From 5-7 you can stop in Brush and try different specials. The Duck ramen is a must try!

Stumbled upon Brush sushi on accident. I ordered dry aged Otoro nigiri, Bara Chirashi box, Stir fried Mentaiko noodles, and Truffle Duck Shoyu ramen. The highlight of the meal is definitely their dry aged Otoro (14 days), where the pieces are a little firmer than your regular Otoro pieces, but still have the fattiness that melt in your mouth. Bara Chirashi box has fun little cubes of different types of fish and vegetables that taste fresh, in terms of the taste and the freshness of the ingredients. Stir fried Mentaiko noodles tastes quite underwhelming like your normal stir fried noodle, but to me, the scallops save the dish because they go well with thr creaminess of Mentaiko sauce. The most dissappointing dish is the Truffle Duck Shoyu ramen, because while the combination of the ingredients go well together, the broth is too salty for my taste. I expected the broth to be a little bit lighter and more delicate, and not a punch-in-the-face soy sauce broth. Will be a pass from me next visit. Lunch time is probably one of the best time to visit because it's not too crowded, but still is a good enough spot for a group hangout. Our waistress is helpful and knowledgeable in her recommendation for dry aged nigiris, which has became my must-have when I'm here.

I've had some good sushi in Atlanta, but this may have been my favorite place yet. I came in at 10:15 just looking for a quick meal. I sat at the bar and Stephanie was my bartender. She made great recommendations, 2 of which I ordered. She also informed me about their omakase and filled me in on some cooking techniques they used. I was very pleased. The sashimi was fresh and the soy sauce is made in house. I loved everything down to the bowls and plates that were imported from Japan. It was clean and they had a nice playlist going. Brush is located on the corner of Buckhead Village so parking is available in parking deck or limited street. The ambiance is definitely luxury and I greatly enjoyed my time seated at the bar. It was fairly empty when I dined which I feel also allowed more interaction/personable moments that added to the meal. The meal was superb and as always, I will break it down below: 1. Duckfat Scallion Pancakes 10/10: so crispy, thin, and a nice saltiness from the duck fat that is rich but not overpowering 2. Tuna Tasting 10/10: I didn't actually eat this, my guest did, but the fish looked amazing. I loved how the server was able to explain each fish, origin, and expected experience. 3. Waygu Fried Rice + Ikura: 9/10: great cook on the rice, not a huge amount of Waygu pieces, but I loved that salty pop of the Ikura with the rice. It was a pleasant addition that made the rice even better 4. Yellowtail Jalapeño 9/10: THAT SAUCE! Omg...I could lather that on everything. No notes. Super fresh, sauce was a super nice blend of vinegar and chili notes. 5. 12pc Nigiri Tasting 10/10: I definitely had a couple favorites, but again, the servers knowledge of each piece, where the fish origins from, and explanation of the chef's choices made it even more enjoyable! Now on to drinks: 1. Mr. Miyagi 7/10: the lower rating is not because of the quality or the drink itself, just not my preference. It leaned a bit more savory with the wasabi notes which confused my palette but I could absolutely see why this is a best seller because of how unique and refreshing this cocktail is despite the unconventional flavors, 2. Strawberry Velvet 9/10: that vanilla cognac foam was a true surprise! The actual cocktail lends a bit sweeter, but that darker & deeper notes of the foam almost cut that more concentrated strawberry note. I also loved the amount of bubble in the foam. 3 Li-Ly Martni 10/10: I mean...absolutely divine. No notes. For dessert, I can't recall the name but it was just okay, 3/10. Definitely not my favorite. The "stewed apples" were very light, more citrusy than the spice I was expecting. It in general didn't have much flavor at all. Also, fun add...whoever is in charge of choosing the glassware, silverware, and dishwater is doing amazing. These were some of the most unique, elegant, and gorgeous pieces across the full meal. Brush, I can't wait to visit again & hopefully snag an Omakase experience.

Lunch Pre-Fix Course 2/3: Bara Chirashi Box
    Olivia H.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and were seated right away. We both chose the lunch pre-fix menu, which includes three courses: an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $45 per person. We started with the Yellowtail Jalapeño Sashimi appetizer which was good, but didn't quite stand out. For the main course we had the Bara Chirashi Box. While the small cubes of fish were a bit tricky to pick up, the flavors blended beautifully. The combination of fresh fish, sweet tamago, salty roe, and umami-rich bits of shiitake mushroom created a wonderful balance. It was delicious. We finished up with the Seasonal Croissant Cube for dessert which was perfectly flaky on the outside with a soft, airy interior and a creamy filling topped with a glossy chocolate dip and crispy chocolate rice pearls. It was absolutely delightful. All in all, from the food to the friendly service and inviting ambiance, everything made our lunch a real treat. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Brush Sushi is an elevated restaurant perfect for date night or girls night. The restaurant has a coat check and provided us with storage for purses which was a nice touch. It's called Brush Sushi because they actually give you little brushes to paint soy sauce onto your sushi. As someone easing into sushi, I went during happy hour for their $6 hand rolls. I tried the salmon, spicy tuna, and wagyu. My favorite was definitely the spicy tuna -- super flavorful. The wagyu wasn't worth it to me since there was barely any meat inside and I could hardly taste it. The yellowtail with jalapeño (not part of the happy hour menu) was soft, buttery, and perfectly paired with its sauce. Everyone working there was friendly and welcoming. I would come back, definitely worth it during happy hour!

I returned to Brush Sushi with some friends for dinner. It's located at the corner of the Buckhead Shops and the across from Shake Shack. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and we ordered the Mr. Miyagi cocktail. The server offers a warm towel to clean your hands in the wintertime too. Out cocktail was perfectly spicy and went well with Negitori Ikura box. The restaurant is small and intimate, with a tasting room and a private party room too. We will return again next month.

Stopped in for lunch at Brush Sushi and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. Madai (2 pieces) - 10/10 I'm a big fan of white fish, and this was exceptional. Beautifully cut, clean flavor, and perfect texture. I'm already planning to come back just to explore more of the Daily Fish menu. Spicy Tuna Tartare - 9/10 Delicious and thoughtfully composed. The root chips were a smart textural choice, and the light horseradish dressing added a fresh, bright contrast without overpowering the fish. Spicy Miso Chicken Ramen - 8/10 Very flavorful with noodles cooked to that ideal chewy/al dente bite. I personally prefer a bit more heat, but the spice level will appeal to most people. The chicken breast was cooked surprisingly well--tender and not dry at all. Soft Serve Tried the matcha swirl with hokkamilk soft serve. Simple, refreshing, and a great finish to the meal. Overall, Brush Sushi's pre-fix lunch menu has me excited to return for dinner. I want to dive deeper into the Daily Fish selections and try some of their sushi rolls next time. A strong Buckhead spot worth revisiting. Solid service as well.

So what do you do when Atlanta gets multiple snow days and snow weekends. I landed up at brush sushi as they were open on a icy cold winter evening. We were pleasantly surprised that they had a happy hour and we tried a bunch of their hand rolls and their ramen. Everything was amazing and The vibes are fantastic. Our favorite hand rolls were you, spicy tuna, tuna with avocado. The chicken ramen is also excellent and I'm definitely coming back to try the duck one next time. Don't miss out on the cocktails they are very well balanced speakeasy style and stiff in the liquor content. One star less just because I thought the hand rolls had a higher rice to fish ratio which meant there wasn't just enough fish. Would be interesting to see if their regular menu is better balanced.

I visited Brush Sushi with two friends on a Monday night. Upon entering, the restaurant was relatively quiet, and we essentially had the place to ourselves, with just a couple of other parties scattered throughout. We were greeted by our waiter, who took our beverage orders and thoroughly went over the food menu with us. One friend ordered the Manotsuru Bulzai Ginjo sake, while the other and I opted for sparkling water. She mentioned that the sake was really good and light. We decided to share a few dishes, starting with the yellowtail jalapeño maki and the 12-piece chef's choice nigiri sushi. The maki arrived first, and we really enjoyed it. It wasn't spicy at all but had great flavor. The chef's choice nigiri sushi came out next, and we found it to be just okay. Our favorite was the dry-aged nigiri; however, we only received two pieces of that variety. Next, our Hay-Smoked Miso Duck Breast with Wagyu Fried Rice and Ikura was served. The miso duck was the highlight of our meal--delicious and melt-in-your-mouth tender, with perfectly balanced flavors. The Wagyu fried rice was good, but it could have been improved with a sauce accompanied with it. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience, and I look forward to returning in the future.

what an absolutely amazing experience! Let's start with the hostess Elizabeth, who was warm and welcoming you and most accommodating. The beautiful bartender who offered me water while I waited for my friends and then has server Jack who was informative and accommodating. The atmosphere was quiet modern and Moody. The service was excellent. Sushi was mouth watering. Something that we haven't had in quite some time. I'm looking forward to coming back. I shared a yummy Matcha brownie with my table made, which was actually delicious. A treat!

I am SO happy I gave Brush Sushi another chance -- what a complete 180! This experience was a home run across the board... Highlights: * Service: Everything was prompt and seamless. Our waitress was super attentive, and the manager even stopped by to check in and make sure this visit was better than the last -- a thoughtful touch that didn't go unnoticed * Ambiance: The restaurant is filled with natural light, creating a bright and beautiful atmosphere. * Yellowtail Jalapeño Starter: Hands down the best yellowtail I've ever had. The presentation was stunning, the fish quality was next level, and the umami-rich chili ponzu sauce deserves to be bottled and sold. * Happy Hour: It's hard to beat $6 hand rolls. Our favorites were the Wagyu, spicy tuna with avocado, shrimp tempura, and the duck -- all excellent. Thrilled I gave this place another shot. Can't wait to come back!

Was feeling hungry and decided to finally try Brush in their new location. The décor is beautifully done and very inviting. Sat at the bar and ordered a few hand rolls (Yellowtail Scallion + Cucumber and Avocado, Spicy Tuna + Cucumber and Avocado, Aburi American Wagyu) to eat. Everything was fresh and delicious! For drinks I started with the Yuzu Shuwah sparkling sake and then moved on to the Mr. Miyagi. Both were good, but the Mr. Miyagi was a very tasty combination of Sesame Vodka, ginger, wasabi, and lime. Tiffany also provided stellar service so all in all, it was a great experience and I will be back to try some other menu items.
