In a nice plaza with plenty of parking. Arrived here at lunch time and had no wait time to be seated Beautiful modern and night club design. Would look great in the evening time for dinner. Music is trendy modern pop R&B , I like it! Customer service is very welcoming and attentive to drinks, food and if you need anything at all. Nigiri, sashimi and sushi rolls were of good quality and nothing like the cheap sushi that tastes frozen. Salmon belly, seared tuna, and Hawaiian roll was my favorite. Ice cream Mochi for dessert was definitely the cherry on top. Will be back if I ever fly back to the ATL.

I received a friendly greeting and was immediately seated for a late afternoon lunch on a warm and sunny Saturday in May. They provide a tablet to place your orders and call for service. They have booths, half booths, bar, and table seating in a clean and modern decor. I started with several appetizers. The squid salad was nicely flavored and on a layer of English cucumber sliced flat like noodles. I also had the teriyaki short ribs and both pieces were seasoned nicely. For my entree I had a rainbow roll and an eel roll. The rice was properly cooked and ingredients were good. I finished with strawberry mochi ice cream. The staff was attentive and provided timely drink refills and the food came out surprisingly quick. The menu variety is good.

We've been to Kumo Sushi twice so far, and we'll definitely be back! Located right on PIB, Kumo Sushi has impressed us with friendly, quick, and attentive service during both visits. The restaurant is spotless with a bright, inviting ambiance that gets you excited for the meal ahead. Kumo Sushi is an AYCE spot, but it's not a buffet setup--everything is made to order. Each table gets its own iPad for ordering, and dishes start arriving fresh from the kitchen shortly after you submit them. The variety is great, with generous portions across appetizers, sushi rolls, nigiri, ramen, udon, hibachi, and more. I especially love that they even offer Kalbi as one of the options! They also have a fun selection of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, so you can find the perfect pairing for your meal. And don't skip dessert--there are a couple of sweet options included with the AYCE menu. Overall, Kumo Sushi delivers great value, solid quality, and an enjoyable dining experience. I hope they will be around with this concept and quality for the long haul! We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Cindy was good. I had the all you can eat for 39.99 which was good bc I was able to get the sushi and appetizers I wanted to try. My fav was the yellow tail appetizer and sexy city roll and rainbow roll. The peppered tuna was good too and atmosphere was good minus the fruit flies everywhere.

Tried Kumo Sushi for dinner and went with the all-you-can-eat option ($35.95). They also have an à la carte menu, but heads up -- if one person at the table chooses all-you-can-eat, everyone has to do it.It's not a traditional buffet setup; instead, they hand you an iPad to order dishes that come out fresh from the kitchen. I actually like that idea since the sushi is made to order and not sitting out. The only downside is that when the place gets busy, the wait time between rounds can get really long, which eats into the 90-minute limit. That said, the sushi is fresh and there's a nice variety of rolls, appetizers, and cooked items. The service is friendly, but they definitely seem stretched thin at peak hours.Overall, it's a good value for the quality if you go during slower times. Go early in the evening or on a weekday to get the best experience.

Finally a GOOD AYCE sushi spot in the Atlanta area!! I really liked the iPad concept of ordering, and everything was sooo good! Orders come in super fast after ordering. And we were surprised at the quality! It was amazing and beautiful! So excited to come here again

Sexy City Roll

Kumo is definitely one of the better AYCE sushi spots, The decor inside is really nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and quick to bring each item out. I love the tablet ordering system, it makes for quicker service. Highlights: The yellowtail jalapeño, Wagyu nigiri, and sexy city roll. I ordered the yellowtail and Wagyu a couple of times during my visit! The sexy city roll was sooo refreshing! Lowlights: The rock shrimp, spider Handroll, and kumo popper (not pictured). The rock shrimp and spider hand roll were nothing special - they actually tasted a little bland and were just nothing to rave about compared to my highlights. The kumo popper was my absolute least favorite - 0/10. I actually sent it back. It was overly greasy and I couldn't stomach it. Of course this is what I get for ordering something fried like this at a sushi spot but I like to try a variety of foods at restaurants. All things considered, the sushi was fresh! I want to come back and try more of the special rolls and sashimi. I'll be returning and sticking to sushi instead of the fried foods!

Nice, clean place with quick service. The food was just what you would expect sushi to be! I wish they had more vegetarian options but it was overall a good experience. Nothing to blow your socks off but also, nothing was bad either.

First time at this place. Lets just say ill be back!! It was very clean and well lit inside. I was greeted as soon as I walked inside and from there the service was great! The menu is a pretty good size. ALOT of different options. I came on my lunch break, so I didn't have much time to explore and try alot of things, but again... ill be back! SERVICE: 9/10 FOOD: 9/10 AESTHETIC: 10/10

Hands down the best AYCE sushi restaurant we've been too. Clean. New. The iPad you use to order your food, has photos of each food item & it shows you your current bill. I mean, talk about transparency. My husband's drink wasn't empty the entire time. Our toddler is picky and we were surprised they had fries. That's a win for us! If/when we wanted more, there wasn't any need for us to grab our server. Simply used the iPad to order our additional meal & it was electronically sent to the kitchen. Definitely a place we would return to! There are 3 tiers you can order from. We were on the "Gold AYCE menu" @ $35.95/pp. They have Silver @ $25.95/pp and Diamond @ 54.95/pp. Everything was made to order. As fresh as it gets.

Hopefully Kumo is here to stay because I think I found my new favorite local sushi place. It's about $35 for gold tier all you can eat and honestly for the price and what you get it's worth it. Everything in the all you can eat is made as you order which in my opinion is a million times better than a buffet where you risk the food sitting out, getting cold, or even dealing with flies (have seen at other buffets). Don't go in expecting like Tomo or Umi but the sushi is solid and you get full size rolls (8 pieces) which is insane. The honeymoon and crazy tuna are some of my favorites and the salmon nigiri is pretty good. You order off tablets and the food comes out pretty fast. Service is great! The staff is super friendly and refills drinks extremely fast and clears empty plates fast as well. It's really nice and clean inside with plenty of seating. I would highly suggest Kumo for anyone who wants some good sushi and doesn't want to break the bank.

A friend had recommended this place to me and my wife. She said that this place was all you can eat sushi and hibachi. I was hesitant at first, because I always feel like there's a catch to these kinds of things. But I was proven wrong! There were 6 of us total (our friend who had recommended it to us and her husband, and two of our other really close friends.) It was about $65 per person. They have different tiers, I believe 3 different tiers, and we did the gold one I think. There is one more tier above gold, and this includes more of your expensive items. But the gold, in my opinion, is PERFECT!!! You order via a little kiosk and they bring out your food to you. Honestly, it was pretty quick. One small thing to note, you can only make orders every 5 minutes, and you have a two hour time limit to eat. But this is not a big deal at all, because you order a lot of things, and 5 minutes have more than passed by, by the time you order again. They have literally everything: soups, sushi, appetizers, nagiri, sashimi, hibachi, even dessert! Our group shared everything, which was perfect, because we could all try everything. I was hesitant of the quality of the food not being good, but honestly, everything was SO GOOD. The sushi was good quality and not cheap at all. They have a large selection of rolls to choose from too, the hardest pick was picking which one! The hibachi was good too, and it was also nice that it was like a smaller portion, not some large portion. It's perfect for when you want to try a bunch of different food. We got A LOT of food, but we all finished practically everything. There are a few things that aren't pictured, like the spring rolls, crab rangoon, and a few other things. But everything was so tasty! And for the price you pay, you can't beat it at all! Our server was really friendly too. She educated us new people on how the AYCE works and answered all our questions about some of the food items. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

The service here was pretty good! The server helped us set up the iPad so we could order. We got an array of items including rolls, appetizers, udon, hibachi and hand rolls. I really enjoyed the salmon hand roll! It was so fresh and was packed with salmon. The udon was pretty good too, I enjoyed the tempura. All the rolls were so good and packed with flavor! There was so many to choose from. I also highly recommend the Tuna and salmon appetizers. The pepper on the tuna was soo good and paired well with the fresh tuna. The only roll I don't really recommend getting was the fried California roll. It tasted a little stale and did not come out hot. The hibachi was also a little on the sweeter side which wasn't my favorite. I would say the rolls did take a bit to come out so we were definitely hungry when waiting but definitely understand the wait since they're still new. Overall, definitely a good price for the choices you get. Would probably want to try the premium set next time for some nigiri. The space was so new and clean as well!

Very fresh sushi! I lived in Las Vegas for years and there are some really good AYCE sushi joints out there. This place reminded me of THAT.

Thanks to fellow Yelpers for this recommendation!…read more Visiting Norcross to check out granite warehouses and Sushi Mito is that area. Arrived around noon on Saturday and it was already very busy. Plenty of options for hot and cold selections. We sat in a cozy comfy booth by the sushi bar where the experienced chefs created lots of items as well as greeting everyone. We opted for the panko shrimp pseudo bento box that included miso soup, salad, 5 tasty shrimp, + seafood salad ! We ordered their version of a caterpillar roll which included 3 types of fresh fish inside and avocado outside. For the California eel roll, we omitted the krab stick for more avocado, eel was on top. Different but tasty version. Plenty of food especially for lunch. Service was friendly, efficient, and prompt especially for the volume of diners. Overall, a very pleasant experience and recommend it!

But, we waited over 45 min to be seated even though the hostess said about 20 min. which was fine. After we were seated our server came and brought us our drinks. She gave us time to look over the menu. The food was very good. Very fresh and tasty. The service was lacking in my opinion. One of my friends ordered the special and had to wait over an hr for her food. Everyone had already finished eating and she still didn't get her food. The server was no where to be found. I feel the server should of been more attentive to our table. I looked around and everyone else seemed to be waited on, on a timely manner but our group of friends. The ambiance was pretty cool. I liked the way the restaurant was set up. But overall I was very disappointed in the service, even though the food was really good. So I'm not sure if I'd go back for a 2nd time.

Like a lot of other omakase places the restaurant was a little hard to find since it's pretty much just a door with a small sign and a couple of windows. The service there was phenomenal and I loved the variety for dishes! We had the 17 course meal for $242/person after taxes and tip, which was a little expensive but seemed fair for Atlanta. We started with some apps and my favorite was the oysters. Then most of the courses were various nigiri and ofc my favorites were the fatty tuna and eel. I also really liked the uni even though I usually don't! The presentation for everything was gorgeous and some of the sushi was pretty unique with the flavor pairings.
