I came on a weekend and I got seated fairly quickly! We opted for the $40 ayce combo for more beef variety. I thought the service was okay, not very friendly or attentive from our server. Another coworker of his noticed we were about to the put the wrong meats on the grill and helped us switch it out. We also ordered side dishes that never came. I think it'd be better if the server wrote down our orders instead of trying to memorize everything as we had to repeat ourselves. The meat quality of the beef brisket was good. Finally made it back here with a large group of friends, and it was hands down the best decision. I'd forgotten how much I missed this place! Everything we ordered was a hit. My friends couldn't get enough of the pork belly and the honey spicy pork belly, but for me, the brisket and galbi are still delicious. The brisket and pork belly were my tables favorite. I liked the garlic pork over the plain but it's up to your discretion. Definitely skip on the spicy squid because it's incredibly overcooked by the time it gets to your plate, presumably boiled long before being reheated on the grill. Beef tartar was interesting. Japchae tastes alright but a little dry. I liked the scallion salad but found the tteokboki to be overcooked. They do offer lettuce for wraps and plain white rice even though it's not formally on the menu. Overall, we still had a good experience. Our waitress was nice and very consistent in checking on our table. Ambiance is consistent with most other casual bbq spots. K-BBQ Factory is another AYCE KBBQ restaurant with an industrial vibe. There is plenty of parking and seating available. They also have a good lunch deal. The service was fine when it came to getting the meat out, although at times it felt like I had to flag down a server to order an additional dish because there did not seem to be enough of them. Also, keep in mind that the servers do not grill the meat, it is something you will have to do. My friend and I ordered the Beef Brisket, Pork Belly, and Spicy Pork Belly. I normally prefer pork over beef for KBBQ, but the Beef Brisket was actually yummy. It was the right amount of fattiness. The Pork Belly was alright, I thought it could have tasted better. I did not like the Spicy Pork Belly that much (it was more for my friend) as the first cut we got was mostly fat and I normally do not like marinades on my meat at KBBQ. We got their Steamed Egg as well which was very delicious and fluffy initially. At one point, the egg tasted a bit too much like scallions so that kind of deterred me from eating too much of it. I was sad to see that corn cheese is not included in their AYCE deal... it is a dish you have to pay extra for. Also, the grills here are rectangular shaped and it made it a bit difficult to fully grill all the meat because the space was more limited. My friend and I both got the AYCE B Package ($32.99 pp) since I don't eat pork and the B package had quite a few beef and chicken options. You can have 3 different kinds of meat cooking at a time from a rotating selection of like 10-11 on B Unlimited Side dishes included in the AYCE price: potato salad, kimchi, radish, fries, green onions, salad (I wish they had the typical dressing but it was mostly just vinegar like, rice cakes with fish cake (toppoki), japchae noodles, steamed egg, kimchi fried rice, tofu stew, and lettuce wraps. The sauces were okay it was like a honey mustard, red spicy, samjang, salt with sesame seeds. Refill bottles for the sauces are always around. With that said! I really enjoyed the bulgogi beef we got that twice, the beef cubes, and the beef short rib pieces. I think the pricing is pretty fair - $29.99 for the one that we wanted (there are 3 levels of AYCE you can eat and the more expensive ones have more types of meat or seafood you can order). The meat quality was good. Our favorites were the spicy pork belly, short rib and marinated pork. Keep in mind, the servers there will come and grill your meat for you. My partner and I didn't mind that as much although you may have some periods of awkwardness when you're not really talking because you're waiting for them to finish grilling. The AYCE bbq also comes with a few side dishes, as seen in my pictures, but it was a little frustrating because I had to ask the servers several times to bring it out. The quality of the products I tried there was better than the average restaurant. I tried the spicy pork belly and it literally melt in my mouth. Our friends swear by this place so we joined them for dinner on a Friday evening. Since they don't take reservations, we went there and waited for 30 minutes. Although there is a bar with seating, no one was staffing the bar... odd. Once we got seated, we decided to order a few things from the a la carte menu which included beef bulgogi, spicy pork belly, chicken fried rice, and vegetable fried rice. We finished everything and probably could have eaten more but they don't have dessert. Our server seemed new and possibly in training, but he was doing his best. I've never had Korean rice wine so I assumed it was something like sake (which I enjoy) but this was not. I chose the mak-geoulee which was served cold but in a teapot. We ended up putting it on the grill to try to heat it up a little. The food, particularly the sides and accoutrement, were great. We were seated at a table by the door and it was freezing. I was a little under the weather and all the spicy food and smoke made me super congested. So it's possible that I would have enjoyed the experience a bit more if that hadn't been the case. Our friends said that in the past they usually serve complimentary rice but maybe we didn't get any because we had ordered the fried rice. Their AYCE A is $30, which is on the cheaper end for most restaurants, and you get a bunch of sides and protein options. My group will usually get AYCE B because we really like their cube steak. The service here is fast; employees will quickly stop by to take your order or help you grill. It does take a while for the meats to come out, so we always put in our next order when one comes out. I highly recommend the cheese corn and french fries, which are so good despite being a kbbq restaurant. I also love their kimchi, green onion salad, and regular salad! This is one of my favorite place for AYCE korean bbq. Because the $29.99 has brisket and boneless short ribs, while at 678 it only has brisket. The meat quality is superb compared to other korean bbq places. Those are the items that I care about when doing AYCE. I just wish they also offer charcoal grill like 678 then it would be perfect. The service is always on point, they bring out the the side dishes quickly when you request for more. I normally go for lunch hours so it is not very crowded yet. The vent hood actually works, so you're not engulfed in smoke while dining. When we go with a family, we like to order the combination instead. For us, the combination for 2 can feed 3-4 people.
