The place is nice clean everything looks fresh it's ok as far as taste I didn't like the fact they charge two dollars extra for shrimp fried rice only to get two pieces of shrimp I guess it's a dollar a shrimp I might go back one day but I'm not running to get it just ok for me

Love Yuzu! It's become my go-to sushi place as they are super efficient and the taste of their items is top notch. The service is great, shoutout to Ana for always being soo nice. Some of my go-to favorites include the Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice (2-pcs) and the Nigiri Sushi with Tuna Roll. This includes both Miso soup and salad so it's a great deal.

I was so excited to try this place being that I just moved next door. My overall issue was the customer service. I felt like I didn't belong. Every interaction I had with a server was very short. I felt like I was a nuisance. At first I thought maybe I was being a little sensitive but after observing customers who clearly frequent there get huge smiles and warm greetings I realized a pattern. I watched my food sit for a while until it was brought out after tables around me got theirs. Maybe it was an off day but definitely not a good impression. The interior is nothing special still quaint little place for sushi. I didn't order much but what I ordered was good. The only thing is the sauce that comes with the gyoza was salty. The M-80 roll I believe was fantastic. I would go back just for that!

My overall visit to Yuzu Sushi was great. The location is easy to find with a parking lot available. The interior was clean and overall a nice ambiance. I ordered a salmon sushi dish, which tasted amazing. You can definitely notice the great quality of the food. I can't wait to try other items on the menu! The service was okay.

Love this roll! I recommend if you enjoy fresh, raw fish. I paired it with Miso Soup and Seaweed.

    A17 - Mixed Sashimi (6 Pcs)

The best Sushi spot in Chamblee! I come here so often that they have my order memorized lol. The owners, management, and waiting staff are extremely friendly and happy to see you every time you visit and it makes me really happy when I talk with them. The food is delicious. I love the mixed sashimi and soft shell crab. The BSC is great and my favorite roll is the Albacore delight (it has a really good tang to it along with fried onions on top). Please come check them out, you will love it!

This place was just okay to me. The seaweed salad wasn't super fresh and when I tried one of friends roll (can't remember what they ordered), it had a fishy taste to it which implies it also wasn't that fresh. The crunch rainbow roll was pretty good, but tasted like cheddar popcorn lol. So if you like that flavor, you'll like the roll. My tuna tempura w/ Yuzu sauce was fine as well but anything exciting making me want to return tomorrow. This place is conveniently located and has free open parking.

Yuzu Sushi was okay. It didn't give me the wowing impression I was seeking. Plus with the high prices, I think this place is overrated. There was a good amount of folks coming and going within a couple of hours of them opening. But I think this place is more of a quick sushi sit down spot with high prices. The interior begs to differ, but that's my experience. Hey, not all reviews/experiences are winners. The positive thing I will say is that some of their menu items were quite unique. The B.S.C. (baked scallop over a California roll) was super delicious! The sashimi salad on the other hand was so so. The B.S.C. was unique in that the baby scallops were warm and creamy. The sauce really made a difference as it sat upon a California roll. I guess the creaminess of the scallops really amped up the basic California. This ended up being a hit with me. Though the sashimi salad was interesting. It somehow was just meh to me. There was about 6 (?) sashimi pieces. The garlic ponzu sauce was light, but it was also over a light bed of salad. I guess I somehow expected something else, something more grandeur. This pick just didn't provide the oohs and ahhs. I kind of had high hopes for the 911 roll. It sort of looked and tasted bland imo. Though the 911 sauce was different, the albacore, tuna, crab, salmon, and avocado were so so. If you think about it, these miniature pieces of fish were plain. I guess it falls in line with the "fresh" category but not so much "Yuzu Sushi Special Rolls." How special was it really?! I think the other roll we tried was the double tuna roll. This roll had a lot of frills, and there were lots of textures and flavors to be had. The red onion slices really stuck out in my mind as I'm trying to recall which roll we had. This roll was overall pretty good. I guess the spicy tuna and seared tuna made it more hearty. I get that sushi has their different types: fresh sashimi, plain jane rolls, and unique creations. But for 3 "special" rolls and a sashimi salad, the grand total with tip was around $70. The hubs and I left feeling kind of hungry and not really impressed (flavor/taste). Though it was still early dinner on a Friday, everyone seemed super rushed (like they will run you over if you don't move over fast enough). Maybe that has an affect on the fish's flavoring? Lol.

The short, thin hostess at the front repeatedly rolled her eyes behind our backs while seating us. I didn't notice it at the time, but our friend pointed it out towards the end of our meal, and it left a very negative impression. Our server was also inattentive. He checked on nearly every table around us multiple times but rarely came by ours. We ordered over $150 worth of food for just the two of us, yet received very little service. Despite that, we still left a 20% tip. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing as well. A lot of the food arrived cold. The quality and taste were nowhere near as good as what we remembered from previous visits. After giving this restaurant multiple chances, we can confidently say we will not be returning.

Like a lot of other omakase places the restaurant was a little hard to find since it's pretty much just a door with a small sign and a couple of windows. The service there was phenomenal and I loved the variety for dishes! We had the 17 course meal for $242/person after taxes and tip, which was a little expensive but seemed fair for Atlanta. We started with some apps and my favorite was the oysters. Then most of the courses were various nigiri and ofc my favorites were the fatty tuna and eel. I also really liked the uni even though I usually don't! The presentation for everything was gorgeous and some of the sushi was pretty unique with the flavor pairings. The 15-course menu was a masterpiece from start to finish. Each piece felt like art -- stunning presentation followed by incredible flavor. Every bite melted in my mouth, and the balance between the rice, the fish, and their special secret sauce was perfection. One of the highlights was the Kimi Oboro, prepared using a 200-year-old vinegar technique -- simply remarkable. My sister loved every dish, even falling in love with the pickled ginger! The service was outstanding as well -- two servers took care of us throughout the evening, always greeting us with genuine smiles and impeccable manners. The restaurant decor is dark and moody, but easily lights up with the natural lighting in certain corners of the restaurant on an afternoon in Brookhaven. This Brookhaven location offers sushi and ever since my first visit, I've been back a number of times. First let me say, the staff is amazing here. A woman who I believe is the owner came up to greet us and continued to check on us and thank us for visiting. So sweet! Our cups never went empty and they were incredibly patient. I have had a number of dishes here since my first visit but have now found my favorites: **Thai dumplings - packed with chicken, shrimp and vegetables and paired with a tangy sauce - these are incredible! **Crab cheese rolls - There's no imitation crab meat here, only flavor. They're packed with a cream cheese and crab combo, I'd love more crab in it but they're better than any I've tasted **Tom Yum soup - I love tom yum soup, the spicier the better! I like the veggie version and it's so much flavor in the broth, my only complaint is that it's not a bigger portion **Basil fried rice - Always a winner **Tsunami & Fireball - My top two spicy rolls! Everything was good, as was the service and ambiance. This is a fun and neat concept - unique to Atlanta - located in the High Street mixed-use development in Dunwoody/Perimeter. Cuddlefish originally opened in the old Brush Sushi space in Decatur in November 2022. Cuddlefish moved and opened in Dunwoody in March 2025. (Brush moved and opened in Buckhead in August 2023.) Cuddlefish is from the same Michelin-starred, award-winning folks behind Brush, Lucky Star, Momonoki, etc. (Jason Liang, ChingYao Wang, John Chen). Cuddlefish is on OpenTable, so you can book reservations there and earn points. Free parking is available in one of High Street's garages. The best place to park is in the garage that's in the same building as Cuddlefish. Enter the garage via Cross St. After parking, there's a convenient walkway that leads out of the garage that's only a couple storefronts away from Cuddlefish. The restaurant has a nice corner spot at High Street. Outside, there's a spacious covered patio. Inside, the temaki bar, dining room, and bakery-cafe all share a modern, open space. The bakery-cafe is small. We had a party of five, including a baby. Here's what my wife and I had: RESTAURANT: Sake Creations * Matcha Saketini sake cocktail ($14) Other Drinks * Yuzu Lychee Mocktail (off-menu, on the house; thank you!) Starters * Sweet Potato Chips ($6) - plum seasoning * Garlic Black Pepper Edamame ($7) * Crispy Tofu ($10) - Sichuan peppercorn, soy garlic, scallion Temaki * Chili Avocado ($7) - chili ponzu, chili paste, negi * Truffle Shiitake ($8) * Shrimp Katsu ($9) - pineapple, cantaloupe * Real Crab California ($9) - chili aioli * Salmon Tataki, cooked ($8) - Asian pear, shallot ponzu, negi * Yellowtail & Salsa ($8) - jalapeno cilantro, fried leeks * Salmon Tataki, regular ($8) - Asian pear, shallot ponzu, negi, ikura * Toro Uni Ikura ($25) * Salmon Ikura ($9) * Hokkaido Uni ($25) BAKERY-CAFE: * Matcha Tiramisu Latte ($7) - iced, oat milk * Matcha Strawberry Croissant Cup ($7) * Matcha Chocolate Cookie ($5) My wife and I each had five temaki plus apps. That was enough to fill us up for a meal. I probably could've had one or two more temaki. In general, every item was well-made and delicious. All of the temaki were great and all of the ingredients were fresh. The presentation was beautiful. My favorite temaki were the Toro Uni Ikura, Salmon Ikura, and Hokkaido Uni. My wife is pregnant, so they accommodated her with a free mocktail, cooking the salmon and excluding the ikura on her Salmon Tataki temaki. We appreciated that. Our table gobbled everything up. The Matcha Saketini was thick and heavy on the matcha. We did find it cumbersome to remove two strips of plastic for each temaki, but we understand why they do it (to keep the seaweed crisp). Sometimes, some of the ingredients would slide off with the plastic wrap, which was not ideal. I heard that if you sit at the bar, you don't have to deal with the plastic wrap (e.g., if you do a temaki tasting). The treats from the bakery-cafe were yummy. Service was excellent. All of the staff was polite and friendly. Thank you, Sian, Etta, and the Asian guy with glasses whose name I did not get. The name "Cuddlefish" is a play on cuttlefish, which is similar to a squid. Growing up, I ate dried cuttlefish from Thailand as a snack.
