This place is the real deal! I appreciate the clean and well-themed interior, the fair pricing, and the extremely fresh seafood. The cashier who helped us was so kind, and even alerted us that the tostadas they received were broken. She asked if we were OK with broken tostadas (why not? We're going to break them when eating lol) and when they arrived they looked near-perfect. I was so happy with the lunch special, generous portions of beans and rice and the tostada was a good portion of shrimp. Loved the flavors and as I said, everything was fresh--which is a must for these types of restaurants. She asked if we wanted hot sauce, and the one she gave us was super tasty and super spicy (habanero). I really can't wait to go back, please give this place a try! read more

This place is one I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu! I had 2 tostadas with shrimp, fish, pico and sliced avocados with a good portion of rice. First, service is great. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Second, the food was delicious. It's fresh and a healthy option. Third, the price was reasonable, especially for the volume and content. Seafood isn't necessarily low-cost when there is lots of shrimp, fish and avocado. There was at least half an avocado in mine! read more

She made good recommendations, taught me a little about the different styles of Colombian food based on the regions and various cultural influences. Food: They sell Colombian inspired seafood dishes. I ordered "The Savannah." Shrimp covered in a Colombian seafood sauce, served over your choice of rice or grits. I am a southern girl, shrimp and grits lover, so of course I went with grits! Different from your cajun-style shrimp and grits, but still good. These aren't creamy/cheesy grits, but they are REAL grits. Definitely not instant... which I can appreciate. This dish was spicy and full of flavor. (Side-note: I don't know how I took a picture of everything except the main dish, lol). I also had a sample of the lentil soup. I enjoyed this as well. She also adds mangos on it which gives it a beautiful salty, sweet, and tangy flavor. The ceviche also comes with the option of rice or Tostitos! I love going here for lunch. You walk in and at the counter is the sweetest server I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She greets you with a welcoming "Hello" and asks questions while you're ordering so you know what you're getting. I dare to say she cares that you will enjoy what you are eating. When I go here I normally get the Punta Canoa Ceviche. Today I added the Small Las Palmas with only shrimp (because it normally comes with octopus) and I was not disappointed. The woman at the counter went through popular hot and cold dishes and pointed me to the perfect ceviche for my tastes. I got the number 1. She even brought out a homemade hot sauce for me and it was PERFECT since the mango and avocado in the ceviche cut right through the heat. She did mention they had a habanero hot sauce but that's not my jam.
