Volcano Sushi & Hibachi is hands down our go-to spot, especially for 50% off sushi Mondays. The value is unbeatable; we can easily get 6-7 rolls for around $60, which is an absolute steal, especially in Atlanta. Honestly, who wouldn't come back at that price point? Our must-order rolls never change: Angry Dragon, Manhattan, Yami 2014, Special Crunchy Roll, Fuji Mountain Roll, and the Aloha Roll. We even have these rolls saved in our phone notes app & show the wait staff for quick ordering. Every roll is consistently fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. We always leave completely stuffed and satisfied. Even on busy 50% off Mondays, the service is quick, prompt, and efficient. We've never had an issue dining here -- everything runs smoothly, and the staff keeps things moving without making you feel rushed. Great food, amazing value, and reliable service. Volcano Sushi & Hibachi is a must-visit if you love sushi and a good deal. We'll definitely keep coming back!

See GREASE running from the steak DIRECTLY ON OUR SHRIMP for which the manager told me that wasn't how they cook steak PIC PROOF

ZERO STARS DO NOT EAT HERE THE FOOD ISN'T GOOD BAD EXPERIENCE Not a good experience at all we ordered Shrimp and chicken rice vegetables I/we don't eat meat but our shrimp was grilled directly beside another customer steak as you can see in picture the meat grease ran into our shrimp that taste of the beef made us sick to our stomach when I complained to female managers she told me that wasn't possible they don't cook the meat near the shrimp she didn't know I'd taken pictures however we will not be eating there again they lost a loyal customer PICTURES DONT LIE

The Monday deal of 50% off rolls was great, except that the rolls weren't that great. The Kamikaze rolls was super skinny and the salmon was so thin that it was probably less than a regular maki roll, which would be less than half the price. It looks good, most of the roll is filler and not not fish. The raw fish didn't taste fresh either. The service is was slow for getting our table started and our order ready. Maybe we came at an off time. It seems like the place to go if you just want some cheap sushi and the hibachi experience without thinking too much of quality.

I came here on a Tuesday. The ambiance was nice and there was no wait time. The server came right out to seat me. I ordered the salmon box with rice on the side. I'd say, overall the food was only ok, I wasn't that crazy about it.

The first you notice about Volcano Steak and Sushi is the cool interior look. Love the industrial-type theme with the metal welded walls and lighting above the bar area. Both the sushi and hibachi are excellent. The staff is super polite and very efficient. Love the little TOGO robots! I highly recommend you give them a try.

METAL IN MY FRIED RICE! bland, overpriced, no garlic butter i rice? tasted like steam rice. steak was 40% fat. no lemon on shrimps. this is a total failure.

Place is huge and was clean. Waiter was friendly and quick to serve us! Food came out quickly as well, we were in and out in 30 minutes. Sushi roll was a 5/5 but hibachi chicken lunch fell short. It's not hibachi but rather chicken teriyaki with unseasoned fried rice. Soup and salad were good and came with the entree! Sushi was 50% off on Monday which was a great deal!

Celebrating a birthday today and she decided on hibachi by her house!!! Here's how it went. Ambiance: very club like feel, retro and vibing. Service: was good and attentive but nothing out of the ordinary. Food: was decent and scratches the itch but pretty pricey and made me a little tummy sick. They are having all you can eat dim sum coming soon too. Overall not a bad experience but maybe wouldn't come here again. PS. OUR HIBACHI CHEG CEASAR WAS AWESOME!!!!

It's a "Yes" for us! Volcano does hibachi well. I am a vegetarian so I ordered the veggie hibachi and I was not disappointed at all. It was painful and very flavorful. The service was great. We were actually seated by a robot. The actual waitress was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The restaurant was clean and the service was fast. I would definitely recommend this place for large groups, birthdays, date night or for lunch.

Great vibes and outstanding service! The staff were incredibly accommodating to our fairly large, last-minute birthday group. While the food was pretty standard, the level of service really stood out and made the experience special.

They even made a heart shape in the rice for Valentine's Day!

Food is always spot on. Sushi is delicious. Friendly welcome every time. They sang happy birthday to our coworker and made a heart shape of the rice for Valentine's Day.

I was a huge fan of this place when it was strictly Japanese...and was quite bummed when I heard…read morethey changed this restaurant from Japanese to Asian fusion. In any case, I finally decided to check out the place for dinner. Well, right away, I saw that they added more tables. Even with more tables, the restaurant still seemed pretty spacious. I've always loved the spaciousness of this place...but I find the layout a bit awkward. Unless you come with a group of 4, you'll most likely be seated in the open area...where there's just this utter lack of privacy. So yeah, as nice as this place is, there's a certain lack of comfort and coziness? I also noticed that their menu/menus looked quite different. Initially I was handed just this Korean-Chinese menu...and when I asked if they had Bento Boxes, they handed me the Japanese menu, but I didn't see any sushi rolls on the menu (??). I should have asked, but I just let that go. In retrospect, I really regret not asking. But then again, I wonder why they didn't hand out ALL the menus right off the bat? Who knows...Maybe they had a third menu with a list of sushi rolls?? ANYWAY, I ended up ordering their Bulgogi Bento, which turned out to be quite substantial in portion, and well presented. The thing I didn't like was the bland, undercooked Bulgogi, with excessive fat. I've been getting served a lot of Bulgogi like this lately around town..and it has somewhat turned me off to Bulgogi in general. I personally prefer a much better cooked Bulgogi, with less fat. I enjoyed the Japchae, as well as the fried sides, but frankly, all the foods were all lacking in full Korean flavor. Some of the sides in the bento just seemed off...like these lackluster Avocado Sushi Rolls and a generic Salad (??). I felt that for the 32-dollar pricing, the sides should have been much better. This bento also came with Egg Drop Soup...but again, too bland. Guess I should have poured some soy sauce. As usual, the service was really good though. They even added this complimentary post-meal drink...this might have been the best part of my entire meal? I still think this is a really nice restaurant, with a lot to offer. I just didn't like how it got rid of many of its stellar Japanese menu items. Also, unfortunately, I just didn't like what I ordered. Again, the Bulgogi was too mild and too fatty...and all the foods in the Bento tasted a bit too bland. If I was to return, I would definitely not repeat the Bulgogi Bento. If they really don't have any sushi rolls, guess I'd order something Chinese?

Yet, there is something special about Flying Roll. Anything from it's cozy, quiet atmosphere to the flavor-forward rolls, I'd go so far as to say, there's nothing that would disappoint. We dined on Shumai and Rangoon with our hot green tea. The rolls arrived in very good time following - The Triple X, Lobster Love and Snow Mountain rolls. The Shumai was very tasty, but the Rangoon had with more crab than cream cheese - a first, much to our pleasure. For the rolls, each was enough for one person. The standout was the Lobster Lover, followed very closely by the Triple X. The snow mountain roll was a bit heavy with the tempura flakes ( the Snow? ) but decent overall. Recapping, the service, flavors and vibe all warrant future visits for certain, if for no other reason than to try their other offerings, which are plentiful! Even the drive itself would not be a factor. BON APPÉTIT

The entrance is very neat and it was very nice to be welcomed and seated as soon as we walked in. There were quite a few servers or hostess standing to make sure if there was anyone that needed anything, they would be attended right away. The variety of sushi was splendid, they gave nigiri sushi along with cooked sushi. The wings were yummy as well as their shrimp crab boil. I wish I would've gotten a picture of the crab boil but it was legit with the little crabs and corn - I think the only thing missing was the potatoes. Dessert was fun as they had a chocolate fountain where you could dip marshmallows or other desserts.
