I came here on a Friday night based off a friend's recommendation. To me, the dinning area had a standard setup. A bunch of tables and a main counter. I was seated right away and given water without asking. I ordered a large combination pho with Vietnamese coffee. The broth was good, not too salty. The large pho was super huge with plenty of meat. Took my parents to PDL for lunch today. I ordered the medium (fatty) brisket and they ordered the combo bowls. What I like about PDL is their prices. A medium is $16 and a large (which is more like an ex large) is $17. You can get a full hearty bowl of soup for under 20 bucks. Definitely a great price. Only suggestion I would make is to make some renovations to the interior of the restaurant. I feel like it would definitely make the ambiance that much better. I want to be upfront with this review and call out my experience honestly. Personally, I'm sensitive to heavy MSG usage. When I eat at many Japanese or Korean soup restaurants that don't rely heavily on MSG, I rarely get headaches afterward. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I ordered the bún bò Huế, a spicy and rich Vietnamese noodle soup originating from the central city of Huế. Traditionally, it features a bold, savory broth flavored with lemongrass, shrimp paste, and chili oil, served with thick rice vermicelli noodles, sliced beef, pork (often shank or knuckle), and fresh herbs with crunchy vegetables like banana blossom or cabbage. The portion was generous and visually accurate to the dish, but the broth felt extremely heavy and overpowering for me, and I left with a noticeable headache--something that doesn't usually happen to me at similar soup-focused restaurants. As a side note, the restaurant had a health inspection score of 81 (low B) the last time I checked, which is fairly in line with many older, high-volume ethnic restaurants, but still worth mentioning for transparency. The location is also something to be aware of. It's in a busy parking lot with a lot of reckless driving activity, so be careful when walking--this isn't the kind of place where you can casually stroll through the lot like you might at Whole Foods or Publix. You definitely need to watch left and right. The surrounding businesses include an American Deli and a pizza buffet, which gives you an idea of the overall environment. Overall, Pho Dai Lo serves authentic, bold-flavored Vietnamese dishes, and fans of strong, intense broths may enjoy it. However, if you're sensitive to very rich seasoning or additives, your experience may vary. You are seated fairly quickly and the service is speedy. We got the Cha Gio, Pho Tai Gau, and Bun Bo Hue. The Cha Gio was thick and crispy. I enjoyed the filling inside, but it tasted pretty typical of egg rolls at a Vietnamese restaurant. The Bun Bo Hue was alright to me; I squeezed a lemon in there to add more flavor. I will say that they are generous with meat portions in the soup, although I wish this place (and other Vietnamese restaurants) would give more noodles in these soups because that is my favorite part! My boyfriend scarfed down the Pho Tai Gau, which had a good broth from what I remember. We were seated as soon as we walked in but the waitress asked if we were ready to order before we even looked at the menu. She came back with waters and asked us again if we were ready to order so I felt a bit rushed. My husband had the Vietnamese coffee. I was a bit confused that it came out with hot water in a styrofoam cup and a spoon. I've never poured hot directly into the cup of coffee which was what the waitress did when we asked what it was for. The fried shrimp came out fast, it was good but I wish it was more fragrant with black pepper. It came with sweet chili sauce which complimented it but wish it was fish sauce instead. My bun no hue was ok, flavor wasn't bold and it wasn't spicy, but came loaded with noodles and meats. My husband's chicken pho tasted sweet, with a nice light aroma. He said he liked the broth. DOES NOT ACCOMODATE DISABILITIES. It was around 6:30pm on Sunday, June 28, 2026, that my fiancé and I went out to eat dinner and tried to eat at Pho Dai Loi #3 because we had been wanting to try it for some time. There were about 5 restaurant staff members that approached and surrounded us, which felt threatening, upon entering the restaurant because I brought in my trained, certified service dog through Paws for Life USA. The woman who appeared to be the owner looked upset and kept talking fast in Vietnamese to the other workers who were translating. One of the staff members told us that they could not allow the service dog, but I told them that they have a service dog sign right outside the door that says what every other public business service dog sign says, "no pets are allowed, but service animals accompanying a handler with a disability is allowed in their facility" and that they are not even following their own signage. Then another staff member told us that small service dogs in bags are allowed but not mine because she is considered large even though I told them she just lays under the table and does not move. Another staff member told us that she understands that we have a service dog, but they cannot allow it because the customers will not understand what a service dog is and will complain. They were extremely rude and cruel, so my fiancé just said "ok, we'll go somewhere else," and we left. If you have a disability or you help advocate for disability rights, I strongly suggest that you do NOT eat here and give them your business. There are many other good Pho places in the area that have much better service and are accommodating of disability needs. read more

Alright, I cannot believe how great this place was. Was craving pho since I'm in town for work and Pho Dai Loi did not disappoint. Pho Dac Biet - broth was not bad at all. I was expecting something not so great but man am I glad they proved me wrong. I'm also glad they provided chili oil on the side for you and it made the taste of the pho that much better. What I love about Dai Loi is they always give you a good amount of meat, almost too much. It's a perfect amount of noodle broth and meat. Some places skimp on meat but every time and every location I've been, it's always plentiful. I'm never disappointed. My only gripe is I'd prefer if my broth was hotter. My favorite local Vietnamese restaurant. Yes they have great pho! But my favorite Vietnamese noodle dish is Bún Bò Huế, and they make a great one here. It's a rich and spicy soup with deep layers of flavor. This Central Vietnamese soup has tender slices of beef, pork blood, pork knuckle, and topped with lots of fresh herbs and bean sprouts. You can absolutely forgo either the pork blood or knuckle. I love both but sometimes switch knuckle for extra blood. If you want an alternative to pho, and like a more flavorful soup, definitely try BBH. It looks spicier than it is! I can't eat super spicy and it's enjoyable for me. Of course if you love spice, you can always add more chili oil. If I order pho, I always order number 1 and add meatballs. The broth here is well developed and not too sweet as I sometimes find at other places. My husband loves the chicken pho here as you can choose white meat, dark meat, or combo. They always include a very generous portion of vegetables. Actually the overall portions are generous, even when ordering takeout. I also enjoy the Cơm (rice) dishes here. Number 36 is the classic but there are version depending on what you want with your rice. Looked this place up, saw a few pictures and I knew I had to come visit and I'm certainly glad I did. The pho is real here, (joke alert) and they don't mess around at all. No skimming on the meat, juicy chunks in every bowl, the broth is also great. I love how it isn't over saturated with salt and other additives, it's just a natural blend of flavor. Some may say it's a little bland but you really have to appreciate just enjoying the natural flavors of the broth and all the ingredients inside. I was ready to take on the spice level challenge with the Bun Bo Hue, and I'm glad I did. It was a mellow spice level and not burning your tongue spice. The prices here are all extremely reasonable, you really get a lot of bang for your buck here. The service was great, food came out pretty quickly and everyone was really nice. I wasn't able to dine in today, but still wanted pho and decided to get take out from Dai Loi. I checked their most recent menu online (from 10 months ago) and the prices were pretty reasonable $9~ for a small, $10~ for medium and $11~ for a large. I called to place my order but was told only large is available for take out, no big deal, I can just save the other half for tomorrow or something. Then I was told it's $15~, what a HUGE price difference. I ordered it anyways. The pho was good, nothing spectacular but it was good pho and satisfied my craving. The broth was flavorful and beefy, they're also very generous with their meat as well, not sure if it's because I ordered a large =D I later learned that they charge a different price for take out, not sure why that is. I can understand if they were using DoorDash or UberEats, they want to make up for the commission, but this was an in-house order that I placed.
