Tucked away in a shopping center that could be hard to miss is this hidden gem! Was in the area and looking for something to eat, we were driving from shopping center to shopping center to find something for dinner and stumbled upon this restaurant! They do have 2 sets of hours of operation be sure to keep an eye out for that! They open from 11am-2:30pm, close and then reopen at 5pm. Once you enter staff is immediately greeting you. It's a nice, simple restaurant with beautiful decor. You are seated and handed menus and then handed some very fresh ice water. I ended up choosing the chicken pad Thai, and a Thai tea. The waitress was very attentive, making sure our water was filled and checking in with us often. The pad Thai was one of the best I've had in a while and was so full of flavor! Perfect temperature and perfect measurement of spices. This was so delicious I almost licked the plate clean! Overall, this shop was super cute. A bit on the pricier side but regardless it's worth a visit for some authentic Thai food ! A new special occasion favorite!

Came with a group to celebrate a birthday. There was plenty of space for us. The staff was friendly and patient with us since it was most of our first time here. Overall food was good. Made more for the American palate and everything generally tasted the same, to me. The chicken satay was very dry and bland though and the crab rolls were robbery. I think it was 5.99 or 6.99 for two small flat crab ragoon rolls =( But other than that everyone else really liked what they ordered. I couldn't get a picture of everything but most. Someone brought a cake for the birthday boy and our server helped provide paper plates and plastic ware which was not expected and greatly appreciated. Food, okay. Service, Great!

General Tso's Chicken about half eaten. I forgot to snap a pic at the beginning!

Another great meal at Talay Thai! Chicken Massaman is the best, give it a try! Full of chicken, avacado and cashews, it is always my go to meal from here. Nice servers and never that busy. They do a lot of takeout orders, but I always eat in.

Tom Yum -:) so good

Service was great. Food was very good:) I ordered the Mongolian Beef - Hot:) could have been a little more spicy. Tom yum was really good:) ambiance is okay. The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is I felt the space in the restaurant could have been a little more organized & cleaner. It was clean but could be better.

Food was great, good prices, and their milk tea was amazing! Host was nice, Server was prompt, and the atmosphere was great! Not to loud on the music at all. I'd give it a 11/10

I loved everything about my experience here. The service was great, the interior was cozy, and the food was spot on. I ordered the eggplant basil stir fry with chicken and the dish came out packing flavors that knocked my taste buds out the door. I ordered it medium spice and it was sooooo good. I ordered Thai tea (my fave), which is a good combo when eating Thai food. I would totally return to this place!

Masaman Curry

My family made a reservation for New Years Eve and a table was ready for us when we arrived. Was only 1 waitress working the whole restaurant, but restaurant is not too big in size. A couple of people at our table did not receive our waters until we were almost done eating. Had to grab our own silver ware from the bucket in the corner because the waitress forgot to give it to us. Food was a bit sweet for our liking. Our Thai basil fried rice didn't have a single piece of basil. Masaman curry kind of tasted like it had an overpowering cinnamon taste for some reason??? Pad Thai and Penang curry was good, other than being a bit too sweet. Portion size wise, the fried rice and pad Thai were typical portion found at Thai restaurants. The curries were pretty small portions and not much rice served with curry. Overall I probably will not come back but it was okay

We got a bunch of things including the hibachi (steak and shrimp), Tomiyama chicken, pad Thai, and spring rolls. While everything was just mid, I have to call out the pad Thai and spring rolls. The pad Thai was so incredibly sweet, it tasted of ketchup. The spring rolls were definitely frozen, I could taste freezer in every bite. The sushi was ok, probably the best of everything. The hibachi chef was also very nice and did a great job with the "show". I have to say - the place was not clean either. I know it was probably busier than usual due to Eid, but everything was a little dirty - from dishes to the table to the thing you get your check in, they all had something gross on it. We were able to flag the staff down at some point to clean the table and dishes, but it still felt gross. Super disappointing experience. I was here about a year ago, I think their standards have dropped significantly.

At lunch special. We did get seafood so it bumped each up to $19.95. Lunch special? It would be okay if it were amazing, but it was just pretty good. Unfortunately the seafood was not up to par. The squid pieces were charred and super chewy. I love squid, and yes, its supposed to be chewy, but not so much you can't really eat it. The mussels looked charred and gross and I did not eat it. The curry was tasty, and the drunken noodles were good enough. I think a give away that its not a traditional Thai restaurant is they dont have vinegar and jalapeño, which is pretty much at every authentic Thai restaurant. They only had vinegar. Service was a bit strange. We and one other group were eating but even with 2 staff, it was hard to get their attention. I had to walk up to them because they wouldn't come by or look over. Alas, the search for excellent Thai in the area continues.

My partner and I decided to try Tani Thai 02.20.2026 and stopped by around 6:30PM for dinner…read more First off, the interior seemed clean and well-kept. The ambiance was dark and intimate, which I appreciated -- it gave the space a cozy, relaxed vibe that felt nice for a dinner date. The music was low and soft, which worked well since most of the tables were talking pretty loudly. It didn't feel chaotic or overstimulating, and we were still able to have a comfortable conversation. Service was decent -- we were seated quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Here's what we ordered: Tiger's Tears ($15) - 3/5 This was the dish I was most excited about. It's described as grilled beef with chili-lime seasoning, onions, scallions, and sweet peppers. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The beef was noticeably tough, chewy, and a bit sinewy rather than tender and juicy. The chili-lime sauce was very sharp and aggressively acidic -- overwhelmingly sour to the point where it masked the savory, char-grilled flavor of the meat. It was supposed to be spicy, but as an Asian who regularly eats and enjoys spicy food, there was barely any heat at all. The dish looked vibrant and colorful, but flavor-wise it felt unbalanced and slightly one-dimensional. Basil Fried Rice with Chicken ($18) - 2.5/5 The menu labeled this as spicy as well, but again, there was zero kick. Not even a subtle warmth. It tasted like very standard, plain fried rice -- mildly seasoned, slightly oily, and lacking depth. The fresh Thai basil aroma wasn't very pronounced, and the overall flavor felt muted and underwhelming. The chicken was okay texture-wise, but the dish as a whole didn't stand out or justify the price point. It needed more heat, more fragrance, and more boldness to feel like true Thai basil fried rice. Coconut Mushroom Soup with Chicken ($5.50) - 2/5 This one was disappointing. When it first arrived, it was comforting and creamy with a light coconut aroma. Initially, it tasted balanced and mildly savory. However, as it sat and I alternated between dishes, the flavor became increasingly sour and slightly off-putting. The chicken was extremely dry, stringy, and overcooked, which made it difficult to enjoy. The broth lacked the rich, silky depth I was hoping for and ended up tasting thin, overly acidic, and somewhat flat. Thai Teas ($5.50 each) - 3.5/5 Honestly, these saved the night. Sweet, creamy, and refreshing -- exactly what you expect from a good Thai tea. Smooth, well-balanced, and flavorful. Water - 0/5 I took one sip and didn't touch it again. It tasted like straight tap water with a faint cleaning solution scent. Thankfully, we had the Thai Teas to rely on. Overall, the experience was okay but not memorable. The atmosphere and ambiance were pleasant, but the food didn't quite deliver -- especially considering how Thai cuisine is typically bold, aromatic, spicy, and layered. For us, the dishes leaned either too sour or too bland, without much balance in between. Given the prices, we were expecting more depth and stronger flavors. Not a terrible experience, but not one we'd rush back for either.

I asked first if they cooked in peanut oil since I'm allergic to peanuts. The hostess told me she would check and came back and told me they cooked in vegetable oil... so we got seated pretty quickly. The service was pretty good. We ordered our food which took some time but the wait wasn't too bad. We ordered the fresh basil rolls as an appetizer, I ordered the shrimp & garlic wine and my friend ordered the tiger tears salad. We also ordered 2 cocktails a old fashioned and a lychee martini. As well as the mango with sticky rice for dessert. Let me tell you all the food was tasty and excellent. The ambiance was very cool. Definitely a cool place for a date night. I can say I will definitely be back again.
