This borders on a 3 to 4. The service was just ok, give the benefit of the doubt I ate at the bar and they were serving multiple folks it just took some time. I had the kale cesar and cauliflower curry with shrimp. The kale cesar was good and perfectly dressed. The salad really needed acid, once I got the lemon wedges presto, near perfect salad. The anchovies gave a decent amount of flavor. Same story with the cauliflower curry. Needed acid and heat. Added both and pretty good. The shrimp was blackened very nicely. The place had quite a few folks on a Thursday night. read more

The atmosphere is beautiful. And the service is fantastic! I would NOT recommend the prime rib though (very fatty & lacking flavor). For apps, the deviled eggs were 10/10 and the pretzel was very tasty. Definitely go for the key lime pie for dessert, and the Hidden Gem if you're indulging in an adult beverage. read more

R & C Kitchen - Prime rib with mashed potatoes and green beans - Wine Bars Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

I really enjoyed my visit to R & C Kitchen and am looking forward to going back. The ambiance was great and was very unique and nice. There is a library area which looked great and the rest of the restaurant didn't disappoint either. We were sitting at a table but the bar area was super nice as well. There is a separate sister restaurant above, but you would never know it and it definitely doesn't take away from the atmosphere of the downstairs restaurant. The service was definitely a highlight of our visit. We had Cassidy as our waitress and she was very informative and helpful with it being our first time visiting. We had the table side Caesar and that was also a fun experience with excellent service. I also really enjoyed my appetizers and meals. I thought that the Caesar salad was a great start and then they followed it up with complimentary bread. I really enjoyed the bread as they give you three different versions of bread and they were all delicious. The entree and sides were also delicious. I had the Mac and Cheese and smashburger with sweet potato fries. Both of the sides were perfect and the smashburger was good but I'd consider trying something else in the future. Overall, R and C made for a great meal and is a must visit spot if you're looking to avoid the Friday Atlanta traffic, but still wanting to have a really nice date night. read more

I dropped in to have a later evening catch up with my brother last night. I've seen this spot often but never had the chance to drop in for lunch, dinner, or brunch. Parking is fee. The menu is extensive and I had some asparagus and chicken which he already ordered as appetizers. I also had a couple of Ginger Ales. The waiter, Drew, was very kind and accommodating. My disclosure is that I haven't had a chance to sample the extensiveness of their menu but will return at a later date to do so. I enjoyed the great, albeit brief, experience. read more

This place has gone through a real transformation. The decor is contemporary and pleasing. I love the noise level is low on the lower level so you can have conversation. I called and placed a to-go order with R & C during the lunch hour. I decided to go with the smash burger and fries accompanied it. The hostess stated, once I arrive, come to the bar area to pick up my food. When I arrived, I went to the bar to pick up my food and no one was present. No bartenders, no servers, no one. I tried to get a few servers attention and was brushed off. After about almost 10 minutes of waiting, the hostess finally appeared. She curtly asked if I had a to-go order and went to the back to get it. After I received my order and check, I handed her my card. She gave me the receipt to sign and walked away. I had to find someone to ask where I should leave it. I really want to like R & C because the food is pretty good, but the service is a bit lackluster. There are some major tweaks that need to happen and I hope they are able to make them. Maybe to-go orders aren't the way to go, if they can't handle the lunchtime rush. Also, the amount of fries that came with the order were laughable. Thankfully, the burger was decent and made up for the lack of fries, though it had an excessive amount of onions and lacked the pickles mentioned in the description. I'll try it again and maybe next time I'll dine in to see if the experience will be different. They have so much potential and will do great in the area, I just hope they improve their service! read more

Double date night and we were excited! The location is beautiful and the bar area screams date night! Wait staff were good. Drinks were good and we ended the dinner with a bottle of Austin Hope Cab Sav delicious and actually the best thing all night! Food was subpar nothing to scream about and definitely wouldn't have me running back. I would do pre-dinner drinks here but they need to up their dishes. I sent my fish back as it was over cooked! Come on people....we gotta do better. Tuna crudo is typically amazing but not this crudo it was not fresh fish. read more

Horrible. service was awful too. do NOT get the prime rib. could've cooked a better steak myself and i can burn a pot of water. not to mention the price. $100 for prime rib (awful), nachos (decent), and french onion soup (the server forgot to put it in and it was awful as well on top of having to wait 30 mins for it). never coming here again. read more

I truly cannot say enough good things about R&C Kitchen! I was recently there for my high school reunion, and we were blown away by every aspect. First, the space itself is absolutely gorgeous. Yet as stunning as it is, it still had this amazing cozy and warm ambiance. All the staff there had a great energy about them. The attentiveness of all the servers and bartenders was top notch. I have been to many events, and I have never seen so many passed hors d'oeuvres trays coming out...they were on top of it! The quality and presentation of the food and cocktails was second to none. Both the hors d'oeuvres and the dinner buffet were delicious and though dishes we all recognize, looked very upscale and well thought out as well. The bartenders worked so hard all evening. I tried the signature cocktail of the night, and it was perfectly done. As a venue to have a special event, big or small, you cannot go wrong with R&C Kitchen. Our photographs turned out gorgeous because of the decor and ambiance there. There is also a beautiful rooftop bar right upstairs as well. I personally cannot wait to go back and spend more time there. It is a unique place with a vibe all its own that should be experienced by all. I love the location as well...convenient to town and just a couple miles from the Battery! We will definitely be back! read more

After skipping out on dinner from Rays on the River, we decided to celebrate my birthday at R&C kitchen. Before we went, I looked at the reviews and was feeling a bit discouraged because usually they don't lie. However, I am glad we gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and decided to try it out anyway. Jackson was our server and took excellent care of us. He answered any questions we had and even went as far as taking our photos for memories! The ambience was relaxed and aesthetically pleasing. They have 2 different restaurants! The bottom floor is more of fine dining and the rooftop is a bar so the food is different at both places. Reservations are recommended but not needed. The only thing I didn't like were the cocktails from the rooftop! We had the Q Melon & the triple play. They were bitter drinks. We will come check them out for brunch and more dinner dates! read more

Love this place . Prime rib sandwich is great . All the burger are great . Hard to beat .

Price on dinner menu is not aligned with the area restaurants. Otherwise beautiful restaurant

Loved R & C. Great atmosphere service and food. Definitely recommend. You will enjoy this place.

R&C Kitchen is the more formal restaurant on the main floor. I love the upscale, modern decor and cozy British style library/den with fireplace as you enter. The Rose and Crown Tavern is upstairs and more of a casual sports bar atmosphere. Make sure you are reserving the right place. I received a call to confirm my reservation, share any dietary restrictions, and to inform the dress code is business casual. I enjoy dressing up for a nice dinner out. It would be nice if every customer adhered to this. Valet for $5 is in the front of the restaurant, but it's not needed. You can drive to the back parking lot for self parking. In general, the cocktails were good (price range $14-16) and wine by the glass ($13-19). The entrees were good but small portions for the price ($30 hanger steak and $45 for branzino fish). The complimentary bread was tasty. The atmosphere is upscale and servers are knowledgeable and helpful. read more

Loved the ambiance and menu. Our server although friendly was all over the place. Food options as well as taste and presentation was great! Hostess staff was great but hoping if we go back, our server is more put together. Order 3 cocktails and although beautiful and tasteful, not sure how much spirits they actually put in the drinks, either it was little alcohol or little drinks. My husband got the wagyu steak and it was unforgettable and delicious. Might go back just for this entree! read more

Drinks were good, food was mediocre, service was slow. We were told since the game let out that's why our drinks and food were running behind, however we got here way before it was crowded, we chose where to sit because the place was empty. We waited an hour for our food. The blame was the crowd from the game but again we were here long before the game let out. read more

I was so lucky to have the perfect dining experience here twice in one week!! Entering the new space feels elegant and refined with jewel tones and moody greens yet each table is cozy and comfortable, great for a date night, ladies birthday celebration or fun with friends. Constantine was our server who went above and beyond to meet our needs and wants. The Hamachi is amazing! I really enjoyed the Hanger steak and Branzino, and of course, no visit is complete without the Abbey Road or Rose'N'Tonic, mmm, ready to go back soon read more

I had been curious about this restaurant for quite some time, and wish we had visited sooner. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, soft as butter and, at 8 oz., generously sized for the price. Delicious onion rings and mashed potatoes, as well. Enough left over for dinner the next night. We will definitely be back to try other menu items and enjoy the ambiance. This is a beautiful restaurant and bar with a gorgeous library styled sitting area with a fireplace off the entrance. Service was friendly and attentive without being obtrusive, which was perfect. Never felt rushed or upsold. Top class, and (BIG plus in my book), decent music at a reasonable volume. No shouting to be heard. Easy to have a conversation. That alone will get us back. It's very hard to find that any more. Thank you. read more

The place is nice, drinks are great, and the service is decent, but the food is just not worth the price. I ordered the hanger steak and it was dry and bland. My wife had the branzino which was fishy, bland and did not go at all with the wine sauce. Our server never asked if we liked the food, which was a bit odd but I'd have to imagine that they've had other negative feedback and she simply wanted to avoid another disappointed customer. read more

This is my 3rd visit here. The food, service and drinks are always 10/10! I highly recommend

The ambiance and service were very good and they certainly acknowledged that the kitchen was not up to par. I don't blame the server he was very attentive, but when you have four people and the one who orders just a salad is served 10 minutes after everyone else you know there is an issue. The side of fries took another 10 minutes and the Mac and cheese came at the end of the meal. The first round of coffee was cold. The food and dessert were good. Three stars for this visit seems right since the prices they charge would indicate that this should be a class A experience. Overall I might give it one more chance, so I hope they can get the kitchen in order. read more

Second visit! Food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back! One of the best in East cobb.

Service was good. I had the bourbon, glazed salmon and had the play yesterday. The food comes out hot, but it takes a little while.

We made a reservation at R&C Kitchen for Thanksgiving dinner as my mother and I are the only family we have in town. We go out to a nice dinner together every year. 2 days before Thanksgiving they let us know that they weren't actually going to be open for Thanksgiving but that we could eat upstairs at their tavern instead. We specifically book higher end restaurants for our Thanksgiving dinner, not taverns. Terrible customer service! read more
