    Crab cakes and broccolini

I'm a MD Girlie and typically do not order crab cakes. I took a chance today and they were good. Hubby had a ribeye which was good as well. Service was great and the live music was good. Will visit again for sure.

    Plenty of seating, 02.08.2023.

Wednesday Night: Carly, our server made our experience A+ & kept it going the entire evening. Slight confusion in getting here (1st Time) as it's located in the corner adjacent to a gas station storefront. Once you park & go inside...let the good vibes roll. The full-service restaurant & bar is bigger than what you anticipate. There's a quaint VIP (I presume) area to the right as soon as you walk in. The sprawling bar is donned with luxe lighting fixtures & decor with dedicated High-Top Bar tables. Once you pass the bar, you enter the spacious dining area & stage with two baby grand pianos for the perfect aesthetic. Food-wise, there's a lack of options for plant-based eaters. At this stage of burgeoning flexitarians, restaurants should offer at least the Beyond and or Impossible burger at this stage. However, their website does have a "Vegan Menu" page coming soon. With the proactive Carly on my side, I ended up with the Smoked Eggplant, tomatoes & garlic blended into a dip of sorts with grilled Pita points...with a side of French Fries. My musical BFF had Calamari & Grilled Salmon. The wine list is extensive as Carly introduce us to a new Cabernet - 'Austin Hope' & we were delighted with her suggestion as it pairs well with seafood. The menu is varied with lamb, ribs, poultry & seafood options - good portions & matchable prices. Acoustic Soul was the live music for the evening, a two-member cover band who did their thing with a diverse setlist. Good performance & interaction with the customers which made the sing-along more entertaining. An enclosed sidewalk patio will make its debut soon. Parking is available in the storefront parking lot & other options across the street. I highly suggest The Gaslight for its creative collection of live music, dancing, libations, late-night dining & Brunch amongst a luxe & speakeasy lounge backdrop. Great service. Swanky, upscale atmosphere. Excellent food. Loved the lemon chicken and charcuterie board. Refreshing peartini. Prices are a little high, but not crazy. Thanks for a great experience!

Located inside the gas station plaza by the Roswell breweries this is the place to be for late night drinks! They are open later than all the other bars/restaurants from what I've seen! Their nachos which I made vegetarian are (15$) really good and large portions! Free parking in front of gaslight if you're able to snag a spot as well! Mixed drinks are 12-15$ and the beer options are your standard beers 420, miller light, high life etc. seems a bit of a missed opportunity to offer local brews! They also have live music from time to time. Service was very attentive and kind. Note: I've been here a couple of times around 7pm and it's very quiet it's more of a late night place if you're looking for ambiance.

    Grilled oysters!

We had actually just had some snacks and drinks in Roswell on Sunday, and were walking back to our car when we spotted this place. We paused for a second and Mike, the owner, had stepped outside and waved us in - this turned out to be a VERY good thing, because we went in, sat at the bar, and became immediate fans of this spot. Mike poured us some drinks, and we then had one of the most amazing tastes of delicious food we've had in a good while. Here's what we tried: 1. The grilled oysters - unbelievable. We live part time in New Orleans, and Mike's grilled oysters rival Drago's and some of the others there. 2. Lobster! It's tough to find really good lobster around here, in my opinion, and these folks do it well. The fried lobster app was superb, and I cannot wait to try the grilled version down the road. 3. Filet - perfectly cooked. An amazing steak. Mike also gets proper raw oysters (he gave us a sample and they were divine). Deep shells with proper salty brine, he gets them in from up north. Probably one of my new favorite spots here, and we'll definitely be back often. You should absolutely check them out - the vibe in here is also really great, and they have live music regularly.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the hostess, plus a very inviting bar behind the stand. Prior to coming, we needed to change our reservation and they were happily able to accommodate. It was everyone's first time here, so the server explained how their menu works and what are the popular dishes. We started with the seasonal Thai salad, Smokey cabbage and pork belly. Our server put in the incorrect order, instead of the pork belly, she put in the chive fries, but she happily comped this due to error. Out of all the apps we tried, my favorite was the salad and actually the chive fries. Salad was fresh with corn, tomatoes, snow peas and the dressing was nicely salty and a bit spicy. The chive fries are reminiscent of chive pancake but cut in long strips, shaped like fries, though I found the sauce it came with too sweet. For our main entree, we all shared the chicken satay (my personal favorite and that satay sauce was to die for), crab fried rice (flavorful but found the old bay seasoning a bit too overpowering), whole market fish was trout that night (loved this was topped with a fresh salad) and crying thaiger (I didn't eat the steak but the grilled okra and the sauces were delicious). All of the entrees came with jasmine rice, but there's an option to get sticky rice and garlic rice for extra fee. I thought this was a good meal and our server was great. We found service to be a bit slow, but they were pretty busy. It got better towards the end of the night as people were leaving. They also gave free dessert as someone in our party was celebrating their birthday.

Because the groups were large and each had a different theme, Bey was able to prepare offerings that catered to each theme. The Christmas meal was mezes with platters of chicken skewers and beef skewers and then filets. We weren't concerned with halal meats but I am sure that they were. It's easier to default to it. I didn't really get much and I think I just got some French fries and bought something but I wanted to see what the layout looked like. So this spot does get a little crowded depending on when you go. They do have parking but it's very scarce in the front and they have valet in the back. Just be aware that on a Saturday night you may have to work parking out somehow. Now they had some drink specials posted everywhere. This was actually a good spot to check that out because they have a lot of variation of it. You can see a couple of those in my pictures. The last time I was there they had live music so let me just back up for a little bit. They actually have a stage area where you may go and see some live entertainment and a crowd around them. What's nice is the stage part has its own bar so you don't have to keep running in and out of the food hall to get drinks. They have an outside play area for kids and it's kind of like a green turf situation so you can sit down and let them play. They have seats there and they have seats outside on a covered patio area as well so there are options for seating. Of course they're sitting on the inside and the seats there are not available. They are decent even if you don't count the bar itself. The bar is a pretty long bar so there's plenty of space to sit there. It has a lot of liquor options and it has a couple of TVs so you can actually watch a game or something along those lines. Overall if you're going to head to downtown Roswell, this will be a pretty decent spot to grab a bite to eat because there are a lot of options there. They have Italian, Mexican, cheese steaks, and other things that you can pick from. I do plan on actually going and trying all the things at some point in time but I just did an initial walkthrough. I tried to ask questions of the headphone wearing kid working there. He tried not to acknowledge me and was greatly annoyed when finally he had to. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen and it took 30 minutes to come out. When it finally did, it tasted like grocery store packaged ramen with grilled chicken and canned corn. The only option is to order via a screen, which asks you to leave both a tip and a donation for no one to speak to you. We got the Cajun seafood dip from the creole location. It was delicious but almost $20 for 4oz of dip with chips out of a bag. You could make 10x the volume of this at home with some rotel and Velveeta for the same price. The loaded tots and chicken strips with fries from the tavern were ok. I wouldn't seek them out. The chocolate milk shake was actually a vanilla milk shake with one squirt of Hershey syrup. The only item of note that we ordered out of the almost $100 spent there was the green chili vodka Bloody Mary. It was good because it was vodka with ZingZang bloody Mary mix and fresh lime juice. It did not have any sort of horseradish or Worcestershire or any sort of fun garnish, including even celery for $17. If you're going to this venue for live music, eat before you arrive.
