There's a super friendly couple running things and the service was quick. There are options for booths, tables, or little private booths with curtains. We all had miso soup and sushi, which was fresh and delicious. The inari was also perfect. We have been twice now and will definitely visit again! read more

It was my 1st time here today. Service was pretty fast. Food came out pretty quickly as well. Ambiance is very cool. I ordered the miso soup, tuna handroll, spicy tuna roll and spicy yellowtail roll. I felt the miso soup was pretty good as well as the tuna handroll. But, I felt the spicy tuna roll and spicy yellowtail roll was a bit salty. Been here a handful of times and absolutely love the rolls here. Service is great and the atmosphere is warm. If you're looking for a quiet place, I highly recommend. Also a good place for lunch, dinner, date night or even family night. You can call ahead and pick up your order if you just want to enjoy at home. I'm pretty picky with places I go eat at. As you may not know, I grew up in the food industry business as well as having a hospitality degree. I can tell Sushi Cafe uses fresh and top quality ingredients, which you can taste in their rolls. Stopped by this location due to an appointment in the area. Located in the French Quarters, this sushi restaurant was pretty empty at 1:30pm. I was greeted immediately by the sushi chef + seated by the main waiter. SERVICE: very attentive. I joked that the main server could pass as a Korean Air Stewardess because of how hospitable and accommodating she was. LOCATION: each booth had a little bit of privacy with the curtains + had wonderful view. FOOD: I got the sushi combo 3 and it was not the most filling for $18 but was okay. The shrimp tempura roll was crispy and satisfying. The nigiri was also okay except for the shrimp. It had an odd texture/flavor. Overall very good! It would be interesting to try some of the larger sushi combos when I am in the area. read more

Great place to get sushi in Duluth. I ordered mine for delivery. I've eaten here before as well. I got the Cucumber Roll, Big Vegetable Roll, and the California roll. Usually I don't get veggie rolls but I wanted to try it. It was a bit dry but that's vegetables for you. The California Roll was so good. Parking isn't bad here either for the times I have gone. Great prices for sushi. Highly recommend if you're craving sushi. Side note for delivery orders: I do wish they would separate the sushi into different boxes so I know which one I'm grabbing for. This place is a gem! I'm not sure what's better the sushi or the customer service. I was feeling sushi one day while in the area and found them right here on yelp. When i arrived the restaurant wasn't busy and i was seating right away in one of there privacy booths which was perfect as i had a working lunch ( adulting *sigh). The hostess provided suggestions of their most popular items and best sellers. I chose a a roll with spicy tuna and one with salmon. Can't recall the names but They were both delicious and oh so fresh! I highly recommend trying them out to satisfy your satisfy your sushi cravings. This is an unassuming restaurant off the side of Peachtree Industrial, but the interior is cozy and the food is satisfying and affordable. I believe they are Korean owned as our server spoke mainly Korean with my friend. The regular rolls were $6-8 and special rolls around $11-12. The lady who took care of us was also super sweet and gave me a complimentary miso soup even though I only ordered rolls and not the entree that included the soup. The food was decent, not amazing - my miso soup was salty, and the rice was packed too hard and a little mushy on my rolls. However, the quantity of my spicy tuna roll and spider roll really surprised me as I was expecting the tiny 6-pc basic rolls that you get at other places for $6. The flavors were really good as well. My friend got the poke which looked a little non-traditional - the sauce for the fish was definitely based on korean sweet/spicy sauce, and there were large chunks of pineapple in it. The fish seemed fresh though. Don't expect the highest quality sushi here, but I would recommend this as a cheap and filling local spot to stop for lunch. read more

We love the Sushi Cafe! We've tried 6 or 7 rolls so far and each roll was different and delicious. My favorite rolls are the XXX roll and the Sun roll. There's a huge menu of rolls to choose from. There's also many cooked rolls to choose from which is why I come here so often. There's also more to eat on the menu besides sushi. We look forward to trying the House Fried rice next! All employees are very Covid conscious by wearing face masks and shields. You can sit on the patio which is very spacious and well lit or inside where the tables are split into mini rooms (hard to explain but fantastic in a pandemic). All rolls are 50% off which always makes things even better! There's plenty of free parking and seating for all party sizes. This place is seriously phenomenal. It's super convenient for me as it's close to my parents house. But I'll comment on the food. I ordered the sushi combo 3 for pickup. Food is delicious. The nigiri was melt in your mouth creamy. I didn't stay there, but the ambiance seemed welcoming. They had private booths available for seating too. It looked cute inside. The lady was quick with her service and nice. Also how cute is the way they still present the sushi and nigiri in the to go packages. We have had great experiences here and during the pandemic, their outdoor seating makes this spot a five star in our book! This spot is easy to get to and has ample parking. We have never been on a night that I would describe it as crowded, but the distanced outdoor seating area can fill up. In their outdoor seating area, they have about 6-8 tables spread out nicely, so diners can enjoy social distancing. All servers have worn face masks during our visits, and service has been prompt and attentive. Now, the food - everything has been great! The edamame is hot and salty and delivers that quick bite you need right after arriving and before your food is ready. We also often start with the agedashi tofu, which is always a delightful dish in my book. Theirs is light and fluffy on the outside and oh so creamy on the inside. The sauce has the perfect note of sourness mixed with the savory soy. I love this dish. We most often enjoy the rolls (which recently have been 50% off, making them a steal!). Most recently, we enjoyed the Peachtree roll, the Godzilla roll, and the sweet roll. All of them were a hit. But I also enjoy the less flashy, but equally delicious, spicy tuna. This is a great spot for pandemic dining, and we haven't located any other sushi restaurants in the area with good outdoor seating options. And we love to give the local restaurants our support. We went to Sushi Cafe for lunch. The cafe was amazing and well decorated. All the Covid 19 rules were followed and even our temperatures were checked. Inside the cafe we sat in the small cafe that was quite cool. We ordered Spring Rolls, 5 PC Nigiri Roll plus California and Shrimp Tempura Roll, Chicken Fried Rice. When Fried Rice came we didnt like the taste of it so we requested them to replace with Chicken Wings and restaurant accepted our request. Been a regular here since the pandemic for to go sushi. Its our fav sushi place near Alpharetta. They were running a special bogo 50% sushi deal for a long time but I noticed they discontinued it. Prices are average and comparable to other places for sushi rolls being $11-13. I really like the three amigos, dragon, a play girl, and peach tree roll. This place is very consistent and easy to put an order for pick up at over the phone. The workers have always been nice. there's outdoor seating and a lot of private parking. read more

Wow I'm so glad I tried Sushi Cafe! Cute space and I was sat in a small private "room" as seen in the picture. I started with the house salad with ginger dressing which was delicious. I think the dressing is homemade and I wish I could bottle it up! I then ordered the calamari roll and Philadelphia roll. Both rolls were fresh and of great quality. I was excited to try the calamari roll which had tempura squid since I feel that most sushi restaurants don't offer it. If you're looking for good sushi, look no further! read more

We found Sushi Cafe randomly when coming back from a road trip and this is now our go to sushi spot! I highly recommend checking out this business! Atmosphere The place is so cute! They have private seating areas which makes things much better to eat and enjoy your company. I felt more comfortable eating out. But you can open the curtain and watch the sushi chef make your sushi as well! Food The sushi rolls were so good! We wanted a wide variety (also because we were super hungry) so we got the Volcano roll, dragon roll, spider roll, calamari roll, spicy salmon and spicy tuna roll. Everything was so good and made fresh! My absolute favorite is the spider roll (soft shell crab) and I'm getting it every single time I go back. We also got a hot green tea. It was perfect for these rainy summer days and sushi. Plus the prices for sushi is super reasonable and affordable. They range from about $6-12 per roll. Service We had the best service from a waitress named Sue! She was the sweetest lady and she took care of us. She was very polite, checked in on us at the right times and was so nice to talk to. As always, the food was delicious. I think at this point, I have tried every role on the menu. Definitely try the sun roll, it's a must have. Service is exceptional . And the setting was very quiet. The sushi is prepared when you're order, the ingredients all taste super fresh! It's two other couples working the restaurant, they are super nice! The food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Crazy Girl Roll (deep fried spicy tuna role): low the crisp to the tempura, however, it does taste heavy if you eat too many pieces. Tiger Roll (California roll with tuna and salmon on top): this was my personal favorite. Hell Roll (spicy crab salad, cucumber, with spicy tuna, crunch, and green onions on top): tasted good! Trust Me Roll (spicy tuna, cucumber with torched yellowtail): this was my least favorite, learned that I just don't like yellowtail. Miso soup is like your typical miso soup. It would have been better if they brought it out with the sushi. Even though most of the roll I ordered said spicy, it wasn't :( but after you dip it in wasabi it's spicy enough. Also ordered an 22oz of cold Asahi. Perfect for the hot weather! Would definitely be back to try more. Note to self: don't order all tuna based sushi...taste too similar. read more

We just found our new favorite go-to sushi restaurant. For convenience we ordered all (only) rolls to-go (take out). We had the Shrimp Tempura (R11), Spider (R20), Eel Avocado (R12), Calamari (R15), Vegetable (R18), Spicy Tuna (R2), Negri Hamachi (R10) and California (R1) rolls. None disappointed. Each and every one of them were great . . . fresh with generous portions. No skimping and all the rolls were either 6 to 8 pieces each. The staff was fantastic. I called twice in advance, the first time just to better understand the online menu and the second time to place our order. On both calls I had multiple questions and both times the folks that answered were very friendly, patient, listened and clear in their answers. Upon arrival the atmosphere was very nice and the person that gave us our order and took payment was equally as nice and a pleasure to speak with. As I mentioned earlier we did take-out. We will most definitely return many times again. I look forward to dining in on a next visit. We passed by this little quaint restaurant along side the main road. The outside was very inviting with the tables under softly lit lanterns. The private rooms were perfect for our family to enjoy each other during an awesome eating experience! The sushi chef is to be admired bringing 30 years experience to our table. He was a joy to meet & so was Ann our wonderful server! With quality & price along with the warm hearts of Sushi cafe we will now be recurring customers!
