I've been here before, but years ago. I visited recently because I heard they renovated. Gorgeous interior. We were greeted kindly by staff and enjoyed a great meal. They have the conveyor belt system, but also have a fridge full of other ingredients to enjoy with your hot pot. For meats, they have four options on the menu and you order it with the staff and they will bring it to your table. I ordered the herbal broth, and it was decent. It isn't super flavorful, but it gets better with time. The more meat and ingredients you cook in it, the better it gets. I also like their hot bar, they have fried snacks and crawfish. The crawfish was spicy and flavorful and I liked it a lot. They also have some desserts as well. The sauce bar also had all the essentials. A very solid hot pot spot! The beef was super tender and I've already come back since that visit. The prices are also reasonable. I believe it's $28.99 a person for dinner! Not bad compared to the places around it which are $32.99. I will definitely be back again soon!

I enjoyed my visit here. I liked the convenience of the conveyor belt but it did only rotate specific items. And maybe we went during a down time because at one point the food rotating was the same stuff and I had to specifically ask for a few items, like noodles, mushrooms and some other stuff. Service was decent.

We've been going here for 4/5 years & the quality of the food has always been exceptional & above. They cater to you here and always make sure you're well fed before you leave. It's newly remodeled, the aesthetics & the lighting is very upscale and modern with a dash of Chinese art. Recommend 10/10

The food was okay. The female server working tonight was extremely helpful but looked so busy. The primary server, was a guy with longer hair. He was no help. This is not how you serve, dude. You have a job. Work.

Beef stacks! Get the all you can eat!

Great Hot Pot! I really enjoyed the beef ! Service was wonderful! It's hard to find service this good! The sauce bar & drink bar were good! Ask for hot tea !

Vegetarian-friendly hot pot place! We had a few vegetarians in our group and they were still able to enjoy the experience since you get your own broth and can pick out your own food (the tomato broth is the only non-veg broth). When you sit down, you give the server your broth choice and meat (unlimited) choices. Then go get your sauces and grab plates off the conveyer belt! There are about 3 options for noodles, there's napa cabbage and other veggies, rice cakes, fish balls, quail eggs, tofu, mushrooms, etc. The good stuff came much less frequently down the conveyer belt. I think there could've been more options for the sides. I got the classic broth which I don't recommend for the lack of flavor. The tom yum one tasted better. Our server wasn't fluent in English, but she did come by 4 times to refill our water! I would recommend coming early - we came at 6:30pm on a Monday and it was nearly empty, but full with a wait once it hit 7:30. Overall fun experience to come with a group of 6 or less! (The booth fit 6 people)

We returned to our favorite hot pot restaurant for their $19.99 lunch special. Loyal customers since its opening before it became 9 Spice, we choose it over new establishments for its exceptional service, not just the food.

So this is an all you can eat hot pot buffett for about $30. You get 1h30 to eat unlimitedly and are able to get anything from the conveyor belt. The staff will bring you your meat choice as often as you want: lamb, beef, chicken and pork. The conveyor belt will have everything else: veggies, seafood, noodles, etc. The sauce bar is somewhat limited in my opinion but the broths were very tasty and the options are good. Definitely worth the price. Not super great for large groups but the do have long booths with separate and combined burners. Great place to check out if in the area.

This review is based on a Thursday evening at 6pm. White couple who loves them some food and doesn't give two sh*ts that we are the only white people in a joint...You don't speak English-great I'll point to things and smile. Our server doesn't give us every tiny helpful detail-because it's our first time...We do not care! What we order isn't what we are are given-awesome it probably tastes better anyway! So on to the meal...it was our first revolving Hot Pot experience and so that fact is going to be reflected in this review. We loved it! The service was good. Our server was a laidback dude, some would call him aloof, but he was polite and helpful, but didn't pester. Him being soft spoken and wearing a mask made for him having to repeat himself quite a bit with all the various tables. He smiled-even got a few chuckles out of him, kept our waters filled, tended to our sake and brought extra napkins...like what more do we need! THE SAUCE STATION....I repeat the sauce station!! That was the highlight...we took full advantage of it..the special sauce was delish and spicy...yum! We love our sauces and dipping things in ALL the things! Meat selection-Thin sliced..pork belly, brisket, lamb and chicken. You have to request these separate to what is floating around on the belt. What is on the belt is seafood related and these tiny little sausages which were a yummy little porky treat...I'm pretty sure I ate my weight in them. ~They were out of mashed proteins because of "labor shortages"-we didn't miss them, because we didn't even know they were really a thing to miss. Seafood-whole shrimp, mussels, clams, white fish, some other white fish, squid and fish balls, Veggies-Wood ear, mushrooms, fungus, cabbage, mixed greens, taro, radish, more cabbage, potato, chrysanthemum(which is really good), bok choy and I'm probably forgetting a few others. Other offerings-Thin and thicker rice noodles, glass noodle, ramen noodle, pork dumplings, fried dough, tofu-couple of varieties...what I think was rice cakes, it very well may have been sliced radish. Kelp, beef/pork/fish balls, corn and probably 2-3 other things I'm leaving out. I'm sure it varies based on volume and availability of things. The broth we picked was Tom Yum and Tomato. Both were a little on the bland side, but after a couple of spoonfuls of the various sauce station pickings-we were in business..but wanted to make note of it. You will probably want to add additional seasoning before you dive in with all the meat/veg. We are dippers so we were perfectly fine dipping our stuff in the sauces too. ~Don't forget to grab a ladle, you'll want it for chasing the floaty bits from your broth-if you don't see it, then ask! ~May also want to ask for a bowl...they give you plates, but a small bowl would have served as a better food vehicle. Not a knock-but looking back I wished I'd asked for one. Two people, a medium bottle of sake 20% tip ran us just short of $100 bucks. Not cheap, but we've wasted way more on crappy food...so I think it was reasonable. Would go back again....but not on a weekend.

My favorite hot pot! The prices are so good, the cheapest I've found, and the service is always really nice. I love the conveyor belt and they just renovated and added fridges for some ingredients

The conveyer belt concept is fun. The food on offer- not so much. Won't be back. The waiter seemed more focused on his phone than actually providing service. There are much better options in the area.

Very nice and cool place for hot pot

Very nice and cool place for hot pot. I think their price is cheap compare to other ayce hotpot

    Conveyor belt with food

I absolutely loveeeeee coming here. I was so sad when they temporarily closed for renovations but it looks so nice and cute inside. Definitely still the same yummy food! And all the staff is so nice and welcoming. Service is good !

What a steal for all of the food options! They have an amazing sauce bar, fridged items, skewers and sides. I personally liked the skewered meats better than the thinly sliced meats. There's a lot of premium or "premium" type of ingredients like pig intestines that you don't really expect to find at that many hot pot spots. I love pig intestines, and I'm proud of it. Each experience is just as enjoyable as the first, and the quality remains consistently impressive. The customer service is excellent, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is also a wide variety of ingredients available to customize your bowl. Since everything is priced by weight, I recommend selecting only as much as you are prepared to eat. Having tried every option on the menu, my top recommendation is the spicy hot pot beef broth. It is extremely flavorful, though customers should be mindful when choosing their spice level, as even the medium option can be quite spicy. My second favorite is the dry spicy mix, shown in my photo. After experimenting with the different broths, this became my preferred choice. However, it is best suited for those who enjoy a drier style, and the spice level tends to feel more intense compared to the soup-based options. My third choice is the tomato beef broth, which was my least favorite personally. Lastly, the spicy and sour beef broth was acceptable, though it did not particularly appeal to my taste.

For our broth bases, I chose the Mara while my boyfriend picked the Deungchon-- both were flavorful and great choices. While waiting for our hot pots and meat, I checked out the hot bar, which had side dishes like tteokbokki, japchae, fried rice, and more. I had some dishes from the bar as little appetizers, and they were tasty. For meats, we mostly ordered the non-fatty beef, brisket, and rib-eye. The meat quality was good. My boyfriend also ordered a round of clams and mussels. I personally wasn't too interested because they looked a bit unappealing, but he said they were okay. As a quick intermission from the shabu, we both enjoyed the shaved ice dessert. Unfortunately, near the end of our dining experience, while finishing our last plate of meat, my boyfriend noticed something crawling on the table. He lifted the water cup and found an inchworm. We think it may have come from one of the vegetables we grabbed earlier. We notified our server, who simply squished it and asked if we wanted a new cup. We declined and decided to leave. The inchworm incident definitely brought the experience down significantly, even though it happened near the end of our meal, and it honestly made me consider giving this place only two stars. However, I'm hoping it was just an unlucky mistake because I otherwise enjoyed 9292 Shabu and hope they improve their sanitation practices moving forward.

The Chinese herbal soup was really flavorful. When the meat was soaking in it, I could taste the flavor that was soaked through. I highly recommend this base. The spicy soup was extra, but the reasoning they said was because it's from China. And even getting the very mild was pretty spicy. The concept of going to the four fridges and grabbing your hot pot ingredients was interesting. It's such a waste of skewers though! But the fridge had veggies, skewered meats, seafood, noodles, and much more. Since this is an all you can eat place, you can grab any item freely. I do think they will charge you if there's excess food leftover. Well, says the sign anyway. The lamb and beef were the only two free meat options, but you can order this as much as you can eat. The brown sugar rice cake and crispy fried pork were very unique items that's also in the unlimited menu option. There was also interesting tidbits at the bar area near the sauce bar like beef jerky bits, peanuts, and sweet potato balls with a taro interior. Overall very unique ingredients you can order or extra menu items like pig brain, duck jelly, duck tongue among others. Our group didn't venture into trying these though. The ingredients already included were just as good though.
