I am such a sucker for Korean barbecue and this one was pretty good. It's definitely in my top five here's how it went: The ambience is very nice very clean and spacious enough for lots of guests. The service was top-notch. A Jeannie was a great server, she made sure that we had everything that we needed and answered all of our questions. The food was wonderful. You could taste that there is quality in the meats that they serve to the sides and the sauces that came on the salads. Everything was just so well prepared and delicious. We quite literally ate until we could not anymore. Amazing KBBQ! We've been to a few different KBBQ locations and none come close to ARI. The Wagyu is definitely worth it if you enjoy the sides, I highly recommend the chicken katsu, and tater-tots, but realistically the Ari AYCE option is great. The server offered to cook our food for us, which was very helpful when we were talking, but also allowed us to serve ourselves as we pleased. The room was open, but still felt like we had our own space to spend quality time together. Highly recommend, stick to the Ari AYCE unless you are looking for something specific. I had passed by ARI Korean BBQ a few times and finally decided to give it a try this past Saturday. From the moment my partner and I walked in, the service stood out. Staff were quick to seat us, and our waiter was consistently attentive. The space itself is elegantly decorated and had an upscale atmosphere. They were offering a summer lunch deal: Wagyu All-You-Can-Eat for $46.99, which is a $22 discount off the regular price. The meal came with a generous assortment of banchan, including salad, radish slices, kimchi, marinated cucumbers, sweet potatoes, and pickled onions. From the set menu, we ordered a variety of items: wagyu brisket, pork jowl, gochujang pork belly, ribeye, garlic butter shrimp, fried tteokbokki, kimchi stew, kimchi aioli tater tots, Korean spicy chicken wings, and a cheesy egg soufflé. My partner enjoyed the brisket, but he said the ribeye was disappointing. It was dry and overcooked, with much of it burnt. I tried the wagyu menu and felt the proteins were good but I wouldn't pay for it again. My favorites were the ribeye, jumuluk, and galbi. I'd recommend the wagyu soy and sesame brisket for a quick cook. I enjoyed that they offer different sauces and they offer a huge and different selection of sides than other places. They didn't have the cheesy soufflé or soup of the day. The ventilation here is the best I've ever experienced. The tater tots were crispy but very oily, the Korean spicy chicken wings were good but only two pieces at a time, dumplings were fine but they gave you soooo much, and the buldak fire noodles were amazing. Service was ok but extremely slow. Considering there's a 90 min dining limit, service needs to be consistent. I was often left sitting waiting for my proteins to come with nothing on the grill. This was my first time at high end Korean restaurant and omg all my K drama food dreams were fulfilled. This place is amazing. Our server was very nice and patient and explained everything to us. They cook the food for you in front of you. You get to choose one protein at a time with 2 sides. It's unlimited for 90 minutes. My favorite thing was the Wagyu beef and my favorite sides were the ramen and fried rice. Very nice seating and very cute black and white tile flooring. We really wanted to try their desserts from the cake shop in front of the restaurant but were extremely full. We ate the cake slices late night at my home. Those didn't disappoint either. Ari Kbbq has easily become my favorite restaurant in the area. As the only halal kbbq that I know of in the area, we love to come here for special occasions (or even a random day in the middle of the week) Our servers have always been very kind and helpful. Unlike other kbbq spots I've been to in the past, the servers do the cooking for you. There are two menus that you can choose from, but the wagyu menu is the one that has the halal options. Banchan are brought out and you get two choices of meat and two sides. There are sooo many to choose from, but we typically stick to the Wagyu beef. Unfortunately you can get better for less if you are willing to take the drive to pleasant hill rd in duluth there is at least 6 places with better prices than ARI and they even have bigger selections and better food/service/atmosphere overall. Our poor server was pulled thin taking care of multiple tables at once so we could barely get in any orders. By the time we hit the 90 min limit we still hadn't received our second side. We ended up just putting in a large order which led to food wasted. Our server Andrew was very sweet & accommodating at the end of the meal but this was absolutely not worth the money or time. The manager was extremely unaccommodating! We were brought to the point where we had to grab the manager because we were 90 minutes into a meal & only received 2 meat portions & 1 side (you can only order 2 of each at a time). First time at ARI and it has been on my list for a long time. The space is beautiful and very clean. There is a big screen so I can enjoy Korean while watching the game. The real appeal is the quality of the meats. The sides were also fresh and yummy. My only complaint is that the seafood pancake was a little thick and wet in the middle. I prefer a thinner, crispier more authentic pancake. Also there was no Korean hot sauce. I suspect this is because they are catering to the Johns Creek crowd. After an afternoon errand, we stopped by ARI KBBQ because we've never tried this place before. Walking in, I would say ARI tout themselves as more of a high class/classy KBBQ place. They got rid of the lunch pricing so what you get is the only dinner pricing for AYCE. Inflation and rising costs is going to affect everything so I guess it wasn't a surprise. We went with the AYCE because the amount for a single dish (a la carte) was kind of crazy that it just wouldn't make sense to not just go for the AYCE. The meats were good. I thought it was well flavored and the service was definitely there for a higher class experience. They also had Wagyu meat, but to be honest I think it's not worth it to cook Wagyu meat as you probably won't eat much as it's so rich. That's just my thought though. Overall, ARI is pretty good. The meats were plentiful and the service was good as far as someone being attentive as well as cooking the meat for you. The price is pricier, but with that you get all these other things. Went with a friend here that is big in halal food and kbbq so we came to this place. Service is good, the server is very tentative vs other kbbq spots but that could be because we were one of 3-4 tables there at the time (noon). Not sure if the server isn't that fluent in English but she kept pushing a lot of sides and non wagyu meat our way even when we didn't specifically order more of them. I'm here to eat wagyu not rice or non wagyu meat. Also, I would not recommend any of the bulgogi or the ribeye, it says wagyu for the bulgogi but honestly you couldn't even tell this apart from any other bulgogi and the ribeye is barely choice grade and tiny. This pretty much narrows it down to only two wagyu options here, the brisket and the short rib. (All the others is just a soy or sesame version) Both were great but not sure if it's worth the $75 pp after tax + tip. Pros: good wagyu brisket and lumuluk, your clothes won't smell like kbbq after you are done. Cons: half side of your food will be cold if you don't eat it right away. Shrimp doesn't cook all the way unless you burn the garlic. TLDR: good wagyu brisket and wagyu Jumuluk. Skip everything else. We chose Ari for dinner since we wanted to switch things up a little instead of going to a typical ayce kbbq spot. What caught our attention the most were their "wagyu ayce" and "wagyu feast" options. We went ahead and made a reservation, but it wasn't busy at all when we arrived. We ended up doing the wagyu ayce and started with the wagyu brisket and marinated boneless ribs. We usually like to cook our own meats, but it's customary here for the servers to cook for you so we let him do it until we noticed that he was getting too busy. Plus if we're paying $65 per person for kbbq, I'm definitely gonna take advantage of letting the server cook for us lol. After that, we had more brisket, the wagyu bulgogi, and garlic pork belly. Everything was tasty, but our two biggest complaints are that the wagyu meats weren't very tender/ buttery and the wagyu brisket is cut so thick that my jaw was extremely sore by the end of dinner. As for the banchan, everything tasted great. Each guest gets their own bento box as their "personal plate" which has salad and an assortment of banchan. We enjoyed the unique options for sauces here, like the ssamjang, jalapeño aioli, and red wine infused pink salt. The ambiance is nice and on the quieter side, and the booths are super roomy with big tables. Overall, I don't know if we would come back. Everything is a give and take and although Ari provides a unique, more upscale experience with good service, the quality of their wagyu meats could be better for the price and that's the main dealbreaker for me. read more

The grills are gas rather than charcoal, which is convenient and doesn't leave you smelling like smoke... but you don't get that luxurious smoky flavor. The arrangements and sides are a mix of traditional and modern. There's no lettuce wrap here which should accompany samgyupsal, but their side salad is pretty good. If you want rice, it'll cost you extra. With some of the options, you can get either fried rice or hot pot ramen. I mean, hot pot ramen sounded amazing so I tried it. It tasted like Shin Ramyun that comes in a cup. I haven't tried the fried rice, but I would say it MUST be better than that. Best thing on the menu, hands down, the garlic samgyupsal -- amazing.
