My husband and I had dinner at Bey a couple of weeks ago for the first time. It's a beautiful restaurant. They have a great patio outside, as well. I ordered the ruby red mocktail, and we shared a few dishes: - feta cheese cigars (I loved these) - sambousek (my husband loved these) - fried chicken milanese (not my favorite, but the fries were really good) - halawa chocolate cake (AMAZING - it was served with Turkish cotton candy, which was so fun and good) Our server was newer, but very nice and attentive. He pointed out the owner to us, as well, who was bringing out dishes to tables and was very involved.

As you're walking from your car towards the restaurant you can smell the aroma of the food inviting you in. Bey is an attractive restaurant - where I personally would take someone out for a cute (& somewhat casual) date! Our server at the time was lovely and made sure we were well taken care of. He constantly came by to make sure we had enough bread for the Baba Ghannouj - which was delicious! For my entree, I had the Lamb Pilaf, which I thought was decent, but was not completely blown away. It was slightly overcooked and I think the dish would've been perfect if it wasn't. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the noise level at the time that I went. However, it was on a Saturday evening with a full house and birthday event was being hosted.

Stellar experience at BEY. Note that the name of the restaurant (and the capitalization) is a tribute to the Beirut airport code. The restaurant is located in a cozy complex with some dessert options and a couple shops (including a watch store) in the vicinity. It is near, though not physically at, the main drag of Roswell. There are also some apartments in the area. Service was ultra friendly, perhaps because we were literally the only ones there for brunch at the time. It seems like Saturday brunch is a new phenomenon for BEY (only their 3rd or 4th week trying it), so no one really knowledgeable about the offering, but it was one of my best brunch experiences in Atlanta. This spot gets busy in the evenings, but brunch was just awesome. We had the shakshuka (large portion with delectable ingredients), the falafel waffle (creative and filling savory dish), a small spicy hummus, the pistachio gelato, and the halawa chocolate cake. The hummus was fine...nothing special. But all the other dishes were truly wonderful. Will definitely be back here to explore more on this menu.

this review is for the cocktail making class that i attended this week !! usually, when you attend a cocktail making class they want to charge you $80 and up!!! this however was amazing price of just $50 plus ax to experience not one but three different cocktails. top shelf liquor was provided from the tequila to the bourbons that were used. we were taught different selections and even history of the bourbons and the tequila. mark the owner also provide a delicious side treats to accompany the drinks. this was one of the best cocktail making classes i've ever attend . and definitely looking forward to the next one.

Sigh, we tried this place some months ago, and I guess I never got around to reviewing it. So, here's the thing. We are picky with middle eastern/Mediterranean food. It's our favorite type of food and the restaurants in Atlanta are just so good. This didn't meet the standard. My drink was great, but everything food wise was very just okay. The hummus was oily, the octopus fine, and then my fish was sad looking and tasting. I also felt like the bill wound up being more than what we would normally pay somewhere like Delbar, Yalda, or Rumi's for less food that's not as good. I understand the dishes are a little different here, but it just didn't do it for us. Maybe this spot will improve over time, but we unfortunately were disappointed when comparing this with what Atlanta has to offer. ):

I checked out Bey Mediterranean for brunch with a friend. It's not your traditional but it was good. The restaurant is beautiful inside. Lots of natural light inside and touches of pink in the decors. It's very modern and chic. The is paid parking in the garage that is reasonably priced. I paid about $6 for 3 hours. The service was really good. We tried several things. The omelette was very herby and taste very fresh. Great for someone into super healthy options. The crispy potatoes croquettes were my favorite. This is a must order. Also I really liked the CHICKEN MILANESE BENEDICT is really good. I usually don't do poached eggs but this was not bad at all. All in all this is a great option if you are looking for something different for brunch.

Amazing! Tried this place for the first time today and it did not disappoint. First of all, hubby made a reservation for the earliest time slot they had available because we are typically early birds. It was for 5 pm, but when we arrived, we realized they hadn't opened yet. Turns out that they don't open until 5:30, but since the reservation system had allowed us to schedule it, they honored the time we had reserved and sat and served us immediately. Everything about Bey is easily 5 stars. The decor is beautiful and the music is awesome giving the whole place a really cool vibe. The service was stellar, the food was mouthwateringly delicious, and the drinks were fantastic. We ordered baba ganoush, beef kafta quesadilla, and grape leaves to start. I put those starters in order of my personal preference but they were honestly all so good. The bread they served with the baba ganoush was so soft and had great flavor. The baba ganoush was so good, we literally could not stop eating it. We were trying to save room for everything else we wanted to try but it was too good to resist. After devouring the starters, hubby and I shared the short rib, which was tender and so flavorful. The mashed potatoes it was served with were also delicious as were the carrots, though I would have preferred them a bit on the softer side than they were. Despite being full, we just had to finish with the Turkish tiramisu and it was as good as it sounded. I feel like it's important to add that this is not a cheap eats kind of place. Yes, it is pricey (what isn't these days?), but unlike many of its competitors, I think Bey lives up to its price point. I don't mind paying a premium price for a premium experience. Unfortunately for many establishments these days, people are paying premium prices for mediocre experiences. We did spend more than our average per person dinner cost at Bey, but both hubby and I feel that it was well worth every penny. This is important because there is nothing worse than shelling out a lot of money for a dining experience that falls flat or makes you regret going in the first place. Luckily, that was not what happened here on our first but certainly not last visit. Bey made a fantastic first impression on us, so I am certain we will be back soon!

We ordered so many cocktails I completely lost track of what was what but the TYRIAN PURPLE was my favorite. All of the food was very delicious. The lamb pilaf almost tasted like a biryani but not as intense. I really enjoyed all of the food and drinks here. For dessert you must try the KNEFEH. Definitely the best dessert on their menu. Service was just alright but the food and drinks made up for it. Although I will say the portion sizes are on the smaller side.

We went a few weeks ago and think this is a promising beginning for a new Mediterranean restaurant in Roswell. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant and the service is welcoming. While we were there, the owner approached us to check in as well. We started with the dip trio ($14), which included hummus, baba ghannouj, and labneh. Each of these was really good with the labneh being our favorite. I tried the Lady Zahra cocktail ($13) which complemented the food well. For our entrees, I had the chicken taouk ($28) and my husband had the Lebanese moussaka ($22). The chicken was served on the bone and very flavorful. The moussaka was nicely spiced and was a strong vegetarian dish when many vegetarian meals at restaurants can feel like an afterthought. We're excited to go back and try more of the menu, especially as Southern Post continues to expand.

Nice quaint Mediterranean food place nestled in a brand new retail / business complex in Downtown Alpharetta. Nice flavorful cocktails that are mixed well. We stopped in, sat at the bar, had some cocktails and fries, and then moved on our way. This is a nice little stop in Roswell.

Great little spot added to Southern Post!! They validate parking which is so wonderful for their customers. The inside is beautiful and the outside seating is great! They gave us olives and pita complimentary and we had two amazing cocktails. The chicken touk was flavorful and the salad it came with was very refreshing and tasty! The potatoes could be better - and we had to ask for some sauce to dip them in so it would be nice if they were a little more tasty with some sauce. The falafels were amazing and they came with a side of pickled veggies! The star of the show for us was the labneh topped with olives and pistachios- W O W. That will be something we get every single time we go! Service was good and the beginning was a little slow but it picked up nicely and staff was very kind.

We were greeted by a hostess when we got in and promptly seated. We started our meal with the hummus and lentil soup. The hummus is the smoothest I've ever had and was paired with some warmed up pita. I'm usually not a big fan of lentils but the soup was good. The broth had a nice flavor. I got the half order of Shish Tawook for myself and my friend got the falafel wrap. The half is quite filling and still very delicious. The chicken was moist for the most part as in between the pieces they felt kinda overcooked but all in all very good and seasoned well. The vegetables were also seasoned well. We were sat out on the covered patio section, with the lovely wisteria above us and a water feature behind our table. We chose to have the Spring Tasting menu, which includes a mezze platter to start with bread, your choice of entree and a dessert platter. I chose the Kafta and my husband chose the chicken shawarma. The entrees come with a generous side of Lebanese rice. We also ordered the City of Salt cocktail and a mocktail. Starting with the drinks, they were tart, tasty and refreshing. Everything was great, but the mezze platter was the highlight. The babaganoush was the best I've ever had. It had a deep, smoky flavor and was garnished with pomegranate seeds which provided such a great burst of sweet to balance out the savory. The stuffed grape leaves and falafel were also standouts. We also ordered the pickle plate because it was calling to us and what a great idea that was! The flavors here are very intense and might not be for everyone. But if you really like pickles you should give them a try. The pickled beets were our favorite. Our entrees continued the same theme of being positively packed with great flavors. The harissa and toum complimented the meats very well. And the grilled vegetables and rice rounded everything out perfectly. The baklava on the dessert platter was also the standout. This is not the baklava you'd buy at the grocery store and was the perfect end to our meal. It's not overly sweet and is balanced with a slight savory flavor, and the texture was fantastic. There was a depth of flavor in everything that shows care and consideration while crafting the menu at Zakia. You can also see this care in the decor and ambience. I will absolutely come back again in the future and would happily recommend Zakia. I would lastly like to thank our waitress Helen in particular for making our experience so lovely. She was so friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a nicer night. Everyone at Zakia made my birthday a memorable one.

The food was incredibly fresh and vibrant. We started with the quail, whipped feta, and shrimp, followed by the brussel sprouts, batata harra, and a mixed platter. While everything was delicious, the quail, brussel sprouts, lamb, and Lebanese rice were the true standouts. Highly recommend for a stylish night out!

The hummus came topped with fried chickpeas, which was such a nice addition-- I'd never had them prepared that way before, and the crunch added great texture. The fries had a nice cut and flavor, but they weren't as crispy as I'd hoped. I'd order the hummus again, though probably not the fries. Once we finished our appetizers, we were escorted to our table, which ended up being a pretty tight fit. We were seated at a two-person table between two larger groups of four, so it felt a bit cramped. Honestly, had we known the seating situation beforehand, we would've dined at the bar since it felt much more comfortable for dining and conversation. By that point, we were slightly full from the appetizers, so we decided to share just the Hanger Steak and the Polo Sefid. The steak smelled incredible and tasted just as good-- definitely a great choice! As for the rice, I may have gone in with high expectations after seeing so many pictures of it on social media, but for me, it was just decent. My boyfriend and I weren't huge fans of it since the grains kept getting stuck in our teeth. The service throughout the night was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. Our server, Lance, was attentive and helpful with recommendations, refills, and checking in on us. I also loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. From walking through the doors and sitting down, everything was pretty. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend checking out Delbar!

For food, I have tried complimentary Sabzi plate, Zafron Special, Grilled Chicken Wings, Khoresh Badenjoon and Lubia Polo. I will describe them detailly below. 1. Sabzi: sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, walnuts, herbs, feta. Served with perfectly baked Naan 2. Zafron Special: an interesting app with mashed eggplant, diced mango, chopped green onions, herbs, and chili oil. Had a refreshing heat and sweetness. Perhaps the spiciest dish I've ever had in Persian restaurants! 3. Wings: I have tried the wings in Delbar, Divan and Yalda before, but Zafron's were just next-level. Perfectly coated in Saffron marinade, nicely charred, amazingly crispy skin and juicy meat. The side sauce was sweet and slightly spicy, whcih paired well with the wings. 4. Khoresh Badenjoon: Basically beef, eggplant and tomato stew. Compared to the similar items in Rumi's, Delbar and Sufi's, this one has the boldest flavor. It does not have beans (so good for a FODMAP control diet) and used lots of dried limes and (whole) cardamoms, which created a very bright, sour base. Compared to Rumi's and Sufi's version, this one also had more, and larger chunks of beef, which gave more texture when you take a bite. The eggplant was delicious, but I wish it could be skin-on like the one in Delbar. 5. Lubia Polo: Basically green beans and diced beef cooked with rice. I only had Lubia Polo in Rumi's Sandy Springs before. In comparison, this one had more beef, and slightly less salty, but did not have as much tomato paste. **Note** the comparisons are only for the purpose of a clearer description of the dishes. For service, the waiting time for both food and check were reasonable, and the staff were all friendly. During my second visit my server gave me 0.5lb of baked naan and extra Sabzi when I asked for a to-go box for just the leftovers... For vibe, it was quieter than many other popular Persian restaurants (but I like more noise haha), and thus walk-ins are possible. The trees inside the restaurant were beautiful. In short, highly recommended. I will definitely visit again to discover more dishes!

There's plenty of seating - it's a large space with many booths and tables. The decor is lovely. I wish they were playing some Arabic music to round off the experience. There's ample parking in the lot. If you're wondering if the restaurant is Palestinian - it is. I asked the staff lol. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu before I leave Marietta.
