We tried several different halal meat options, plus so many sides, so it was definitely a lot of bang for your buck. Our server, JJ, made the experience even better. He was funny, attentive, patient, and gave great recommendations throughout the night. We were a pretty big party with lots of questions and constant refill requests, but he handled everything so well and made us feel really taken care of. Amazing KBBQ! We've been to a few different KBBQ locations and none come close to ARI. The Wagyu is definitely worth it if you enjoy the sides, I highly recommend the chicken katsu, and tater-tots, but realistically the Ari AYCE option is great. The server offered to cook our food for us, which was very helpful when we were talking, but also allowed us to serve ourselves as we pleased. The room was open, but still felt like we had our own space to spend quality time together. Highly recommend, stick to the Ari AYCE unless you are looking for something specific. I had passed by ARI Korean BBQ a few times and finally decided to give it a try this past Saturday. From the moment my partner and I walked in, the service stood out. Staff were quick to seat us, and our waiter was consistently attentive. The space itself is elegantly decorated and had an upscale atmosphere. They were offering a summer lunch deal: Wagyu All-You-Can-Eat for $46.99, which is a $22 discount off the regular price. The meal came with a generous assortment of banchan, including salad, radish slices, kimchi, marinated cucumbers, sweet potatoes, and pickled onions. From the set menu, we ordered a variety of items: wagyu brisket, pork jowl, gochujang pork belly, ribeye, garlic butter shrimp, fried tteokbokki, kimchi stew, kimchi aioli tater tots, Korean spicy chicken wings, and a cheesy egg soufflé. My partner enjoyed the brisket, but he said the ribeye was disappointing. It was dry and overcooked, with much of it burnt. The pork jowl was flavorful and well-prepared, but the gochujang pork belly had an overpoweringly "porky" taste, as if it hadn't been cleaned properly. I tried the wagyu menu and felt the proteins were good but I wouldn't pay for it again. My favorites were the ribeye, jumuluk, and galbi. I'd recommend the wagyu soy and sesame brisket for a quick cook. I enjoyed that they offer different sauces and they offer a huge and different selection of sides than other places. They didn't have the cheesy soufflé or soup of the day. The ventilation here is the best I've ever experienced. The tater tots were crispy but very oily, the Korean spicy chicken wings were good but only two pieces at a time, dumplings were fine but they gave you soooo much, and the buldak fire noodles were amazing. Service was ok but extremely slow. Considering there's a 90 min dining limit, service needs to be consistent. I was often left sitting waiting for my proteins to come with nothing on the grill. We had dinner on Tuesday night we were 9 of us, two under age kids and one 94 years old grandma 2 seniors. We were told that us two seniors will get 22% discount and since grandma does not eat more than bowl of rice she will not be charged? At the end of dinner we were charged $231,63 for being seniors, and grandma which she did not even eat rice. We called the restaurant to correct their mistakes by charging the grandma for a full all you can eat and us not getting the discount of 22%? people that were with us and they had more beers just were charged $150? This was my first time at high end Korean restaurant and omg all my K drama food dreams were fulfilled. This place is amazing. Our server was very nice and patient and explained everything to us. They cook the food for you in front of you. You get to choose one protein at a time with 2 sides. It's unlimited for 90 minutes. My favorite thing was the Wagyu beef and my favorite sides were the ramen and fried rice. Very nice seating and very cute black and white tile flooring. We really wanted to try their desserts from the cake shop in front of the restaurant but were extremely full. We ate the cake slices late night at my home. Those didn't disappoint either. Chicken and shrimp is available. I did not like the 90 minutes limit vs 2 hours compare to other KKBQ. Ari is VERY strict on the timing so make sure you eat fast. Because the service was slow that also cut down on the timing for Us to fully enjoy the $75 (22% gratuity) experience. You can only order 2 proteins and 2 sides once you done with your food. The Wagyu meat did not taste better than my fav Korean BBQ Spot. If you want to come here I would try the Halal Ari regular pricing. Ari Kbbq has easily become my favorite restaurant in the area. As the only halal kbbq that I know of in the area, we love to come here for special occasions (or even a random day in the middle of the week) Our servers have always been very kind and helpful. Unlike other kbbq spots I've been to in the past, the servers do the cooking for you. There are two menus that you can choose from, but the wagyu menu is the one that has the halal options. Banchan are brought out and you get two choices of meat and two sides. There are sooo many to choose from, but we typically stick to the Wagyu beef. The soy and sesame brisket and spicy bulgogi are our favorites. All the sides that we have had have been so good! We usually stick to the japchae, corn cheese, and teokbokki! Met the server at 722pm, asked if they would honor the 40% AYCE because we got here on time (4pm - 7pm was the promo), but we had to wait. The manager would not honor it. The food was slow. Around 45 minutes, we were only served 2 plates of briskets. Pork belly was really salty. But my server was pretty, nice, and gave us complimentary corn Cheese. My bf and I have been to Ari 3 times in the past month and a half. We only came back today to try the wagyu acye with friends because we can never eat enough just by ourselves. The wagyu menu is only ok barely worth the price is the main reason for the lower score. Unfortunately you can get better for less if you are willing to take the drive to pleasant hill rd in duluth there is at least 6 places with better prices than ARI and they even have bigger selections and better food/service/atmosphere overall. Ari is simply upscale for the sake of being upscale the food does not warrant the price. Thankfully the one thing worth mentioning is their wine salt which you can buy at the gift/bakery shop in front of the restaurant. TLDR buy the wine salt and eat elsewhere. read more

They cook the food for you at your table. We ordered the Buson feast. There were four of us and I'm fairly certainly they charged us for four but only brought out enough food for two. The fried rice was terrible. Dry with no taste. Same for the strip steak. Brisket was mostly fat which is par for brisket. I can go on about how bad the food was or how little food there was but I hope you get what to expect. Would I go here again? Absolutely not. Came here on a Wednesday night for a birthday and it was a great experience. We got the AYCE Wagyu and there wasn't a single meat that disappointed me. I personally loved the short rib, but the LA galbi was a close contender. As always they gave an ample amount of banchans and we devoured the corn cheese. They refill them too so we got another.
