    Tonkotsu Black Ramen
    Tia R.

I had the pleasure of dining here last night. I took a trip to H mart and knew I would find a place to eat nearby. I ordered their oolong green tea bottle, black tonkotsu ramen, omurice, pan fried dumplings, and chicken skewers (Spicy, and original sauce). I would go back for the omurice (mix the BBQ sauce option and spicy chili paste together) and the chicken onion skewers in the original sauce. I also enjoyed the oolong tea, this is unsweetened so if you would like sugar they make a house iced green tea. They ran out of the house green tea by the time I dined there. The food will come out fresh when each dish is ready. I prefer this over my dish waiting at a window for the rest of my table's dishes to be done. But be careful because everything is piping hot. The service was great, there were waiters helping each other to check on tables and bring food. The ambience is not for a quiet date night. This is for long time friends/couples and families or single diners. Parking is easy and there is a karaoke bar and billiards hall for those who want to continue the night. I'll be back to try cold dipping noodles in the summer and maybe a dessert.

I love being a regular at this place. Staff is friendly, the food is amazing and the inside will make you feel like you're in Japan.

First impression visit. Free parking lot. Pros Fast and friendly service! The sushi was excellent and the ramen was nice and flavorful! I appreciate the meat being grilled and seasoned instead of just thrown in the ramen without any attention to it. Noodles are fresh. Great sake and the rice bowl was good as well! Cons None that I could find! Would I Recommend: Yes! Definitely! Follow me here on Google Maps, Yelp, and @jessreviewss on Instagram for more.

Skip the overrated Shoya and give this place a try if you are craving ramen. They got the best ramen in Atlanta, at least their black garlic tonkatsu is the best. The noodles were al dente to my liking. The broth was so flavorful it was hard to beat. The egg was cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. The chashu was the only item that needed improvement. If they torch it a bit before serving it would give it that char flavor. Their udon is alright.

We came here for lunch on a Monday and it was awesome! Service was fast and friendly, and the food was really great. Everything was presented thoughtfully and the menu was varied. We started with the house salad with sesame dressing which was very good. The Takoyaki, fried octopus was tasty, hot, and delicious-- a steal for 8 bucks too. The Gyokai Shio was a creamy chicken soup with lots of seafood and noodles-- very delicious. It's nestled in a large strip mall with a lot Japanese and Korean restaurants as well as a huge H-Mart.

Update!! Avoid this place!!! This placed changed management. Menu is different and food is different. Mr. K is no longer here. I guess my old review from when they opened six years ago got featured so people messaged me. I came to check it out since it's been a while. Here's the update: I got the same Nagasaki Champon and Yasai Itame from the past. Completely different taste and flavor. Terrible execution and taste. The veggies are cut too thick and wrong. Too heavy with the soy in the yasai itame. More Chinese or Korean mall restaurant taste. The Nagasaki champon is garbage. Seafood is cheap quality. Shrimp is rubbery. Noodles way overcooked. Veggies again cut wrong. Soup lacks flavor. Tried the "robata yaki" was inedible and I ate one of the three pieces of meat that comes on the skewer and left the rest. It was some of the worse I've eaten in my life. I got it with the spicy sauce which wasn't spicy. The chicken and onion came with no onions. The chicken was white meat cut way too bit and way over cooked so dry. It wasn't seasoned at all because I guess they thought the sauce was enough but nope it was bland brick of pathetic sadness. I hate to waste food but this was so bad and tough to eat it I couldn't do it. Did not even take it home to try fix. Takoyaki was still pretty good. Crispy and not over done with the sauce and flakes. Good job on not f'ing this up. Service was so slow and disorganized. They were trying but you can tell no leadership here. Hard working but no direction so turn around was slow.

The food was fantastic! Flavorful. My ramen was so delicious. The pork...wow. Cooked and seasoned beautifully. Also they don't play about spice so go slow on the levels of spice you prefer! The service was great. They were very attentive and very quick with bringing the food out. Fresh and fast.

I left Yebisuya not very satisfied. It might have been a preference thing but the veggies in my bowl were pretty hard and did not taste good so I pretty much only ate noodles. It was not a satisfying meal. I've been to much better places.

The ramen is out lf this world. The broth is creamy and seasoned just right, not as salty as other ramen places I have tried. I would choose this over Jinya any day. snacks are also amazing. Price is great too.

I thought it was pretty cool that they lit my ramen on fire. The level of spice at a 3 was not spicy but still tasty. The shumai appetizer was so tiny and not worth ordering in my opinion. Food was not too bad. I only went here because my normal place was closed in this area. Food came out quick. Definitely a good spot to get some quick lunch.

Went to this place in Doraville, GA called Yebisuya where I had Omurice for the first time along with a Yebisuya Bun that I also got and tried for the first time. Omurice: although this wasn't the Omurice I was expecting this was definitely still a very delicious version. Underneath is a bed of fried rice that was just so good with an omelet layered on top of it. They give you 3 sauce choices Spicy Kewpie Mayo, Ketchup, and Tonkatsu sauce. I chose the spicy mayo which by the way wasn't spicy at all I could have ate a ton of that stuff with no problem and those that know me know I don't handle spice well lol. Yebisuya Bun: is basically a steamed bun with chicory, scallion, and I got it with Tonkatsu pork in it and yall when I tell yall I could have ate 10 of these bad boys. The bun was so soft and the filling was sooooo flavorful like you just have to try it. Go check these guys out the next time you're in Georgia or if you live in Georgia. 8.9/10 6035 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd, Doraville, GA 30360

I ate here this past Friday evening with my sorority sisters. There were 8 of us in total and we reserved the private room in the back. All of the servers were super nice and accommodating with each of our orders and kept coming back to make sure we were full. I usually had gone to their next door neighbor but that place doesn't take reservations for larger groups. I ordered the chili shumai, spam musubi, omurice with spicy mayo, and the fried tempura matcha ice cream. Every dish was tasty and decent but nothing life changing. I wish the omurice had the traditional "reveal" but I liked that the fried rice itself wasn't too greasy. The shumai was good but kind of squishy textured. The matcha ice cream was amazing but I should have taken a second consideration on the fried tempura as I got quite full near the end. I guess overall the spam musubi was the best!

absolutely love this place! even when there is a lot of people, their service is always speedy and extremely welcoming. I take my parents and friends here all the time and always get a different dish each time. my friends and I love the chicken don, chicken katsu curry, and literally any sushi that has eel from here! the lunch specials are also a great price, and they have so many different combinations, which is different from most places that offer lunch combos. definitely recommend this as one of the best restaurants in this plaza.

    Cold Soba Noodles
I am a fan of cold soba noodles.
They were cheap and yummy so if you have never tried it, it is a good option.

The decor and atmosphere really make you feel like you've been transported to a lively izakaya in Japan--it's the perfect spot for sharing a wide variety of small plates. The Tapas & Kitchen: * Ankimo (Monkfish Liver): This was a standout. It was prepared perfectly--rich, velvety, and a great start to the meal. * Grilled Highlights: The kitchen really excels with the grill. The chicken skin is crispy and decadent, and the chicken liver is another major hit--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. * Seafood Favorites: My wife absolutely loved the steamed clams, and the grilled oysters were a hit as well. The octopus salad was also very fresh and well-balanced. The Sushi Bar: * Fish Selection: The quality and variety here are impressive. We ordered a mix of rolls and nigiri, including scallop, sweet shrimp, and tuna maki. * Quality: Every piece of fish was notably fresh. The only minor critique was the sushi rice--it was a bit dry for my personal taste, but the quality of the seafood more than made up for it. * Snail (Tsubugai): It's great to see more unique options like snail on the menu; it's a nice touch for those who appreciate traditional Japanese variety. The Experience: The menu is huge and well-rounded, offering something for everyone. Despite being our first time, the service was efficient and the pricing felt very fair for the quality and portion sizes provided.

It was busy inside, but our party of 10 was promptly seated, though we were a little squished into a circular table. I didn't remember this last time, but instead of telling a server what you want, you mark it down on a paper menu and hand it to the server. This time I got the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodles and the Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp Garlic Noodle. I was really excited to try both since they both sounded so good. Ultimately the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodle was a little underwhelming - the noodles themselves weren't very flavorful, and the BBQ pork was on the drier side. The pork did have decent flavor, and all the toppings/side items (wontons, fried egg, bok choy) were great, but all in all fell a little short of my hopes. The Salted Egg Yolk Garlic Noodles had better flavor, but I could've used even more garlic and butter. The shrimp definitely carried the salted egg yolk flavor, but the fried batter was a bit soggy/soft in my opinion. I wished it was crisper. Service was a tad slow, but perhaps they're understaffed and/or it was busy that night. I do love the menu concept of positioning it like a magazine catalog - it makes for a fun experience instead of just words on paper

If you are close to Buford Hwy you should try this place. They have parking for a few cars right in front, a smallish restaurant inside with a full sushi bar. Their menu is pretty comprehensive and includes fried rice, noodles, sushi rolls, sashimi, soups etc. As we were a large group we ordered a bunch of things. Most of the entrees are served with a salad and soup making it quite the meal. We ordered the sashimi appetizer, the pork gyoza, shrimp shumai, omelette, combination fried rice, B-52 roll, sunrise roll, crunchy roll I think. Sashimi was fresh - yellowtail, tuna, salmon. The gyoza was delicious and table favorite Honestly, I even enjoyed the pork belly omelette. So flavorful... The fried rice was cooked well but was missing some seasoning/salt. Otherwise good. The rolls were great and we selected ones that had some spice. My favorite was the sunrise roll - a little crunchy inside yet with a slight kick. The staff felt a little overwhelmed with our group but they were polite and helpful. Food was prices reasonably and worth it (for the portion sizes).
