Let me first start with the staff. Such kind and helpful staff??? 10/10!!! They were absolutely ON it ensuring that everything was up to our standards, cooking the meat to just perfection! The banchan (side dishes) were SOOOOOOO GOOOD!!!!!! From the kimichi, the salad, the soup, YUMMMM! I mean yes, of course the meat was great too--the marinate that each meat had, was just perfect. So over the years, 9292 Gopchang has developed their menu to their most current offering which includes an all you can eat Gopchang for a pretty fantastic price of $45. The items offered are pork belly, small and large intestine, tripe, and abomasum. They also give you brisket and marinated pork neck steaks as well which adds such a depth of variety. Again like with any AYCE Korean BBQ joint, if you order this, the whole table needs to order it and they also add gratuity to this as well. We ate here yesterday and it was okay, nothing special. We walked in around 6 pm and it was just us and another table of three. We ordered one serving of pork belly and one yukgaejang - spicy beef noodle soup in a hot pot. Our side dishes came out about five minutes later. They were mostly good and the kimchi was average. About 15 minutes later, my pork belly was served. If you order just one serving of meat, they grill it in the kitchen. I'm used to thicker pork belly and a bit crispier. We asked for more side dishes, just two of them, and found out if you only order one serving of meat, they charge you $0.69 each... Say what? A few minutes later, we got our yukgaejang in a large hot pot. It was on the spicy side which we enjoyed. We found this hidden gem by mistake. Someone in our group came to this location and since there was no wait, we decided to eat here instead. This location was much smaller and quieter than the other 9292. Since this was my first time having Korean bbq, I really didn't know what to expect and I don't think it was fully explained however I really enjoyed the full experience. We decided to go with the unlimited option. If one person in your group chooses the unlimited option, everyone else has to have the same thing, FYI. The server actually cooks all the meat for you which is a good thing as we probably wouldn't know what to do. I think we tried just about every meat except the pork neck. The bulgogi was the group fave for sure. The side options were not what I was expecting but it all tasted good. The radish, soup, and salads were the best in my opinion. Some of my group ordered rice because we're Caribbean and eat rice with everything. I decided to order a drink and chose the peach flavor based on recommendations. 10/10 do not recommend. It's a bad sign when your group is the only customers during peak lunch hours. My grandma and I love innards and are no stranger to intestines, liver, kidney, hearts, etc. I was excited to find a BBQ restaurant who specializes in intestines and I have always been a fan of the 9292 restaurants including their regular KBBQ and shabu shabu joints. Now I ended up ordering the combo. The innards itself was flavorless and tough. The large intestines was too fatty and they were not cleaned well. I rarely ever leave food on my plate but most of these pieces were inedible. Despite us using the seasoning, nothing tasted good or fresh. Also $80 spent and we both left hungry. read more

The service at this Korean BBQ restaurant is absolutely amazing. They are very friendly and extremely attentive. The food is absolutely amazing and the kimchi is perfection. We got the combo for four but probably could've gone with the combo for three. So much food. And they will refill your sides with no problem at all. Brought my parents and sister here after I was brought here for dinner and my parents loved it here! We got the combo for 5 people and there was so much meat and we were so full after just the meat that we had to take the final dish at the end home to-go. They had a large variety of banchan (side dishes) that you can get refilled and had basically refillable soup, salad, and corn cheese/mushroom/bean sprouts/egg. Overall, lots of good cuts of meat for fairly reasonable prices (in my opinion) compared to the other K-BBQ places I've been. Will for sure be coming back! read more

With plenty of Korean BBQ restaurants popping up in Duluth, 9292 Korean BBQ has been one of my favorites. I initially thought 9292 Gopchang was the same restaurant but noticed it was actually a separate restaurant. They offer the same menu as the 9292 Korean BBQ restaurant, along with an interesting "gopchang" menu - aka, intestines. The restaurant wasn't super busy on a weeknight - and I wonder if this is a better option than the original 9292 Korean BBQ restaurant to avoid the long wait for a table. We were feeling adventurous so we decided to try just an order of the Gopchang with a "normal" combo for 2 people. The quality of the meat was just as good as usual. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the Gopchang. It was super chewy even after cooking for a good 10 minutes. I'm used to it being crispier, so the chewy consistency was off-putting. Our server was there where when we needed him and also made himself scarce when we were just doing our own thing chatting and eating and drinking. Speaking of drinking, we made sure to order some soju and Hite, the best way to enjoy Korean BBQ! Overall, if I'm trying to avoid the busy lines of the typical good KBBQ spots, I'll definitely need to keep 9292 Gopchang in mind. 9292 Gopchang, owned by the same place 9292, is right across from Breakers Korean BBQ so you can't miss it even if you tried. I never really tried any gopchang places around here so I wouldn't really know if its better than other places in duluth.. BUTTT what I cann say is that I wouldn't want to try any other gopchang places since this was the far best I had other than when i was in korea! I personally am not a huge fan of little intestines(gopchang) but I love big intestines (daechang) I think its more juicy and has more flavor , but I heard bunch of other opinions about it so.. I feel like it depends on the person. I highly recommend you to try it out with your friends! If this your first time trying intestines , definitely go to 9292 gopchang! wow I want some now haha. It is OK to add it, but with their service that day, I feel unhappy paying for the gratuity. Ordered: 2 for $60 (briskets plus two meats - short ribs and prime ribs) Ambience: large restaurant with tables all around and a grill in the middle of each table. Not very cozy. One thing that was weird was that they had a ton of TVs (at and around the entrance) that showed live security camera footage of the store. Not sure if they have to monitor so closely and if they do - they can hide it in the back office. Review: quality of meat is really good! Food portion was enough for two people (we are not big eaters so not sure if it's enough for big eaters). Variety of banchans (see picture) and they also bring out egg soufflé and tofu soup. And they use a charcoal open flame grill instead of the gas grill that is used at most Korean bbq place. Charcoal enhances the flavor in the meat. The service is top notch - there was always someone making sure our meat was being cooked to perfection. If you are scared of fire (like me) please be aware that the space is really tight and the open flame goes blazing when they put the meat on. read more

I feel like this is a hidden gem! There is another 9292 down the street that is busy but this one is slower since it's hidden off the main road. Menu is the same as the other 9292 from what I could see. Meat quantity and sides are good, no complaints. The server here are very helpful and attentive. I don't think I picked up my tongs once to flip or add meat. When we were about to leave they noticed we didn't get our ice cream and had us wait until we had it! I love shabu places and I heard this was a new unlimited place that opened up. Before, I used to go to J's Mini Hot Pot down the street but it wasn't unlimited. And for unlimited, I used to go to China Hot Pot in Doraville but it was pretty pricey. Now this new place, they run it differently. Their vegetable bar is unlimited and you can grab anything you want for $15. That's a pretty solid deal. For the meat, you have to pay per tray. They do have an option for unlimited meat but that's more pricey. What I love is that they have a pretty wide variety of vegetables and sauce bar which is usually a weak point for other shabu places. This is hands down my new favorite shabu place in Georgia. Now if you want alot of meat then be ready to cough up some extra cash. But you can definitely be satisfied by having unlimited vegetables and making a great sauce. read more

9292 Gopchang is similar to 9292 Korean BBQ but the only difference is that Gopchang had all of the intestines and other parts of a cow that you wouldn't normally get at 9292. The side dishes were also different but I really like the fact that they give us a big bowl of egg souffle with cheese and it was refillable. The four of us visited it on a random Thursday night and they were not busy at all. We had the AYCE for $29.99 and it came with: -Thinly sliced pork belly -Thinly sliced beef brisket -Spicy pork belly -Normal pork belly -Marinated beef (Bulgogi) -Soy bean paste pork belly My favorite meats of the night would be the thinly sliced pork belly. After my last bad experience I decided to give this place another try. Sadly, now I can confirm I will never be back. Took close to half an hour to get any service. We came for a bbq experience and they cooked our meats in the kitchen and expected us to be okay with it even though we are paying for regular prices. They brought side dishes first with drinks but never came back. After half an hour they brought us meat cooked in the kitchen. We asked for our meat to be grilled at the table and continued to wait.... And wait. Until we decided that we were wasting our time. The restaurant was clearly understaffed and other tables were tended to first because they were having all you can eat bbq. So we were not prioritized. I hope the owners know that we came for a full experience not just by how much we ordered. I gave this place another try hoping things have changed, but again we wasted our time and wished this was not our place of choice. I was here a couple days ago and was served by Scarlett who was such a peach! The gopchang is unlike any other gopchang. The natural filling (gop) is so soft and it melts right in your mouth. A sauce unique to this restaurant is their garlic dipping sauce. Literally any meat you dip in here is going to instantly go into hyper taste. The egg and cheese, the tofu soup, the shin kimchi is all too good to be a free side dish. Come here come all!!! read more

Wow! I am soooo glad my bf and I went on a whim to try out this 9292 location. It is located right next to Gwinnett Mall. I think the last three "1 star" ratings are from one family, Lol. Don't let them deter to you from this amazing place. Anyways, my bf and I have been here twice. Exceptional service !!! To the point where you would probably think it's too good to be true. I never caught the gentleman who works the front counter and serves, name. He is so accommodating and truly genuine. We always feel so welcomed. He even remembered us from the first time ! Food is awesome. Good quality meats. I wish they gave more daechang (large intestines) in the Gopchang combos. It's mostly abosum, but still good none the less.
