I absolutely love this place, it's brand new, probably only about a month old. The guy who works here is super knowledgeable and explains what everything is. Oh my their pork steamed buns are absolutely incredible. The chives or cabbage, wow. I'm a big fan of Thai food, and the guy recommended to try their Malaysian Stir-fried Rice Noodles. It's really good, a perfect balance of flavors and a little heat, but not overpowering. I'd definitely recommend this place. This is my second visit.

Nasi Lemak (?) Chicken

We loved our roti canai and nasi lemak(sp?) and rice chicken. The restaurant is in the food court in the Jusgo Supermarket. The food court is on the raised section towards the right as you enter. Then you have to go to the other side of the food court. It basically wraps around. The owner is super nice and very attentive to make sure that you are happy with the food. The area is bustling and can probably be a little noisy on the weekends but wasn't too crowded on Wednesday. Totally see why this place got high reviews!

Finally found an authentic mom and pop Malaysian food. Right inside Tokyo Kuma (food court). Mary is not only friendly, she is super nice. we ordered a whole bunch of of food to try it all out. The Laksa is very good, totally recommend Ba Ku teh and nasi lemak. We will definitely go back again.

Eight years after my initial review, Mamak remains our family's favorite spot…read more I believe the restaurant has changed hands at least once, but the food quality, ambiance, and portion sizes have remained consistent. Prices have increased since my last visit (of course), but they're still quite reasonable. The service is exceptional! We always enjoy chatting with Jojo and Chloe when we're there. These two ladies are incredibly friendly and helpful. My parents visit so frequently that Jojo already knows their orders without them having to say a word lol. You never have to wait long; our orders come out one dish after another very quickly. Our go to orders: * Chow Quay Teow * Fish Fillet * Kari Fish Fillet * Salt & Pepper Squid * Hainanese Chicken + Chicken Rice!! * Salt & Pepper Tofu * Stir Fried Okra in Garlic TBH you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommend.

Yummy! Who knew?!??…read moreAn entire community tucked away and overflowing with shopping, dining, medical and MORE resources. We decided to try Mamak after our 1st option was BOOKED and busy for Cinco ... EXCELLENT choice. Since it was both our first time, we ordered an assortment of items including the puffs, spring rolls, egg noodles, roti and our entrees. My tofu and veggie dish was flavorful with a hint of spice. My friend ordered the glass noodles with chicken and shrimp. Great service. Absolutely locally patronized - always a good sign - and a range of options. Loved this for my first time having Malaysian food !

Trying Indonesian food during my visit in Atlanta. It was good. I would recommend ayam bakar Bumbu…read morerujak for spicy lovers!! The grill chicken is covered with plenty of spicy Bumbu rujak. The chicken is smokey and juicy! My kids really enjoyed the mie ayam bakso. The noodle is very thin, the chicken is chunky and so flavorful. The bakso is also homemade, not store bought. It's also come with fried wonton a.k.a pangsit goreng. We also try their empek2, batagor, and kwetiau goreng. It's so so in my opinion. I'm really disappointed with batagor. The tofu is stuff with so little fish paste and it's super dry. It's also come with pangsit goreng which have very little chewy meat on the inside. The peanut sauce is very sweet and over powered the whole dish. It's self service restaurant where you get your own drink and utensils including napkins. The spicy sauce and sweet soy sauce is also available on the side. They also provide the food containers for the leftover that we want to bring home on side. The owner is nice and friendly. We order the food in cashier/counter and they will bring the food to the table. They also have mini shop for Indonesian snacks or seasonings. For the payment, they accept any cash form and charge 3% for all credit cards.

There was no sign in the front of the restaurant which made it hard to find, but it is there. The staff are friendly and willing to explain each item on the menu. We got the Martabak Telor, Mie Goreng Ayam/Baso/Udang, and Nasi Udik Komplit. The Martabak Telor was a flaky savory pastry that had beef, onion, scallion, and spices. It kind of tasted like an Indian samosa. Pretty solid. The Nasi Udik Komplit was a well balanced meal with carbohydrates, protein, and vegetables. The fried chicken was more tender than I thought it would be, which was a pleasant surprise. I kind of wish it was crispier, but maybe that is not the style for Indonesian cooking. The spicy egg and the perkedel (potato patty) tasted good too. I was not a fan of the coconut rice as I do not like coconut (I got this dish as I wanted to try what was part of it, specifically the perkedel). Overall, I thought the food was alright. With this being my second time having Indonesian food, I think my picky taste buds are still adapting to Indonesian cuisine and spices. It is clear that many people love this place and their food, so take my review with a grain of salt. I would give this spot a 3.5/5 stars if I could.

Our server, Lia, was wonderful--super patient, always smiling, and really helpful when it came to recommending dishes. She took the time to explain options, and her suggestions were spot on. Food-wise, everything hit the mark. The pig ears were surprisingly good with great texture and flavor. The Garlic Bone Marrow Noodle Soup was rich and comforting, and the Herbal Spare Ribs had a really nice, well-balanced herbal taste. Consistently good food, a comfortable vibe, and service like this are why Food Terminal continues to be a neighborhood favorite for me.

It was busy inside, but our party of 10 was promptly seated, though we were a little squished into a circular table. I didn't remember this last time, but instead of telling a server what you want, you mark it down on a paper menu and hand it to the server. This time I got the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodles and the Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp Garlic Noodle. I was really excited to try both since they both sounded so good. Ultimately the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodle was a little underwhelming - the noodles themselves weren't very flavorful, and the BBQ pork was on the drier side. The pork did have decent flavor, and all the toppings/side items (wontons, fried egg, bok choy) were great, but all in all fell a little short of my hopes. The Salted Egg Yolk Garlic Noodles had better flavor, but I could've used even more garlic and butter. The shrimp definitely carried the salted egg yolk flavor, but the fried batter was a bit soggy/soft in my opinion. I wished it was crisper. Service was a tad slow, but perhaps they're understaffed and/or it was busy that night. I do love the menu concept of positioning it like a magazine catalog - it makes for a fun experience instead of just words on paper

The fried egg on top was cooked throughout which was nice because I don't like runny eggs. I'd give it a 7/10. The Lows: I ordered the food to go and was given an estimate for when it would be ready. When I arrived I was told they were still working on it. About 25 minutes later I finally received my food. Worst part is that my food was sitting their for a good 10 minutes before the person finally realized it was there. The chicken fried rice was a little dry. Nothing too special. Maybe if they included a sauce or something to add to it? 5/10. The In Between: When you walk into the restaurant, it's not the most welcoming experience but maybe it's because they were busy. It didn't look very busy but maybe someone called out in the kitchen. Overall it's a nice looking restaurant. I'm not sure i'd come back. One tip, if you're running behind on to go orders, consider offering people some water while they wait. I would've appreciated that.

Our apps came quickly and the chicken nuggets were my favorite dish! The chicken was juicy, crispy and seasoned well and came with a sweet chili dipping sauce. The roti canai plate came with three chicken pieces and a lentil curry along with the roti which was also really good! The roti was thin and crispy and curry chicken had an amazing assortment of spices. The lentils also tasted good and loved the pickled onions on top. For the main, we went with the Garlic butter honey shrimp noodles, rolling Thai hot plate, garlic butter chicken fried rice and the curry chicken with jasmine rice. We got our food within 15min and loved the adorable robot who came by to drop it off at our table. The noodles are my favorite dish and as always tasted good and loved that they kept the portions the same. The Thai rolling hot plate which ended up being another type of fried rice was very flavorful with a tomato based rice, shrimp pieces and egg. The garlic butter fried rice was also delicious and loved the fried garlic pieces on top which added more flavor. The curry chicken was the same one as the one from the roti canai plate and amount of chicken was plentiful. Overall, it ended up being more than we could eat and had to pack it up for to go. There's plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating which makes it a great spot for getting lunch or dinner if you're in the area!
