    Hummus app

Food & decor are A+. Service was a massive letdown that clouded the overall experience. The decor is really well done. The vibrant teal and green gives a great setting. The bummers - The layout is cramped at the doorway with the hostess stand with not enough room for 5 people to stand and not be in the way of tables & wait staff. Music is a tad loud for the space and somehow they supposedly have live music some nights. We were sat pretty quick and then didn't have a server come by for quite some time. The hostess, which seemed to likely be management stepping in, noticed and acknowledged she was sending someone over. Since we had time to wait, we order our app and some drinks immediately once the server arrived. Drinks then took considerable time to be delivered, wine poured without tasting, spilled wine on the table that was never cleaned. Then we watched others that ordered after us getting their apps. Server came and took our dinner order and no acknowledgment of our app. She frequently disappeared to the back. It is a small place. Easy to see all the other staff bustling about. Well over 20 minutes and when we finally flagged the hostess/manager who was running food to tables around us, to check on our app, our server came by right after to tell us our food would be out soon & we had to point out we never had our app and she said something about if we wanted an app? She was always very friendly but seemingly completely clueless on anything other than taking an order. Our food was delivered on top of the app. The food. Absolutely amazing. The hummus was super smooth, so much flavor, and the nice crunch of the roasted chickpeas with the grilled pita - chef's kiss. Extra unfortunate we didn't have it earlier. Chicken Tawook, lamb chops, lamp shank. All plated like art and phenomenal taste. Ending of the meal equally frustrating. People smothering us to clear the table as we are trying to finish our meal. Not fair to hurry us to turn a table when we had to sit so long without proper service or our food. The food was so wonderful here but the service for the cost of the meal didn't live up & really hurt our experience. Kudos to the hostess who was seemingly stepping in best as possible.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS (before you even walk in): The parking lot is TIGHT, and the signage is unclear enough that I genuinely thought I was supposed to be across the street. Fix the sign. Once inside, though, gorgeous decor, and the host was attentive right away. Credit where it's due. But the front of house needs rethinking. There's no waiting area. Sacrifice one or two seating spots and give guests somewhere to actually stand or sit. And build some kind of divider between the entrance and the dining room, because right now I'm making direct eye contact with someone mid-bite as I walk in. This is NOT a diner, and you certainly aren't charging diner prices. THE MUSIC. My number one critique. It is UNBELIEVABLY loud, and it does not match the room. It gives Texas Roadhouse. It gives Cracker Barrel. Meanwhile everything else in here screams CLASSY and your clientele showed up dressed. Nobody wants music blasting at them while they eat. We are NOT on a dance floor. At minimum, turn it DOWN and distribute it evenly throughout the restaurant instead of concentrating it in one spot right next to tables. CONTEXT, to be fair: I understand I came during their first week or so of being fully open. They soft-launched in December, so some of this is growing pains. SMALL THINGS THAT CHEAPEN THE ROOM: Hide the kid stools and anything else that reads immature. The vibe here is dark adult night out, drinks with the girls. It is NOT LongHorn with my three-year-old, so stop decorating like it might be. THE MENU, another big turn-off. You worked SO hard on the decor. Put that same energy into presentation. These menus are LITERAL binders with paper in them. It reads like a middle school project. And why is everything aggregated? Cocktails deserve their own dedicated drink menu. Then there's the QR code situation. DELETE the whole thing. Our server couldn't get it to work, ended up printing the bill by hand (an extra 5+ minutes), and then handed us a bill that required downloading the Toast app to pay. Unnecessarily convoluted. Just do it the OLD FASHIONED way. I have no idea what the thinking was here. SERVICE: Our waiter was very nice. But please train your staff to make recommendations. "Hey, have you been here before?" "No, it's your first week." "Then I'd suggest X." That's it. That's the WHOLE script. Also, he had to ask us to repeat our entire order because the music was so loud. (See above.) FOOD: Lamb shank, 8/10. Should be a staple on the menu and promoted with a photo. This thing was OUTSTANDING, melt-in-your-mouth. The whipped mash was so good I'm almost afraid to know what's in it. Great job. Branzino, 5/10. Beautiful cook on the fish, and the sauce and flavors were great, though the portion was small for a branzino. The potatoes, however, were UNDERCOOKED and hard. Cocktails: Not bad at all. Nothing to complain about, keep it up. OVERALL: Wouldn't come back as it stands. OVERPRICED for what's being delivered in its current state. The bones are here: the decor, the lamb, the staff's attitude. Fix the noise, the menus, and the payment circus, and this could be a completely different review.

RIGATONI ALLA VODKA (one has steak added to it)

The place is loud. Not sure why they play the music so loud that you can barely hear the people next to you. Felt like we were yelling at each other. The waitress had to be promoted for water refills. She would come by, see empty glasses, and walk away. Soda refills, you know, $4 a pop, so I understand why she would not ask for that. Ceaser salad was over-dressed; the amount of dressing made the lettuce salty. Also, the pita croutons tasted stale, with no real crunch. Would have rather had a slice of the warm pita. The steak I added to the salad was okay. Nothing special The salmon limone dish was again okay. Nothing that stands out. Lamb chops were cooked to the correct temperature We had two of RIGATONI ALLA VODKA, and one of them was undercooked. We also had several orders of the BUCATINI AL PEPE NERO, and they were okay, very heavily sauced. And the chicken and shrimp were overcooked. The chicken was dry, and the shrimp were rubbery. We had apps. We did the calamari and the cauliflower. Both were super crispy. But some of the calamari was overcooked. And paired with the sauce, just felt heavy and too rich. For the price of the drinks and food I should have gone to Rumis. That feels worth the price and drive.

TLDR: extremely overpriced for what you get. Save your money and go elsewhere. Smells like sewer. Unkept building. Review: We eat out once or twice a week and we go in wanting to like a place. It started in the parking lot. The landscaping is completely overgrown. The weed we parked in front of was as tall as our car. There are plastic flowers staged around the entrance that look like someone saw what Delbar does and tried to copy it on a budget. We hadn't walked through the door yet and we were already adjusting our expectations. Then we walked in and were hit with the smell of sewer. Not a whiff. It took most of the meal before we stopped noticing it. Our server was the biggest problem of the night. She couldn't explain the menu, didn't bring silverware when the food came, and then there was the upselling. Every single course came with a suggestion that costs more, and not once did she disclose it. She recommended a second piece of bread and we said sure. of course, It was an upcharge. My wife ordered a drink and got steered toward a top-shelf tequila. My friend ordered a margarita and got the same treatment. When I ordered the pasta she asked which protein I wanted, phrased like it was included. It was $15. I had to figure this out on my own. That would have been a $30 plate if pasta. One sentence would have fixed all of it: "you can add a protein, the prices are on the menu." She never said it once, all night, to anyone at the table. The whipped lavender appetizer she pushed hardest was plain whipped ricotta. No lavender, nothing special not wirth the price. It came with one piece of bread. Bread was basic Sysco with grill marks for pizazz . (Hey management, Why would an appetizer come with one piece of bread?) My pasta was called Bucatini something Nero, so we assumed black or something with squid ink. It was cream and parmesan. Cooked al dente but chunky instead of velvety, buried under so much parmesan I scraped it off. The burrata was small and cold, which is fine, that's burrata. My friend ordered the lamb shank and got lamb chops. The server fixed it by grabbing someone else's shank. The lamb itself was excellent, genuinely. The pureed potatoes under it were so starchy they were closer to fufu than mashed potatoes. The branzino was fine. My wife's filet mignon was the most expensive thing on the table: five small pieces, bone dry, not a trace of pink anywhere, in a marinade that read sour. The rice next to it was styled to look Middle Eastern and tasted like nothing. The orange sauce on that plate was the best thing we ate all night. Calamari was not bad but the plate had a thick layer of grease. Her prosecco cocktail came out room temperature and flat, garnished with a mint leaf that was half black. I pulled it out before it fell in. It was the only garnish on the drink and they chose to put a huge mint leaf with black rotten parts? Damn. Wild. No non-alcoholic options besides and overpriced rose and some mocktails. This was a Friday at 7pm. A musician was sound checking at full restaurant volume the entire time we ate, same song over and over, adjusting his settings. Four of us at one table could not hear each other. Dessert was actually great. The cheesecake was good. We ordered coffee with it, and she never brought it, never came back to check on the dessert, and never mentioned it again until we asked for the check, at which point she asked if we still wanted it. We wanted to leave. Paying was its own event. You scan a QR code at the table, and she handed us one from a different table that didn't work. Then we found out 20% gratuity had already been added for a party of four. She came back with a printed receipt to walk us through a discount she'd applied, fumbled with it, realized she'd printed the wrong one, disappeared, came back, and showed us $5 off. The $5 was her correcting her own mistake charging us for the wrong lamb. Over $330 for four people. I came home and ate a bowl of cereal. So disappointed

I came here for their soft opening and it was packed! They have valet parking and also parking across the street in BOA parking lot. You will need to scan and pay in the lot across the street. It is a very chic vibe soon as you walk in. The bar is a nice size with various liquor. They hired a DJ and had dancers for the soft opening so it was vibing! They served us with prosecco and they had samplings of what will be on their menu. My favorite was the lollipop chicken with a yogurt sauce. Their Mac and cheese with brisket was also really good. The theme is Mediterranean with Italian influence. I can't wait for their grand opening (Tue 12/23).

Lollipop chicken was reheated, dry and flavorless

My wife was so excited to try this new place but unfortunately we were disappointed. First impression, the decor is beautiful. We were impressed how they transformed that space - truly impressive. Ana, our server, was wonderful. She really did a nice job. Unfortunately none of the rest of the staff seemed to want to be there. Major vibe kill. My Moscow Mule and my wife's mocktail were both excellent. We noticed the beautiful glassware, which makes a difference. My drink stem was sticky however, which is annoying. Details matter. We ordered three tapas, the whipped feta, lollipop chicken and meatballs. Everything came out looking beautiful but we were disappointed that nothing seemed fresh. The meatballs were not hot enough and the tomato sauce was too thick and not fresh. The lollipop chicken seemed like reheated from two days ago. The sauce was flavorless. And even the whipped feta tasted like it had been plated at least a day earlier. And the grilled bread looked beautiful but was neither warm nor fresh. At this price point, the food needs to improve. Finally, and in my opinion the most crucial, it to work on the vibe. Other than Ana, none of the employees were engaging or inviting. Most annoying was having 2-3 servers constantly leaning against the end of the bar on their cell phones. This alone is the primary reason we likely won't be back.

Food is amazing , very nice service from Sofia. Cute atmosphere and good music Easy to parking

I came here for a night out with my brother and mom. Food was delicious. I didn't leave "hungry" but I do think I could've ordered more food. My old fashioned was delicious. Overall a good experience. I will be back! Even for a girls night or a date night.

As we pulled in front of the restaurant, I was very impressed by the modern exterior - very nice! Parking is a breeze - you can valet or self-park in the back of the restaurant. We had reservations but arrived a little early and had to wait about 5-10 minutes to be seated - not a huge deal for a busy Saturday night. Once we got to our table, we had an amazing experience. The table was sprinkled with rose petals and a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Our server, Tony, came promptly to take our order and noted our food allergies and restrictions. Our first course was the seafood tower, which I was able to customize with more shrimp since I'm allergic to oysters. Second, we had the lobster bisque and the burrata & beet salad. Both were divine! For the main course, I had the scallops while my husband had the filet medallions Oscar style, which comes with asparagus. We also ordered two additional sides for sharing - the crab fried rice and truffle mac. You honestly can't go wrong with either dish! We loved our meal but my husband wasn't crazy about the steak. We let our server know and the restaurant accommodated us accordingly. The service here is top notch and we cannot wait to dine here in the near future.

As for the food, it was hit-or-miss. My husband ordered the steak sliders from happy hour menu, but they were disappointing--it was just a small, thick cut of steak placed on a bun, rather than being thinly sliced, and it completely lacked any sauce. I also tried the beet salad from the regular menu, which was truly delicious, but it felt incredibly expensive for what it was. The drink options were a bit of a letdown. The happy hour cocktails seemed to be made with pretty low-end vodka, which threw the flavor profile way off. Because of that, we ended up ordering additional drinks from the regular menu instead--which defeated the whole purpose of going for happy hour. On the positive side, our server was absolutely on point and did a fantastic job, even though she was serving the entire bar by herself. The atmosphere was also lovely--the live band provided great background noise without being overpowering, so the overall vibe definitely worked. While the service and ambiance were great, the happy hour value and overall execution just weren't there for me.

Lots of options for those who love the fishery part of the concept and just as many choices for those that don't. We ordered the bruschetta and enjoyed their take that used fig jam, prosciutto and balsamic glaze instead of the more traditional tomato base. They have house made focaccia that when brought to the table we instantly regretted having ordered the bruschetta, thinking we overdid the bread thing. But we both quickly changed our minds and consumed both with little guilt... I would go back just for the focaccia alone and wish they sold it by the loaf! Pastas are made onsite but they get the gluten free version from a different supplier to avoid risk of cross contamination. Hubby had the wild boar pasta. I had the pork chop. My chop was perfectly grilled and moist. I asked for the marsala sauce on the side since I don't like mushrooms themselves, but enjoy the flavor they can add. The weakest link was the mashed potatoes, served in two round scoops reminiscent of school cafeteria lines. Other than the shape, there was nothing memorable nor particularly flavorful about them. Next time I would try a different side and keep the chop. We didn't save room for dessert this time but will definitely get some next time. And there will definitely be a next time. Moderate price point, not an everyday spot, but shouldn't be saved just for special occasions either.

The vibe here was buzzing on a Friday evening which seemed promising. We opted to sit at the bar which I do NOT recommend if you plan on eating. It is extremely tight seating and the bartenders aren't not trained to serve food or have menu knowledge. The lack of the kitchen staff culinary skills became evident when looking at the menu with many seafood/pasta items being served with one sauce- a goopy cornstarch'ish lemon butter sauce. We wanted to try the scampi appetizer with their house made pasta - sans dairy which meant no lemon butter sauce. That seemed to throw a wrench and there was much back and forth between the BT to the kitchen explaining what that meant aka do not cook the food with butter use olive oil- not so complicated, right? 30 minutes later - despite the kitchen staff not being busy- reminder, we are sitting at the bar and watch the cooks looking at their cellphones instead of working... The small portion of a couple shrimp and scallops arrive. They were panned seared- highly seasoned but tasty. Pasta arrived dry ? Huh? Who serves dry pasta- ugh? I asked for olive oil again which never appeared despite a manager hearing the request. So, moving along, we decided to try the calamari. It came out much faster but the portion was enough for 8-10 people. BT- oh, I forgot to tell you it is such a large portion... Maybe offer a half portion? It was okay- nothing amazing except the quantity. So disappointed- we had high hopes that the vibe matched the food quality.

Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. We were seated near the kitchen, which wasn't a problem. The restaurant had a soccer game on the TV, but it was quiet and there was no indication anything unusual was about to happen. Without warning, a group of approximately eight staff members gathered just a few feet from our table and erupted into an extremely loud celebration, screaming at the top of their lungs as if they were in a sports bar. The outburst startled us so badly that it literally sent my husband into atrial fibrillation (AFib). He was visibly shaken and extremely upset, and we were prepared to leave immediately. Our waiter could clearly see how distressed we were. Since we had already ordered the lobster bites appetizer, he kindly offered to move us to another table. We appreciated his effort and accepted. We finished the appetizer, but by then the evening was ruined, so we left and had dinner elsewhere. What disappointed us most was the complete lack of management involvement. Our waiter knew exactly what had happened and how upset we were, yet not once did a manager come to our table to apologize, ask if my husband was okay, or acknowledge that the staff's behavior was completely inappropriate for a fine dining restaurant. This wasn't about cheering for a game--it was about professionalism. Guests who choose a steakhouse expect a calm, enjoyable atmosphere, not to be startled by employees screaming just feet away from their table. We have always enjoyed Coalition, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope management addresses this with their staff so no other guests have their evening ruined the way ours was. We will not be back. Later Added: I just found out the Manager was one of the ones screaming. Pathetic! We went to PappaDeauxs which was half the price and honestly better food & calm atmosphere! Not a sports bar!

When you walk in, you order at the counter, they give you a number, and they bring your food to you. When they are super busy on weekends or event nights, the food can take up to 45 minutes. When you are in the restaurant, it truly feels like you are at the beach based on the ambiance. I always get the Cabo taco with fried chicken and my boyfriend always mixes it up between fried shrimp and the fried fish sandwich. For drinks I always get the Frozè and it's so refreshing! We highly recommend this place. They opened a new location on the beltline about a year ago and I believe they took their Alpharetta manager with them - we miss her because the service was great with her. Overall 5/5 stars and a great place to take your family!

My order was ready for pick-up in 15-19 minutes. It was ready on-time. I added on a side of the black beans with yellow rice which was excellent. I order all flats. Everything about the flavor, the grilled texture, and the tenderness of these wings is spectacular. They are some of the best I've had, and I love wings. Get these when you go!
