Shrimp with corn, sausage and potatoes
Yvette M.

We came by request by one of my friends for her birthday. You choose your seafood (or combo), sauce and spice level. The price is pricey (market value) but the serving is huge! Plenty of leftovers of my shrimp. If you love seafood, check it out.

The Kickin' Crab is located in a plaza across from Regal Cinemas. I ordered the lunch special, which is 1 lb of your choice of shrimp, mussels, or crawfish. I had 1 lb shrimp--no head with 1 corn and 1 egg for $14.99. I also had the garlic noodles appetizer, which is enough to share! The dining experience is casual and clean. Plenty of seating and nice service. It wasn't too busy, so my food was prepared quickly. The meal was hot and fresh and overall tasted good. I got the Kickin' Style sauce, which had an unexpected sweetness; also, the spice was more than medium as requested. Aside from these things, it was all good. I would definitely try again, likely with a different sauce and spice level.

King crab 1 pound

Crab nicely steamed, got the king and snow crab. Potatoes and corn on the cob perfectly cooked. The only thing I would like done differently is sauces left on the side for dipping instead of coating the crab legs. They do give you plastic gloves, but those quickly get away, slide off, or get torn by the crab legs.

This is my favorite seafood boil spot . The seasoning here is just right with a lot of garlic and Cajun flavor but it's not too salty either. The garlic noodles is my go to side and the noodles combined with the boil sauce makes it really good.My wife loves the live crawfish boil when it's in season. The service offers great hospitality and they are Attentive. They have tvs every where and plenty of booths for large party's. Overall if you're looking for great seafood boil spot , this is worth a try.

First time visit here tonight, I was craving a well seasoned crawfish boil and they did not disappoint! I mean the seasonings, the spice level and the juicy well sized crawfish were perfection! I felt like I was back home on in my cousins yard enjoying a boil with family! I fed my belly and spirit! The ambience is spacious, modern and very clean. I hate that I didn't get our severs name but he was excellent! I live a good 45 minutes or so away bit while crawfish are in season I'll be back again and again!

Finally got a chance to try The Kickin' Crab after wanting to for MONTHS, and this place didn't disappoint. From the speed of service, to the amazing portions, to the friendly staff - my husband and I will for sure be here again. I didn't know what to expect as I had not heard of this place before nor had I searched the menu in detail prior to arriving. I only knew they had fried shrimp and for me (in that moment) it was enough. The interior was quite large and seated many customers. I visited on a Saturday night and it was quite busy but not overcrowded by any means. My husband and I ordered a handful of items: Shrimp Tacos, Garlic Noodles, KC Gumbo, and the Fried Shrimp and Fries. All was great. All had amazing flavor. I would say that from each of the items we ordered, the Gumbo would be the only one that I wouldn't consider to be a sharing size. If you like "garlic," the Garlic Noodles are for you. Not sure if the Shrimp Garlic Noodles option has fried or grilled shrimp, but either way I'm sure it would be just as fabulous. Our server Theo was super polite and if not for the food alone, I would be back simply for his great service!

1 SNOW CRAB SPECIAL

Once my friend suggested we get a seafood boil for lunch, how could I say no? This restaurant is located near my workplace so I was already familiar with the area and all the other restaurant options in the plaza. We walked in and were immediately led to our table. We missed the lunch special by a few minutes but their drink special was going (3pm - 6pm), so we started by ordering $6 green tea shot cocktails. This is hands down the best place that I've had this drink at, with the perfect mixture ratio. I ended up ordering the $29.99 special that comes with 1 crab cluster, 1/2 lb of shrimp, corn, potato, and I switched the sausage for an egg. My friend ordered the 2 crab clusters special with the same sides but an extra corn and potato instead of the sausage. We both decided on the cajun sauce however I went with mild spicy while she got medium. Our bags came out after a few minutes and I appreciated how they poured them into trays for ease of digging in. Everything tasted PHENOMENAL with more than enough sauce included, the proper heat level, and the seafood cooked to perfection. Other side notes, there was well known music playing during our visit and the waiters checked up on us constantly instead of never returning to the table. I will definitely be coming back here and will be telling my friends to visit at least once for a tasty and affordable seafood boil.

Kickin Crab Location!

This was our first time here, wanting to find a seafood boil place near Alpharetta (Avalon) area. 20 mins (or less) is this gem. Rating: If I could give 100 stars, I would. Let me start by saying my husband and I are ULTIMATE foodies. We look for the quality of food, the freshness, the quantity, and wait time. If you are looking for a seafood boil place like Juicy Crab ... this is 1000 times BETTER! Ambiance & Service: We arrived around 7PM on a Friday night (before spring break) and were immediately seated. This restaurant is a laid back, easy breezy type of vibe. Dai (pronounced Dye) was our server and man oh man am I glad we got him. Not only was he friendly but honest! And you know that goes a LOOOONG way especially if you've never been to a restaurant before. He made recommendations and that truly made our experience even better. Food: Now the part you've been waiting for. THE FOOD! We were allowed to sample the medium "Kickin Style" seasoning . Dai did mention it was spicy and it was the perfect amount. We both decided to use this seasoning on our combos. My food. To drink I had the frozen lime margarita & the Kickin' Combo Deal #2 with snow crab legs (3 clusters), shrimp (head off which we were told was an up charge ahead of time), & crawfish with 2 corns, 2 potatoes, & 4 sausages (already sliced). My husband's food. To drink he had the Sweetwater 420 & the Kickin' Combo Deal #2 with the whole lobster (suggested by Dai), shrimp, and crawfish with 2 corns, 2 potatoes, & 4 sausages. He also included 2 eggs (up charge) These combos did NOT disappoint nor the service as Andy the manager came over as well and checked in. I can go on & on about how great this place is but if you've made it this far ... it's time to experience for yourself, you won't regret it!

First time customer. I will say the sauce I choose (all of them) is the best I've had at a crab spot. Perfectly created not salty or very spicy just right. I will def be back. You can tell the seafood is not cooked in the sauce they put the sauce on it. Other than that it was good.

The outside, plenty of parking .

I so glad I read the review and discovered this gem. My seafood boil was absolutely delicious. I ordered the snow crab special with their KC sauce. The young lady (Ani), let me try it before ordering. It was soooo good . I will definitely the coming back here again . Thank you .

We were so excited that this store came to this area! It is hard to find a good Cajun restaurant in this area of town! I was informed that they opened up 10 days ago and there are already great reviews -- I understand why! FOOD: there are a good variety of foods including low country boils to fried shrimp to fried fish. The price was $$$ but there was also a lot of food. The combo #1 was a lot for 2 people. The Cajun fries were recommended to us and it was nice seasoning but would have preferred the thick instead of thin fries. SERVICE: so friendly and helpful! They even gave us a welcome 10% off discount. AMBIANCE: very clean, well thought out layout with hand washing stations, open (ish) kitchen, lots of good natural lighting. It would be nice if there were lunch promotions/specials but understand this is a chain so hard to do that. In general, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Easy no frills place to get seafood. You can find things reasonably priced and up if you want a smorgasbord. They also serve cocktails!

Juju Seafood | Duluth, GA…read more Juju Seafood is a Korean restaurant that has customizable seafood boils, Korean seafood dishes, and late-night Korean comfort food. The owner is very cool and friendly. Is a pretty small place and got a cool chill vibe. I like they open late. Here's everything we tried: Spicy Chicken Feet Stew A generous 2-3 person portion loaded with bean sprouts that soak up all the flavorful sauce. The chicken feet were braised until incredibly tender, and the broth was spicy, rich, and incredibly addictive. The rice that came with it needs more mayo, so is more creamy and bc is not sticking together to make it into a ball. Beef & Shrimp Pancakes (Recommend ) Mini Korean-style pancakes served half beef and half shrimp with a chili soy dipping sauce. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Garlic Butter Seafood Boil (Recommend ) One of their signature dishes! You can customize your own seafood boil with your favorite seafood and seasoning. We chose the Garlic Butter flavor, and it was rich, buttery, and packed with garlic without being overwhelming. Spicy Braised Chicken & Crab Stew Available Fridays and Saturdays only, with only 10 portions made each day. The sweet and spicy broth is cooked with potatoes and fragrant perilla leaves that add so much flavor. First come, first served! Lychee Soju (My Favorite , but little pricy) Served with one whole lychee per shot! Fruity, refreshing, and so smooth that you could barely taste the soju.

We really enjoy JuJu. It's a small spot and it can get busy, but the team is always attentive. If…read moreservice gets slow, the call button helps. The food is consistently great -- we especially love the wings and the Asian options.

Pour that on with the butter, now that's a good thought. They need something to make it stand out. I tried the shrimp and grits. First thing first, don't get this dish if you're really hungry. They bring it out in a really big bowl and it's just a little bit.. the chicken sausage is cut up whole like chopped hotdogs. It really looks lazy and unappealing. The flavor wasn't bad, not great, but not nasty. Nothing special at all. Now for the restaurant itself (decor), I liked it. I think it's a great setting for lunch indoors or outdoors. I'd try them again for dinner to see if it's better, but going back for brunch, not likely.

The atmosphere was vibrant with groups ranging from date nights to families to large parties, that may have been co-workers. I was able to sit at a table with booth on one side large enough to accommodate me and my date. Despite being a full house on a Wednesday, we were able to converse without shouting and observe all the other patrons. The menu consisted of several drink selections ranging from cocktails to wines and beer on one side and small plates, entrées, and sides on the other. There was also a holiday drink menu in addition to the large wine list in a separate book. We started with the holiday themed Maple old-fashioned. It was quite tasty, but not for me due to the inclusion of walnut bitters. Allergies prevented me from fully enjoying that drink which consisted of bourbon to give it the holiday feel. My second beverage, which doubled as dessert was an eggnog flavored cocktail called Crème de Noel that was absolutely delicious! It consisted of bourbon, cognac, rum and flavored with cinnamon, allspice, fennel and ginger. We started off with the small plates, including crab cakes, and a beet carpaccio. Both were beautiful creations. The crabcakes had good flavor, but were way too small to be considered cakes... more like balls! The beet salad looked amazing, but was off-limits for me due to the inclusion of pistachios. May try during a future visit with the request for nut removal. We ordered one dish to share, and settled on the Halibut Oscar after several consultations with our amazing, knowledgeable server Niko. Niko provided great service and insight on many of the items we requested. He was pleasant and not pushy, allowing us time to peruse the menus and settle on our selections. The halibut was a decent size and accompanied by the thousand layer potato, which resembled a pan fried potato rectangle. All rested on a bed of asparagus. We had requested the sauce which included lump crab meat on the side, and it was the perfect pairing for the halibut! We conversed with the bartender on the way out and learned about the many bar offerings. This is also where I met the artist, Dru Molen, who produced many of the beautiful pieces of art throughout the restaurant. Will return to taste more of the menu selections
