I had no idea this place existed until recently. I love Chinese skewers and have been looking for a good spot. The skewers were full of flavor, tender, and juicy. The soy sauce fried rice was a 10/10! Really flavorful and you can taste that wok fire. The double cooked pork was crispy and the sweet and sour sauce compliments it very well. They also have extra utensils and plastic gloves on the side of the table. My only complaint is that the aluminum grill isn't heated so the skewers get cold pretty quickly. Also, the prices are on the higher side for the portion sizes Our bill came out to a little over $80. I also felt rushed. The staff kept checking in to see if we were done. After about an hour and a half they asked us to leave. So it's not really a place to enjoy the meal and chat. Overall very flavorful but pricey.

The food was delicious. We waited over an hour for our table, but it ended up being worth it. By the time we were full, we realized our scallop order never came out. When I mentioned it while asking for the check, they insisted they hadn't forgotten and said scallops take longer to cook. However, the table next to us, who was seated after we ordered, received their scallops before we did. After we had already paid the bill, we still had to wait another 15 minutes for the scallops to finally arrive

YH BBQ & Crab in Duluth did not disappoint! We tried a little bit of everything and it was amazing! For skewers, we ordered the beef, lamb, chicken wings, chicken, shrimp, and squid. Every single one had great flavor, cooked just right, and the seasoning really stood out. The lamb & beef skewers were definitely my favorite! The salted egg yolk corn was SOO good. Crispy, rich, and super addictive. The roasted eggplant was soft, smoky, and full of flavor, and the fried rice tied everything together so well. One dish I wasn't expecting to enjoy as much as I did was the stir-fried spicy chicken bones. Crunchy, spicy, and just packed with flavor. Definitely something different and worth trying if you've never had it before. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was fast and friendly. Portions are generous and prices are fair for the amount and quality of food. I'll 100% be coming back!

I went to YH on a Thursday night with some friends. It was all our first time visiting. The parking is in the same plaza as Teso Life and many other popular restaurants, so it can be busy during very popular times Even on a Thursday night, we had a 20 minute wait, so the restaurant is definitely popular. The inside of the restaurant is very beautiful, and the booths are very private. Even though it is busy, it is easy to forget about the other people in the restaurant due to the way the tables are set up. My friends and I were excited to try this place since we always see how busy it was, and we ordered a lot. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the skewers because we were absolutely starving, and they were going fast. In terms of skewers, we got fatty beef, pork belly, pork belly with enoki mushrooms, lamb, special beef, chicken gizzards, and green beans. I would say that the only ones we really like were lamb and special beef. We wanted to order other popular skewers like Wagyu beef, but there were two big parties and it seemed like they cleared those out before us. The skewers we ordered were very small, and I personally don't know if they were worth it. All the skewers also have the same seasoning, and I think our tastebuds were wishing for even a dip to kind of break it up. I would actually say the skewers were disappointing, but the actual dishes on the restaurant were delicious. The spicy stir fried shrimp were a highlight for the group, and we were fighting to finish it between each other. The eggplant was to die for, and the cilantro topping it really tied the sauce together. We did order a bowl of rice here for $2, and it was a very small portion that wasn't cooked well. If you're craving rice, I would recommend skipping it and going for the kimchi fried rice as that was really good. The restaurant is definitely fun to chat with friends, but we personally wouldn't be back since we thought the skewer portions were small.

YH BBQ & Crab in Duluth exceeded expectations! I was a bit hesitant since I'm not typically a big fan of Szechuan cuisine, but I ended up thoroughly enjoying everything. We went in on the skewer's : fatty beef, wagyu, chicken gizzard, pork belly, pork intestine, oyster mushrooms, tripe, and squid. Each was flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The standouts for me were the fatty beef and the pork intestine, which had a wonderfully crispy texture. To round it out, we added egg fried rice, which complemented the meal nicely. For the seafood boil, we tried snow crab, crawfish, and shrimp with the spicy garlic butter flavoring. The snow crab legs were impressively large and tasty. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was the scallops with noodles. It was a little too oily for me, and honestly it felt like there was way more garlic and noodles than actual scallops. Definitely wouldn't order that again Atmosphere = lively, service = quick, portions = generous. 10/10 would risk crab juice all over my shirt again.

I honestly really love this place! Everything ive ordered is so good! Service is fast as well but when busy the food does come out a little slower.

We love this place, the flavor is top tier. They have some unique dishes too like my favorite bamboo shoots cold dish. Tangy, delicious and refreshing and peppers give it a little kick but can be easily removed. Price is a bit higher but the quality is also quite high. The only downside is the wait to be seated can take a while since they get so busy! Worth the wait.

Brought a few friends here this past weekend as I hadn't been since they opened. Was presently suprised to see their menu had expanded. Decor: 4/5 It's a cute little place and the interior is mostly wood finished. I'd say it'd be a nice first date place. Not too fancy but great vibes. Service: 5/5 The servers were very attentive and orders were taken all by iPad. I was really impressed that after the meal any if the dishes we wanted to take home were bagged for us. I expect this at high end restaurants but was super suprised a little quaint chinese restaurant would do this as well. Most of the time they give you the to go boxes and wish you luck lol. The to go bag was really nice and sturdy too. More like a tote. Food: 4/5 We ordered the following dishes Mouth watering chicken: really good and was pleasantly surpised to find it slightly sweet. I wish it was more spicy and numbing though but the presentation was really beautiful. 4/5 Sizzling garlic shrimp with vermicelli: SOOO GOOD! I love garlic and those noodles just soak up all that garlic flavor and make it devine! Definately get this dish! 5/5 Stirfry string bean: these were okay I've had better. Also not spicy so was meh. Id say skip these 3/5 Stir fried spicy clams: these were really good too. We actually got 2 orders od this bc u thought we'd run out quick. We in fact did not lol. Portions were pretty fair. A bit sweet and tangy. I wanted these to be spicier too lol. Honestly guys I don't handle spice well. I can do a medium spicy at most places so I keep saying I want spicier bc I think they're catering more to an American palette. Good to try and id order again but not very spicy. 3/5 House Special Grilled Fish - this was such a great dish! The fish was crispy, the mala was hitting, the veggies were all great choices but I'm slightly annoyed that despite being a Market Priced dish ($45) They give you literally the tiniest fish. I know it looks big but trust me with my group of 5 people only 3 pple got a good portion of it. The rest is veggies. Would not order again based solely on the fact that the fish portion is not worth it 2/5 Mapo tofu - I had a craving for mapo tofu and this is one of the better places for it. Everything was amazing about this dish. Would definatly order this again 5/5 Overall: 4/5 I actually like this place. It's a solid szchuan choice for the area and their portions (other than the fish) are pretty big. Id come back again. We got 6 dishes over all and after tip our total came out to I think $220ish? Also posting their menu bc it's expanded a bit.

Great location within the sweethut plaza with plenty of parking. Skewers - We ordered a medley of varied meats including beef, beef tendon, pork intestines, lamb skewers. Meat was super tender, smokey, and flavorful. It was actually nostalgic like eating those chuan-ers in the streets of bejing. The taste was definitely authentic and delicious 5/5 Greenbeans - well flavored, and crunchy 4/5 Double Fried Pork Slices - Double fried means EXTRA CRUNCHY, and that's what you get with this outer shell. Topped with a sweet and sour sauce, this is definitely one of my favorites 5/5 The flavors here are packed and they stay true to their origins. I'd come back again. My only gripe is the prices were a bit high. . Would definitely want to come back and try the other items. It is more on the pricey side. Also in case you also thought the grill looking thing would grill or keep your food warm, it doesn't. It's just for aesthetics

I really came here because I wanted to eat Chinese barbecue. I was kind of disappointed because in the picture where there's a brown wooden box. That box was just for decoration. It didn't actually light up to keep the food warm. So I felt like I was constantly having to eat the food fast because it got cold. The whole restaurant is decorated in a wooden theme. There's a little wooden cubby seats, and wooden Chinese decor. I will say the service here isn't the best in terms of friendliness. Our server looked irritated when I asked for the Chinese dry bbq seasoning. Which I think is interesting because they normally just have it on the table. Overall, we didn't have a problem with our server. I just didn't think he was the friendliest. The bus boys were amazing. They kept refilling our water! In terms of price for the flavor and quality of the food I definitely think this was very overpriced. I think I paid six dollars for that corn, and it said 10 pieces on the menu, but I didn't think it would be 10 tooth pick pieces. The squid was $15 and honestly, it wasn't good at all. The squid was overcooked. It was very rubbery, and it lacked flavor. The soy glaze ribs were kind of disappointing in flavor. There was not much flavor to them, and I believe this was $6 for 2 pc. It looked like they gave us only one rib because it was cut into 2 pieced, so we ordered two orders. The $6 mushroom was probably the one that had the most flavor. The special beef stick was $4, and it didn't have a lot of meat on it or flavor. We also ordered the fatty beef $8.99, which I didn't get a picture of that one was nine dollars. It came exactly like the corn with "10 pieces ", but it was on very tiny sticks. It came with one tiny sliver of meat on each stick.. The last thing I ordered was beef tendons for $9.99, I didn't get a picture of it, which I wish I did because it was severely undercooked. Again with the tiny toothpick It wasn't so undercooked that I couldn't eat it, but I basically had to drown it in the spice rub so I could swallow it. I also ordered the A5 Wagyu 5pc for $8.99 which was kind of anticlimactic. I do realize these prices are only slightly more expensive than most Chinese barbecue spots, but I feel like if you're gonna charge this much you should have the flavor down. I think we ended up paying over $60 for a meal and we left with being still hungry actually. I could've gotten all you can eat Korean barbecue with that price, but it wasn't a terrible experience. I don't know if I would come here again. I wasn't full after my meal even though we ordered a lot, and the prices were just not very reflected in quality and taste. I think if you're here for just the experience and the aesthetics then yeah this is good because they are very decorated.

8.5/10 Overall: the food was super delicious and my friends and I enjoyed both the skewers and the pork dish! Service was very quick for the skewers but the pork did take a while to come out. For everything we ordered, it came out to around $18 per person + tax and tip. I really wanted to try their seafood boil but unfortunately the minimum amount was 3lbs which was too much for our party of 3. Pork belly with enoki mushroom skewer $3.49/pc: 4/5 i really enjoyed the texture of the enoki mushroom wrapped in thin and perfectly charred pork belly! The mushroom was crunchy and the pork belly complimented it super well. Special beef skewer $3.99/pc: 3.5/5 this one was super delicious! The seasoning was very flavorful and the meat was super tender. In my opinion, it was a bit expensive for how much meat was on the skewer, bringing its rating down a little bit more. Double cooked pork slices $22.99: 4/5 this was my personal favorite dish! The pork was super crispy and crunchy and the sauce was a sweet and sour mixture. It came with a side of rice which complimented the meat very well. My only concern was that some of the pork slices were too thin, making it a little hard.

this is one of my favorite places. The food has so much flavor. I usually get the shrimp that's buried in garlic and chilies. The honey Saur pork is amazing and I can't help but destroy the roof of my mouth because I won't wait for it to cool. The skewers are well seasoned. There's not much I don't like on the menu the deep fried whole fish is a favorite of my wife. The only reason you will not like a dishes because you do not like the main ingredient. I try to stop by here whenever you can. I usually go early part of the week to avoid the big crowds.

If you enjoy authentic Sichuan cuisine, this place delivers bold flavors, generous portions, and dishes that taste like they were made for people who appreciate real Chinese cooking. On our visit, we ordered the Fish Fillet & Beef In Hot Spicy Sauce with SoyBean Sprouts & Sichuan Pepper, Boiled Fish Fillet in Soy Sauce, Mouth-Watering Chicken in Cold Spicy Sauce W/Ground Peanuts, Pork Belly Slices W/ Preserved Vegetables and Spicy Noodles with Ground Pork and Peanuts, along with rice to soak up every last bit of sauce. The Spicy Boiled Fish and Beef was the star of the meal. The large bowl arrived covered with fragrant chili oil, dried chilies, and Sichuan spices. The fish and beef were incredibly tender and silky, while the broth delivered layers of heat, aroma, and numbing spice without overwhelming the flavor of the fish. Every bite was rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. In contrast, the Boiled Fish Fillet in Soy Sauce showcased the kitchen's finesse with more delicate flavors. The fish was exceptionally fresh, flaky, and perfectly cooked, served in a light soy-based sauce with scallions and greens. It allowed the natural sweetness of the fish to shine and provided a wonderful balance to the spicier dishes on the table. The Chicken in Cold Spicy Sauce with Ground Peanuts was another standout. The chicken was moist and tender, dressed with fragrant chili oil, garlic, cilantro, and crunchy toppings that added texture and freshness. It was refreshing yet packed with flavor and made for an excellent appetizer. We enjoyed it with steamed rice. The Braised Pork Belly was beautifully prepared, with alternating layers of meat and fat that practically melted in your mouth. The rich soy-based braising sauce was savory with a touch of sweetness, making it the perfect companion to a bowl of steamed rice. The Spicy Noodles with Ground Pork and Peanuts were simple but incredibly addictive. The chewy noodles, savory minced pork, roasted peanuts, and fresh greens created a perfect combination of textures and flavors. Once mixed together, every bite delivered a satisfying balance of richness, crunch, and subtle heat. What impressed me most about Humble House was the authenticity of the food. The flavors are bold and unapologetically traditional, the portions are generous, and each dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The setting is casual since it's located inside the supermarket food court. If you're looking for authentic Sichuan and Chinese comfort food in Duluth, Humble House is absolutely worth a visit. Whether you're craving fiery boiled fish, comforting braised dishes, flavorful cold appetizers, or satisfying noodle bowls, this spot delivers. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

We found a restaurant not far from the matcha shop. It felt more like a Chinese takeout spot than a traditional sit-down restaurant, so there wasn't much to speak of in terms of decor. We decided to share everything we ordered. The first dish we tried was the Szechuan noodles. The flavor was excellent, but unfortunately, the dish arrived only lukewarm, as it appeared to have been sitting for a while before being brought to the table. Next, we ordered soup dumplings, but the restaurant accidentally brought out pan-seared dumplings instead. Thankfully, they let us keep them while they prepared our original order. The pan-seared dumplings were actually very good--piping hot and full of flavor. When the soup dumplings finally arrived, they were decent but didn't quite live up to the pan-seared version and lacked the same level of flavor. Finally, our Szechuan chicken arrived. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. The chicken was crispy with a great spice profile that delivered the classic Szechuan kick without being overwhelming. It was served with fried rice, which was fine but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, the experience was good but not exceptional. The food had some strong points, especially the Szechuan chicken and pan-seared dumplings, but the restaurant ultimately felt more like a solid Chinese takeout spot than a destination dining experience.

We were walking around the shopping complex this restaurant is located in, and decided to dine here…read moreon a whim- SO glad we did! Want to start off by saying that we had such great service here- our waitress answered all our questions and was very attentive. Ambiance is good as well. Lots of parking available. We got a couple of things: - Pan fried pork buns: The bun was nice & fluffy with a crispy bottom and juicy meat filling. The sauce it came with was great too- perfectly sweet & vinegary. - Dry beef mixed noodles: The beef was super tender, and the noodles were flavorful. This is meant to be a cold dish, but my mom was a bit hesitant about that and they were more than willing to serve it hot! (I definitely recommend having it cold though haha) - Szechuan Numbed Pepper Broth: Got this with fatty beef. I know some similar places let you put the fillings into the broth yourself, but ours came already assembled (which is what I personally prefer). We loved how mala this broth is, probs my favorite dish we got. Also loved the texture and lightness of the rice noodles. Lots of great fillings like quail egg, spam, wood ear mushroom, cabbage. - Korean Kimchi Broth: Got this with pork chop (though actually it was pork ribs). This is a great choice if you want a tomato-y broth that has a hint of spice and acidity. Another instance of the great service because the pork ribs were kind of hard to eat with our utensils and when we asked if they could possibly cut it up, they did not hesitate to do so. Also, the pork was (again) so tender! Would, no doubt, come back for another meal here. 10/10 would recommend!

Not sure I'd return, mostly because i felt like i was inconveniencing the staff but glad we tried it. The inside is actually really pretty and you can tell they put thought and effort into it. I loved the wallpapers!

Perfect if you're looking to celebrate more intimately with your group. We got their Go chu jap chae, Cream shrimp, Jjambbong, Tangsuyuk, and Seafood jaengban. It was my first time having Go chu jap chae but I really enjoyed all the bell peppers and onions with thin cuts of beef. The fluffy rolls were just a plus. Cream shrimp were also fluffy but my favorite dishes were definitely the Jjambbong and Seafood jaengban. It was difficult to say which one I liked better because they were both delicious in their own ways! The Tangsuyuk was also crispy with the sweet and sour dipping sauce on the side. Overall, my friends and I had a great time. The food was fantastic, the portions were hefty, and the prices were justified. Staff were attentive and efficient so I can't wait to come again. Come check them out, you won't regret it!

The jajangmyun sauce comes in varying degrees of spiciness, but even the medium isn't too bad; has a slight kick but doesn't take away from the overall taste. The tang soo yuk also has two different batter options, one is little chewier than the other, but it was recommended to me by the waitress and definitely enjoyed it with their sweet and sour sauce. The waitresses there have always been very attentive and professional, never regret leaving a big tip because they definitely worked for it. Overall, ambiance is pretty noisy as there are a lot of seats and since it's a very family orientated restaurant, it's usually been packed with families enjoying a meal. The restaurant also shares a parking lot with a Tesla super charger, so it was perfect for me to plug my car in while I eat.
