Friends, vegetarians, countrymen I am happy to report that the pre-fixe lunch menu at Nobu is vegetarian friendly! I wasn't 100% sure from the research I did online, but once I arrived they let me know they can basically make any of their dishes vegetarian friendly. These days I'm both gluten free and vegetarian and I had no issues at nobu. The ambience was cute! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 solely because I think our waiter forgot about us a little bit and also told my colleague she couldn't switch out her chocolate mochi for a different flavor (she hates chocolate). I ordered a drink at the start of lunch that didn't arrive till near the end, when our waiter checked on us the first time. Beautiful, modern spot for a refined and delicious dining experience. I took a coworker here to celebrate a big career milestone, and it was the perfect choice. Every dish is thoughtfully presented, and the service feels sophisticated . The crispy rice with tuna was a standout starter. The rice had the perfect balance of crispy and chewy and held the tuna beautifully. We also tried the mini tacos with lobster, fried fish, and salmon- each one packed with flavor. For entrées, we shared the black cod and tempura lobster, both delicate, well-executed, and full of flavor. We ended with the bento dessert box. The lava cake was rich and indulgent with a deep chocolate flavor. The matcha gelato leaned a bit earthy on its own, but paired with the chocolate, it balanced nicely. I was sooo excited and really looking forward to it... just to say I left sooo disappointed. We got there around 12:30 and it was pretty packed. The place itself is beautiful and the service was actually great, no complaints there. But the food? It was just... blah. For $85 per person, I was expecting way more variety and better quality. The selection felt limited, and nothing on the hot food side really hit. The smoked brisket was sooo dry and tough. I kept waiting for something to wow me, and it just never happened. And don't even get me started on the sushi. I was MAD. It honestly tasted like grocery store sushi not what you expect when you hear "Nobu brunch." During my stay at the Nobu hotel, I dined for both dinner and breakfast. For dinner, I sat at the bar and breakfast I sat at a high top. Ambiance: I was actually surprised at the overall vibe of the restaurant. I liked the minimalist, clean looking decor but was a little surprised at the loud music they had blasting over the speakers during dinner. Not mad at it, just surprised. Patrons ranged from casual to dressy which I thought was very welcoming! I believe breakfast had music playing also, lol. Service: Service was amazing and scarily fast. Wait times were extremely short for food and drinks, which was a plus. Jennifer, my bartender, was amazing. She made great cocktails and was very kind while working the bar. The guy who sat next to me also had a few drinks and said each and every one was a hit. I removed one star for this area, because at the end of service there was some sort of dispute between a few of the bartenders that was noticeable and heated and honestly loud enough for me to overhear. It made things feel awkward and shouldn't have been a disagreement done in front of patrons with the guy antagonizing the woman. My waiter at dinner was also very nice and he made great recommendations for me when I was being indecisive. Drinks: At dinner, I had a lychee & elderflower martini which was delicious and refreshing . Would highly recommend. For breakfast, I had the Black Orchid tea. I am not an avid tea drinker, but this to me was just okay. Nothing to write home about. Dinner: I had the yellowtail jalapeños which is a Nobu staple and the black cod with miso. Both were amazing. The fish was fresh, the flavors were vibrant. The star for me was definitely the cod, it quite literally melted in your mouth. We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails. We ordered the yellowtail jalapeño, New-style sashimi-Wagyu, Black Cod with Miso, Miso Soup with Tofu, and Wagyu and lobster tacos. All the appetizers were tasty, but the Black Cod with Miso was the highlight. Full disclosure: we were quite disappointed with the tacos. The pictures are very misleading, so if you're considering getting them, I strongly advise against it -- don't waste your time or money! We also ordered sushi. We tried the House special, baked snow crab, and the blue oh toro. All the sushi rolls were delicious. To finish the evening, we had Japanese French toast and a Cappuccino. I finally tried the all you can eat Sunday brunch. We booked for 11 am and they opened the doors a little after 11 and we went straight to eat. They have a decent variety of sushi's, seafood, non-seafood Japanese dishes, prime rib and pastries and desserts. My personal favorites were the spicy tuna crispy rice, the miso black cod, the sukiyaki beef, and the waffles with the berry compote. Most of the food was really tasty but I didn't love the Japanese curry or the prime rib. The curry is a bit watery and lacked flavor and the prime rib was way overcooked. I also ordered the champagne 95 brunch drink which was strong and reminded me of a peach Bellini but way stronger and alcohol forward. After the drink and brunch my total was over $100 and after tip I spent about $130. That's a bit steep for brunch but to be able to try some of Nobus famous dishes it's not a bad deal. read more

Came here during a trip to Buckbead. Was staying at the Nobu hotel, so it was very convenient to eat here. This review is for dinner and breakfast. For dinner, I had the Atlanta omakase, which is 7 courses. Within one course, there are 3 crudos, and within the next, there are 4 nigiri pieces, just FYI, so it ends up being quite a bit of food. I enjoyed all these very much. The lobster tempura was also excellent, however, the fish dish was extremely salty and hard to eat. It did not flake, and I felt like I would have needed to either bite off chunks of the fish or use a knife, which was not provided. The dry aged wagyu was very good. The dessert was unique; I liked this a lot. It was a stuffed donut hole with apple cobbler and ice cream. Service was friendly. Only service gripe was that I had to wait several minutes at the hostess stand before getting seated. For breakfast, I had the smoked salmon benedict and 2 kinds of green tea. I liked the salmon component, but the bread part was just ok (a piece of toast) and there was just one egg (normally for bennys, there are two, in my experience). Came here to celebrate our anniversary. I noted that when I made the reservation and they gave us such an intimate corner booth and mentioned happy anniversary multiple times and even put it on our dessert. That made us feel very special! First of all the hotel room is comfortable and it is nice and quiet, there are a lot of small touches that made this special. The restaurant is great for dinner that is already well known, I like my miso cod, crispy rice spicy tuna, and tacos. The dessert Okinawa donuts are great. But not everyone knows about their breakfast, since we stayed at the hotel we tried there breakfast, it is served at the same Restaurant location. They have a great White omelette with miso, and French toast. The service is excellent and staff were all on point. I made lunch reservations easily through OpenTable, and parking was a breeze with free garage access directly connected to the hotel. I was seated promptly upon arrival. I had the pleasure of being served by Ladarius P., a kind gentleman with stellar service--and easy on the eyes, might I add! I noticed Nobu offered a lunch prix fixe menu online, so I had to come see for myself. The price point was great for sampling some of their menu favorites. I had zero complaints about the appetizer and entrée; both were excellent. However, I would suggest adding a few stronger dessert options. Came for brunch on a Sunday! I've never been to a Nobu before so I can't compare it to others, but this Nobu is more laxed than what I expected. Parked for free in the Lifetime Fitness garage and took the elevator to the second floor where Nobu was. We were seated promptly in the booth/seat combo where seating was a bit too close for my liking. I could brush shoulders with the person next to us. We did the AYCE brunch which I thought was nice! It was a good way to sample different Nobu items. The sushi selection was great for it to be a buffet and they did a great job at keeping up with putting more down as the crowds gathered. I came to nobu for their brunch. All you can eat. It was a birthday treat to myself. I made a reservation online and I had to change the time and it was fine with them. I had to call, and they answer the phone, so it's really good customer service. When I arrived, because I changed a couple of times there was some confusion, but they immediately were able to sort it out and seat me on the patio, which is what I preferred because it was a nice day. The thing about sitting on the patio is you do have to come in and out of a heavy door so if you're carrying too many plates, it might be a little difficult to get through the door. the food is spectacular. They keep everything fresh on the line, and My favorite was the miso black seabass and the salad and the sushi. Everything is great. ! I would recommend coming no later than 2 o'clock. As the buffet ends at 3, they definitely don't kick you out. But they start to basically cleanup by about 3:30. So if you really want to have a full enjoyment without feeling rushed because they are closing, I would suggest coming around 1pm, no later than 2. read more

We stayed at Nobu to be close to the start line of the Peachtree Road Race, and from check-in to check-out, the hotel delivered an incredible experience. We were warmly welcomed at check-in with a delicious tea and a refreshing warm towel. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was a perfect blend of modern luxury and Japanese minimalism--clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, with soft linens. I especially loved the rainfall shower head in the generously sized bathroom. There were also thoughtful touches that stood out: individual reading lights and outlets on both sides of the bed, and a Nespresso machine (though I didn't use it). We stayed on the 4th floor and never heard a sound from the elevator or neighboring rooms. We visited the rooftop to check things out--the pool is on the smaller side but it's beautiful, very clean and well maintained. There's also a rooftop bar, and from what we saw, you can order small bites to eat. We enjoyed complimentary champagne while watching the fireworks. The view was great! We had hoped to eat dinner at the hotel, but when we went down at 5:30, we were told dinner isn't served until 6:30 PM. So instead, we walked about 3 minutes (through the mall) and ate at Davio's--also highly recommended! Tip: If you'd rather not pay $45 a day for valet, take advantage of the self-parking. It's free, and the hotel-designated parking spots are located right next to the elevator--just steps from the door. The elevator brings you straight into the lobby. I was also able to try the waygu sliders poolside which need to be added to the restaurant menu. For lunch I had the 3 course prefix with the spicy tuna on crispy rice, American wagyu filet and banana mochi. Everything was delicious. TLDR: Sunday brunch is overrated. May another time for a different service. Came with a party of six to check out the Sunday brunch. It was quite busy but we were seated quickly since we had a reservation. The servers were quick to take it drink orders and we got right to the buffet tables. There was one serving Japanese items and another further inside serving more Western foods. There was also a central dessert table and another stand in the corner with gelato and other desserts. For the Japanese items, there was no sashimi and only a few nigiri and rolls; there were also a couple of salads and cocktail shrimp. All were okay but nothing special. Most of the sushi items have some sort of sauce on it, which I didn't care for. The Western side had a carving station as well as a handful of entrees and sides. The wagyu burger was dry; the takoyaki was nothing special; the curry was decent. The carving station had tender, well cooked meat. My favorite dish was the cod in the lettuce wrap. There was a large selection of desserts but I don't typically get much. Most of what I tried was too sweet for my taste. The gelato was good though. We separately ordered a few cocktails and they were well crafted. The service throughout was attentive and the stations rarely ran out of food. Even then, it was replaced relatively quickly. All in all I would skip the Sunday brunch since it didn't offer the variety or quality for the value. Yes it's $75 per person but you get to taste some of the iconic Nobu menu items like the black miso cod, wagyu sliders, and their incredible sushi. $75 seems steep but everything I ate was fantastic. There's not too many options because it's brunch but what they put out is high quality and they are churning out these plates. Some stations were empty and then almost immediately refilled. Everything is made fresh and you can see them making all the food in the kitchen. Sometimes the stations get a little crowded but nothing to where you're waiting in super long lines. The restaurant is full of tables and guests but not overcrowded to where you feel that you're squished next to your neighbors. The ambiance is very cool and trendy with a DJ for brunch. Parking is free if you park in the deck. And there is a valet. You park in the same deck like you're going to Lifetime. The service was incredible with staff coming and taking empty plates away, constantly refilling water and drinks, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Overall, it's definitely worth checking out at least once. Reservations open 30 days in advance (I think) so grab it o fast because they weren't available for long. read more

I've been wanting to try Nobu for over a year since they opened here in Atlanta, Phipps Plaza, but could never bite the bullet looking at their prices. I would take guests here or have a business meal. The variety was not A TON but it was plenty as every item we tried was fantastic quality. They had two salad options, 3 different nigiri options (tuna, salmon, white fish.. I think the white fish is yellow tail bc it's so tender), spicy yellow tail roll (OUR FAVE and must try), spicy tuna roll, and a couple of other rolls. Everything was SO fresh. The hot bar included items like breakfast sliders, chicken sandwiches, banana French toast, waffles shaped like fish, and even a carving station with prime rib. They also had a seafood station with shrimp cocktail, mini poke bowls, and their world famous Miso Cod! It was served as a little lettuce wrap bite. Went for the $75 brunch. I didn't realize Drake sang about his favorite restaurant Nobu but I digress. There were basically two lines, a sushi line and a hot foods line. Then the line for the lines were long. 1:30pm was a popular time. You'll find some salad, basic rolls, salmon, tuna, and white fish nirigiri at the sushi line. Some of the avocado in the rolls were starting to brown. The sushi rice had some extra added salt or something that made it brown. It was tasty but made me a little thirsty. What I was missing from this sushi buffet that I've had at others buffets was unagi. The cod lettuce wrap and prime rib stood out to me but everything else at the hot foods bar was just average. The wagyu sliders were a little dry. The shrimp and grits had tiny shrimp and lots of grits. The dessert station that stood out to me were the banana cream and the peaches and cream. Just as swanky and delicious as we expected! We were attending the Taylor Swift Candlelight Concert at the Hotel (the Magnolia Quartet is great!) and enjoyed a terrific meal beforehand. Our server Mario was helpful and attentive, and had our dishes well spaced for us to enjoy. A fave dish was the spicy tuna and fried rice appetizer; fun and crunchy fried rice to dip in soy sauce and top with spoonfuls of tuna. Definitely get a refill on the rice bites! My husband really enjoyed the cod with its tasty miso glaze. My go to is a tuna avocado roll and I am now spoiled by the quality of the tuna at Nobu compared to my regular Fresh Market. Sunday all you can eat buffet review. THE GOOD: - It's unlimited. If you want unlimited tuna sushi, then keep grabbing it. If you want short ribs, keep grabbing it. Etc. Etc. Etc. - Yummy. Food tasted good. No concerns at all about the quality. - They sat us quickly. THE NOT SO GOOD: - For the name Nobu and the cost ($80) I expected an elevated experience. Sadly there was nothing fancy about it. Our table was unset with silverware. After 1st round of food we finally got the waiter to get us some. Tables are plain. Service is ok. Plates stack up on the tables 2-3-4 high before ever cleared. Waiters simply refill drinks and not very often. I expected Nobu hospitality and "fanciness" and none of that occurred. Nothing was bad but not at the expectation of a Nobu experience. - Nearly every good option was empty throughout the experience. I would not be exaggerating when I say that more food was empty vs filled at any given moment. When you are closer to the end (3:30pm) they just don't refill it. - Sushi rolls are tiny. If a normal roll was the diameter of a quarter/silver dollar, then these were the size of a dime/penny. Easily half the size of a normal roll. - Valet is $20 plus tip plus service fee (cc). - DJ music is LOUD. If you expect to have a decent conversation with your table, good luck.
