hold there. That made me love the place even more. A couple quick notes: the music was a bit loud, and sadly they didn't have masitas de cerdo (one of my absolute favorites -- I was heartbroken for a second!). But honestly, the service and overall vibe more than made up for it. We're already looking forward to our next visit -- and this time, we're not waiting until "next weekend."

They have a Unisex bathroom when tou walk in to the right and then they have one in the room where they have the shows. They have a nice bar and waiting area. If you are looking for a venue that provides intimate entertainment then this is a place to visit. The acoustics, sound system, lighting & table set up are great. Its a lot of space to get up, dance & walk around. The tables are not on top of one another it is good for groups. The music sounds great as well. Now let me get to the food. My friend has been here several times and said the food is normally good, however, today it was subpar. I had all sides and every one was horrible the Sweet Potato Souffle had no seasoning it was very bland, kind of loose and tasted like water, it had no vanilla, cinnamon or nutmeg. I was glad they made the greens with Turkey however, it was a bit salty and the greens were extremely soft, the Mac n' cheese was a miss they were bland & had no taste at all, lastly the Garlic Mashed Potatoes didn't have a lick of garlic, they were also bland & stiff, I had to ask for butter to help loosen them up. The lamp chops were brought to the table cold which took away from being able to enjoy them. One thing I will say the entertainment is what will bring me back the food I will definitely be hesitant to order anything, they do have a $10 minimum order which is great and an automatic 20% Gratuity is added to every check. Also, I did mention this to the server who had the Mgr come speak to us, the Mgr did do right by us and discounted our bill by 50% as we left half the food on the table. Overall I would have given 2 stars if this was a review for food only. But since I was really there for the entertainment they will get 4 stars. 4

I'm leaving this because what I saw doesn't line up with that review at all. The group that was eventually asked to leave came in clearly intoxicated and immediately made another table uncomfortable. When they were told the table wasn't interested in being social, the intoxicated group sat down at a table directly across from them and continued making loud, inappropriate comments. The other table appeared visibly distressed and were clearly trying to keep to themselves. Staff initially tried to calm things down and keep everyone there. When the behavior continued and escalated, they made the right call and asked the disruptive group to leave. You could feel the room relax once they were gone. Unfortunately, situations like this happen sometimes when alcohol is involved. From where I was sitting, the staff handled a tense situation professionally and fairly. I've been going to Eleanor's for over a decade and have always found the staff to be kind, attentive, and respectful. This review doesn't reflect what I personally witnessed that night.

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.

Unfortunately, the service brought your score down. We had a reservation for dinner and the young lady who initially met us, did not even ask us this. She greeted us with, "we have an event going on, so seating is tight." OK - Well I have reservation. That seemed to help her find us a table. When she sat us, she handed us one menu for my wife and I. No wine list, (at a wine market) and no introduction. After 5-6 minutes, our server came out and said hello, but did not bring water or the wine list still. But, she did inform us again about the event going on. WE know restaurants are busy on weekends and even more so in the holiday season, but the constant reminders of "The event" does two things, one the servers are creating an excuse to say, you are going to receive slow service, and two, it felt like, how dare we show up during an event night. Finally on our servers 2nd visit, we were able to receive a second menu and the wine list. We ordered the 6 piece charcuterie and two glasses of wine. The server who made the charcuterie board, was very pleasant and proud of her creation, and rightfully so, the board was beautiful and delicious. We enjoyed our wine choice and decided to buy a bottle, our server, had zero wine experience. She did not present the bottle to me, (I have the wrong bottles brought out on a few occasions, and this is just a common courtesy) she uncorked the bottle, did not present the cork, she poured from the bottle into glasses that already had wine, granted we ordered the same wine, but at a wine market with a big event, maybe two new glasses should have been brought out, just in case. Then after she poured our glasses, she DROPPED the cork on the floor, picks it up and sticks in our bottle. Do your servers do that with silverware? Then she began to walk away with our bottle, I asked her to please leave the bottle on the table. She was seemed like that was an odd request. Overall, if we could give half stars, I would say 3.5 for the review, it was saved by your charcuterie server, as well as the taste and quality of the meats and cheeses, as well as the wonderful selection of wines.
