Great place for late night cravings of Japanese food since they're open until 4AM!! The sashimi tasted fresh but wish they have more options.

Came for dinner and loved the interior of this place. Large selection on their menu and some items had pictures as well. We got the takoyaki, udon, pork belly with bean sprouts, negima and beef skewer. The beef skewer was wayyyy too tough to chew. The negima was definitely my favorite as it was pretty tender and a little sweet. The takoyaki was pretty good as well. The udon was okay at best, it came with two tiny little fish balls and the soup was overly salty. The pork belly bean sprout had good flavor but the pork was wayyy too thin and there were only a couple pieces in the dish. I thought the service was nice but they never came back once to check on us. Overall, glad there's a place open this late but food and service could be improved.

It was my 2nd time visiting Ozuri Izakaya. I met one of my good friends there about 2 weeks ago for dinner. The food did not disappoint! We ordered the ozuri Hana course. It was so delicious.. The ambiance in this restaurant is amazing. This place has really good food. Thr service was on point as usual. I will definitely be back with some friends soon. The sushi is alway fresh here as well as all the other items that come with the Hana course.

excellent spot for a quick dinner. extremely fresh sashimi and the skewers were great! A bit on a pricier side but definitely worth the price and drive out

Ozuri Izakaya is a Japanese pub with drinks, ramen, sushi, and more. The inside looks like a typical Japanese restaurant and because it stays open so late, the vibes really depend on who is inside. Service was efficient and friendly. We got the Shishito Pepper, Chicken Skin, French Fries, Ozuri Tebanaka Wings, Shrimp Tempura, and other small bites. The Shishito Peppers were really flavorful, which surprised me. I liked the French Fries a lot as they were thick and crispy, plus the sauce that it came with was tasty. The Shrimp Tempura was not the usual beer battered kind, but less doughy and more shrimpy. I thought it was still good as it paired well with the sauce it came with. The Ozuri Tebanaka Wings were really delicious... a good mix of sweet and tangy. I will say the portions for the food are a bit pricey especially since the portions are kind of small. But we did get a pitcher of beer that was relatively cheap. I think this is a great spot for people who want to have good eats and drinks late at night. The food is solid and it was not too busy when I went on a Friday night, so you can talk to your friends without having to shout over each other. It is more chill than the typical late night Asian spots in Duluth, but I think that can be a perk.

I must say I was a little disappointed. The prices were quite high for the small bites of food you get. And each dish was just okay. Someone in our group ordered the chicken wings, which allegedly came with 12 pieces. Turns out each wing was really a half wing. So essentially it was an order of 6. I was also shocked that the menu included a skewer of a few grilled garlic cloves -- for $5. That seems quite high to me. The only standout thing we ordered was the beef tataki. That was the redeeming factor. Besides the fact that this place is open till 4am and presents a good late night hangout spot, I wouldn't say it was especially amazing unfortunately!

The interior was really nice. Staff greeted you with enthusiasm as you walk in. The menu was big because it meant to be share. It's a place where you order multiple dishes, share with everyone as you drink together. The food was ok in my opinion. Squid was delicious but was not a fan of the dipping sauce. The chicken wings were tiny, like one bite was all you needed. They did season it really well though. The sashimi was very fresh. You can choose between a small or a large portion, very nice presentation with the box it came out with. As for drink, I got the lychee martini. Wow, it was absolutely delicious. I got another one. Overall, it was a good experience.

*Free Parking *Best tayoyaki in town, tastes just like Japan. Must try their Yakitori skewers: the chicken, pork belly and beef was flavorful and delicious. *Assorted Sushi & Sashimi was fresh and perfectly cut. *AJI Ramen: Rich and savory ramen with a flavorful broth and tender noodles. *We also try the Sukemono Moriawase (Assorted Pickles), Smoky Potato Salad, Edamame, Chicken Nanban, Shishito Green Pepper and Okonomiyaki. Japanese savory pancake with cabbage, meat, and various toppings. My personal favorite was the chicken Nanban and Japan Pancake. *Thank you Ethan for such an impeccable and friendly service. *Just had the ultimate Japanese food experience at Duluth's newest hidden gem--Ozuri! The moment you step inside, it feels like you've been transported straight to the heart of Japan. *From perfectly crispy tonkatsu, melt-in-your-mouth takoyaki to smoky grilled yakitori and ultra-fresh sushi, every bite was a flavorful and delicious. The chefs are straight from Japan, bringing true authenticity to every dish. If you're craving the real deal--Ozuri is it. Can't wait to go back!

Ozuri Izakaya offers a beautiful ambiance and truly excellent service. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the same standard. Across the board, each dish felt underwhelming, and not just because of the high price point. Flavors lacked depth, presentation was inconsistent, and overall the meal didn't reflect the caliber we expected. By the end, we had no hopes and felt no reason to order dessert. A lovely setting and warm hospitality, but the culinary experience fell short.

Came here for dinner with my family and they were able to seat our large group. Their menu was easy to order since it was in sets and amount of people we had. The food was fast and decent. Server were super friendly.

Decided to try Ozuri Izakaya out early in the evening to see if it's worth adding to the late night list. Upon entering we were promptly greeted by the host who seated us near the front. The decor is lots of wood and bamboo with subdued lighting for that cozy tavern feel. We ordered some skewers and a Takoyaki. It took less than 5 minutes for the first batch to arrive after ordering. The pork belly and the beef both had a sweet glaze which was unexpected but pleasant. The Takoyaki was also excellent. Ozuri Izakaya made the cut and it's on our late night list based on service, atmosphere, and the limited items we tried. We'll be back another time to try a more extensive list of menu items.

went here late at night (maybe 11pm or 12am) and despite it being kind of busy, the servers were all very attentive! such a friendly atmosphere they all welcome you when you come in lol and it's honestly really big in there. you can definitely bring a huge group of friends to this place! the food portions are pretty small in size like honestly they all kind of feel like appetizers? at least the ones that we ordered, but i didn't mind because everything is really cheap and you can order a lot of things to try. like a tapas vibe lol and of course everything tasted really good. loved the tonpeiyaki. i especially liked their desserts though, if you're not a huge fan of matcha you should still try the matcha cheesecake because it's not strong in flavor but definitely get the pudding! from what i remember, the top layer is a bit bitter, but it's worth trying for sureee. overall a very pleasant experience and i'm glad that Duluth has another great late night spot! most of the other spots open late are pochas which only offer pretty heavy servings so this is a nice place if you're not feeling that hungry and don't want to commit to too much

Yumee Katsu is a modern-style katsu spot, and overall, the food is tasty even though I've definitely enjoyed some dishes more than others. My go-to order is the Assorted Katsu meal, and it's a winner for variety, flavor, and portion size. You get a couple of pieces of shrimp tempura, fish katsu, and pork & cheese katsu, plus the option to add a small side of udon or soba noodles. The fish katsu is light and flavorful, and the pork with cheese is a full-on cheese pull party. I also really enjoy their salad dressing and the dipping sauces that come with the donkatsu and fish katsu- they add a lot to the meal. The ambiance has a nice, modern vibe, and the service has always been friendly and welcoming. A small but thoughtful touch: they offer Asian candies for guests, which is a fun little refresher after your meal. Overall, Yumee Katsu is a great spot in Suwanee if you're in the mood for well-executed katsu in a cool, comfortable setting. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

I was a huge fan of this place when it was strictly Japanese...and was quite bummed when I heard…read morethey changed this restaurant from Japanese to Asian fusion. In any case, I finally decided to check out the place for dinner. Well, right away, I saw that they added more tables. Even with more tables, the restaurant still seemed pretty spacious. I've always loved the spaciousness of this place...but I find the layout a bit awkward. Unless you come with a group of 4, you'll most likely be seated in the open area...where there's just this utter lack of privacy. So yeah, as nice as this place is, there's a certain lack of comfort and coziness? I also noticed that their menu/menus looked quite different. Initially I was handed just this Korean-Chinese menu...and when I asked if they had Bento Boxes, they handed me the Japanese menu, but I didn't see any sushi rolls on the menu (??). I should have asked, but I just let that go. In retrospect, I really regret not asking. But then again, I wonder why they didn't hand out ALL the menus right off the bat? Who knows...Maybe they had a third menu with a list of sushi rolls?? ANYWAY, I ended up ordering their Bulgogi Bento, which turned out to be quite substantial in portion, and well presented. The thing I didn't like was the bland, undercooked Bulgogi, with excessive fat. I've been getting served a lot of Bulgogi like this lately around town..and it has somewhat turned me off to Bulgogi in general. I personally prefer a much better cooked Bulgogi, with less fat. I enjoyed the Japchae, as well as the fried sides, but frankly, all the foods were all lacking in full Korean flavor. Some of the sides in the bento just seemed off...like these lackluster Avocado Sushi Rolls and a generic Salad (??). I felt that for the 32-dollar pricing, the sides should have been much better. This bento also came with Egg Drop Soup...but again, too bland. Guess I should have poured some soy sauce. As usual, the service was really good though. They even added this complimentary post-meal drink...this might have been the best part of my entire meal? I still think this is a really nice restaurant, with a lot to offer. I just didn't like how it got rid of many of its stellar Japanese menu items. Also, unfortunately, I just didn't like what I ordered. Again, the Bulgogi was too mild and too fatty...and all the foods in the Bento tasted a bit too bland. If I was to return, I would definitely not repeat the Bulgogi Bento. If they really don't have any sushi rolls, guess I'd order something Chinese?

Outstanding ramen, incredible fresh noodles, and excellent service from Aaliyah…read more Okiboru Ramen Takumen in Duluth was absolutely worth the visit, and honestly, I'm just mad at myself for not trying it sooner. I started with the Okiboru buns (chicken and pork) the crispy gyoza, and the garlic nori fries. All three were a great start to the meal. The buns were soft and fluffy, and the pork bun worked really well with the garlic aioli, soy glaze, and pickled cucumber. The chicken one was good too but the pork one beats it on flavor. The gyoza had a nice crisp to them and came with a shoyu dipping sauce that tied everything together well. The garlic nori fries were also really good, crispy and well seasoned, and a fun side to snack on between everything else along with the garlic sauce to dip your fries in. For my main dish, I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which comes with rich pork broth, pork chashu, half a soft boiled egg, scallions, and thin Hakata noodles. I also added the thick noodle refill on the side, and I'm glad I did because both noodles were excellent in different ways. The biggest standout here was the noodle quality. You can tell immediately that these are fresh noodles because the texture is just on another level. The thin noodles were fantastic and worked perfectly with the tonkotsu broth, but the thick noodles were incredible too. It's one of those meals where after the first bite you immediately understand why people talk about fresh noodles the way they do. The broth itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling overly heavy, and the pork in the ramen was very good too. Service was also a big part of why this visit stood out. Aaliyah was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she did a great job making the whole experience feel comfortable from the start. Good food is one thing, but good service is a huge part of what makes people want to come back, and she absolutely deserves a shoutout. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I was dining solo, so I sat at a smaller table, but they also have booths and larger middle tables that look like they'd work well for bigger groups. Food came out pretty quickly, and parking was easy since it's in a shopping center. And of course, everything got washed down with a Coke Zero. Not fountain, just canned, but it still hit the spot. This was an excellent meal from start to finish. Great appetizers, outstanding ramen, truly impressive noodles, and service that made the whole visit even better. I'll definitely be back.

My boyfriend ordered the truffle shoyu ramen and also found it to be underwhelming. The ambiance has also changed since my last visit. They've replaced the middle bar area with more tables and painted over the previously drawn-on walls. The space feels noticeably darker now and lacks some of the character it once had.
