New favorite restaurant on Jimmy Carter! One word... WOW. Every dish we ordered was absolutely amazing! The larb tuna isan was so delicious, I would recommend this dish to anyone who tries this spot 10/10!!! For main dishes we got the Isan Gyudon (steak bowl) and Larb gai (grounded chicken dish) both great menu options! We ordered the isann kaya roll, it was so good I wanted to try all the rolls LOL!!! While I frequent this Jimmy Carter plaza often for the wonderful Vietnamese food offered, I just had to stop by this new Isan Thai and Japanese izakaya style fusion restaurant. We wanted to try a Thai dish and ordered the Thai spiced chicken. It was nothing like I was expecting. It was a reddish chicken which reminded me of just the ordinary Chinese chicken at the bbq places. There were no Thai spices on it and the chicken was soooo dry and over cooked. There was barely any meat on it. Would not recommend ordering. Overall everything was mediocre and very pricey for what you get. Our favorites were the steak dishes and the papaya. They were cooked to perfection. The sauces for the steaks were so good! I love namtok salad and this one did not disappoint. The papaya lao style was so good. The eel was very good. I was impressed at how good the eel bowl was and the sauce on it was the perfect amount. I just wished the sticky rice was fresh or put in a bowl at least. It was warmed up in a microwave and given to me in a plastic sandwich bag. It was very weird! Like it was someone's lunch they packed and it was warmed up in a microwave then given to me. The portion sizes for every dish was small. We did share everything at our table but we cleared it up and we ordered a lot. The basil noodles didn't have much flavor. It just tasted like basil but I liked how it was piping hot when it arrived. Casual restaurant in the busy Hong Kong plaza. I really liked the drunken noodle it had a nice hint of spice. I also liked that there were plenty of veggies throughout. The Thai tea was pretty good just a bit on the sweeter side. I did not really enjoy the Tom yum soup I felt like it was really salty but not a lot of flavor. The sushi was really good and tasted pretty fresh (sadly I don't remember the name of the roll, but it did have mango). I would definitely come again and try more dishes. read more

Best Thai food I've ever had. My husband agreed. We tried dishes we've never had and they were so tasty and fresh. Better than the traditional Pad Thai. We had the hot n spicy beef zaap soup dish and we all loved that including my kids. Also tried the papaya salad, Tomyum pork noodle dish, and the beef boat noodle dish.
