Chopstixx very quickly became the go-to Thai spot in Lawrenceville - outperforming Sri Thai and Lavender Thai after one visit. The downsides: Service is spotty - they are fairly understaffed so please be patient. However, they are kind and try their best. The upsides: Everything else! The food is fantastic - perfect for casual and die-hard thai food lovers. They have a wide selection of sushi dishes, appetizers, etc. on top of their already expansive Thai selections. Each visit I'm left feeling very content and have even brought friends here who have equally shared my praise. Pricing is fair and the interior, while small, is inviting and clean. I order the Pad Thai and Spicy Basil Noodles frequently while my girlfriend has ordered the salads which she enjoys. She tried the poke bowl but felt that there wasn't enough fish and the sushi wasn't up to her standards (albeit she has very high ones). She agrees with my sentiment to stick with the classic Thai dishes. Parking is fairly straightforward and safe. Don't let the current 3.9 stars fool you, it seems that the place is under new and improved management and they're doing a VERY good job. But before that, I couldn't resist ordering their Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. Who can say no to that?! I also grabbed some spicy tuna sushi. Both were delicious and the perfect intro to my PAD SEE EW. Now, here's where it gets interesting... The PAD SEE EW was packed with great flavor and amazing noodles. But here's the catch--I said MEDIUM heat. For those familiar with Thai food, you know this can be a risky move if you're not big on heat. Let me tell you, this was the hottest dish I've ever eaten AND finished. By the time I was done, I was sweating from my eyeballs! Service was good and fast for takeout. I ordered the general, no rice or anything else. I also asked if they heavily bread the chicken or is it a thin crisp. Thin and crispy they said. I think I waited about 10 minutes so not bad. I saw a couple that dined in as well. So for $9, not sure sure that the size of food was appropriate. The sauce was a bit different too. In the theme of 2020, another travesty has occurred. Apparently Chopstixx is under new management/owner. We would drive 25 minutes in the past to come to this restaurant, because it was so good. Tonight it was inedible. My sons chicken wings were barely cooked, COMPLETELY RAW. The Mongolian beef had no flavor, nor the Styrofoam noodles. Have you ever seen Mongolian Beef without the Styrofoam noodles? The egg drop soup tasted like water with egg chunks in it. It appeared they forgot to fry the fried rice. The egg rolls had some hidden surprise in the middle with the consistency of a loogie and tasted about as good. I'd rather eat at Panda Express. Plus it was more than $50 to feed a family of 4. If the original owner has opened a new restaurant please share, I'll never go back to this location again. read more

Left a review on Google already. New owner and new menu. Their Sichuan dishes are good and should be even better once their real spices arrive from Sichuan. (currently they using up the remaining inventory from the previous owner) if you order the typical Chinese takeout you are missing out on the really tasty spicy dishes. I had the Szechuan twice cooked pork, the cumin lamb and the steamed pot stickers. The twice cooked pork was bright and flavorful. The veggies were fresh as well as the pork which happened to be meticulously cut paper thin, you could just about see through the slices. The pork dish had a very mild sweetness and a little heat. The serving was plentiful. The cumin lamb was cooked to perfection along with fresh vegetables and chilies. This dish was exceptionally spicy but we loved every bit of it. The portion was large as well. The pot stickers were pretty tasty though they didn't stand out as much as the main courses. Over all, this was fine dining comparable food. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and detailed. We were actually shocked by the quality level of our food. I'll definitely be returning in the near future!
