My first time at Pad Thai (By the way.. I cannot believe the restaurant's name is actually Pad Thai..) Anyways - my friend was craving pad thai so we decided to come here. Thai food isn't something I crave all the time, but I definitely like to have it from time to time. We visited on a Wednesday evening and the place wasn't too packed -- but it's good to note that the restaurant itself isn't big to begin with. We were seated immediately and we ordered the following foods: beef pad thai, chicken fried rice and sesame chicken. My friend warned me that portions weren't big and he wasn't lying. Upon receiving our food, I must say I wasn't impressed with the portions. It wasn't small but it was definitely not what I was used to seeing at a Thai Place. But as long as the taste is good, I think that's what matters the most. We got all three menu items pretty quickly and you can also request chili oil which adds magnificent spice! The pad thai was pretty good -- nothing too fancy but it definitely was better than average and the addition of chili oil definitely enhanced the flavor. I also enjoyed the fried rice and I really enjoyed the sesame chicken as well -- it was super crispy and it was probably the best thing I enjoyed. Plenty of veggies too so it's not unhealthy as well. Sliced white chicken!!! That's right, no chunks of dark meat buried under a thick layer of batter. They used finely sliced white chicken, lightly battered, and quickly fried - yum! Best Thai I've eaten in years. Mom was visiting and she loves Thai, sushi, Korean BBQ, etc. She was delighted with their pot stickers, sesame chicken, and pad Thai. Lunch portions are shareable, but expect to take home leftovers if you order dinner portion. The staff is friendly but busy. I watched a lot of takeout orders being picked up. The space is clean but sparse. No reason for gimmicky decor when the food is authentic. It was so good, I brought my husband back the following weekend. He ordered chicken and broccoli. Authentic Thai. Got the family size tum yum soup, 25$ came with crab, clams, shrimp. The flavor is all there. Pretty authentic, since the owner is originally Thai. Got the satay chicken, it was good but i wish it was more grilled i like it with the churn marks on them. I had better but it was still good. Parents got the seafood mixed veggies, 20$. It was really good. Flavors, spice, sweet was all there. Sister got the yellow curry and she enjoy it as well. Lots of parking by the restaurant. The inside is small but well decorated. Service was good, but the food just didn't do it for me. You can scan the QR code for the menu or you can request a menu. Golden bag: maybe the picture on the menu is wrong, but ours didn't look like that. The taste was good though, outside was nice and crispy. Just wished there was a bit more filling inside. Thai tea: this was delicious! Would recommend their Thai tea. Tofu triangle: missing the ground peanut. Nice crisp on the outside. Roti: first time that the Roti tasted sweet on its own. Also a bit too oily. The sauce was good, with a hint of spicy to it. Drunken noodle: I feel like the noodle and veggies are not proportional. Needs a bit more noodle. I had high hopes for this spot but it's just okay. I ordered pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and roti to go. The roti is DELICIOUS! Nice and fried, with the sweet coconut curry sauce. The pad Thai was good but nothing special. The pineapple fried rice severely lacked any type of flavor. The to go portions are good they don't skimp on anything. Very good food. Inside of the restaurant and restroom is very clean. The owner is super nice! We ordered an appetiser tofu triangle, it was crunchy outside but moist and soft on the inside. Delicious! We also ordered the pork larb salad. It was spicy and very flavorful also big portion. The drunken noodle was saucy and there was lots of vegetables. I would have liked it a little more spicy but I did ask for mild. The panang curry was flavorful as well and big portion. The meat was tender. I haven't had much luck finding really good thai food close to where I live in Duluth/Norcross area so decided to give this place a try based on the reviews and am so glad I did! I ordered the green curry with chicken and an order of the veggie spring rolls to go. Everything was ready for pick up quickly and when I tell you this was probably the best curry I have ever had! It was spicy, flavorful, just the right amount of veggies and chicken. The spring rolls were really good too! The only thing I would say is if ordering to go, they don't give you as much rice as curry but that is a minor issue as the food was just delicious! I will definitely be back and telling everyone about this place:) read more

VERY IMPRESSED. Honestly, Thai food is either a hit or miss but this restaurant HIT every single time with each bite. The flavors are distinctive and amazing. We ordered the pad see ew and tamarind duck. I wish they gave more noodles because we couldn't get enough of it. We requested for medium spice and it was the perfect kick! Great service. Have passed by this place a few times before. It's located at the Asian plaza with tons of restaurants and boba shops. I really liked their tom yum soup, it'd be better if the tofu was fried (personal opinion). I was kinda disappointed on the papaya salad, it looked really good but not much flavor in it, maybe more fish sauce, dried shrimp or palm sugar? Idk, lol. I highly recommend their Drunken noodle, so good that you can't miss out. The noodle was so chewy and smooth. One of my favorite noodle dishes, similar with pad see ew. I also ordered tom kha soup and the soup is very tasty and lots of ingredients! and the chickens are chunky, unlike some other restaurants when you order a soup it's mostly just broth. For main dish I opted for Moo Krob Pad Ped. Oh my! so delicious the pork belly is so crispy & the veggies are perfectly al dente not overcooked. Just right and you can taste the thai herbs and spice. AWFUL EXPERIENCE gotten food to go from here many times but never again. ordered food again like always and waited for 30 minutes for the restaurant to cook it then arrived to pick it up. there was no parking available except from way way far away and i had my child with me. called to ask with if they could hand it to me at curbside but the manager said they could not and was mad that i even suggested it. i understood though at the time so i eventually got a parking spot and went in. then went to pick up my order and the manager raised their voice saying we don't have your order. i was thinking what?! he said it as if i were to know this somehow. i showed him my order confirmation and he said we don't use skiplinnow.com. again how am i supposed to know that?! they are default for placing orders that pops up when on google, and they are how i've placed orders in the past. he offered no solution and instead ended discussion and started talking to the next customer. this is cosmic-level unprofessional behavior. he could have explained that they no longer partner with that company, apologized, offered the customer the food still due to the sheer inconvenience and the negative impact to their business reputation, with a statement that they will get their restaurant off of that companies platform but no. nothing. instead he was very rude, shockingly unprofessional and is willing to treat a loyal customer like sh*t. congratulations sir, i was in a pretty good mood today but you turned it to crap! everyone deserves better. read more

Staff straight up yelling for tips. My friend paid with her card and went back to the table to leave the cash tips on the table. The server didn't see the tips on the receipt, she quickly went to our table and yelled "you forgot to tip" so I pointed to the cash laying on the table saying right here. I use to go to Kokai on Jimmy Carter before they shut down. Ever since I have been looking for good Thai food near me. I found this place while eating at Choong Man Chicken and I haven't stopped going since. By far the best Thai food in the area.
