I got the MAMA'S MARDI GRAS plate and the proportion size definitely surprised me! I been to a lot of crawfish restaurants and the quality here is definitely #1! Each seafood was very fresh and big! I also really enjoyed the soy garlic wings! They were really crispy and don't get me started with their $1 oysters! So very yummy and fresh! Not fishy at all and slides right into your mouth! The oysters were already prepared so you didn't have to use a fork to remove them from the inside of the shell, just a simple slurp and they taste so so delicious (: For the seafood platter, I got their butter garlic sauce. It tasted good but I felt like it was missing something. Perhaps more Cajun or spiciness? However, the reason why I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I did request extra hot spice level and I felt like it was at best it was a mild to medium spicy level. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if spiciness isn't important to you in a seafood boil! read more

Stumbled upon this place while searching for raw oysters. Lucky me, right now they are running a special for $1 oysters every day. The oysters were very fresh and large with a mild briny taste that was refreshing. We decided to try out the seafood boil as well and opted for one of the premade combo B because it had our favorite green mussels. The combo also had shrimp, snow crab, crawfish and 2 each potato and corn. Perfect for splitting. The boil was cooked to perfection. The craw came out easily and whole, the corn was sweet and so juicy it ran down my hand. I ordered a side of cream noodle to go with the boil. The noodle price is more expensive for a side but the amount is enough to split. When we stopped by it was a Thursday evening, and the inside was pretty empty, just one or two other tables while we were there. The restaurant is nestled between a few hotel/motels and not too far from the highway so I was surprised to find it wasn't super busy. I did notice they did quite a few take out orders. Inside is the standard seafood boil decor, think ocean and fishing. Service was very fast and our waiter was very nice. He kept coming back to check and see how we liked the food. We will definitely be back, i hope to try the wings next time! read more

I love this place! Came here like 3x in one week because it was so good! They have dollar oysters deal every day and it's very very fresh! I always get the make your own and usually get the crawfish and shrimp and sometimes with the combo for additional 5dollars. As you can see in the picture they give you a lot of food! Mama's Crawfish & Wings is seriously underrated... and I almost wanted to gatekeep this place. For me, they are the best seafood boil in the Metro Atlanta area, with affordable price and high quality. Their Cajun butter garlic seasoning is addictive, and if you are used to the Asian spice levels, their "extra hot" is more like a medium. Here's what we ordered: 5 lbs of crawfish for $59.99 (an absolute steal!), 2 lbs of shrimp combo, which comes with potatoes, corn, broccoli, and noodles/pastas, 1 large gumbo (wouldn't recommend--it was more like a bowl of soggy rice than soup), and 6 fried oysters with what might be the best cocktail sauce I've had. The crawfish and shrimp were incredibly fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. My super-critical, Type A Asian dad approved . My boyfriend, who usually drinks the entire glass of water with every meal, barely touched his drink because he was too busy stuffing his face. And my brother made a mess without caring one bit--he was way more focused on the food than looking presentable. The service deserves a 100/10. Our waiter was so kind and patient, especially since it was our first time there. Safe to say, this place earned a spot on my favorites list. Got a hotel next door. Completely empty restaurant. Ordered a 10 piece wing and 3 blue cheese. Guy I didn't order from gave me one blue cheese and after I questioned him proceeded to tell me I ordered one blue cheese and in the future it's $1 for each blue cheese while his restaurant have 3 customers. I completely understand what when you allow morons to run restaurants they fail. Their cooler has failed twice while I have been Nextdoor and the rotten fish smell is strong. Absolutely fantastic night at Mama's Crawfish and Wings on a Thursday night! Wasn't too busy so my good friend and I enjoyed a seafood boil feast in a very relaxing and cool environment coupled with a clean restaurant and very positive vibe! I recommend coming on a non peak time like weekday night if you want to enjoy a very laid back and server attentive with friendly customer service. Amy (sp?) was super helpful and friendly and brought the whole experience together. As far as the food goes, the seafood boil was fantastic! We ordered combo B and added a crab, pound of shrimp, corn and noodles a la carte and the portion was generous and enough for some take home doggie bag so I could share with my wife and kids at home. We went with the Cajun butter hot seasoning sauce and to be frank at first it was a little spicier than I expected but as we dug into the meal more the spice level balanced out and it was a truly fantastic and memorable meal. I might suggest mild or regular spice level for those who do not have a high spice tolerance. We ordered a pitcher of the premium draft IPA and we really enjoyed ourselves to seafood boil and a pitcher of fine refreshing ice cold brewskies! 5 star night, 2 thumbs up experience, and a solid 5 star for Mama's Crawfish and Wings of Suwanee! read more

spent over $50 on a couple shrimp, mussels , 1 weak cluster of snow crab and a couple crawfish that were big enough to eat. I threw away almost all the crawfish bc they were small. It looked like a lot until I discovered 2 pounds of broccoli underneath so that it could prop up the seafood to make it appear like a lot. It today's economy i can't stand deception.i didn't order 2 pounds of broccoli and don't appreciate cheap tricks. I paid extra for a boiled egg assuming it would be in the sauce but no, it was a plain ass cold egg Brought on the side. paid $7 for 6 ($2.50 in value)tiny hush puppies bc I like to dip in the sauce.....the sauce was mostly water . I'm giving two stars because the service was good (slow but good). They wanted things to be great. Sadly, it just fell short. The food lacked flavor. I didn't enjoy the shrimp/corn/potato with garlic butter at all. The prices.... Just wow. Want a single little nibbler? 1.99. Want a singular new potato 1.99. 4 chicken tenders 12.99... but WAIT if you want fries, that'll be 5,00. Then to add insult to injury.. we had three adults and 3 children under 12 (one was under 6). They added a 20 percent tip for a large party. We a damn family cleaning up after our kids ourselves. I personally will never go back. There are so many, much better places to go to. Do yourself a favor and try Louisiana Shack. They serve massive portions, fresh and flavorful shrimp, their chicken tenders and fried shrimp are fantastic and their fries are great. It wasn't busy at 5:30 on a Wednesday evening. My server was very friendly and prompt. There were several tv's for your viewing pleasure. I started with the oysters on the half shell, which I didn't see on the menu, but is advertised on the napkin holder. These were large, fresh, and juicy. The price was a steal! I ordered the 10 shrimp combo which came with a generous portion of French fries and a couple hush puppies. The shrimp were good size and plump with a light and crispy batter.
