The quality and quantity did not justify the price. The spicy beef broth was also horrible; all I could taste was black pepper, which was overused and completely overpowered the broth, killing my taste buds and leaving it with no flavor. Service: The customer service was extremely poor, with little to no attention given to customers. The overall experience felt unwelcoming. Atmosphere: To make matters worse, the owner was smoking cigarettes inside the restaurant, which made the environment unpleasant. The spicy broth was just okay. It was definitely very spicy, even for someone like me who can tolerate Korean-level spice, but I've had better broths elsewhere. I enjoyed the bone broth more. The quality of the meat and ingredients was good, though, and everything tasted fresh. The decor was nice, and they have a sauce cart where you can make your own dipping sauce for the meat, which was a cool touch. Unfortunately, the service was REALLY lacking. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed, but no one came to refill our water the entire time. Our friend eventually had to go up and ask for a new pitcher. Ordering is done off an iPad, but the staff was active and attentive. We ordered the tomato pot and beef tallow pot with medium spice. The tomato was good, but didn't have quite the same depth as the beef tallow. The latter was rich, fatty and quite spicy- better than most broths I've tried at other hot pot places. The vegetable platter and meat platter had good variety came with plenty of food for two people. The total cost for both platters and the soup base was under $60 after tax, which was less than I initially expected. I'm loving all the new hotpot places in Atlanta and this one is no exception. When I entered the restaurant the first thing I noticed was how good the hotpot smelled lol. Their spicy broth is pretty spicy but it actually has really good flavor. It's probably my favorite spicy broth out of all these hotpot places I've tried. I also like that they have a variety of sauces to choose from the sauce bar, and also some small side dishes like their peanuts were good. I ordered a side of fried milk and it's so delicious! I'm not quite sure where else you can get this in Atlanta so I was happy to find it here. I love their dessert bar too. Very refreshing after eating hotpot. Came to try the new lunch sets they came out with. One set is $20. If you want the spicy soup it is $2 extra. We both got the beef sets, with one tomato soup and one spicy tallow soup. The service here was friendly and they refilled our soups. They also provided us with aprons and hair ties ! The set came with beef, vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, noodles and lots of different fish balls. At the end of the meal we also got ice cream! Staff was very helpful with instructions on how to order and even brought some of their "house sauce" that I think they mixed for me(?) when they saw i saw me waiting for my friend. They also gave us a complimentary round of beef because the first one that was brought out was too fatty. Broths were flavorful, and the selected marble beef slices were my personal favorite. They need to seriously increase their quality control. People were lined-up out the door and waiting- just to be disappointed by mediocre food and service. The sauce bar was out of garlic and most sauces, and they never replenished them. They'd bring the raw meats out before the soup base was even brought out, and vegetables took forever. Timing is crucial for hot pot, and for this price and compared to other places I've been to in Houston or California, the timing of how they bring out the orders is lackluster. Date of Visit March 13th, 2024 When I found out a new fancy Hot Pot Chinese place was opening, I had to check it out, so took myself to lunch there for my birthday. Being lunch time it was very quiet, but a very memorable and delicious lunch. ATMOSPHERE/DECO While located in a strip mall, the restaurant and décor are on the fancy side. Very clean, bright and inviting. It is fairly large but I can see them having some wait on weekends as the meals take a while with Hot Pot. They have a sauce bar that is on the small size but have all you need. SERVICE Most of the ordering is done on ipad but the waiters are attentive and fairly fast. As it was my first time there, I made sure to tell the waiter and he explained the process to me. PRICE This is not a all you can eat place, and it can get pretty pricey depending on what you are ordering. I had a double flavor pot, mushroom and quail eggs as side and premium beef, pork belly and lamb as protein, the total was about $100. The protein portion are pretty large, and 2 meat orders would have likely been enough for me (But I wanted to try as much as my stomach could handle! Lol) FOOD Everything was very good, they have a choice of 3 flavor of the pot, they had 4 but they were out of one of them. I got the spicy Beef Tallow in mild, and let me tell you, it was still very spicy. I asked the waiter if they made a mistake, and he said that I had the mild, and that in the region of China were the chef is from people eat food extremely spicy. So while the beef tallow base was great, if you are not into spicy food I would stay away that one and get the Tomato or mushroom base. I had the tomato and it was very good. The mushroom were large and not the easiest thing to eat, but the quail eggs were surprisingly good and perfect addition to the meal. As far as the meats, everything was great. The beef was superbly marbled and so flavorful, the pork belly and lamb were delicious. For non-meat eaters, they had a few seafood and vegetarian (lot of tofu) options as well. You do get complimentary ice cream at the end, and it's very welcome and refreshing after such a big (Spicy) meal. MISCELLEANOUS There is plenty parking as the restaurant is in a strip mall. I did not visit the bathroom so cannot comment on those. All the menu is on an ipad and you can put item in a cart and send directly to kitchen. They do have some unusual item (well to me) that are Chinese delicacies I believe, like duck intestine or pig brain. Didn't try any that time, but maybe next. The table of Chinese people next to me seemed to really enjoy the pig brain. Because eating Hot Pot can be messy, you can ask for a paper apron and trust me you do want one! In Conclusion, definitely one of the best hot pot I ever been too, great election of flavors and protein, I will be back. We came on Saturday for dinner and I think it was their soft opening. They have a tablet up front for a waitlist. There were 11 parties in front of us and ended up waiting for 40 minutes until we got seated. It was pretty busy and loud inside. It took a while for someone to come and check in on us once we were seated. Once we got seated, we were given a tablet to order our items. I guess since it was their soft opening there weren't as many options. For broth, we did half and half and got tomatoes and beef tallow broth. The broth was good. As for food items we got marbled beef, shrimp paste, hand crafted noodles, quail eggs and pea shoots. We only wanted beef and the only beef option was the premium marbled beef which was $30! We also got the shrimp paste which good. The hand crafted noodles had a nice and chewy texture. There is also a sauce bar on the side. The total cost ended up being around $90 for two people (and one of us was not full lol). We also got free ice cream at the end which had the consistency of whipped cream so we didn't really like it. I recently visited with a party of four and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The service was somewhat disappointing, with none of the staff being fluent in English. They didn't bother to ask if it was our first time, leaving us clueless about the setup and where to find the sauces. The hygiene was also questionable, with one of our water cups clearly used and not cleared out. The price was an extortion for what we received. A small side of vegetables (kimchi cabbage) for $4 felt like a rip-off, and 2 plates of beef priced at $17 each were mostly fat. Despite our complaint and request for a replacement, we were told that was all they had, without even an apology. To add to this, the service was horrendous, with different servers approaching us each time, leaving us confused about who was actually serving our table. When we asked about the returned dishes not being removed from the bill, the response was dismissive and lacked any apology or accountability. Shared my experience with coworkers revealed that I wasn't alone in my dissatisfaction, particularly concerning the crazy overpriced menu. Overall, this place failed miserably in providing a satisfactory dining experience, and we won't be returning or recommending it to anyone. Overall, I found enjoyment in this new hotpot location in Duluth. It has a lot to live up to, but it was good. Quality wise, it's up there with the best, but where it loses out is the value it has compared to a lot of the ayce spots in the area. The price of the soup bases feels a bit much. However, the soup bases were some of the most flavourful I've ever had. They have an ok variety of meat and veggies, but they seem to be banking of some of the different options you don't see often, like A5 Wagyu and brain and etc. The sauce bar is minimal, but the soup bases impart so much flavor you almost don't need to add anything more. We were checked often, and they made sure our soup bases stayed filled. Most of the ordering is done on their tablets so you can pick what you want throughout the dining experience and select to have it sent to the table. So, I never felt neglected. The restaurant looks great overall, and the vibe was definitely very inviting and pleasing, so they did a great job. If you want value, this is not likely the best for most, but if you want quality they deliver. They're definitely worth a revisit or a first visit if you haven't tried it, but I imagine they'll still have a tough fight from the value the ayce hot pot spots in the area offer read more

There are three kinds of hotpot that I tried: mushroom, tomato, and spicy beef tallow. Besides them, a great number of side ingredients are provided to customers, including chicken feet, corn, quail eggs, tteokbokki, vegetables, and so on. The service of this hotpot restaurant is very good, while each table provides a self-service bar and a server who can always help customers make perfect sauce. The waiter spoke Mandarin and English, hence communicating with the customers was easy for everyone. Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere is relatively warm and cozy; it is dimly lit, and traditional Mandarin music plays in the background. Overall, food is great, and spicy beef tallow is my personal favorite, but a bit too spicy for my cousin. The tomato soup is also a must-try, as it is delicious and flavorful. Mushroom was okay. We had an amazing time here! The soup base is the literal best in town and there's nothing else to match it. We got the beef tallow and bone broth double base. They are thick, homey, you can taste it that it's not from a power base. The beef tallow base is so buttery it's glazing everything with an incredible aroma. The meat and vegetable are so fresh too! Service was attentive -- we didn't have a designated server to our table, but when we needed service, we had help fast. They had servers observing the room, constantly looking for possible customers they should check in on. I haven't really seen a team that's so attentive for long. Some are Chinese-speaking staff, which I can see might run into problems serving non-Chinese speaking customers. The ambience was incredible. Has a cozy vintage Chinese vibe everywhere we look. The playlist was also traditional Chinese music, soft and soothing. We were weary of the sauce bar, since some reviews said it's too small and dirty. But we enjoyed it! It didn't have over-the-top selections, but definitely enough for us! There were two free appetizers and two free fruit plates. The selection of sauce covers the most essential selections that allows anyone who's experienced in authentic hot pot to make soy sauce-based dipping, peanut sauce based dipping, sesame oil based dipping, and dry chili powder dippings. On top of that, they also have traditional fermented tofu sauce, chive sauce, etc. There was plenty of each ingredient at our visit. So I'm guessing they fixed their previous problem. This place is a great spot for group meals. Went as a group of three, the portions for each item were good for the price and felt that it was enough for each of us. We tried the spicy tallow and the tomato soup base, both of these bases were delicious and added great flavor to our hot pot items.
