Philadelphia Roll Bubble Gum Roll

The food was excellent. Freshest sushi I've ever had. It was very quaint and quiet but I'm assuming that was just after Thanksgiving. Our service was excellent and we even got a sample of an appetizer. I got the Bubblegum Roll and the Philadelphia Roll

We were craving sushi and decided to stop at this place for a quick roll. I was very surprised but this place. The Hawaiian Sunset Roll was DELICIOUS! The flavors did not lack at all, the jalapeño, the spicy mayo paired with FRESH fish. I am convinced the Sashimi at this place would be so good. We got to try a Spicy Crab Chip and it was amazing as well. The waitress was super nice and the place also seemed super nice for a dinner out. We will be back!

If you want a true mom and pop, down to Earth sushi experience, this is IT! I don't live anywhere close but I came here once and only get sushi from here from now on. The sweetest people work here(!!!) Every time I come, they give me extra food just because they are genuinely happy to have people visit their restaurant. It is the most delicious sushi and the warmest feeling when I come here. I go on solo dates here all the time because it literally regulates my nervous system an undiscovered gem in Brookhaven!

I was craving sushi and wanted to try a new spot. I decided to try Sushi Yoshino because I pass by there everyday. When we first walked in, I loved the traditional sushi vibe and appearance of the restaurant. We were the only customers and the server was very nice and had great recommendations. I tried the Black Dragon Roll and my girl had the Yum Yum roll. Both were delicious and filled me up. We had the opportunity to try their crab chips and salmon sushi. Very impressed by the flavors. The prices were a little higher than expected BUT it still wasn't that bad compared to other places. I can't wait to try this place again and see what other rolls they have on the menu. If you're in the area, check this place out.

The vibe of the resteraunt is great for a date night. The service was also nice, we received complimentary sashimi and our food was brought out quickly. We noticed a few tables away that a man had sent back his chicken and walked out, we only ordered sushi. The food itself was fine, the sashimi is definitely the way to go if you want something fresh!

Had dinner here last night. I ordered the salmon avocado salad, and R ordered the dinner chirashi don. The salmon avocado salad included salmon, little chunks of avocado, iceberg lettuce, massage, kale, and a tiny bit of purple cabbage. A ginger based salad dressing came on the side. I had assumed when I ordered the salad that the salmon was going to be cooked. Yes, I love sashimi, but I felt that the raw salmon did not good with the salad dressing. The raw salmon was fresh and the salad overall was good. R's chirashi looked fantastic. The chef did a great job on the presentation. R said that the chirashi tasted really delicious. Parking can be hard to find since the free public parking lot is shared with many businesses, mostly restaurants. Service last night was very attentive and quick, and they made sure that we had prompt refills for the hot tea and water. The restaurant was very clean, and the decor strongly reminded me of small Japanese bars and soba restaurants that I used to visit when I was stationed on Okinawa in my Air Force days. This is a quiet and modest restaurant that is a great place for having conversations while enjoying delicious Japanese food.

We were in the mood for sushi, but no one wanted to go out to grab it. Therefore, we ordered Hawaiian Sunset Roll, Bubble Gum Roll, Super Crunch Roll, and Super Volcano Roll via UberEats. The food arrived fresh, and everything was unbelievably delicious. This was my first time eating sushi from Sushi Yoshino. I will return!

My favorite sushi in Atlanta hands down. Been here 10 times or more (not joking). I'm worried that…read moreif I tell too many people about it, they'll get too popular and possibly raise prices. Law of supply and demand. But given the elevation in quality of life this establishment has provided me with across the years, I feel I owe them some good marketing through a review. If there was a sushi coefficient of freshness, quality, quantity, and cost, this place wins everyday. C= (Fr*Q*q*c) Fr: 9 Q: 8 q: 10 c: 10 C(Yokohama)= 7200 Don't get me wrong - the competition is fierce for delicious sushi (Fudo, MF sushi, Nobu, all the Omakase scenarios popping up in town). What this means is the cost (c) is way too high, giving it a low 1-5 in the equation. Also, quantity (q) is low, about 4-6. So, the resulting coefficient is very low overall. From my understanding, the fish here only comes from Japan, so it's good stuff - and they really load up the rolls (a lot of the time), and they have this deal on weekend for special rolls (25% off I think). So you do get the quality, quantity, and decent price (about $12-15 per specialty roll). The regular rolls are good too, and loaded with fish. E.g. spicy salmon/tuna. So, if you're looking to go crazy on some good sushi without restraint and without breaking the bank completely, this is your spot. family owned I believe, very nice and efficient service. Cozy/casual, not too fancy, but feels comfortable to dine in. No delivery unfortunately on any app, but that makes quality control better IMO. Thank you for your attention to this manner.

What a great deal - my friends and I decided to check it out and we had a great dinner. Servers were attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the Samurai Roll, as well as the Chicken Karaage appetizer. The chicken was sooo good - perfectly, lightly fried with sauce to dip. Tender and flavorful! The Samurai Roll was substantial and I appreciate the generosity of the roll. It was topped with salmon, and usually when rolls are topped with fish, it's usually a pretty thin slice of fish, but these slices of salmon were quite thick in my opinion. The pieces of sushi themselves are also fairly thick - it was a big bite for me to eat each piece in one. I made a reservation in advance and the staff already had my table ready even though I was a little early. The table was already dressed with menus, chopsticks, and some small plates/sauce dishes. Love it when restaurants are on top of it!

Our server was helpful with their recommendations and was attentive the entire time we were there. To start off with the appetizers, the fried tempura appetizers were just okay. The star of the show was definitely the truffle aioli fresh salmon appetizer! The flavors paired so nicely with the fresh salmon cuts. What's keeping me from giving them 5 stars is, despite having a great time and experience, I didn't truly enjoy the rolls as much even though they were good. There were a few unique rolls, but when it came to flavor profiles and uniqueness, it lacked a lot. The appetizers and the sashimi fish are what did a lot of the heavy work, in my opinion. I would still recommend this place to all raw seafood lovers.

The 15-course menu was a masterpiece from start to finish. Each piece felt like art -- stunning presentation followed by incredible flavor. One of the highlights was the Kimi Oboro, prepared using a 200-year-old vinegar technique -- simply remarkable. My sister loved every dish, even falling in love with the pickled ginger! The service was outstanding as well -- two servers took care of us throughout the evening, always greeting us with genuine smiles and impeccable manners. This was probably the best omakase experience I've ever had -- and I've had over a hundred. I'm so glad my sister's first omakase turned into an unforgettable memory. We started with some apps and my favorite was the oysters. Then most of the courses were various nigiri and ofc my favorites were the fatty tuna and eel. I also really liked the uni even though I usually don't! The presentation for everything was gorgeous and some of the sushi was pretty unique with the flavor pairings. Dinner ended with a small sorbet as dessert and my mom and I were both stuffed. I'll definitely be back for a special occasion :)

The poke tacos appetizer were light and flaky with a nice avocado sauce, though I wish they had more tuna and were larger. One order is three tiny tacos about two inches wide by one inch tall for $18. The spicy tuna will was also great, nice and spicy with whole tuna (not shredded) and a slight crunch. Anywhere else I would expect to pay $8-10 for that roll, and even given the inflated airport prices I thought $18 for one roll was a little steep. The service was fantastic. My server while seated at the bar, Phil, was engaging, prompt, polite, funny, gave recommendations, etc. The atmosphere is modern, dark, clean. The warm incandescent light, marble tabletops, and wood-look flooring is a nice contrast to the flourescent lit concourse right outside. Service was great, waitress had great recommendations for everyone in her area. She also added sauce on the side for me to try. I ordered lamb couscous plate, forgot the official name of it but lamb was very tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. Couscous was firm but cooked, hummus and tahini flow with that combo very well. My only complaint about this dish is the combo of warm and cold ingredients. Everything was warmed and cooked but the vegetables that were on top, it surprised me for sure. However it was still tasty. They served food and drinks in glass and ceramics, which i am very appreciative of, no plastic water cups, i know that bar is low but that is just a reality nowadays. Good food selection, great customer care, maybe just a tiny bit more attention to the food composition. Would recommend! P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that.

Two of my friends had spoken so highly of it, and after experiencing it for myself, I completely understood why. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were absolutely phenomenal. My friend and I came back about three weeks later for happy hour, and in between that birthday dinner and today, she has actually returned 3-4 more times because she lives only about seven minutes away. She has even taken the time to leave multiple positive reviews about Osha Thai because of how much she genuinely enjoys the restaurant. Needless to say, we are both familiar with and supportive of the restaurant. Unfortunately, today's experience missed the mark. As soon as we walked in, the energy just did not feel welcoming. We were really excited to come in for happy hour and sat at the bar from 5-7 PM. The restaurant was extremely slow when we arrived--in fact, we were the only guests there--yet it still took quite a while for the bartender to come over so we could even place our order. My friend was especially looking forward to the mussels, so she ordered those, while I ordered a sushi roll and we each ordered a drink. Unfortunately, she never received her mussels. The bartender, Tony, was not attentive throughout our visit, and we eventually had to get someone else's attention just to ask for our check. When we asked for the check, I made sure to mention that my friend had never received her mussels. The manager, Nick, came over, looked at the tab, and apologized. We explained the situation to him as well, but Tony was still nowhere to be found and never came over to acknowledge what happened or apologize. Nick did offer us a 15% discount card for a future visit, which we appreciated, but honestly, that wasn't really the point. It was about the principle and the overall experience. My friend and I have both worked in the restaurant industry for years, so we completely understand that mistakes happen. We're not expecting perfection. What matters is how those situations are handled, and unfortunately, we left feeling somewhat dismissed rather than valued. Despite everything, we still left a 20% tip because we understand the industry and don't believe one bad experience should define someone's livelihood. I'm sharing this because we genuinely love Osha Thai. My friend has supported this restaurant multiple times, has returned several times, and has posted multiple positive reviews about her experiences. That's why today was especially disappointing. We know Osha Thai is capable of providing the exceptional food, drinks, service, and hospitality that we experienced during the birthday dinner. Hopefully, today was simply an off day. We would love to return and have the experience that made us love Osha Thai in the first place.
