I stopped by for a late dinner today and ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and decided to also try the fried calamari. When the food came out, I was taken aback by the calamari portion. It was significantly smaller than expected and absolutely tiny for the $12 price point. While the taste and texture were good, I wouldn't order it again because other places typically serve a larger portion for that price. As for the Pad Thai, it was very bland. We had to ask for pad Thai sauce on the side to mix in. After adding the sauce, it tasted just right! Aside from the food, the service was great tonight. We received a warm welcome, and the servers were attentive and helpful throughout our visit. We still enjoyed our time nonetheless. I'll still give SriThai three stars because I do enjoy coming here overall, but I hope to see more consistency and portion sizes that make sense for the price. read more

Given the price, this is a definite no. Thai is one of my favorite cuisines, and Pad See Ew is at the top of that list. I've had it countless times all over the country, and this version just missed the mark. I paid $28 for the beef, and it simply wasn't good. The flavor wasn't there, and it had a strange vinegar taste that threw everything off. Normally, I'd give a place another chance, but at this price point, it's not worth it. Went here a while ago. The service was only a bit rough. Like we said we got the tom ka kai pot to share and we didn't get bowls for everyone. Having to chase our server down to get water. Just a sea of dribbles like that. I enjoyed the roti massaman because I am weak for massaman. But they don't give you enough sauce and it runs salty for those sensitive. So that knocks it off for me. The tom ka kai itself is good but more coconut forward. The ingredients were good for it. The boat noodle soup was a let down. Not as flavorful or complex as I was expecting. The pad si ew was great. I came here with a friend for lunch during a week day. There's plenty of parking. It wasn't too busy, but there's a consistent flow of customers coming in. I was greeted and sat right away. The menu is extensive with Thai and Japanese sections as well as a lunch section. We started of with Thai sampler that includes spring roll, chicken satay, gyoza and fried calamari. The spring roll was nice with a crunch, the gyoza is port and also fried. The chicken satay was good but the peanut sauce was a bit thin. The fried calamari was soft but too much breading and it came apart soon as I bit into it. I got the sushi sashimi lunch portion and it came with nice salmon and tuna sashimi, sushi, California roll, fried roll and a cucumber salad. Everything was fresh and I love the ginger. It was nice size for lunch. The servers were attentive and we enjoyed our time there without being rushed. The inside is modern with a nice bar. I've heard of SriThai for years and have come across a few locations, but I'd never been until now. Some friends and I decided to meet here for lunch, and I'd say it was a good choice. We were greeted and seated right away. A few other tables were full with customers, but it wasn't a very busy time of day. The atmosphere was fairly quiet and everything was nice and clean. Our waiter arrived quickly to take our drink orders. By the time he came back, which wasn't long, my friends and I were ready to order. We ordered spring rolls and Thai egg rolls as appetizers. I don't recall what each of them ordered for their meals, but I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered the chicken larb. The flavor wasn'y anything incredibly special but it was nice and light, which is what I was in the mood for. Be Aware, this location does not follow ADA laws and discriminates against those with disabilities. My husband, my son, his medical alert service dog and I entered the lobby of the restaurant and requested a table for 3. The gentleman named Vincent and another employee at the front desk asked that I provide an official documentation card that the dog is a certified service dog. I politely informed them that such documentation does not exist in the United States and that they are only allowed to ask two questions. I informed them what they were allowed to ask and also pulled up the ada.gov website and showed them the law. They continued to request documentation, we informed them that we would be reporting them and that it was against the law to refuse us service. There was another gentleman standing at the counter placing a to go order who was on the phone and put his phone down and tried to let them know he was also familiar with the law and the questions they could ask. I regretfully did not get his name or contact information. Our son's dog was also leashed, under complete control and vested. Not that she is legally required to be vested or leashed. Our dog was trained in Xenia, Ohio through 4 paws for ability for seizure alert, seizure safety and behavior disruption. Once again, information we are not required to provide but did. We have frequented this location in the past many times prior to him having his dog. We were extremely disappointed. The Sri Thai in Snellville has seated us many times with the service dog without question. read more

I have to give SRI Thai Duluth 1 Star, very disappointing and POOR experience. Reasons are as follows: Meals intentionally missing main ingredient or vegetables - Beware! On 2 occasions the Pad Prik that comes with eggplant and other vegetables, was intentionally missing the eggplant. Staff does on purpose and hope you will pay 20.00 without realizing the main ingredient is not there and start eating, you have a plate of beans and a protein. They fooled me once but I was on guard and they attempted the 2nd time. I pointed this out to the manager and he said they have 2 meals with eggplant and it appears they choose to keep the eggplant for the other higher price without letting you know, and keep the same 20.00 charge. Next and they did not offer to remake the dish, they brought a tiny bowl of eggplant out to me to mix in the plate and the waiter stated it is only 4 pieces, like it did not really matter and handed over to me to blend in. - Sushi appetizers arrived after main course and some appeared thrown together, like chief got tired of putting in the roll. --After the meal I spoke to the manager, since I believed a tip was not warranted. I wanted to ensure he knew what happened in hopes of getting a meaningful reason of why they are falsely advertising ingredients and tricking customers. Instead, I received a lazy apology, no mention of discount and no comment that it would not happen again. He kind of shrugged it off. - This was a disappointing experience because we have been to this SRI Thai several times over the years and it was considered it my fav Thai spot. I guess it is time to move on to a place where honest people work and appreciate that YOU keep THEM in business. Sri Thai has one dish I've always looked for on Thai menus but don't often see--Kao Soi, a curry noodle soup with chicken and topped with crispy noodles and herbs. Naturally I had to have it, and it really delivered. I found the curry soup to be well balanced with a sweet beginning and spice near the end. I loved the egg noodles and the texture of the crispy noodles. Will definitely return for this one! I removed a star for the green curry, which had a little too much coconut milk for my liking. This may be my fault though, as I ordered mild and they might have had to diminish the spice. I also think these dishes are priced high, each one was around $20. The price may be a result of the ambience, which is modern and not the average Thai restaurant, more geared toward date nights. Overall I would return for the kao soi! If you're looking for a more affordable Thai option maybe look elsewhere, but this place would be good for dates or celebrations. read more

We visit this restaurant pretty often. I ordered the lad na and it was terrible. Way too much black/dark soy sauce and too sweet. The dark soy makes dishes bitter and it was definitely bitter. The noodles were clumped together and we had to ask a random staff member for the tray of vinegar/pepper sauces. We should not have to ask for this. It should be brought to the table automatically when a customer orders the lad na dish. They charged 4.00 for beef and that was not displayed on the menu. We also ordered the orange roll and red dragon roll that did not disappoint. Their sushi chefs always do an amazing job! Waiters and waitresses need to come back and check on tables and she never came back nor did she know much about the menu when we asked questions. Our overall experience was just okay. I came here with an old friend and right before leaving we realized we had tried Sri Thai 6 years ago. We ordered the veggie spring rolls (3) and basil rolls to start, and they were delicious! I ordered the pad Thai with tofu. Keep in mind that it is a very large portion and can definitely be shared! I really liked it. I was surprised at the spice level- I asked for medium and it was still pretty spicy! So keep that in mind. I really liked the ambience, and it is sooo much bigger than I expected. The Thai food here is good but it's a fusion restaurant so they've got sushi and maybe some other Asian food The service here is not great. They don't come check on you and each entree arrived minutes apart so for 6 of us, the last person got their food about 15 minutes after the first which was just awkward. When they come to bring plates, some of the staff run away while you're literally trying to pass them the plates you don't need. That was so bizarre to me. They put one water refill on the table for everyone and good luck if you need more. Some staff were more friendly than others but we saw that person twice, once to take our order and once to bring the check which they were super fast on that part. We tried the egg rolls, fried tofu as appetizers and I got the pad prik tofu. All of the food was delicious and my mom loves this place despite the service so we'll probably be back but I prefer some other places for Thai (I've not had their sushi). read more

Came by for lunch to celebrate my sister's birthday with a group of five ladies and we had a great time! Our waitress was Haley and she was super sweet. Sri Thai has always been a go to place for us so I'm surprised I haven't left a review YET. During this trip we ordered a selection of beautifully made cocktails, thai sampler, chicken red curry, ka yang (grilled chicken), khao moo dang (pork and sausage), and about 5 different sushi rolls. Honestly the grilled chicken and pork dishes were pretty underwhelming especially when comparing to the pictures they have on their menu. Their sushi is usually the reason why we always come back. Tasty and satisfies our cravings enough. Service has always been pleasant and drinks yummy. My husband lovessss their curries. I personally feel they are too sweet but that's my preference. I do feel the quality of the dishes has gone done since precovid but I that's a trait that's being seen in a lot of businesses lately. Never had a bad experience here, the food is always so flavorful. Our server Rez was very nice and checked on us often throughout our time. We had a severe peanut and treenut allergy, and they were nice to accommodate that. The Thai eggrolls are a MUST, they are not your average eggrolls or Thai spring rolls. Pad see ew is my go to but we got the drunken noodles and panang curry level 3 spice. Be careful! Bc level 3 can be a lot if you don't like it too spicy. But it was the perfect level of spice where I get a little sweat on my nose but not where my lips are burning. Good food, great service, and a laid back atmosphere. The seating was a little cramped at the bench seating area and they weren't using the big booth area, which we would have preferred. The appetizers were stellar -- definitely try the Thai egg rolls! The oil they used was fresh and the fried food still felt light. The kids meal coming on the boat was a hit! My daughter was thrilled. The Thai Spicy Basil Noodles were not at all spicy, so my partner was a bit disappointed, but their treatment of the tofu as the protein was excellent -- firm and flavorful. (Some restaurants don't do much to their tofu so it's very plain and soggy.) The pineapple fried rice was a table favorite, along with the Miami Roll; they weren't kidding when they said fried crab meat comes on top!! It was a lot bigger portion than expected. The other two sushi rolls -- the SriThai and the eel roll -- were average but good. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu -- there's so much to choose from! One of my absolute favorite Thai spots to go to and so happy there is one in Duluth. My parents and I stopped by to grab some dinner on a Saturday night and luckily it wasn't too busy. We were seated quickly and went with the panang curry and basil fried rice with mild level of spiciness. I had ordered medium before and played it safe but could have gone higher on the spiciness level. We got our food within 10min of ordering and the quantity for the price was well worth it! The panang curry was probably the best one I have ever had. There was a hint of spiciness and quantity of chicken was really good. The basil fried rice was delicious as well! Food was excellent. I usually order my Asian style foods extra spicy. The server asked how spicy I wanted it from 1-5. I told him 5. They did not disappoint! Finally I got a meal that was up to my level of heat from a restaurant! Thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife enjoyed her chicken also. The only little issue was that there was a family nearby who were keeping their kids entertained with an iPad that had the volume up so loud we could hear it. If you are ever craving Sushi and Thai food at the same time, this is the place for you! Their sushi tastes fresh, red dragon roll is great, my second favorite is the kamikaze roll-it's pretty amazing too! The regular maki rolls like spicy tuna and salmon roll tastes decent and cost less than $10. For Thai food, my absolute favorite is the spicy Tom yum fried rice with shrimp! But we often just go here and order the big pot of Tom kha or Tom yum soup, especially when it's so cold out there. The Thai curries are creamy and flavorful, I recently tried the Thai Rama curry- I'd give it 8/10! The service is always nice and fast, the servers are very helpful and friendly. We wanted to decorate for my Friend's Birthday and they let us do all that. This restaurant is usually busy, so if you go with a large party, reservation is highly recommended. However, I never reserve for 4-5 people. It's also a nice date night spot, has good lighting, pictures come out nice and of course they've got pretty cocktails too! My honest review: This place is a cheap restaurant disguised in fine dining so that they can charge up. The pad Thai noodles alone are not authentic pad Thai. More Americanized. Orange noodles, and they're suppose to be more brown. It reminded me of like a Thai express place. However the service is great! The greeters were kind and the waiters were also. Nice atmosphere. I didn't end up trying their sushi online the ones I wanted to try said it was snow crab inside, however when I got in and looked at the menu it was mixed imitation crab.
