The charcoal grill makes this the best kbbq place ever. It's getting less common that places use charcoal. I love the meat quality. The caprisun cocktail was so good. The server was very attentive he did most things without having to have been asked. The ambiance of the restaurant is good and clean
We got here at 6:30 where there are lots of seats available. The front desk lady questioned us many times about how many people in our group. We answered there are a few joining us. And there lady make us wait and told us we will only be seated when everybody is here. Our friends who recommended this place told us, this type of situation never happened to them.
I have been to this location once before and remember that I had a good experience and really enjoy the food. This time, I brought my friend who has never had Korean bbq before for her to try. We went right when it opened so it was quiet. I told the server it was her first time and he was eager to explain everything to her. I don't think she was prepared at all what was about to grace our table He brought out a cart full of side dishes and start to explain what each one is along with the flavor profile. When he got to the scallion salad, she was just not loving it, but he told her to at least try and see what she thinks (don't knock it til you try it!) Then he said they're still getting the charcoal ready so it'll be a few more minutes and my friend's eyes just (like what?) So we start with trying a bite of all the sides. She enjoyed everything except the sliced onion salad. Surprisingly, she loved everything else, including the scallion salad! She's a texture eater, so I was weary of her trying the tofu, but she really enjoyed that too! So... the charcoal comes out, and she's just Then the server brings the grill with the cheesy corn, spicy bean sprout, and he poured in the eggs. Followed by the meats! Since she didn't really know what she likes, I made a few suggestions and the server suggests letting him bring us the most popular items first and we can work our way through the menu. What a great idea!! Started with brisket and ribeye and wow ... meats were fresh, paired with the sides, and the dipping sauces, it's just chef's kiss!! We then had bulgogi and pork belly and those were just bursting with flavor! The cheesy corn was good but burned too fast on the grill, the spicy bean sprouts are amazing, and the steam egg is my favorite . The only downside is that if you don't eat those sides that are cooking on the grill right away they'll turn dry and burned and it won't be as good. The cheesy corn also caused some splattering to our hands when we were cooking the meats. The server apologized for the oil splattering since he heard the squeal immediately soak up the oil from the cheesy corn so the splattering would stop. Overall, my friend gave it 10/10!!!
Absolutely THE BEST New Food Experience EVER!!!!!! Spot recommended by a friend that lives in area, she joined us. Had a group of six from KY with me for my birthday. My friend lived in Japan for several years so was excited to share her food knowledge with us. Server and her service was exceptional!! She really did the work of the experience. Answered ALL of our many questions and provided great suggestions. Exhibited patience and had fun with us. Every single person was extremely satisfied with varying tastes and offerings. I highly recommend and will definitely return for this cylin culinary treat!!! 10 out of 10.
Its been a while since we've been here but had a good experience tonight. We had the unlimited combo B and our server was so attentive and great! They definitely deserve all the tip working this hard. We ordered the brisket, marinated beef steak, and the garlic beef steak. My fav was the beef steak as the quality was quite decent for AYCE. Brisket was on the fattier side that we had to cook on low heat to avoid getting oil popped on our faces and this batch of garlic steak was on a saltier side. Sides were delicious and kept getting them filled. Vibe is good though slightly feels like club and the music is a bit loud that i think the hostess and I had a misunderstanding. All I said was party of 5 but she gave me a sass saying she won't seat unless everyone is there. Start wasnt the best but enjoyed the rest. Not a deal breaker but 9292 is a bit on a smokier side so make sure you take bare minimum that'll soak up the smell. Here are the minor drawbacks. We didnt know rice was not free so it was a surprise to us at the end so I would suggest servers let customers know. From the beginning we were nervous for the workers on the tiny pot holders that they were using to pick up and maneuver the pipping hot grills. At the end, one of the workers burned his finger cleaning the table that I strongly ask management to get better protective gear.
A really high quality kbbq spot in the Atlanta suburbs! We went with AYCE combo B and got the pork belly, beef brisket, and pork neck. My favorite KBBQ meat is the beef brisket and theirs was nice and fatty. The banchan had a nice variety and the amount of meat they gave in each serving was generous. They also cook the meat for you too!
The place is pretty and they offer a late night food option which was great because we showed up around 10 PM. There is a lot that was questionable throughout our service that would make me unlikely to return, however. Service itself was okay. All they have to do is bring meats to the grill, but that grill heats up really quickly and caked up really fast to the point that after every grill it needed to be replaced. From the pictures alone, you can see that there are lower 'sides' around the grill, which limits the space you can use for the grill without having meat drippings in your sides. We did not touch the "steamed egg" for this reason. Also, they only had exactly one soup and one ice cream available although the menu specifies there's a choice . There isn't. The soup was not up to standard and I didn't like my flavor of ice cream but again, no options. I did not like this "all-you-can-eat" style for the price point when there are so many similar priced options available in the area. Ordering a la carte would have been way more expensive. While the meat was tender, the fact that I could not move meat off of the direct point of fire (no sides) meant that every meat overcooked and burned very quickly.
We love Korean BBQ and this place did not disappoint! I like that they have options and you can either do all you can eat or order a la carte which is great for families with little ones where all you can eat isn't always worth it. You also get several sides like kimchi, salad, peanuts and more, plus you can order other items like noodles if you want. The place is huge so it's great for large parties and it wasn't too loud so you can actually talk. The service was great and overall we had a really good experience!
I was visiting Atlanta with my friend and we decided to check 9292 out and we definitely enjoyed the meal. The menu has a lot of combination options, so we decided to try Special 1. The waiter brought out the charcoal and did a really good job cooking our meats. I thought the filet mignon was the best followed by the brisket. The brisket comes with the combo, so you pick 2 meats from the list of choices. The rib eye was very fatty, so we didn't end up finishing it. The kimchi fried rice was alright, slight crunch to the texture. We went during prime time dinner hour and it wasn't as packed. Didn't have a waiting list, was able to get seated right away. It was very noisy, so it was hard to have a conversation. The facilities like the restroom was clean and staff were very friendly. Our waiter was funny and he told me a lot of places to check out in Atlanta. Overall, great food and fun experience. Will certainly dine here again if I'm back in town. Highly recommend this place for Korean bbq.

I was here with a friend I have known for almost 40 years, and his FIL who I'm fond of. I've been here so many times but coming with non-Korean friends is one of the most fun experiences because you get to share your culture through food. Jin was our server and he was kind enough to answer a ton of questions even though he was so busy with other tables. He was great- all the meat was grilled to perfection and any side dishes (banchan) we needed was a quick request away. For 3- we crushed dinner. Got a combo, and two sides of Kalbi. Let's just say it was a LOT of food, but we also had soju/beer (somek) which also was enjoyed tremendously. You cannot go wrong here. They have combo meals; which are of excellent quality, or you can go with AYCE- still pretty good quality but you'll not get the marinated beef ribs in that way. Thanks to Jin for his patience and great service! Obviously I'll be back, this is my go-to charcoal BBQ spot here in town! read more
This is genuinely my favorite place to go to, and I will die on that hill!!! Korean barbecue is such an important piece of my life and it makes me always miss home and comforts me. finding a go to spot that's open late and is consistently good is so important. I love all of the side dishes that 9292 offers and every time I go, the service has always been amazing!! they are very attentive to make sure that your side dishes are always filled and it's a great place to take out-of-town guests. read more

ORDER Combination D (for 5) with the Kimchi Fried Rice! All the meat is really good quality and melt in your mouth. The marinated meats have just the right amount of seasoning to where it's not too overpowering and you can still taste the flavor of the meat. Kimchi Fried Rice - very unique in that I've never had fried rice that tasted like this. Packs quite a punch. The rice tastes a lot more like gochujang flavored compared to kimchi. Side dishes, cheese corn and steamed eggs are all delish! Compared to a lot of places in Texas, this place is definitely worth the value! VIBES Pretty nice! Each table is sectioned out with taller walls which gives nice privacy. It gets pretty busy later on. SERVICE Service was pretty alright - our server had just been working there for 3 days but was still very polite and good. They do get pretty busy so they're not as attentive but that's understandable. read more

9292 is one of the many Korean BBQ restaurants located in Duluth. Had such a hard time picking which KBBQ to eat for my birthday, but ultimately I decided to try 9292 based on the glowing reviews. Let me just say, I was not disappointed! We decided to go with the 9292 Special 2 which involved meats that were not included in either of the ayce menus (prime eye rib and marinated beef brisket short rib). Even though we didn't choose to do ayce which I normally go with when I eat kbbq, the portions of the Special 2 were very plentiful and allowed us to try quite the variety of meats offered here!! The meats and banchan are so fresh and very flavorful!! The Napa cabbage kimchi fried rice was a little too spicy for me however, and the soybean paste stew was a little too salty. But that didn't take away too much from my overall experience eating here. Our server cooked the meat for us and we didn't feel rushed with each batch of meat being cooked. Also something I noticed is that with each meat being cooked came with a new grill change to ensure the meat won't be burnt. The overall restaurant is very spacious to allow a lot of seating, however something I noticed right away was the smokiness from the various grills working to cook meat. A minor setback which is honestly to be expected of any Korean BBQ restaurant. I am so glad I chose to eat at 9292 during my most recent visit to Georgia and I will look forward to coming back again! read more
Out of the seemingly endless KBBQ choices in this particular area, 9292's selling point/gimmick would be the charcoal grills the meats are made on. These lend a smoky flavour to the meats and hot sides (corn cheese, angry egg, mushrooms, bean sprouts - all endlessly refillable) that are served in a ring around the grill that differentiates it from the rest of the pack. Choices to order are either meats a la carte, a selection of different combos, and an all you can eat option, though the meat choices for those may not have everything you're looking for. Meat quality is above average, highlights were the short rib and rib eye steaks. Service was better than expected for this kind of restaurant, though that could have been related to coming on a quieter weekday day. Weekends the place gets fairly busy, though the restaurant is large. Servers were very attentive and grill the meats for you at the table. Restaurant located in a strip mall; parking plentiful and free. Prices are about expected for the food, your mileage may vary on how many people you can stretch a combo that "feeds 3-4" to (we comfortably stretched it to 6). OF NOTE: This place charges $1 for a bowl of rice, though sides/banchan are free and endless. Good experience overall, though also to note the restaurant due to how the food is cooked at the table is EXTREMELY smoky so be careful how you sit at the table if you are sensitive. read more

There are a lot of delicious KBBQ spots in Atlanta and 9292 definitely stands out in the list! Parking should not be a big problem and the space is really modern inside. My friends and I were seated as soon as entered on a Friday evening. We had a great server who was very chatty and attentive with us. We got AYCE--specifically the 9292 B, which offered additional meats such as Prime Beef Brisket and Spicy Chicken in addition to the typical meats offered with AYCE. The meats were all good quality, as well as the side dishes (especially the kimchi). I liked that the charcoal grills did not leave too intense of a smokey flavor on the meats, which can be a problem at other places. I will say that it gets very smokey inside while the grilling is taking place, so that is something to consider before dining here. Otherwise, I had a good experience here! read more

Food quality here does not disappoint, the only thing that holds this place back from being a five star like ari kbbq is that the service is slow. My favorite thing is walking in and seeing the giant frog on the table but the location is loud. Wait staff is nice and this is a good go to for locals. read more

Being half Korean, im used to Korean food and more traditional Korean restaurants as well. The flavors of the meats and side dishes was on point. Compared to other Korean restaurants the quantity of side dishes was limited but what they did have was solid. They charge for rice which is a HEAD SCRATCHER but overall recommended.if you like Iron Age you won't be let down. read more

This place is awesome. The service, food, atmosphere, and value are excellent. We came in with a party of 7 and were seated within minutes. I've been to a few Korean BBQ places, but the 1st that had charcoal grills. Most I've seen are natural gas. We had a good amount of bon chon dropped off shortly after our drink orders were placed. The restaurant was super generous with the bon chon. It was all tasty. Some of the items were new to me, but it wasn't Kimchi overkill. We ordered the combo D, recommended for 5 folks, but was plenty of food for us. They had a good bar selection for a Korean BBQ place. Didn't try any soju, but it was nice to try the local beers on tap. I would definitely eat here again. read more

One of few korean BBQs with a wood fire grill instead of gas and great ventilation. Very clean establishment, great service. Unlimited options are a little lacking, side dishes are very standard. They have pretty good wang galbi. Id give this place a 4/5 but didnt want to lower the current rating. There is so many kbbq options that they are getting competitive they might need to offer more to menu or sides to be competitive. read more

9292 was actually delicious! We came on a Monday night and it was pretty busy but we got seated right away. Our server greeted us and explained the menu right away. He was super attentive and helped us cook the meat the whole time. He cooked the meat to perfection! Here you have the option to do AYCE or one of their combos. This time we decided to go with combo C and with 4 people total it was more than enough! Combo C served prime beef brisket, prime rib eye, beef short rib, seasoned steak, and shrimp for the proteins. Side dishes were also so good. I love that you get to cook the egg and corn cheese around the grill. We also loved the kimchi fried rice! The combo vs AYCE option ends up being about same price per person but with the combo you get better quality meats which we thought it was so much more worth it. The place is very spacious and clean. I love how it feels kinda private since all booths are separated like stalls. Overall we all loved having dinner here and will be back! ESPAÑOL 9292 estuvo super delicioso! We ordered the Combo B and it was a lot of food for the three of us. We got seated right away on a Sunday evening for dinner. They had a great selection of sides! We really enjoyed the refillable steamed egg and cheesy corn. They saved the best meats for last, the marinated beef. Our waiter cooked for us and he was very attentive. Unfortunately, the vents were not working very well and it was sooo smokey. The smoke was getting in our eyes, making them water, and we were drenched in the KBBQ smoke smell when we left. read more

Yep! All you can eat to your heart desires. You just let the waiter know what meat you want next and it keeps going. If you have a party everyone has to order it though.
