This is my favorite sushi spot in Atlanta. The service is always amazing! Wonderful atmosphere. Not too loud and perfect for dinner with friends or date night. The sushi is AMAZING! I try something different every time and am always so pleased. I had the sake to me baby which was delicious. 10/10! I love coming here when I'm crazing some good sushi.

Feeling like sushi today. I caught them at Happy Hour menu. I haven't been to O-Ku in a very long time. I love this spot. It's elegant but yet a relax chill vibe. The food is amazing. Today I sat at the bar and decided on getting the Sake To Me Baby and the Unagi San (Makimono). My favorite dish was the Unagi San it was just a burst of flavors. Both dishes did not disappoint my appetite today for good sushi. Pervious visits did not disappoint me either. And the service has always been fantastic. Oh! This spring and summer take advantage of the roof top dining.

My son took me for their omakase experience & it was mind blowing!! I was worried about trying to eat 9 courses of whatever is given to me but was truly the most amazing food experience! The flavors in every dish served to us were unique & complimented everything on the pates to even our drinks. The chef & staff were so kind taking time to explain each dish. Just loved it!

Came here solo on a Saturday night for the anniversary Osusume. Every item was delicious! I kept being surprised by how each course was so different yet all were craveable. My favorites were the bun and the akami crudo and the bao bun. I wouldn't order the O-Kurr roll again bc it's just got too much going on, but was fun to try it. The dessert is when things went south. The Ube brownie was awful. It's gluten free and was not sweet. Once the condensed milk syrup was gone, I couldn't eat it. Maybe it's better with ice cream the way they serve it on the regular menu. I was really disappointed bc I think this was the first time I've ever not liked something made with Ube. My waitress was super energetic and lovely. The restaurant itself is kinda dark and romantic. It would be nice for a date night for sure.

O-Ku serves excellent sushi, cocktails, and sake, and has beautiful decor. Their sashimi, nigiri, and specialty sushi rolls are fantastic. They also offer omakase. Please make a reservation so you know you will have a seat. Come for Happy Hour Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. If you do get these two delectable rolls. The TUNA CRUNCH is spicy tuna, cucumber, crab, crispy leeks, spicy aioli, and eel sauce, which is $12. Also, get the MT.FUJI with crab-topped, tempura shrimp, avocado, crunchy onion finish, and eel sauce, which is $10. I love a rainbow roll, and theirs is one of the best. It costs $17 and includes yellowtail, salmon, tuna, shrimp, avocado, shiso leaf, crunchy crab, and cucumber. We also had crispy rice, which cost $21. I didn't realize the variety of food on this menu. They have a lot more than just sushi, and so much more that we wanted to try. We definitely have to come back.

I have been searching for a sushi spot in ATL and this one is a gem! I visited for happy hour on a Wednesday night and we were one of the first ones in the restaurant. The aesthetics of the restaurant were beautiful, intimate and grown/sexy. Our server Dylan was absolutely phenomenal! He was training a new server and I just know she is going to learn a ton. Dylan provided incredible descriptions of the menu items and drinks. He had me wanting to try one of everything. Haha! We opted for the happy hour menu and had the edamame with truffle salt and Mt Fuji roll. My friend also loved her miso soup. The Mt. Fuji roll was good but a little on the softer side than what I am used to however it was fresh. I had two Raichitinis the flavors was creamy and fruity. It took a moment to come out but it was such a delicate & delicious drink the bartender definitely took his time. Apparently it's their spin on a lychee martini and I thoroughly approve. I appreciate the manager checking in on our table. I am extremely impressed with the establishment and can't wait to return. I am interested in seeing how O-Ku operates on a busy night. I look forward to trying their lobster roll and salmon entree. See you soon O-Ku!!

Amazing quality sushi with so much freshness packed in every bite! We didn't have reservations on a Saturday night, but we're so kind to seat us at the sushi bar to be in all the action! The dark ambiance screams romantic date night. The Marbled Forest (sushi without the seaweed) was a refreshing twist on sushi with dill and basil topped for all the freshness. We love spicy rolls and the Baja California hit the spot with Serrano peppers and sriracha dotted on top. Overall, a beautiful place to enjoy high-quality sushi for the perfect date night!

I've been to this location quite a few times! Every time we go, the staff is super helpful and kind. They have an amazing midday "lunch" set that is worth every penny because you get so much food with it. We're honestly never able to finish the whole thing, but we try our best because it's so delicious! The vibe is pretty laid-back, but also super Luxe.

Always love Oku. I'm visiting from DC and the DC location is also a fave of mine. Similar menu but I appreciate the differences. I love the Follow the Yellow Brick Roll 2.0 it is seriously one of the best rolls I've ever had. It's so fresh and unique with the lemon slice on top. Seriously amazing. The Mt Fuji is also very good as well. The crispy rice was good, it was a little sticky but still pretty tasty. The sugar and spice drink was super tasty and not too spicy which was appreciated.

Tiffany was fantastic. It was the perfect evening for my wife and I. It was our anniversary yesterday and her birthday today. The food was great. Drinks were great. The customer service was excellent. We will be back soon.

Came in for happy hour with a friend a couple weeks ago. The happy hour menu is food only; but they have some great things on there for a great price! We got the shrimp tempura, a roll and the salmon appetizer. The shrimp was soooo good! Great service and a nice atmosphere. They only do valet parking which is $5 - but it's probably better than anything else you'd find in the area. Great spot for a date night or girls night!

A solid night at O-Ku with standout sushi and inventive drinks. The rainbow roll and spicy tuna roll had great texture and balance--bright flavors without overpowering heat. The signature cocktails (think citrus-forward and herbal notes) complemented the sashimi selections nicely and helped cut through the richness. For sushi lovers, the nigiri options felt thoughtfully prepared, with quality rice and clean fish bite. Service was knowledgeable about the menu and timing between courses, though the dining room can get bustling on weekends. Worth a visit for date night or a celebratory meal.

If you are close to Buford Hwy you should try this place. They have parking for a few cars right in front, a smallish restaurant inside with a full sushi bar. Their menu is pretty comprehensive and includes fried rice, noodles, sushi rolls, sashimi, soups etc. As we were a large group we ordered a bunch of things. Most of the entrees are served with a salad and soup making it quite the meal. We ordered the sashimi appetizer, the pork gyoza, shrimp shumai, omelette, combination fried rice, B-52 roll, sunrise roll, crunchy roll I think. Sashimi was fresh - yellowtail, tuna, salmon. The gyoza was delicious and table favorite Honestly, I even enjoyed the pork belly omelette. So flavorful... The fried rice was cooked well but was missing some seasoning/salt. Otherwise good. The rolls were great and we selected ones that had some spice. My favorite was the sunrise roll - a little crunchy inside yet with a slight kick. The staff felt a little overwhelmed with our group but they were polite and helpful. Food was prices reasonably and worth it (for the portion sizes).

That said, locals recommended it, and I usually love sushi as a post-flight meal since it's light and fresh. The ambiance is dreamy, and I really appreciated the attentive service and bar seating. Unfortunately, they fell a bit flat for me. I ended up adding a lot of soy sauce since they sincerely lacked flavor. When the bill came, I realized this probably wasn't the best choice for a quick, light meal. The prices were comparable to California, but the quality didn't quite match. That said, the person sitting next to me mentioned she visits often and felt that the night was a bit off, so I'd be open to giving it another try next time I'm in town.

Service? Excellent. Ambiance? Relaxed and enjoyable. Food? Oh...MAN. Wow…read more.. I came here about 8 years ago with the same family members +1 family friend and we enjoyed dinner then, but it truly didn't compare to this visit. Previously, I had Kang Nam slated as an overpriced, but decent sushi place that serves meals on a more robust scale if you're dining with a party. However, the sushi back then was somewhat underwhelming. Last night, we had a phenomenal set. Hamachi, Otoro, Unagi, Ebi, and more! Every piece was delicately balanced and beautifully arranged. Honestly, I wasn't really expecting too much going in- and I'd only chosen Kang Nam as a place where I could get some decent sushi while my family got something else entirely. My mom had Don Katsu (served with a small dish of Japanese style curry sauce). My uncle got the Tempura Udon, of which they served the tempura shrimp on the side in a bed of tempura flakes. This is kind of genius, because you can make the decision on when you want to dip in your tempura instead of them bringing it and you have to down the tempura fast in order to still have it be crunchy... NOT HERE! It stays crunchy since they serve it separately. Love that. We had refillable banchan: kimchi, king oyster mushrooms, and glass noodles- all of which were delicious. We all received bowls of deliciously simple miso soup and we ordered a set of fried dumplings. Everything was great! That is...until the sushi came out. Wow. Presentation: 10/10. Flavor? 10/10. Portion-size: TEN OUT OF TEN, Y'ALL. The sushi rice was fantastic and they didn't use too much like a lot of places do with their nigiri. The toppings were functionally decorative. The sweet shrimp was especially pretty with two different colors of roe on top. The yellowtail didn't need the toppings it had- green onion and fish/squid flakes(?)- in my opinion, but they added a dimension of texture to the initial bite and a hint of flavor to the finish. The fish was perfect in every way: not too thick, no too thin, overlapping the rice by double to allow for perfect soy sauce dips without soaking the rice, and I just CAN NOT EXPLAIN how good each piece was... The sushi rolls were so delicious and every bite had wonderful textures and flavors, but my absolute favorite roll was the one with the smoked tuna on top- WOW! Absolutely stunned. Never - EVER - have I actually tasted the smoke flavor so clearly and completely. I am a HUGE fan of that one and I can't even remember the name of it...it's in the picture on the plate behind the sweet shrimp. The eel nigiri was also a highlight for me- as it's one of my favorite pieces of sushi, I always order several pieces. I was happily surprised to see they were nearly twice the size I get at other restaurants. Hands-down, the best otoro (fatty tuna) I've had in Atlanta. The sushi chef here also believes in giving special service by preparing some extra pieces for the customers as well. I only ordered one set of otoro, but next time....oh my...my bill is gonna hurt next time. Each 2-piece set of otoro is set at $17, so...yeah... It's going to be SO WORTH IT though. I will 10000% be back- soon. I might just get some Otoro, Hamachi, and one of those smoked tuna rolls...man. SO. RIDICULOUSLY. GOOD. Get in there if you haven't been in a while. Trust me!

Parking is in the back, and you validate inside using your license plate. A helpful tip is to snap a picture before you walk in so you do not have to run back outside looking for it. Service is usually quick and always friendly, while the menu never misses. My go-to is The Great Wave appetizer. The cocktails are great, and I need to check if they still offer bottomless mimosas. That was always a fun bonus, but either way, I'll be back!

Osha Thai Sushi Galleria is such a gem. The food is really good and they have great lunch specials,…read morewhich is always a win. The sushi is fresh and flavorful, and the cocktails are fun without being gimmicky. But let me tell you what really caught me off guard. The presentation is dramatic in the best way. They serve the sushi and drinks with this whole "smoking babbling brook" setup like you just unlocked the bonus level of your meal. It is absolutely Instagram-worthy and honestly adds to the experience. I've been many times and usually the service is excellent but on a few recent lunch visits, not sure if a rude customer just left, if staff was ready to go or what, but service could have used some improvement. Not outright rude, just bare minimum effort and very inattentive I still say This is a great spot for lunch, a cute date, or when you want sushi that tastes good and looks good. I'd definitely go back, just maybe not during lunch for a while

This time I ordered the yellowtail jalapeño and miso eggplant and shrimp dish and chocolate appetizer. I liked the freshness and spiciness of the yellow tail japaleno but would have preferred the sauce to be less sweet. The eggplant with miso dressing was filling and unique. I liked the combination of shrimp plus vegetables between eggplant, zucchini and mushroom. All the vegetables were well cooked and moist without feeling heavy with oil. And the miso dressing was lovely. The chocolate dessert was great - wish it was dark chocolate. Service was top notch as always. And ambiance was high end

I thought I didn't like sesame until I had this drink and it completely changed my mind. The hand rolls are delicious and fresh and such a good deal at happy hour. The brunch menu really spotlights the skills of the pastry chef. Don't sleep on the desserts and breads here. The croissant service is a must because the croissants here are perfect, and the snow crab/marscapone dip completes it. The croissant burger is also one of the best burgers I've ever had. You can still get sushi at brunch too! The yellowtail has a crunchy leek on top and is served with a yuzu aioli that is delicious. They also serve coffees and teas for brunch and have an espresso martini tasting.
