We went in here to grab lunch with friends today. It wasn't too packed. The host is the kindest gentleman ever. He explained the menu graciously. With a choice of entree, you can select a soup or a side salad. I got a Green Thai curry with tofu. My partner got a Basil Fried rice with tofu. He chose the coconut soup, while I chose the tom yum soup. We split a Thai Iced Tea. Everything was really good. The Green curry was very flavorful and the fried rice was good too. The soups were warm and hearty. The drink was delicious as well. I have no complaints. The food is a solid deal for $12.

The Thai food here at Royal Bistro was fantastic, but beyond that I would go back again purely to enjoy the owner and his comedy. This is a very dressed down, simply decorated restaurant so it doesn't look like much, especially from the outside. But the quality of the food along with the service makes up for all of it. Our waiter (who we figured out is also the owner) was THE most adorable, sweet man. So gentle and literally never not smiling the entire time we were there. And boy did he have jokes- he was so fun to be around we probably would've stayed just to hang with him more! But the food- it was also quite good. Everyone in my party enjoyed what they had. I got the sweet and sour with shrimp and it was exactly what I had hoped it'd be. Royal Bistro is a hidden gem in a splendid crown!

I came by here for lunch and it was actually pretty crowded so there was a bit of a wait. I figured the food must be good for it to be so crowded especially because I saw several to go orders being placed or picked up while I was waiting. The staff was friendly and allowed us to go ahead and place our order while we were waiting so that once we were seated, it wouldn't take as long for the food to come out. While looking over the menu, I was quite impressed with the prices especially for Thai food. I'm used to Thai food being on the higher end- like $15 or more per dish. Everything on the menu here that I typically order at other restaurants was significantly cheaper. We ended up ordering the papaya salad, nam tok salad, and pad Thai noodles. When we ordered the pad Thai, they asked us if we wanted chicken or shrimp so we ordered shrimp and just assumed it would be included in the price. There was an upcharge for the shrimp, however, and my plate only had 3 pieces of shrimp in it. I thought that was a ridiculous upcharge for just a couple pieces. I also realized why the prices were so cheap once the food came out. Portion sizes are about half of what you'd typically get at another restaurant. My husband and I left not feeling full and had to go get dessert somewhere afterwards. It's definitely a good budget meal if you're looking for something cheap and quick for lunch. But I wouldn't count on coming here for high quality Thai food or if youre looking to be full. Maybe dinner portions are bigger?

Super tasty food. The coconut soup was so good I wish I had just ordered a big bowl of it. The curry noodles at medium spice was a perfect level of tasty but not super spicy. The mango sticky rice was a great texture and sweetness to cap off the meal. The seating area was adequate for the volume of people. The service was excellent and attentive. Parking was ample and easily accessible

Our server was the sweetest man on earth. And the food was insanely yummy. So glad we found this hidden gem.

Amazing thai food experience! Unique & flavorful dishes served with love & care. You must try the chicken satay, pad see ew, and OMG the catfish -- so soft and yummy. The warm, loving atmosphere and unique versions of what would normally be basic thai dishes are just PERFECT! Don't miss this experience!

I normally start with the ending, and finish with the beginning in my reviews. Don't ask questions, it makes sense to me. I feel like my reviews can be long, so I try to save the readers the painful read. So the food makes it a gem, the timeliness of service gives it the three stars. Location: pay attention to the gps, you can miss it, even with signage. In a plaza, the restaurant is small. Their is a back dining area and a front dining area. It's cute, not overly modern, just looks family-ish. Menu: offers the Staples with option of chicken, tofu or beef. There are also quite a few vegetable option dishes. I love the aray of appetizers. Everything seems to be made to order. Had the wings and spring rolls. Took a long long time to get them, which was not okay for me, since they are appetizers. Anyway, was super yummy Main dish: decent portion, everything seemed fresh. Just again took soooo long. The other good thing is they don't rush you. You feel comfortable to dine, and laugh it up.

This place is a hidden gem! I have been here twice for lunch and both were superb experiences. They have bomb lunch specials that include a soup or a salad. I ordered the pad Thai both times. You can select which meat you'd like, I chose beef one time and shrimp the next. My friend got the basil chicken and raved about it. You get to choose your spice level. Server was the same both times, an attentive gentleman that was very kind and informative about the menu. I also have tried a handful of their appetizers, I'd recommend the rose bundle and spring rolls! Prices are very affordable. Will most definitely be back!

My sister in law transitioned from active duty to the reserves, so we had to celebrate when she stopped by Georgia. She wanted Pad Thai and I've had Royal Bistro on my radar for a while, so it seemed like a perfectly good time to go for it. My wife ordered the Masaman Curry w/chicken. She really enjoyed it and found the portion size to be good enough for two meals. I ordered the honey duck special. So succulent and flavorful! A must try if you're uncertain as to what you should try. I ordered everything via Uber Eats. To the credit of the restaurant and the delivery woman, everything was fresh and hot. I'll definitely do this again soon. *I wanted to order the mango sticky rice, but the Uber Eats menu didn't have it. It only had sticky rice, which is not the same thing. I think it's an issue with Uber, not the restaurant, as the guy on the phone confirmed they have mango sticky rice. Maybe next time?

Is the only fish on the menu catfish?

    Any vegan entrees?

Yes, appetizers - spring roll, fried tofu. I believe there was a stir fry and steamed white rice. And several items offer tofu to be added. I don't know about the sauces or if they have rice noodles.

Want to start off by saying that we had such great service here- our waitress answered all our questions and was very attentive. Ambiance is good as well. Lots of parking available. We got a couple of things: - Pan fried pork buns: The bun was nice & fluffy with a crispy bottom and juicy meat filling. The sauce it came with was great too- perfectly sweet & vinegary. - Dry beef mixed noodles: The beef was super tender, and the noodles were flavorful. This is meant to be a cold dish, but my mom was a bit hesitant about that and they were more than willing to serve it hot! (I definitely recommend having it cold though haha) - Szechuan Numbed Pepper Broth: Got this with fatty beef. I know some similar places let you put the fillings into the broth yourself, but ours came already assembled (which is what I personally prefer). We loved how mala this broth is, probs my favorite dish we got. Also loved the texture and lightness of the rice noodles. Lots of great fillings like quail egg, spam, wood ear mushroom, cabbage. - Korean Kimchi Broth: Got this with pork chop (though actually it was pork ribs). This is a great choice if you want a tomato-y broth that has a hint of spice and acidity. Another instance of the great service because the pork ribs were kind of hard to eat with our utensils and when we asked if they could possibly cut it up, they did not hesitate to do so. Also, the pork was (again) so tender! Would, no doubt, come back for another meal here. 10/10 would recommend!

As for the taste: the Sweet and Sour Pork (탕수육) was average--not impressive but not disappointing either. The Jjamppong (짬뽕) was flavorful with plenty of ingredients, making it enjoyable. However, the Shrimp Fried Rice (새우볶음밥) needs improvement, as the rice was too soft and lacked the firm, chewy texture that makes fried rice appealing. I gave it 5 stars overall, but I think some foods could definitely be improved.

We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal).
