Really sad to leave this review, because the food was actually pretty good. Unfortunately this restaurant hosts its website with a predatory service called skipli that steals tips from delivery drivers. Why is this restaurant allowing some company to charge me for delivery and then pocket extra that was meant for a driver? I really hope the owners of Pad Thai will either stop using skipli or pressure them to cease their unethical (illegal?) business practices. read more

I randomly found this plaza full of Asian restaurants while running errands on this side of town and I decided to pick a random restaurant because they all looked really good. I decided on Pad Thai and ordered a few things for my boyfriend and I to take home. Pad thai with beef, fried rice with chicken, panang curry with tofu, the chicken + vegetable spring roll appetizer (forgot name on menu lol) and the mango sticky rice dessert. To put it in short, my boyfriend is picky as f*ck and I'm Asian with high Asian food standards lol and we both really loved everything that was ordered!!! Definitely demolished pretty quickly. Also the lady who took my order was so sweet, always a big bonus for great customer service :) The only thing I would add is my panang curry didn't come with any white rice. Usually at other restaurants I order from they always do, not sure if they just forgot to pack some or not! read more

We ordered roti canai, thai sausage, spicy chicken pad see you, and panache curry. And every single dish was so flavorful and delicious. There's not a lot of good thai restaurant around Duluth anymore but this one is a must go to restaurant!! The waiter and waitress were also so nice and very attentive. I've been waiting for this restaurant to open for so long, and it exceeded my expectations. I've been waiting for a Thai restaurant (that actually tastes good) to open up in Duluth & ya'll - 10/10! I will be back. Tried both the country pad thai & basil and both were great. Basil pad thai was more flavorful. Tried the shumai based on previous reviews & I would recommend as well (the fried ones)! Yellow curry was really good and was a very good size for the price. Pad Thai took over what's used to be the grill duck restaurant. The place is clean and very minimal which I like. We got sat right away and the servers is super nice and attentive even though he was by himself with some help from the BOH. We ordered crab fried rice, pad Thai, green curry, sautéed eggplant, papaya salad and Tom yum noodle soup. Hubby and his brother loves the food but it wasn't to my liking. Everything was either super sweet or super sour. The papaya salad was so sour with no spices(I'm not sure if we should asked for spice but I'm used to my papaya salad being spicy and not just sour), Tom yum soup was lacking flavors and the crab fried rice was very skimpy. For the price they should give a little more crab and just that little pieces on top of the rice. This place have lots of potential and so give them a try. I was on the hunt for a new Thai place, as we used to go to Thai Diner at Sugarloaf Mall, but they went out of business. Tried this place and was super happy I did! I got the Drunken Noodles and asked for "mild", which was still spicy but nothing excessive. I was impressed with the amount and variety of vegetables in this dish, as well as the excellent "gummy" chewy texture of the wide rice noodles. My husband enjoyed his pad thai noodles. I am excited to return and try more dishes! The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very nice and helpful. read more

The food was good, but the portions were pathetic! I ordered a curry dish in a dinner portion for around $15, and I left hungry. It had just a few ounces of chicken and a small cup of rice. They obviously micro-manager their food, which does not go well with me. I will not be back! They need to realize that people want value for their money. I've come here twice and the food has been good. I've had the pad thai, green curry, drunken noodles, nam tok, and chili duck. The prices here are quite steep compared to other Thai restaurants, but the quantity of food is good so it kinda evens it out. The food I would give a 4/5, but the service was definitely a 1/5 hence my overall review score. When I got the check on my 2nd visit here the waitress seemed to try and hide the price of the foods so when I took a second look I noticed that they had upcharged the chili duck from the $24.95 which was shown on the menu to $29.95. I asked about this and the owner said that they had raised the prices so the price was actually $5 higher. I told him that shouldn't be on the customer because I had ordered the dish thinking that it would cost $24.95. He said no that it was on me so instead of arguing any further I just deducted the amount from the tip and left without anymore argument. I won't be coming back here because of this, but the food was honestly pretty good. read more

I took my mother and brother out to eat when I first got there we were not approached we had to go look for someone to ask them to be seated. 2. We ordered thia tum yum shrimp soup which the guy came out with the seafood tum yum that we didn't ask for when corrected automatically they had an attitude all they did was take the soup back and took off everyone else except for shrimp and mushroom and had the audacity to change us for the seafood one which was $30. I don't mind paying for food we ordered but being charged for something we didn't ask for was wrong . We tried talking to the boss lady and she said it was the same price which it wasn't because we saw it on the menu. Worst experience I've ever had then I continued to tell her you know what it's okay you don't want to help me we will just call the bank and we said have a good day she proceeded to yell "hey" as if we were stealing and followed us to the front and tapped me and ask WHAT DID YOU SAY... that was embarrassing and basically put her hands on me.
