Came here on a Monday evening, there was no wait. Inside is decorated nicely and the chairs are very easy to move. Apparently this place stays open very late which I think is really nice to have, especially since everything closes earlier now post Covid. What a great experience! The waiter/hostess was super sweet. They have a tablet where you place the order and they bring the food out, so that was convenient. I ordered the fried egg noodle with grilled chicken and it was so good, I ended up taking a photo halfway through eating lol. All things considered in my last review, I'm gonna go ahead and remove a star after the last few visits. The food has been really inconsistent in quality. I usually get the same egg noodle dish every time and there's something always different... the difference isn't great at times. Same with the rolls: one time they're prepped really well and on another visit they fall apart on the plate. The service varies as well depending on who you get (at night primarily as I've never visited before dark). The bathroom hasn't improved much. Admittedly this spot will always be on reserve since it's open late and the food CAN BE good for the craving. Hubz and I used to come here all of the time. Pretty good for a late night spot! I came here at 11pm and it's open until 3am! I love having Asian food options at night, so this is a nice spot to stop by. They have SOOO many food options. It was honestly a little overwhelming. I think when restaurants have too many options, the quality starts to suffer. The food wasn't AMAZING, but it hits the spot at this time of night. Also helpful if you go with a group and everyone can't decide what to eat. You order on a little tablet at your table and it's brought to you. However, you have to pay at the register at the end. The sushi was surprisingly good and the Pho was decent. The fish sauce wings did not have the taste I was looking for, but the wings were huge and they were crispy and fresh! We came at 3pm for lunch and got the enjoy the whole establishment to ourselves. They're open until 3am which is amazing for late night food and drinks. There is free parking in their lot. Restaurant has ample seating in like little sectioned off wooden areas and booths too. Service felt fragmented because you do everything on a kiosk. I think it would make more sense if we could order and pay at the table kiosk but you have to take ur receipt to the front cashier. You get a big bottle of water to pour for everyone too. I got the power roll for $16. On paper it sounded really good with a bunch of seafood and especially topped with some eel and spicy tuna between the eel and roll. However it felt like a lot. My friend has the crazy monkey roll, and I'd much rather eat that. It was fresh, good texture, and didn't feel like cheap sushi. They also serve pho here and somaek towers!! The cool part about this place is that it's one of those late night joints where you can get Japanese and Viet food staples at 2 in the morning and still have an hour to spare. Dragon Roll and Pho is a stand alone place that is spacious, well lit, blaring Top 40 radio hits from Spotify, and booths to go around. Great for parties and hangs, not as intimate for romantic dates, but casual dining for sure if you can call it a date in that sense. The service here is digital. There is a tablet that has the menu. You pick what you want as it's all a la carte, and you customize your entree. With the pho, there were plenty of options from no onion or scallion to extra basil or culantro. I should've picked light on the onions as they piled on both red and white onions in the bowl and it tangled up into everything once mixed. After you get all your options selected, you send your order off the kitchen and it gets prepped and served. The server here is professional, courteous, friendly, and prompt. Basic service. So I needed pho because that's what I was feeling in the moment and nothing else was really catching my fancy but since I never tried Dragon Roll & Pho, I thought this was the opportune moment. The pho here is simple and simplistic. The broth isn't as rich as I would have liked it nor did my bowl of pho arrive piping hot. It was hot enough that it needed some blowing down but it should've been scorching. The broth again lacked depth and richness with a tinge of MSG as that post consumption sharpness is what I walked away with as that is what MSG is known for doing after you get done w/ whatever it was laden with. The starting price for pho is $14.00. Medium you add $2 and for the large size, you add $4. It's basically an $18 bowl of pho. I will say that they do give you a plethora of meat from the flank, ribeye, tripe, and tendon. No meat balls though which was slightly disconcerting since every combination Pho Dac Biet comes with meatballs so this was an odd take on the combination pho i'm used to but suffice to say, they do provide a hefty portion of meat. It comes with a vegetable egg roll that you could sub for pork for $2(?) more. I also got try the beef version as well. The table was split on which was better. Overall the dish was filling and good but I would have liked a little more of the fish sauce. You can't go wrong with it, if it's something you want but I can't say this was the best. Service was good, they often checked up on us. I wish they took initiative like refilling the water bottle vs us asking for it. However I was confused because there was a button but they also checked on us frequently so I was unsure of the expectations. You also order through the tablet at the table. Upon arrival, we were seated fairly quickly and the server provided us with instructions on how to order and our drinks very quickly. Ambiance reminded me of a sports bar--minus the bar--but they do have a few selection of alcohol beverages. I had driven past this place before the rebrand that now includes pho but never tried it out before. Dropped in for some to go rolls. Staff were helpful and courteous at the bar. Ordered the Pleasant Hill and the Caterpillar. Decor is wood and bamboo shades. It wasn't too brightly lit. It was surprisingly busy here. Usually fusion or two different cuisines under one roof places don't last long unless they're super convenient. Was in and out in about 15 minutes. Dragon Roll and Pho is a good choice for fast sushi rolls. I haven't tried the pho options but having both Japanese and Vietnamese under the same roof should satisfy any late night hunger after a night out. read more

The service was fast! We ordered via a tablet at the table but a server still came by to check on you periodically and refill drinks and such. The place was clean and not busy at all. Parking is easy and handicap accessible. They have K-pop playing on tvs and music throughout the establishment. We got a large size Pho which was perfect for two people to share (and we had some to take home still). It was warm and came with bean sprouts to add in. It was my bf and I first time here about 1-2 days ago. We arrived around 2am and the sushi kitchen closed at 2:20am so I got here just in time to try their sushi! I was impressed with their rolls, the quality and taste was really good! I didn't have too much expectations for a place that closed this late (3am) but I would definitely come back for the sushi :) My boyfriend ordered banh mi and pho and he enjoyed it as well! I also liked the vibes of the place, the tables were in their own cubby so it felt secluded and intimate. I came here a few weeks ago because I wanted to try something new and passed by this place a couple of times. The location is slightly hidden since it's by the Gwinnett Place Mall. We were sat immediately, and it was giving off "tavern" vibes (big screens with the game on, but still having tables to sit like a normal restaurant). You order with the kiosk on your table, and I got their small pho and a sushi roll (forgot the name since it's been a few days). The pho came out faster than the sushi by 20-30ish minutes, so had asked for it togo. The portion of the small pho was pretty small, so I would recommend getting the medium. It definitely reminded me of YuKa in Suwanee, but with better quality food. The price is slightly more higher here than YuKa, so I spent about $50 (2 small phos and a roll). Ultimately, maybe I'll come back here because of the service and the time it took to get everything, but still a decent experience seeing this place is fairly new. read more

I went here yesterday hoping for a comforting and filling meal after craving some traditional food all week but everything about this place prevented me from rhat experience. I ordered a Bun Bo Hue (spicy hue style pho) but it took the restaurant more than 45 minutes to prepare the food even when the restaurant was almost empty. The person that took the order was rushing my table to place the order and return the "limited" amount of menu but that energy was not reciprocated when they are preparing the food. I overheard the other table complaining about how their sushi order took longer than one and a half hour to arrive so my experience was definitely shared among the other customers at the time. Outside of the rude and rushed service and the long waiting time, I was hoping that the food quality would make up for everything else because I was starving for a comfort meal. But no, the spicy hue style soup barely had any flavor besides the large amount of oil and spice they put in trying to make the bowl look flavorful. I wish I had taken a photo for evidence but I just wished to get out of there after taking the first few bites. Overall terrible experience, I would not recommend going here for Viet food. Find other places nearby, don't try out new place without carefully considering the online reviews, choose any other restaurants and you'll have a much better time than I did. 1/10. read more
