The steamed gyoza were perfection yet seemingly impossible to pick up with a fork. Use chopsticks- they worked great! My pad see ewe was so, so savory and the chicken was tender. I loved it! The Pad Thai was a little too citrusy (but no lime- we couldn't put our finger on it). The orange chicken was different from other places we tried. In lieu of chunks of white and dark meat, these were breaded cutlets drizzled with sauce atop a small pile of veggies. Our teenager didn't care for it much but that's probably my fault for taking her to Panda Express too many times. The rice was remarkably good! And rather smallish. WOW! I can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner. The staff was very helpful in figuring out what to order and what is better. The interior makes you feel immersed and almost mom and pop feeling. The food is amazing. The flavors are there, every bite is sensational, I found myself making a sound to every chew from how wonderful I was enjoying eating the food. 10 out of 10! We ordered Gyoza for appetizer, Chicken Thai Fried Rice, Chicken Pad Thai, and Orange Chicken. We opted for no spice as the kids have sensitive tongues still. Food was delicious. We cleared all plates. Great rich flavors. Space was small but enough, felt modern yet homey. Staff was on point too- they were quick to fill water cups and cleared spent dishes fast. Great little find right off Pleasant Hill Rd. Small inside but the food is spot on. I think it's the best Thai food I've had in the area. Ordered the Num Tok beef salad - so good and refreshing. They replaced it but then gave a small order of pad Thai. I did not tip a lot because it wasn't warranted. Servers were EXTREMELY rude and started to laugh. I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at Pad Thai was so bad that I feel like people should know before spending their money here. First of all, the customer service was absolutely awful. When I went to pick up my to-go order, the woman working the counter looked at the receipt and immediately got upset because I didn't leave a tip. For a to-go order. Instead of just handing me my food like a normal person, she started giving me attitude and acting annoyed, like I had personally offended her. It was incredibly uncomfortable and honestly pretty unprofessional. Tipping is supposed to be optional, especially when you're just grabbing food to go. Getting mad at a customer over it is ridiculous. Unfortunately, the food itself was just as disappointing. The Pad Thai tasted horrendous. The noodles were soggy and clumped together, the flavor was completely off, and the whole dish tasted weirdly sour and stale at the same time. It didn't have the balanced, savory flavor you expect from Pad Thai at all. I took a few bites and immediately regretted ordering it. Between the rude attitude over a tip on a to-go order and the terrible quality of the food, this was easily one of the worst takeout experiences I've had. There are way too many good Thai places out there to waste your money on over this establishment that treats customers like this and serves food that tastes this bad. This place is really close by my house, and seeing that I've passed by it many times I thought it would be a good time to stop by. We were sat immediately and were provided drinks as well. We went ahead and ordered chicken drunken noodles, beef pad thai, and pork country pad thai. The country pad thai's flavor is more intense compared to the regular pad thai. Nonetheless it was still good. The food did come out at different times, but came out steaming hot. We were also provided some sauces, one was chili oil and the other... I have no clue whatsoever. A small Thai restaurant in a busy plaza. I liked the roti canal I just wished there was a bit more curry sauce given. The Tom yum soup was delicious and I liked that there were plenty of mushrooms in the soup. The papacy salad was okay just very fishy and not much other flavor aside from that. The pad Thai was good and the noodles weren't too overcooked. In terms of flavor I would go for the drunken noodles because I prefer a more savory flavor with my noodles. Ordered takeout from Pad Thai recently. Placed a group order through DoorDash and I was impressed with the organization in the packaging. Everyone's food was labeled with what they ordered through the group order. My favorite items were the drunken noodles and the pineapple fried rice. The fish cake appetizer had a very strong ginger aftertaste - was not my favorite but if you are a ginger fan, then this appetizer may be for you. Ordered the crispy vegetarian rolls to start then my boyfriend got a panang curry with crispy chicken and I got a pad Thai with tofu. We were very satisfied with our meals. For a place called "pad thai" this place had TERRIBLE PAD THAI. We got a lunch to go order of pad thai, drunken noodles, and green curry. Pad thai was sooooo under sauced and basically tasted like just wet noodles. Look at how white they are!!! Pad thai noodles should NEVER look like that. Super disappointing. Drunken noodles had no wok hei and also tasted very under seasoned. This at least has a little bit if spice to it though. Would not recommend these either. A new thai place in Duluth. Located in the same complex as Sweet hut! A small place inside with decent seating area. A lot of options on the menu that you wouldn't find at a typical thai restaurant. They have different variety of Pad thai! I've tried their Spicy pad thai. The food came out fast and tasted fresh. However, the fish aroma was way too strong for me (not my personal preference). This is my new favorite place to go for Thai food. The Pad Thai was so spicy and I love it. It actually resembled Thai spicy level unlike other restaurants. The beef salad was delicious. The beef was tender and juicy and I love sauce in the beef salad. It was spicy and salty but not too overwhelming. We ordered the stir-fried veggies because he wanted to eat something healthy. I thought it just you know veggies but wow it was yummy. Overall, the seasoning was on point and the food was cooked perfectly. We will come back whenever we craving Thai food. My first time at Pad Thai (By the way.. I cannot believe the restaurant's name is actually Pad Thai..) Anyways - my friend was craving pad thai so we decided to come here. Thai food isn't something I crave all the time, but I definitely like to have it from time to time. We were seated immediately and we ordered the following foods: beef pad thai, chicken fried rice and sesame chicken. My friend warned me that portions weren't big and he wasn't lying. Upon receiving our food, I must say I wasn't impressed with the portions. It wasn't small but it was definitely not what I was used to seeing at a Thai Place. But as long as the taste is good, I think that's what matters the most. We got all three menu items pretty quickly and you can also request chili oil which adds magnificent spice! The pad thai was pretty good -- nothing too fancy but it definitely was better than average and the addition of chili oil definitely enhanced the flavor. I also enjoyed the fried rice and I really enjoyed the sesame chicken as well -- it was super crispy and it was probably the best thing I enjoyed. Plenty of veggies too so it's not unhealthy as well.
