Tried the new Dim Sum selections last evening at Mr. Bento. Overall very good for a QSR rather than full service sit down restaurant, especially the Xiao Long Bao with plenty of soup inside. Har Gao were quite good as well. Really enjoyed the food and especially Joyce's warm hospitality. This is a must try.

$2.00 sushi rolls with the purchase of any wrap or dosirak. The best prices for homemade flavors. This is my favorite hidden lunch spot. Casual cafes like this bring me so much happiness. Probably best XLB I've had in Georgia so far. Plenty of soup inside each dumpling and good flavor. Handmade. The chili wontons were ok. On the pricier side.

I love how she is always getting new machines in here. $20 and you get a free token. I'm like a kid again lol . Really cool atmosphere. The owner knows me by now and always has the best smile and attitude ! Awesome store! I love seeing it stay busy. My favorite part is how you get to pick 3 sides to go with your main dish! I make tacos at home with the chicken and beef ones ! TIP HINT HINT

I was in the same shopping plaza and decided to pick up some sushi. I got the trio with spicy salmon, spicy tuna and cooked salmon. It was easy to over online through their website site and they are also on ubereats. They were packing my order as I walked in which was perfect timing. Each roll comes in 6 pieces and they are so good. I liked all the variety. I will be back to try other items another time.

Introduced Dim Sum items. Yum. Soup Dumplings are so delicious as are the onigiri. Friendly service. Great for quick snack or after working out at Crunch. Healthy.

We came to this store on a Saturday for early dinner after reading about this new store online. It is in a large shopping area with plenty of parking. GENERAL: The entrance is very well seen with its big sign/promotional signs outside the store. Hours listed below in picture (closed on Tuesdays). AMBIANCE: the store has a "japanese" vibe with vending machine/items for sale. The menu is pretty straightforward and easy to order. There is a small self service area (napkins, utensils, water fountain, straws) and all food comes in a disposable Togo box regardless of dining status. FOOD: we got the SHRIMP TEMPURA BENTO BOX + SALMON RAW BENTO BOX and added on the $2 roll. The tempura was crispy and tasty but the shrimp pieces were very tiny. The salmon raw had a nice flavor and portion sizes were appropriate. The "free" add on toppings all fit into one carton space and were not the most appropriately distributed (ex: 3 pieces of lettuce but a ton of seaweed salad). They are currently having a promotion where if you like them on Facebook/Instagram, you get a free drink of choice so I got a strawberry milk boba. It was exactly what it sounds like. SERVICE: SUCH FRIENDLY OWNER/chef. She saw that my toddler really liked some of the Chinese crackers so I asked about it and she taught me the Chinese words and gave me extra/helpful information on where to find it for my son. The cashier had mistakenly not given me half/half rice and noodles so she made me a whole fresh new set. We will be back here to try other menu options! Note: this is not the most infant/toddler friendly as there are NO high chairs, diaper changing stations and so it made it a bit difficult to dine. But otherwise a very pleasant experience.

Solid food. Decent price. Service was great - super nice ladies. Ambiance was okay, but I like it.

We really enjoyed our visit to Mr. bento. We ordered the chicken, beef, and salmon meals and added the $2 sushi rolls to each meal. We also got all of the free sides except for cream cheese. Overall really enjoyed the food. The only thing I wish I knew beforehand is that the salmon is not whole salmon (it's more like the salmon you put in your sushi). I thought the sushi was better than the meals so we might try more sushi next time we come here. The sushi is definitely worth the $2 upcharge. They also sell bubble tea and sushi pizza. Fun place and we will be back next time we are in the area.

Chicken teriyaki and eel bento box

Loved our experience here. They have customizable sushi burritos, sushi rolls, and bento boxes. We tried the eel and chicken teriyaki bento boxes. The chicken one was about $9 and the eel one was $14. Extra sides are free and they have an option between rice or noodles. I did half half. Both are mildly seasoned and pair well with the teriyaki glaze on the meat and the sides. Everything tasted very fresh, light, and clean. The corn salad paired so well with the seaweed salad and chicken teriyaki. The eel was very tasty too! Our service was so nice and the worker took the time to explain all our options and promotions. This is a great lunch spot. New and clean. Will be back!

This spot is great for hanging out with friends, thanks to the board games and gacha machines. I had the Deep-Fried Chicken bento, and with two orders, I got a free coffee boba--perfect for a caffeine fix! My friend enjoyed the Eel Hand Roll and Spicy Tuna Burrito, both fresh and delicious, and we loved the free gacha token with every $20 spent.

Sushi combo $9.99. Too much for me to eat!

Great food and service. Fun little hidden gem! Stop in for a great bento box, hand rolled sushi rolls and more!

I learned about the place from Instagram - not sure if they still have the $10 lunch specials but that was the lure that got us to check it out. They are located in the same shopping as the Medlock Regal Cinema. CHICKEN KARAAGE COMBO - $10 The karaage was good. Came w/ a mayo-like sauce for dipping. Cabbage salad served as a starter - learned later that you can opt for the potato salad instead which we'll try next time. Combo also came w/ a miso soup which was delicious ... one of the best miso soups I've had! MINCED KATSU COMBO - $10 This was the highlight dish for sure. The katsu coating was perfection, and the pork inside was not at all what I expected ... it was minced and interesting tasting ... we loved it! Served w/ two sauces, and pickles. Also came w/ the cabbage salad as a starter, and the miso soup. Next time I'd like to try the Croquette Combo w/ the potato salad - and eventually try all their dishes. The menu looked really good!

I will say i liked the chicken thigh katsu more. It didn't feel too tiring when eating it. Compared to the pork katsu but that's just my preference. Both dishes were about $19-20 a plate and it came with the choice of a cabbage salad or potato salad. We tried both and I liked the potato salad more. The sauce one the cabbage salad was a sesame dressing it was on the creamer side. On the table you're served with matcha salt, Japanese chili oil, and a spicy seasoning for curry. I would definitely recommend trying the matcha salt as well as the curry seasoning if you want a small kick!! The service was great! They checked on you regularly and there's also a button to call for service. And all the workers (even the ones in the kitchen) greet you when you walk in! Inside had tables and booths. Yet, there is something special about Flying Roll. Anything from it's cozy, quiet atmosphere to the flavor-forward rolls, I'd go so far as to say, there's nothing that would disappoint. We dined on Shumai and Rangoon with our hot green tea. The rolls arrived in very good time following - The Triple X, Lobster Love and Snow Mountain rolls. The Shumai was very tasty, but the Rangoon had with more crab than cream cheese - a first, much to our pleasure. For the rolls, each was enough for one person. The standout was the Lobster Lover, followed very closely by the Triple X. The snow mountain roll was a bit heavy with the tempura flakes ( the Snow? ) but decent overall. Recapping, the service, flavors and vibe all warrant future visits for certain, if for no other reason than to try their other offerings, which are plentiful! Even the drive itself would not be a factor. BON APPÉTIT

Aji Katsu in Suwanee, GA Japanese Tonkatsu & Ramen Spot…read more I am just not a big fan of the sweet flavor in Japanese cuisine. Aji Katsu does have some similar flavors in Japan. Shrimp Curry Udon - Classic Japanese curry: slightly sweet, super rich, and bold. Sauce coats every udon perfectly. Shrimp tempura a bit over-fried, slightly chewy, but tonkatsu-style breadcrumbs gave it a nice crunch. 8.5/10 Yakisoba - Generous portion for the price! Sauce has that tangy, fruity flavor I remember from Tokyo. Beef lightly seasoned. Personally, tangy noodles aren't my favorite, but Tokyo street-style lovers will enjoy. 8/10 Hibachi (Hambāgu) - Grilled Japanese hamburger steak, fried rice, sautéed veggies. Meat tender, veggies had a hint of truffle seasoning. Sweet teriyaki glaze not my favorite. 7/10 Bingsu - Red beans + condensed milk. Small size perfect for 2. Sweet, creamy, refreshing. 9/10

Initially, entering the store was a bit off. The hostess didn't speak to me for about two minutes; she'd made the assumption I was with another party getting a pick up order. But after that was resolved, I was seated quickly. The store layout was nice; big booths with tall sides for privacy. I'm not sure if I liked how all their chopsticks were in a container you pulled from the table but overall a small detail. I did really like getting ice cold water and the metal carafe they provided kept the ice out of the drink. I went for their Aji Ramen and got the $10 3 handroll add on. My choices were unagi, toro, and spicy tuna. Shockingly they didn't have any spicy tuna do I chose a salmon instead. The hand rolls came out first and a pair of scissors were also provided if I wanted to cut them myself. Here are my thoughts: Toro - surprisingly bland. There wasn't the feeling of rich fatness that I expect with it though to be fair I am comparing this to a far higher end omakase experience. Needless to say, I wouldn't chose this again. Salmon - surprisingly good. This ended up being my favorite of the three. The salmon was nice and fresh and the soy sauce and wasabi made for tasty savor bites. Unagi - also good. I'm a sucker for eel. Because of the ponzu sauce, there's no need for soy sauce. I made a mistake of dipping a piece that I cut from the handroll and it was way too salty. Eaten as is, it was just what I expected Aji Ramen - a solid bowl of ramen. I was very pleased with the full egg and also the chashu pork. I don't know if I recall the bean sprouts but at $14, this was kind of a steal in terms of bang for buck. Plenty of food even by itself. All in all, I liked Aji-Katsu. I don't think I'd travel for it but if I was in the area and in the mood I would stop in again.

Outstanding ramen, incredible fresh noodles, and excellent service from Aaliyah…read more Okiboru Ramen Takumen in Duluth was absolutely worth the visit, and honestly, I'm just mad at myself for not trying it sooner. I started with the Okiboru buns (chicken and pork) the crispy gyoza, and the garlic nori fries. All three were a great start to the meal. The buns were soft and fluffy, and the pork bun worked really well with the garlic aioli, soy glaze, and pickled cucumber. The chicken one was good too but the pork one beats it on flavor. The gyoza had a nice crisp to them and came with a shoyu dipping sauce that tied everything together well. The garlic nori fries were also really good, crispy and well seasoned, and a fun side to snack on between everything else along with the garlic sauce to dip your fries in. For my main dish, I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which comes with rich pork broth, pork chashu, half a soft boiled egg, scallions, and thin Hakata noodles. I also added the thick noodle refill on the side, and I'm glad I did because both noodles were excellent in different ways. The biggest standout here was the noodle quality. You can tell immediately that these are fresh noodles because the texture is just on another level. The thin noodles were fantastic and worked perfectly with the tonkotsu broth, but the thick noodles were incredible too. It's one of those meals where after the first bite you immediately understand why people talk about fresh noodles the way they do. The broth itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling overly heavy, and the pork in the ramen was very good too. Service was also a big part of why this visit stood out. Aaliyah was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she did a great job making the whole experience feel comfortable from the start. Good food is one thing, but good service is a huge part of what makes people want to come back, and she absolutely deserves a shoutout. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I was dining solo, so I sat at a smaller table, but they also have booths and larger middle tables that look like they'd work well for bigger groups. Food came out pretty quickly, and parking was easy since it's in a shopping center. And of course, everything got washed down with a Coke Zero. Not fountain, just canned, but it still hit the spot. This was an excellent meal from start to finish. Great appetizers, outstanding ramen, truly impressive noodles, and service that made the whole visit even better. I'll definitely be back.

My boyfriend ordered the truffle shoyu ramen and also found it to be underwhelming. The ambiance has also changed since my last visit. They've replaced the middle bar area with more tables and painted over the previously drawn-on walls. The space feels noticeably darker now and lacks some of the character it once had.
