Another lovely meal at Seed. It's our anniversary and we already had dinner plans so we decide to do an early lunch at Seed. Seed is always a good choice and today was no exception. I ordered the fish sandwich with a cup of the best clam chowder I've ever had! The cod was perfectly cooked and the sandwich was delicious. (Be sure to have them leave off the cilantro if you don't like it.) My husband ordered the chicken salad sandwich on grilled bread and he loved it. He's quite picky about his chicken salad but this really made him happy. The service was as amazing as ever, and the manager made sure to check on every table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seed is such a pretty restaurant and a lovely choice for an anniversary.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The manager surprised us with a piece of their tres leches cake with fresh whipped cream and berries. So good! Parking is ample and the food is always on point!

E X P E R I E N C E We came as a group of four on a Sunday night around 6:00 p.m. we did have a reservation but it wasn't necessary as the restaurant was probably 25% full F O O D merchant burger: 1/2 lb, carmelized onion, white cheddar, oven dried, French fries, add bacon Pan seared bay of fundy salmon: melted leeks, truffles vinaigrette, sub parmesan garlic fries Roasted beet salad: Pistachios, pomegranate, arugula, orange goat cheese, fennel, add salmon Chicken schnitzel: miso mustard , over dried tomato, arugula Brussel sprouts I was a little taken aback that my salmon was smaller than my friends salmon that she added onto her salad, but nonetheless the food was incredible. The chicken schnitzel sauce was A+ and I don't even like chicken like that. The brussel sprouts were delectable. It's a must order. There's a little sour sweet twist to the near perfectly burnt Brussels. Wow. S E R V I C E Alex was fantastic. Friendly. Courteous. Food came out quickly. Personable. P R I C E 137 + tax = 146 = 30 tip

I love this restaurant! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for date night, dinner with family or friends![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So many good options it's hard to pick

Enjoyed a great dinner on a girls night out. Our waitress was fabulous, she described all of the entrees, and it was hard to make a decision as they all sounded fabulous. We had the calamari as an appetizer and I can truly say it was one of the best I've ever had! That sauce, whats in that sauce?? I had never had a sauce like that, it was so delicious. For dinner my friends had the cod. They liked it. I had the hanger steak - also very good (big portion). We all loved the parmesan fries. Give this place a try! You wont regret it!

Just sat down to give Seed a second chance after a bad experience a few years ago--when my party left upset, our server in tears, and the manager made everything worse with a defensive, confrontational attitude. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But this afternoon ? Totally different. The vibe is 100% better. Staff is warm, welcoming, and present.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whatever changed (hopefully the management), it shows. Hoping the food matches the energy this time.

If you're in East Cobb, Seed Kitchen & Bar is our go-to spot for lunch and dinner. I come here often because... The menu is consistently delicious. You must try the white corn grit fritters as an appetizer. I didn't order this time because there's four to a serving and I was alone. Reservations for lunch and dinner are always available. Walk-ins are also welcomed, but there's always a crowd here. The staff are incredibly efficient and friendly. Always. I have never had a bad service experience or anything close to it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is the only thing I don't love, but it's okay. Seed is intimate, but very loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I took a picture of my latest lunch. I picked the daily special, which includes small portions of a sandwich (pulled pork pictured), salad (this one with bacon Parmesan) and soup (butternut squash with toasted pumpkin seeds). It changes daily as the name implies. Parking is tighter with the new Marshall's, but really never a problem.

Turkey sandwich and fries

What a delicious meal! I stopped by for lunch, and everything I had was absolutely amazing. The service was attentive and spot-on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I chose to sit outside, and the covered patio was perfectly cozy--not too hot or too chilly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Haywood Turkey Sandwich, and I'm still thinking about it as I write this review. The bread was perfect, the sandwich was toasted to perfection, and the flavors were incredible with avocado and cheddar. I also had the parmesan garlic fries and wow --no artificial tangy truffle taste here, just fresh garlic and parmesan goodness. For dessert, I tried the tres leches cake, which was so moist but not too heavy and rich. It was a refreshing and comforting meal. I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area and spreading the word about this hidden gem. Highly recommend if you're looking for a casual yet thoughtfully crafted dining experience!

This place is absolutely delicious! A must try in my opinion We came on my birthday and everything was perfect. The staff were so friendly and told me happy birthday! They even gave me a card they all signed & a menu with a happy birthday, Annie, just for the occasion. Literally top notch We tried the corn grit fritters upon our servers recommendation and they were positively tasty. Very impressive. We also got calamari which tasted fresh & crispy! For entrees, we got the braised short rib & the salmon. My husband just about licked his plate clean of the salmon with the truffled potatoes. I loved the short rib! It was so tender and the sauce was tangy and flavorful. They gave me a tres leches cake for my birthday and I was so full but honestly it was the best tres leches I've ever tried so I found some room for it... Super moist & creamy & sweet. I'm drooling just remembering it. They have plenty of parking in the strip mall parking lot Well definitely be back to try more items!

I ate at Seed the day before and this was nice. Great soup!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Seed has a nice atmosphere but they don't quite have their act together.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We finally were waited on after 15 minutes only because I asked the hostess if they were too busy to feed us. The server apparently didn't know we were her table. She was lovely (Taylor) and rescued the goof with a complimentary appetizer. The food was good. The fish sandwich needed more taste and the French fries perfect but really ketchup on the side? [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom toilet holders are both broken. That always makes me wonder about attention to detail[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The manager was carrying out food but she seemed a bit clueless as the restaurant was full but she was chatting up the hostess. The hostess when not busy could have been walking around and checking on tables.

Parking can be hit or miss, but there is a plethora of parking in the surrounding area. Buyer beware: children will be running wild and rampant 'round these parts due to the outdoor, semi-covered area next door (it's actually pretty cool and pretty inconvenient if you're trying to stray away from children). The outdoor area has kid-sized tables on an artificial "lawn", along with lounge chairs & Edison lighting (also known as "track lighting"). They have food here, as well. You'll get a table buzzer to pickup your food from the back of the brewery. Seating is comprised of picnic tables and normal tables. The bar, sadly, could use more high-top chairs. Thankfully, I found a recluse away from the stampede of children. FYI: it's noisy. And it's mostly from children. So any background music is pretty much drowned out. I really wish the appeal of breweries and children would stop. For my food, I ordered the Kaiser Chicken Wrap with pasta salad. The pasta salad was decent; the wrap was meh. Thankfully I don't base my reviews off the food the brewery serves. Just thankful they have food options! As for the beer, I was pleasantly surprised at the taste from the limited options they had. They don't offer flights here, so that's the honest reason for the star bump. I ordered four .3 liter pours so I could get a decent array of the offerings. I also got decently blitzed. My beers: Ralphdog Radler, Theresa's Meadow, Tecolote & Straight Outta Munich. The Ralphdog Radler was my favorite. I'm unsure if this is a different way to say "sour", but the taste and slight sour from this was my style. The Straight Outta Munich, which is a special Helles lager (think Weihenstephaner), was superb. I honestly think this one should be their flagship beer, as it was beyond expectations. Theresa's Meadow (ok, was this really from Theresa's Meadow??), the Hefeweizen, was good but lacking. Normally there is a stronger banana taste, and this version was very light on it. I'd probably call it a Hefeweizen Light and suggest more banana if they want to label it a Hefeweizen. Maybe Theresa's meadow is just banana-less?? The Tecolote, Vienna style Mexican lager was meh. I wouldn't suggest it. Overall, they have two solid beers here! And I would come back for both. 4/5 stars, which puts this as a decent option if you want to try something new.

The bartender was helpful when making our selections, and let us sample the brews before ordering to make sure we got the right ones for us. I also appreciate that we can order beers in larger or smaller pours. We also ordered food which was pretty good overall. I'm usually not much of a pretzel person but thought theirs were great, and I appreciated them giving us both mustard and cheese for dipping. The veggie burger and fries were fine but think I'd try something else in the future.

You could just tell she enjoyed her job, cared about how my experience was and that everything was right. The service standard has dropped so low that you just forget what this is like sometimes and to have it again I was overjoyed. Besides fantastic service the burger was amazing too. I got the Big E's burger. The patty itself was a top quality grind and cooked to perfection. It was topped with a thick colossal size onion ring. Another little thing about the onion ring is it was a solid bite. Don't you hate the onion rings where they leave on the membrane and one bite and the whole onion comes out? Me too which is why I loved that theirs didn't. It came with the best tasting ranch you only get in restaurants and other quality burger toppings. Overall it was a perfect burger. I hate to end in a sour note but there are two reasons for not a perfect score. one is the fries were not good. Obviously cutting some food costs with this selection. It was bottom value frozen fry, no coating or seasoning just fried bland potato. Second is I called before I came to ensure they were doing poker and was told yes. After I ate my meal I asked where the poker was being played and was told they stopped doing that. Ok, it was a big reason I came so I was disappointed. However the overall experience was great and I'll certainly be back.

The music was so loud we could not even carry on a conversation with the person next to us. We asked if they could turn down the sound 3 times. Since that didn't help we requested to speak to the manager. He came out and informed us that he would not turn down the sound further and that this is what they do every Wednesday night and that it is loud so that the people can hear.
